00:00:00.480 --> 00:00:04.639
Hello, friends, We recently learned of what may be one
2
00:00:04.639 --> 00:00:08.160
of the strangest updates to a missing person case that
3
00:00:08.199 --> 00:00:12.160
we've ever brought forth. Now, sometimes in these missing person
4
00:00:12.199 --> 00:00:15.359
cases that we cover, there will be a little bit
5
00:00:15.400 --> 00:00:19.239
of a paranormal or supernatural element. It's usually something small
6
00:00:19.280 --> 00:00:23.160
and not very significant to the overall case, but sometimes
7
00:00:23.160 --> 00:00:25.719
it seems that the unknown can play a larger part
8
00:00:25.960 --> 00:00:30.719
in these cases, stories of UFOs, the fae, Bigfoot, or
9
00:00:30.760 --> 00:00:36.359
other cryptids, portals, translucent entities, etc. But is it possible
10
00:00:36.920 --> 00:00:39.759
that the ghost of a missing woman may be trying
11
00:00:39.799 --> 00:00:42.920
to help solve her disappearance, or at least help locate
12
00:00:42.960 --> 00:00:46.479
or remains. We ask that you keep an open mind
13
00:00:46.759 --> 00:00:51.280
and consider the following case. Back in episode number seven
14
00:00:51.399 --> 00:00:55.280
of our ten Unsolved National Park Disappearances series, we brought
15
00:00:55.280 --> 00:00:59.719
you the story of Sandra Hughes to recap. Fifty four
16
00:00:59.759 --> 00:01:03.840
years old, Sandra Johnson Hughes of California was last heard
17
00:01:03.880 --> 00:01:07.799
from on June twenty sixth, twenty twenty. Sandra had embarked
18
00:01:07.799 --> 00:01:10.439
on a solo camping trip in the Sierra south of
19
00:01:10.519 --> 00:01:14.879
Yosemite to escape from the current pandemic. Sandra had recently
20
00:01:14.920 --> 00:01:18.439
moved from Maui, Hawaii, to California in June of twenty twenty.
21
00:01:19.400 --> 00:01:21.400
She had trained to be a park ranger in college
22
00:01:21.439 --> 00:01:26.400
and was experiencing the outdoors. On July fifth of that year,
23
00:01:26.599 --> 00:01:29.439
the Madera County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help
24
00:01:29.519 --> 00:01:32.840
in locating Sandra after they found her campsite near the
25
00:01:32.879 --> 00:01:36.640
Johnson's Meadow section of the forest in disarray. On that
26
00:01:36.719 --> 00:01:40.760
same day, the authorities located Hughes Silver Sob and Shequido
27
00:01:40.920 --> 00:01:43.640
Creek to the north of the campsite. They said it
28
00:01:43.680 --> 00:01:45.560
appeared to have crashed into a tree at a speed
29
00:01:45.560 --> 00:01:48.319
of less than twenty miles per hour before rolling into
30
00:01:48.359 --> 00:01:53.280
the ravine. Akers reported sing Sandra on July fourth, twenty twenty,
31
00:01:53.760 --> 00:01:55.760
and said she was barefoot and had a bruise on
32
00:01:55.799 --> 00:01:58.840
her face. They offered to help her, but she declined.
33
00:01:58.920 --> 00:02:03.560
Medical assistance officers and volunteer search and rescue teams from
34
00:02:03.560 --> 00:02:06.359
more than half a dozen other sheriff's departments, together with
35
00:02:06.480 --> 00:02:10.080
dog teams, the California Highway Patrol and the Governor's Office
36
00:02:10.159 --> 00:02:14.199
of Emergency Services, combed the forest on foot while helicopters
37
00:02:14.240 --> 00:02:17.919
from California Air National Guard did an aerial search. The
38
00:02:17.919 --> 00:02:20.240
search focused around the area where her car was found,
39
00:02:20.560 --> 00:02:24.280
but there was no sign of Sandra. Then, on August ninth,
40
00:02:24.360 --> 00:02:27.400
twenty twenty two, hunters saw a woman leaning against a
41
00:02:27.479 --> 00:02:31.560
tree along Road five S zero one near Beiesore Road.
42
00:02:32.599 --> 00:02:35.400
She did not wave them down, attempt contact, or appear
43
00:02:35.479 --> 00:02:39.840
to be in any distress. Upon returning a recognizer from
44
00:02:39.879 --> 00:02:43.680
a missing persons fire and contacted park rangers, the hunter
45
00:02:43.759 --> 00:02:46.159
said that she appears to be visibly thinner than her
46
00:02:46.199 --> 00:02:51.000
last known photos. At the time of her disappearance, Sandra
47
00:02:51.080 --> 00:02:53.680
was a fifty four year old white female with blue
48
00:02:53.719 --> 00:02:57.240
shoulder lengked hair. Her natural color is brown. She has
49
00:02:57.280 --> 00:03:00.280
brown eyes, as approximately five foot three inches tall and
50
00:03:00.360 --> 00:03:03.080
weighs about one hundred and fifty pounds. The search for
51
00:03:03.199 --> 00:03:08.719
Sandra was ongoing but limited. Now flashed forward to almost
52
00:03:08.759 --> 00:03:12.360
exactly one year later. This strange update to the case
53
00:03:12.599 --> 00:03:16.919
comes from the Madera County Sheriff's Office in Madera, California.
54
00:03:17.159 --> 00:03:20.400
It seems that a family from nearby Course Gold, California,
55
00:03:20.919 --> 00:03:24.520
experienced a bizarre broad daylight ghost sighting in the Madeir
56
00:03:24.560 --> 00:03:28.199
County Mountains on Wednesday, July twenty first, twenty twenty one.
57
00:03:30.120 --> 00:03:33.120
The event was so strange and disturbing that the Madera
58
00:03:33.240 --> 00:03:37.520
County Sheriff's Office felt the need to further investigate. It
59
00:03:37.520 --> 00:03:40.960
seems that a man named Jake Gorba, his wife Victoria,
60
00:03:41.360 --> 00:03:43.759
and their three children decided to take their four wheeler
61
00:03:43.840 --> 00:03:46.240
up to the shut Eye Peak on that faithful Wednesday.
