ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
In Episode 2 of Overwatch: Behind the Badge, I dig deeper into my story. This is the longer, unfiltered version — how my PTSD progressed over time, what “bullet time” felt like on the job, how trauma followed me off duty, and what eventually pushed me to retire early from law enforcement.
I talk honestly about judgment, isolation, hallucinations, my suicide attempt, and the moments that made it impossible to ignore what PTSD was doing to my nervous system. I also share how EMDR therapy helped me begin reclaiming my life, and why transparency and breaking the silence matter — especially for veterans, law enforcement, and first responders.
This episode isn’t about sympathy.
It’s about understanding.
It’s about transparency.
And it’s about breaking the silence around the things we’ve been taught to carry alone.