62
00:03:47.319 --> 00:03:49.599
While on this family outing, they stopped to have something
63
00:03:49.599 --> 00:03:52.840
to eat beside the trail, and that's when things started
64
00:03:52.879 --> 00:03:56.960
to get strange. The couple's three year old son, Caden,
65
00:03:57.319 --> 00:04:02.159
suddenly began animatedly talking to someone near. He was just
66
00:04:02.280 --> 00:04:04.280
in our four wheeler and he was pointing out to
67
00:04:04.360 --> 00:04:06.960
a certain spot in the meadow, said his mom Victoria.
68
00:04:08.000 --> 00:04:11.879
The normally reserved and somewhat quiet Caden excitedly told his
69
00:04:11.960 --> 00:04:14.240
parents that they're in the meadow. By where the family
70
00:04:14.280 --> 00:04:17.279
was having lunch, was a woman lying face down with
71
00:04:17.319 --> 00:04:21.399
her legs straight up in the air. Furthermore, Caden stated
72
00:04:21.399 --> 00:04:23.480
that the woman was unable to speak or move and
73
00:04:23.560 --> 00:04:26.680
needed help. He began pleading with his parents to help
74
00:04:26.720 --> 00:04:31.199
this poor woman. He flat out told us, Mom, she's
75
00:04:31.240 --> 00:04:34.959
already dead, but she needs our help. And that's when
76
00:04:34.959 --> 00:04:37.600
I got the goose bumps. I was like, oh my gosh,
77
00:04:37.800 --> 00:04:41.879
Victoria said. He goes, yeah, there's a lady over in
78
00:04:41.920 --> 00:04:44.959
the meadow in a black shirt, blue jeans, and blue hair,
79
00:04:46.000 --> 00:04:50.000
and I got goose bumps, said Victoria. He says she
80
00:04:50.120 --> 00:04:52.879
needs our help, but she's dead and she's lying face
81
00:04:52.920 --> 00:04:55.519
down with her legs up. She can't talk to me,
82
00:04:55.800 --> 00:04:58.079
but she's over there. We need to go help her.
83
00:04:59.480 --> 00:05:02.360
So in order to call him Young Caden down, Jake
84
00:05:02.399 --> 00:05:04.639
and Victoria walked over and checked out the metal but
85
00:05:04.680 --> 00:05:10.319
saw absolutely nothing. Caden continued to insist. He kept saying,
86
00:05:10.399 --> 00:05:13.240
trust me, trust me, mom, And I was like, I
87
00:05:13.279 --> 00:05:16.800
trust you, I trust you. I believe you one hundred percent,
88
00:05:16.879 --> 00:05:21.839
said Victoria. Whatever Young Caden was experiencing so unnerved and
89
00:05:21.879 --> 00:05:24.399
spoke the rest of the family that the other members
90
00:05:24.439 --> 00:05:27.639
of the family all unanimously agreed time to put an
91
00:05:27.680 --> 00:05:29.920
early end to their day of adventure and make the
92
00:05:29.959 --> 00:05:34.480
thirty five mile drive back home to Course Gold. After
93
00:05:34.560 --> 00:05:38.000
arriving home the event still fresh in her mind, Victoria
94
00:05:38.079 --> 00:05:41.199
decided to post about the weird encounter on her Facebook profile.
95
00:05:42.120 --> 00:05:44.279
We put it on Facebook to see if anybody knew
96
00:05:44.279 --> 00:05:47.639
anything about this area and come to find out there
97
00:05:47.959 --> 00:05:50.519
was a lady missing with a description that he described
98
00:05:50.519 --> 00:05:53.480
to us within a five mile radius of where we were,
99
00:05:53.600 --> 00:05:58.079
said Victoria. Now viewers of this channel no. From our
100
00:05:58.079 --> 00:06:01.199
previous episode number seven, Hughes had gone missing in that
101
00:06:01.279 --> 00:06:05.120
area in June of twenty twenty. The encounter became even
102
00:06:05.160 --> 00:06:08.519
more chilling when, according to Victoria, three year old Caden's
103
00:06:08.600 --> 00:06:10.839
highly detailed description of the woman he had seen in
104
00:06:10.839 --> 00:06:14.079
the meadow was identical to the description of Sandra Hughes
105
00:06:14.439 --> 00:06:18.439
as given by the local authorities. He was very adamant
106
00:06:18.480 --> 00:06:20.920
that we needed to help her, and he described her
107
00:06:20.959 --> 00:06:23.879
down to blue hair. He said, she has a black shirt,
108
00:06:24.199 --> 00:06:27.879
blue jeans, and blue hair. Mom. That's the exact description
109
00:06:28.000 --> 00:06:32.120
of her when she went missing, said Victoria. Then Victoria
110
00:06:32.160 --> 00:06:34.800
went and searched online for Sandra Hughes and found some
111
00:06:34.839 --> 00:06:36.680
photographs that have been released as a part of the
112
00:06:36.680 --> 00:06:40.839
search effort a year prior. Victoria said she got goosebumps
113
00:06:40.839 --> 00:06:43.560
when Cayden readily recognized three of the photos of Sandra,
114
00:06:43.759 --> 00:06:46.319
identifying her as the woman he had seen in the field.
115
00:06:47.800 --> 00:06:50.680
As frait would have it, Madera County Sheriff Corporal Chris
116
00:06:50.720 --> 00:06:54.040
Williams just happened to see the Facebook post and found
117
00:06:54.079 --> 00:06:57.519
it intriguing, to say the least, so much so that
118
00:06:57.600 --> 00:07:00.439
he contacted Cayden's family to further investment. To gate the
119
00:07:00.519 --> 00:07:05.040
chilling account, Victoria said, the corporal in charge of her
120
00:07:05.079 --> 00:07:08.399
case actually reached out to us on Facebook and was like, Hey,
121
00:07:08.600 --> 00:07:10.680
we want more information and we want to bring you
122
00:07:10.720 --> 00:07:12.680
guys back up there and see if you could point
123
00:07:12.759 --> 00:07:16.399
us in the right direction. Corporal Williams has been investigating
124
00:07:16.439 --> 00:07:19.759
the disappearance of Sander Hughes since the beginning of the investigation.
125
00:07:21.319 --> 00:07:25.120
On the following Thursday, two Madera County Sheriff's deputies ventured
126
00:07:25.160 --> 00:07:27.759
back up to the meadow to investigate, with Jake and
127
00:07:27.800 --> 00:07:31.759
Caden coming along to point them in the right direction. Unfortunately,
128
00:07:32.120 --> 00:07:35.079
the deputies found nothing new by way of evidence, although
129
00:07:35.120 --> 00:07:40.279
the case remains open. If she was possibly a ghost
130
00:07:40.399 --> 00:07:42.839
looking for some help, I hope that he could have
131
00:07:42.879 --> 00:07:45.160
at least helped and maybe helped the family find her,
132
00:07:45.439 --> 00:07:48.040
because it's been a long time apparently since she's been gone.
133
00:07:48.199 --> 00:07:52.480
Victoria said. The four wheeler that Cayden and his family
134
00:07:52.560 --> 00:07:54.879
used while traveling in the mountains has now been nicknamed
135
00:07:54.879 --> 00:07:59.040
the Ghost Runner, and incidentally is also for sale. It's
136
00:07:59.079 --> 00:08:01.199
not believed that this pok encounter is the reason they
137
00:08:01.199 --> 00:08:03.439
put the vehicle up for sale, as the family says
138
00:08:03.439 --> 00:08:06.000
they will continue to go adventuring in the Madeira Mountains,
139
00:08:06.040 --> 00:08:08.519
but do admit there are a few spots now which
140
00:08:08.560 --> 00:08:13.079
they aren't anxious to visit again anytime soon, if at all.
141
00:08:13.279 --> 00:08:15.480
Local news reporters in the area reached out to the
142
00:08:15.480 --> 00:08:18.680
Madera County Sheriff's Office, who did confirm that they received
143
00:08:18.680 --> 00:08:21.319
a report of a possible sighting of some sort and
144
00:08:21.360 --> 00:08:23.040
they did go out to the location to search for
145
00:08:23.120 --> 00:08:27.680
any additional leads information. For now, the case remains open
146
00:08:27.680 --> 00:08:30.199
and hopes that this latest update regarding the spooking en
147
00:08:30.199 --> 00:08:34.720
counter may produce some new leads. Now. As strange as
148
00:08:34.759 --> 00:08:37.799
this new development is, it's not the first time that
149
00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:42.600
possibly a ghost helped solve the missing person's case. Back
150
00:08:42.639 --> 00:08:46.720
on February twenty first, nineteen ninety seven, the TV show
151
00:08:46.879 --> 00:08:50.639
Unsolved Mysteries aired a segment regarding a missing person's case
152
00:08:50.679 --> 00:08:54.919
from almost three years prior. This report told the story
153
00:08:54.960 --> 00:08:57.960
of twenty three year old Christine Scoobish and her three
154
00:08:58.039 --> 00:09:01.639
year old son, Nick, driving along Highway fifty in the
155
00:09:01.679 --> 00:09:05.000
Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in California when they vanished without
156
00:09:05.039 --> 00:09:09.799
a trace on June sixth, nineteen ninety four. Christine was
157
00:09:09.840 --> 00:09:13.320
a single mother and had recently completed paralegal training. She
158
00:09:13.360 --> 00:09:15.639
had plans of going to work for a prestigious law firm,
159
00:09:15.919 --> 00:09:17.799
and she helped make enough money so that she and
160
00:09:17.840 --> 00:09:22.600
her child's father could be married. Christine left her stepparents
161
00:09:22.679 --> 00:09:25.960
home near Sacramento on June fifth, nineteen ninety four, on
162
00:09:26.000 --> 00:09:29.600
her way to Carson City, Nevada. After failing to make
163
00:09:29.639 --> 00:09:33.799
contact with her family. After three days, her stepfather, Dave Stossenbach,
164
00:09:34.360 --> 00:09:37.480
reported her and her son missing on June eighth. The
165
00:09:37.480 --> 00:09:40.480
police took the missing person's report, but there were no
166
00:09:40.559 --> 00:09:45.440
initial leads in the case. Five days after Christine and
167
00:09:45.519 --> 00:09:48.960
Nick disappeared, however, a woman named Deborah Hoyt and her
168
00:09:49.039 --> 00:09:52.000
husband were driving along a Highway fifty around three am.
169
00:09:52.840 --> 00:09:55.039
The pair were on along overnight drive and had been
170
00:09:55.120 --> 00:09:59.080
joking and singing in order to keep each other away. Suddenly,
171
00:09:59.559 --> 00:10:02.840
dever what appeared to be a completely naked woman lying
172
00:10:02.879 --> 00:10:05.960
on the side of the road. The naked woman's face
173
00:10:06.039 --> 00:10:07.919
was turned toward the road and she was laying on
174
00:10:07.919 --> 00:10:10.799
her side with her knees slightly bent. She had one
175
00:10:10.879 --> 00:10:13.399
arm placed beneath her head and the other arm held
176
00:10:13.440 --> 00:10:17.759
over her head. The Hoitz were shocked beyond belief. They
177
00:10:17.759 --> 00:10:20.200
thought it must have been some sort of sick practical joke,
178
00:10:20.399 --> 00:10:23.240
or perhaps he would employ the carjack them had they stopped.
179
00:10:24.159 --> 00:10:27.639
Deborah floored the accelerator instead and sped down Highway fifty,
180
00:10:27.919 --> 00:10:30.679
not stopping until she arrived at the nearest phone booth,
181
00:10:30.799 --> 00:10:35.080
where she proceeded to call the police. In just minutes.
182
00:10:35.480 --> 00:10:37.639
Two Sharf's cards with the scene were deborn seeing the
183
00:10:37.679 --> 00:10:42.000
naked woman's body. However, unable to pinpoint the exact location,
184
00:10:42.279 --> 00:10:46.279
the deputies reported that they saw and found nothing. The
185
00:10:46.279 --> 00:10:50.000
next morning, though speculations began that the sighting had something
186
00:10:50.039 --> 00:10:52.320
to do with the disappearance of Christine and Nick, who
187
00:10:52.399 --> 00:10:56.120
were the most recently missing people from that area. Due
188
00:10:56.120 --> 00:11:00.320
to the insistence from the family, deputy Rich Strasser decided
189
00:11:00.360 --> 00:11:03.279
to go back and have a closer look. Strasser figured
190
00:11:03.279 --> 00:11:05.000
that it might be easier to spot anything out of
191
00:11:05.000 --> 00:11:08.919
the ordinary in the daylight. Deborah had indicated that a
192
00:11:08.960 --> 00:11:12.279
particularly dangerous stretch of Highway fifty, known as Bullyon Bend,
193
00:11:12.720 --> 00:11:16.600
was where the incident took place. As Strasser patrolled the area,
194
00:11:16.720 --> 00:11:19.120
he spotted a new looking child's tennis shoe on the
195
00:11:19.159 --> 00:11:22.639
side of the road. Immediately next to that spot and
196
00:11:22.679 --> 00:11:26.840
the shoulder of the road was a steep embankment. Strasser
197
00:11:26.879 --> 00:11:29.240
pulled over his cruiser to search the area more thoroughly,
198
00:11:29.279 --> 00:11:32.399
and sure enough, at the bottom of the embankment he
199
00:11:32.480 --> 00:11:37.120
spotted the twisted remains of Christine's car. He checked Christine
200
00:11:37.120 --> 00:11:39.759
and observed that she was dead and unfortunately had been
201
00:11:39.759 --> 00:11:43.759
that way for quite some time. The deputy then went
202
00:11:43.759 --> 00:11:46.200
around to the other side to check Nick, who was
203
00:11:46.240 --> 00:11:48.639
curled up in a fetal position in the passenger seat.
204
00:11:50.000 --> 00:11:52.320
Strasser assumed the worst and was sure that Nick was
205
00:11:52.360 --> 00:11:56.240
also dead. However, when he touched the little boy's neck
206
00:11:56.279 --> 00:11:59.519
to find a pulse, it appeared that Nick took a breath.
207
00:12:00.399 --> 00:12:04.039
Strasser immediately radioed for an ambulance. Little Nick had been
208
00:12:04.080 --> 00:12:06.679
a loan in the car for five days, yet he
209
00:12:06.759 --> 00:12:11.679
was somehow still clinging to life. Officials believed that sometime
210
00:12:11.720 --> 00:12:15.080
around two am on June sixth, Christine must have fallen
211
00:12:15.120 --> 00:12:18.200
asleep at the wheel, the car veered off the road
212
00:12:18.200 --> 00:12:20.840
and plunged to the bottom of the ditch, striking a tree.
213
00:12:21.919 --> 00:12:25.200
Due to the embankment being so steep, other drivers drove
214
00:12:25.320 --> 00:12:28.559
right past the accident seened for days, unaware that it
215
00:12:28.600 --> 00:12:31.759
was just over the side of the road. It was
216
00:12:31.840 --> 00:12:34.960
later determined that Christine had been killed instantly on impact
217
00:12:35.000 --> 00:12:37.799
with the tree. To your old Nick was all long,
218
00:12:37.919 --> 00:12:39.720
with no way out and no one to talk to.
219
00:12:41.000 --> 00:12:43.679
Christine's mother says that she believes that little Nick spent
220
00:12:43.759 --> 00:12:46.759
the time talking to his mother, unaware that she was dead.
221
00:12:47.960 --> 00:12:51.200
Against all odds, he survived five days of intense heat
222
00:12:51.240 --> 00:12:54.480
and four nights of cold, trapped within the twisted remains
223
00:12:54.480 --> 00:12:57.679
of the car. Doctors who examined Nick stated that he
224
00:12:57.759 --> 00:13:00.759
was in such bad shape that he would slightly die
225
00:13:00.840 --> 00:13:03.200
within a couple of hours had he not been found
226
00:13:03.279 --> 00:13:06.240
when he was. Had he not been found when he was,
227
00:13:07.879 --> 00:13:10.919
the strange encounter that saved Nick's life seems to defy
228
00:13:11.039 --> 00:13:14.519
any rational explanation. If Debora had not seen the naked
229
00:13:14.559 --> 00:13:16.799
woman lying on the side of the road, Nick would
230
00:13:16.799 --> 00:13:21.519
have not survived. Now it's absolutely impossible for Christine to
231
00:13:21.600 --> 00:13:24.240
have been the naked woman. She was still fully clothed
232
00:13:24.279 --> 00:13:27.120
and wearing her seatbelt when found, and the medical examiner
233
00:13:27.159 --> 00:13:31.039
stated that she was most likely killed on impact. Deborah
234
00:13:31.039 --> 00:13:33.240
Hoyt is one hundred percent certain that she saw a
235
00:13:33.320 --> 00:13:36.200
naked woman on the side of the road. Both she
236
00:13:36.360 --> 00:13:40.159
and Christine's family believe it was Christine's spirit who saved
237
00:13:40.240 --> 00:13:43.480
Nick that day. The spirit had apparently appeared in the
238
00:13:43.559 --> 00:13:47.840
nude in order to draw attention. Nick years later, as
239
00:13:47.879 --> 00:13:52.120
an adult, was interviewed on a television show Paranormal Witness.
240
00:13:52.679 --> 00:13:55.919
He remembers seeing a bright light surrounding the car following
241
00:13:55.960 --> 00:13:59.440
the accident. To this day, he believes that his mother
242
00:13:59.559 --> 00:14:02.519
was watching over him following the accident and helped him
243
00:14:02.559 --> 00:14:06.559
to be rescued. The show also revealed that Christine's aunt
244
00:14:06.639 --> 00:14:10.519
had several dreams or premonitions about the accident before Christine
245
00:14:10.519 --> 00:14:14.120
and Nick were even reported missing. She dreamed of seeing
246
00:14:14.159 --> 00:14:17.080
them lying in their car in a ditch. She also
247
00:14:17.120 --> 00:14:20.519
saw the number sixteen in the dream, which turned out
248
00:14:20.559 --> 00:14:23.320
to be the number for the mile marker nearest the
249
00:14:23.399 --> 00:14:28.039
accident's site. Well, there you have it. What do you
250
00:14:28.080 --> 00:14:30.759
think about the apparition that little Kayden observed which she
251
00:14:30.879 --> 00:14:33.919
identified as Sandra Hughes, even down to the color of
252
00:14:33.960 --> 00:14:37.080
her hair, which was dyed blue when she went missing.
253
00:14:38.279 --> 00:14:41.440
Is it possible that Sandra's spirit is attempting to communicate
254
00:14:41.480 --> 00:14:44.120
with a living in a desire that it remains be
255
00:14:44.159 --> 00:14:47.080
found and her friend and loved ones have closure. It
256
00:14:47.159 --> 00:14:50.039
certainly appears that way. And what about the two other
257
00:14:50.080 --> 00:14:53.799
times she was spotted by hikers? Was that actually her
258
00:14:54.440 --> 00:14:59.039
or was that an apparition? Now, as a result of
259
00:14:59.080 --> 00:15:02.720
this strange update an unusual circumstance, Bill and I are
260
00:15:02.759 --> 00:15:07.200
reaching out to the paranormal community regarding this case. Here
261
00:15:07.279 --> 00:15:10.200
is apparently a spirit that is actively trying to communicate
262
00:15:10.240 --> 00:15:13.399
with a living We ask that if you have those

I'll talk to you next time.
1
00:00:00.480 --> 00:00:04.639
Hello, friends, We recently learned of what may be one
2
00:00:04.639 --> 00:00:08.160
of the strangest updates to a missing person case that
3
00:00:08.199 --> 00:00:12.160
we've ever brought forth. Now, sometimes in these missing person
4
00:00:12.199 --> 00:00:15.359
cases that we cover, there will be a little bit
5
00:00:15.400 --> 00:00:19.239
of a paranormal or supernatural element. It's usually something small
6
00:00:19.280 --> 00:00:23.160
and not very significant to the overall case, but sometimes
7
00:00:23.160 --> 00:00:25.719
it seems that the unknown can play a larger part
8
00:00:25.960 --> 00:00:30.719
in these cases, stories of UFOs, the fae, Bigfoot, or
9
00:00:30.760 --> 00:00:36.359
other cryptids, portals, translucent entities, etc. But is it possible
10
00:00:36.920 --> 00:00:39.759
that the ghost of a missing woman may be trying
11
00:00:39.799 --> 00:00:42.920
to help solve her disappearance, or at least help locate
12
00:00:42.960 --> 00:00:46.479
or remains. We ask that you keep an open mind
13
00:00:46.759 --> 00:00:51.280
and consider the following case. Back in episode number seven
14
00:00:51.399 --> 00:00:55.280
of our ten Unsolved National Park Disappearances series, we brought
15
00:00:55.280 --> 00:00:59.719
you the story of Sandra Hughes to recap. Fifty four
16
00:00:59.759 --> 00:01:03.840
years old, Sandra Johnson Hughes of California was last heard
17
00:01:03.880 --> 00:01:07.799
from on June twenty sixth, twenty twenty. Sandra had embarked
18
00:01:07.799 --> 00:01:10.439
on a solo camping trip in the Sierra south of
19
00:01:10.519 --> 00:01:14.879
Yosemite to escape from the current pandemic. Sandra had recently
20
00:01:14.920 --> 00:01:18.439
moved from Maui, Hawaii, to California in June of twenty twenty.
21
00:01:19.400 --> 00:01:21.400
She had trained to be a park ranger in college
22
00:01:21.439 --> 00:01:26.400
and was experiencing the outdoors. On July fifth of that year,
23
00:01:26.599 --> 00:01:29.439
the Madera County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help
24
00:01:29.519 --> 00:01:32.840
in locating Sandra after they found her campsite near the
25
00:01:32.879 --> 00:01:36.640
Johnson's Meadow section of the forest in disarray. On that
26
00:01:36.719 --> 00:01:40.760
same day, the authorities located Hughes Silver Sob and Shequido
27
00:01:40.920 --> 00:01:43.640
Creek to the north of the campsite. They said it
28
00:01:43.680 --> 00:01:45.560
appeared to have crashed into a tree at a speed
29
00:01:45.560 --> 00:01:48.319
of less than twenty miles per hour before rolling into
30
00:01:48.359 --> 00:01:53.280
the ravine. Akers reported sing Sandra on July fourth, twenty twenty,
31
00:01:53.760 --> 00:01:55.760
and said she was barefoot and had a bruise on
32
00:01:55.799 --> 00:01:58.840
her face. They offered to help her, but she declined.
33
00:01:58.920 --> 00:02:03.560
Medical assistance officers and volunteer search and rescue teams from
34
00:02:03.560 --> 00:02:06.359
more than half a dozen other sheriff's departments, together with
35
00:02:06.480 --> 00:02:10.080
dog teams, the California Highway Patrol and the Governor's Office
36
00:02:10.159 --> 00:02:14.199
of Emergency Services, combed the forest on foot while helicopters
37
00:02:14.240 --> 00:02:17.919
from California Air National Guard did an aerial search. The
38
00:02:17.919 --> 00:02:20.240
search focused around the area where her car was found,
39
00:02:20.560 --> 00:02:24.280
but there was no sign of Sandra. Then, on August ninth,
40
00:02:24.360 --> 00:02:27.400
twenty twenty two, hunters saw a woman leaning against a
41
00:02:27.479 --> 00:02:31.560
tree along Road five S zero one near Beiesore Road.
42
00:02:32.599 --> 00:02:35.400
She did not wave them down, attempt contact, or appear
43
00:02:35.479 --> 00:02:39.840
to be in any distress. Upon returning a recognizer from
44
00:02:39.879 --> 00:02:43.680
a missing persons fire and contacted park rangers, the hunter
45
00:02:43.759 --> 00:02:46.159
said that she appears to be visibly thinner than her
46
00:02:46.199 --> 00:02:51.000
last known photos. At the time of her disappearance, Sandra
47
00:02:51.080 --> 00:02:53.680
was a fifty four year old white female with blue
48
00:02:53.719 --> 00:02:57.240
shoulder lengked hair. Her natural color is brown. She has
49
00:02:57.280 --> 00:03:00.280
brown eyes, as approximately five foot three inches tall and
50
00:03:00.360 --> 00:03:03.080
weighs about one hundred and fifty pounds. The search for
51
00:03:03.199 --> 00:03:08.719
Sandra was ongoing but limited. Now flashed forward to almost
52
00:03:08.759 --> 00:03:12.360
exactly one year later. This strange update to the case
53
00:03:12.599 --> 00:03:16.919
comes from the Madera County Sheriff's Office in Madera, California.
54
00:03:17.159 --> 00:03:20.400
It seems that a family from nearby Course Gold, California,
55
00:03:20.919 --> 00:03:24.520
experienced a bizarre broad daylight ghost sighting in the Madeir
56
00:03:24.560 --> 00:03:28.199
County Mountains on Wednesday, July twenty first, twenty twenty one.
57
00:03:30.120 --> 00:03:33.120
The event was so strange and disturbing that the Madera
58
00:03:33.240 --> 00:03:37.520
County Sheriff's Office felt the need to further investigate. It
59
00:03:37.520 --> 00:03:40.960
seems that a man named Jake Gorba, his wife Victoria,
60
00:03:41.360 --> 00:03:43.759
and their three children decided to take their four wheeler
61
00:03:43.840 --> 00:03:46.240
up to the shut Eye Peak on that faithful Wednesday.
62
00:03:47.319 --> 00:03:49.599
While on this family outing, they stopped to have something
63
00:03:49.599 --> 00:03:52.840
to eat beside the trail, and that's when things started
64
00:03:52.879 --> 00:03:56.960
to get strange. The couple's three year old son, Caden,
65
00:03:57.319 --> 00:04:02.159
suddenly began animatedly talking to someone near. He was just
66
00:04:02.280 --> 00:04:04.280
in our four wheeler and he was pointing out to
67
00:04:04.360 --> 00:04:06.960
a certain spot in the meadow, said his mom Victoria.
68
00:04:08.000 --> 00:04:11.879
The normally reserved and somewhat quiet Caden excitedly told his
69
00:04:11.960 --> 00:04:14.240
parents that they're in the meadow. By where the family
70
00:04:14.280 --> 00:04:17.279
was having lunch, was a woman lying face down with
71
00:04:17.319 --> 00:04:21.399
her legs straight up in the air. Furthermore, Caden stated
72
00:04:21.399 --> 00:04:23.480
that the woman was unable to speak or move and
73
00:04:23.560 --> 00:04:26.680
needed help. He began pleading with his parents to help
74
00:04:26.720 --> 00:04:31.199
this poor woman. He flat out told us, Mom, she's
75
00:04:31.240 --> 00:04:34.959
already dead, but she needs our help. And that's when
76
00:04:34.959 --> 00:04:37.600
I got the goose bumps. I was like, oh my gosh,
77
00:04:37.800 --> 00:04:41.879
Victoria said. He goes, yeah, there's a lady over in
78
00:04:41.920 --> 00:04:44.959
the meadow in a black shirt, blue jeans, and blue hair,
79
00:04:46.000 --> 00:04:50.000
and I got goose bumps, said Victoria. He says she
80
00:04:50.120 --> 00:04:52.879
needs our help, but she's dead and she's lying face
81
00:04:52.920 --> 00:04:55.519
down with her legs up. She can't talk to me,
82
00:04:55.800 --> 00:04:58.079
but she's over there. We need to go help her.
83
00:04:59.480 --> 00:05:02.360
So in order to call him Young Caden down, Jake
84
00:05:02.399 --> 00:05:04.639
and Victoria walked over and checked out the metal but
85
00:05:04.680 --> 00:05:10.319
saw absolutely nothing. Caden continued to insist. He kept saying,
86
00:05:10.399 --> 00:05:13.240
trust me, trust me, mom, And I was like, I
87
00:05:13.279 --> 00:05:16.800
trust you, I trust you. I believe you one hundred percent,
88
00:05:16.879 --> 00:05:21.839
said Victoria. Whatever Young Caden was experiencing so unnerved and
89
00:05:21.879 --> 00:05:24.399
spoke the rest of the family that the other members
90
00:05:24.439 --> 00:05:27.639
of the family all unanimously agreed time to put an
91
00:05:27.680 --> 00:05:29.920
early end to their day of adventure and make the
92
00:05:29.959 --> 00:05:34.480
thirty five mile drive back home to Course Gold. After
93
00:05:34.560 --> 00:05:38.000
arriving home the event still fresh in her mind, Victoria
94
00:05:38.079 --> 00:05:41.199
decided to post about the weird encounter on her Facebook profile.
95
00:05:42.120 --> 00:05:44.279
We put it on Facebook to see if anybody knew
96
00:05:44.279 --> 00:05:47.639
anything about this area and come to find out there
97
00:05:47.959 --> 00:05:50.519
was a lady missing with a description that he described
98
00:05:50.519 --> 00:05:53.480
to us within a five mile radius of where we were,
99
00:05:53.600 --> 00:05:58.079
said Victoria. Now viewers of this channel no. From our
100
00:05:58.079 --> 00:06:01.199
previous episode number seven, Hughes had gone missing in that
101
00:06:01.279 --> 00:06:05.120
area in June of twenty twenty. The encounter became even
102
00:06:05.160 --> 00:06:08.519
more chilling when, according to Victoria, three year old Caden's
103
00:06:08.600 --> 00:06:10.839
highly detailed description of the woman he had seen in
104
00:06:10.839 --> 00:06:14.079
the meadow was identical to the description of Sandra Hughes
105
00:06:14.439 --> 00:06:18.439
as given by the local authorities. He was very adamant
106
00:06:18.480 --> 00:06:20.920
that we needed to help her, and he described her
107
00:06:20.959 --> 00:06:23.879
down to blue hair. He said, she has a black shirt,
108
00:06:24.199 --> 00:06:27.879
blue jeans, and blue hair. Mom. That's the exact description
109
00:06:28.000 --> 00:06:32.120
of her when she went missing, said Victoria. Then Victoria
110
00:06:32.160 --> 00:06:34.800
went and searched online for Sandra Hughes and found some
111
00:06:34.839 --> 00:06:36.680
photographs that have been released as a part of the
112
00:06:36.680 --> 00:06:40.839
search effort a year prior. Victoria said she got goosebumps
113
00:06:40.839 --> 00:06:43.560
when Cayden readily recognized three of the photos of Sandra,
114
00:06:43.759 --> 00:06:46.319
identifying her as the woman he had seen in the field.
115
00:06:47.800 --> 00:06:50.680
As frait would have it, Madera County Sheriff Corporal Chris
116
00:06:50.720 --> 00:06:54.040
Williams just happened to see the Facebook post and found
117
00:06:54.079 --> 00:06:57.519
it intriguing, to say the least, so much so that
118
00:06:57.600 --> 00:07:00.439
he contacted Cayden's family to further investment. To gate the
119
00:07:00.519 --> 00:07:05.040
chilling account, Victoria said, the corporal in charge of her
120
00:07:05.079 --> 00:07:08.399
case actually reached out to us on Facebook and was like, Hey,
121
00:07:08.600 --> 00:07:10.680
we want more information and we want to bring you
122
00:07:10.720 --> 00:07:12.680
guys back up there and see if you could point
123
00:07:12.759 --> 00:07:16.399
us in the right direction. Corporal Williams has been investigating
124
00:07:16.439 --> 00:07:19.759
the disappearance of Sander Hughes since the beginning of the investigation.
125
00:07:21.319 --> 00:07:25.120
On the following Thursday, two Madera County Sheriff's deputies ventured
126
00:07:25.160 --> 00:07:27.759
back up to the meadow to investigate, with Jake and
127
00:07:27.800 --> 00:07:31.759
Caden coming along to point them in the right direction. Unfortunately,
128
00:07:32.120 --> 00:07:35.079
the deputies found nothing new by way of evidence, although
129
00:07:35.120 --> 00:07:40.279
the case remains open. If she was possibly a ghost
130
00:07:40.399 --> 00:07:42.839
looking for some help, I hope that he could have
131
00:07:42.879 --> 00:07:45.160
at least helped and maybe helped the family find her,
132
00:07:45.439 --> 00:07:48.040
because it's been a long time apparently since she's been gone.
133
00:07:48.199 --> 00:07:52.480
Victoria said. The four wheeler that Cayden and his family
134
00:07:52.560 --> 00:07:54.879
used while traveling in the mountains has now been nicknamed
135
00:07:54.879 --> 00:07:59.040
the Ghost Runner, and incidentally is also for sale. It's
136
00:07:59.079 --> 00:08:01.199
not believed that this pok encounter is the reason they
137
00:08:01.199 --> 00:08:03.439
put the vehicle up for sale, as the family says
138
00:08:03.439 --> 00:08:06.000
they will continue to go adventuring in the Madeira Mountains,
139
00:08:06.040 --> 00:08:08.519
but do admit there are a few spots now which
140
00:08:08.560 --> 00:08:13.079
they aren't anxious to visit again anytime soon, if at all.
141
00:08:13.279 --> 00:08:15.480
Local news reporters in the area reached out to the
142
00:08:15.480 --> 00:08:18.680
Madera County Sheriff's Office, who did confirm that they received
143
00:08:18.680 --> 00:08:21.319
a report of a possible sighting of some sort and
144
00:08:21.360 --> 00:08:23.040
they did go out to the location to search for
145
00:08:23.120 --> 00:08:27.680
any additional leads information. For now, the case remains open
146
00:08:27.680 --> 00:08:30.199
and hopes that this latest update regarding the spooking en
147
00:08:30.199 --> 00:08:34.720
counter may produce some new leads. Now. As strange as
148
00:08:34.759 --> 00:08:37.799
this new development is, it's not the first time that
149
00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:42.600
possibly a ghost helped solve the missing person's case. Back
150
00:08:42.639 --> 00:08:46.720
on February twenty first, nineteen ninety seven, the TV show
151
00:08:46.879 --> 00:08:50.639
Unsolved Mysteries aired a segment regarding a missing person's case
152
00:08:50.679 --> 00:08:54.919
from almost three years prior. This report told the story
153
00:08:54.960 --> 00:08:57.960
of twenty three year old Christine Scoobish and her three
154
00:08:58.039 --> 00:09:01.639
year old son, Nick, driving along Highway fifty in the
155
00:09:01.679 --> 00:09:05.000
Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in California when they vanished without
156
00:09:05.039 --> 00:09:09.799
a trace on June sixth, nineteen ninety four. Christine was
157
00:09:09.840 --> 00:09:13.320
a single mother and had recently completed paralegal training. She
158
00:09:13.360 --> 00:09:15.639
had plans of going to work for a prestigious law firm,
159
00:09:15.919 --> 00:09:17.799
and she helped make enough money so that she and
160
00:09:17.840 --> 00:09:22.600
her child's father could be married. Christine left her stepparents
161
00:09:22.679 --> 00:09:25.960
home near Sacramento on June fifth, nineteen ninety four, on
162
00:09:26.000 --> 00:09:29.600
her way to Carson City, Nevada. After failing to make
163
00:09:29.639 --> 00:09:33.799
contact with her family. After three days, her stepfather, Dave Stossenbach,
164
00:09:34.360 --> 00:09:37.480
reported her and her son missing on June eighth. The
165
00:09:37.480 --> 00:09:40.480
police took the missing person's report, but there were no
166
00:09:40.559 --> 00:09:45.440
initial leads in the case. Five days after Christine and
167
00:09:45.519 --> 00:09:48.960
Nick disappeared, however, a woman named Deborah Hoyt and her
168
00:09:49.039 --> 00:09:52.000
husband were driving along a Highway fifty around three am.
169
00:09:52.840 --> 00:09:55.039
The pair were on along overnight drive and had been
170
00:09:55.120 --> 00:09:59.080
joking and singing in order to keep each other away. Suddenly,
171
00:09:59.559 --> 00:10:02.840
dever what appeared to be a completely naked woman lying
172
00:10:02.879 --> 00:10:05.960
on the side of the road. The naked woman's face
173
00:10:06.039 --> 00:10:07.919
was turned toward the road and she was laying on
174
00:10:07.919 --> 00:10:10.799
her side with her knees slightly bent. She had one
175
00:10:10.879 --> 00:10:13.399
arm placed beneath her head and the other arm held
176
00:10:13.440 --> 00:10:17.759
over her head. The Hoitz were shocked beyond belief. They
177
00:10:17.759 --> 00:10:20.200
thought it must have been some sort of sick practical joke,
178
00:10:20.399 --> 00:10:23.240
or perhaps he would employ the carjack them had they stopped.
179
00:10:24.159 --> 00:10:27.639
Deborah floored the accelerator instead and sped down Highway fifty,
180
00:10:27.919 --> 00:10:30.679
not stopping until she arrived at the nearest phone booth,
181
00:10:30.799 --> 00:10:35.080
where she proceeded to call the police. In just minutes.
182
00:10:35.480 --> 00:10:37.639
Two Sharf's cards with the scene were deborn seeing the
183
00:10:37.679 --> 00:10:42.000
naked woman's body. However, unable to pinpoint the exact location,
184
00:10:42.279 --> 00:10:46.279
the deputies reported that they saw and found nothing. The
185
00:10:46.279 --> 00:10:50.000
next morning, though speculations began that the sighting had something
186
00:10:50.039 --> 00:10:52.320
to do with the disappearance of Christine and Nick, who
187
00:10:52.399 --> 00:10:56.120
were the most recently missing people from that area. Due
188
00:10:56.120 --> 00:11:00.320
to the insistence from the family, deputy Rich Strasser decided
189
00:11:00.360 --> 00:11:03.279
to go back and have a closer look. Strasser figured
190
00:11:03.279 --> 00:11:05.000
that it might be easier to spot anything out of
191
00:11:05.000 --> 00:11:08.919
the ordinary in the daylight. Deborah had indicated that a
192
00:11:08.960 --> 00:11:12.279
particularly dangerous stretch of Highway fifty, known as Bullyon Bend,
193
00:11:12.720 --> 00:11:16.600
was where the incident took place. As Strasser patrolled the area,
194
00:11:16.720 --> 00:11:19.120
he spotted a new looking child's tennis shoe on the
195
00:11:19.159 --> 00:11:22.639
side of the road. Immediately next to that spot and
196
00:11:22.679 --> 00:11:26.840
the shoulder of the road was a steep embankment. Strasser
197
00:11:26.879 --> 00:11:29.240
pulled over his cruiser to search the area more thoroughly,
198
00:11:29.279 --> 00:11:32.399
and sure enough, at the bottom of the embankment he
199
00:11:32.480 --> 00:11:37.120
spotted the twisted remains of Christine's car. He checked Christine
200
00:11:37.120 --> 00:11:39.759
and observed that she was dead and unfortunately had been
201
00:11:39.759 --> 00:11:43.759
that way for quite some time. The deputy then went
202
00:11:43.759 --> 00:11:46.200
around to the other side to check Nick, who was
203
00:11:46.240 --> 00:11:48.639
curled up in a fetal position in the passenger seat.
204
00:11:50.000 --> 00:11:52.320
Strasser assumed the worst and was sure that Nick was
205
00:11:52.360 --> 00:11:56.240
also dead. However, when he touched the little boy's neck
206
00:11:56.279 --> 00:11:59.519
to find a pulse, it appeared that Nick took a breath.
207
00:12:00.399 --> 00:12:04.039
Strasser immediately radioed for an ambulance. Little Nick had been
208
00:12:04.080 --> 00:12:06.679
a loan in the car for five days, yet he
209
00:12:06.759 --> 00:12:11.679
was somehow still clinging to life. Officials believed that sometime
210
00:12:11.720 --> 00:12:15.080
around two am on June sixth, Christine must have fallen
211
00:12:15.120 --> 00:12:18.200
asleep at the wheel, the car veered off the road
212
00:12:18.200 --> 00:12:20.840
and plunged to the bottom of the ditch, striking a tree.
213
00:12:21.919 --> 00:12:25.200
Due to the embankment being so steep, other drivers drove
214
00:12:25.320 --> 00:12:28.559
right past the accident seened for days, unaware that it
215
00:12:28.600 --> 00:12:31.759
was just over the side of the road. It was
216
00:12:31.840 --> 00:12:34.960
later determined that Christine had been killed instantly on impact
217
00:12:35.000 --> 00:12:37.799
with the tree. To your old Nick was all long,
218
00:12:37.919 --> 00:12:39.720
with no way out and no one to talk to.
219
00:12:41.000 --> 00:12:43.679
Christine's mother says that she believes that little Nick spent
220
00:12:43.759 --> 00:12:46.759
the time talking to his mother, unaware that she was dead.
221
00:12:47.960 --> 00:12:51.200
Against all odds, he survived five days of intense heat
222
00:12:51.240 --> 00:12:54.480
and four nights of cold, trapped within the twisted remains
223
00:12:54.480 --> 00:12:57.679
of the car. Doctors who examined Nick stated that he
224
00:12:57.759 --> 00:13:00.759
was in such bad shape that he would slightly die
225
00:13:00.840 --> 00:13:03.200
within a couple of hours had he not been found
226
00:13:03.279 --> 00:13:06.240
when he was. Had he not been found when he was,
227
00:13:07.879 --> 00:13:10.919
the strange encounter that saved Nick's life seems to defy
228
00:13:11.039 --> 00:13:14.519
any rational explanation. If Debora had not seen the naked
229
00:13:14.559 --> 00:13:16.799
woman lying on the side of the road, Nick would
230
00:13:16.799 --> 00:13:21.519
have not survived. Now it's absolutely impossible for Christine to
231
00:13:21.600 --> 00:13:24.240
have been the naked woman. She was still fully clothed
232
00:13:24.279 --> 00:13:27.120
and wearing her seatbelt when found, and the medical examiner
233
00:13:27.159 --> 00:13:31.039
stated that she was most likely killed on impact. Deborah
234
00:13:31.039 --> 00:13:33.240
Hoyt is one hundred percent certain that she saw a
235
00:13:33.320 --> 00:13:36.200
naked woman on the side of the road. Both she
236
00:13:36.360 --> 00:13:40.159
and Christine's family believe it was Christine's spirit who saved
237
00:13:40.240 --> 00:13:43.480
Nick that day. The spirit had apparently appeared in the
238
00:13:43.559 --> 00:13:47.840
nude in order to draw attention. Nick years later, as
239
00:13:47.879 --> 00:13:52.120
an adult, was interviewed on a television show Paranormal Witness.
240
00:13:52.679 --> 00:13:55.919
He remembers seeing a bright light surrounding the car following
241
00:13:55.960 --> 00:13:59.440
the accident. To this day, he believes that his mother
242
00:13:59.559 --> 00:14:02.519
was watching over him following the accident and helped him
243
00:14:02.559 --> 00:14:06.559
to be rescued. The show also revealed that Christine's aunt
244
00:14:06.639 --> 00:14:10.519
had several dreams or premonitions about the accident before Christine
245
00:14:10.519 --> 00:14:14.120
and Nick were even reported missing. She dreamed of seeing
246
00:14:14.159 --> 00:14:17.080
them lying in their car in a ditch. She also
247
00:14:17.120 --> 00:14:20.519
saw the number sixteen in the dream, which turned out
248
00:14:20.559 --> 00:14:23.320
to be the number for the mile marker nearest the
249
00:14:23.399 --> 00:14:28.039
accident's site. Well, there you have it. What do you
250
00:14:28.080 --> 00:14:30.759
think about the apparition that little Kayden observed which she
251
00:14:30.879 --> 00:14:33.919
identified as Sandra Hughes, even down to the color of
252
00:14:33.960 --> 00:14:37.080
her hair, which was dyed blue when she went missing.
253
00:14:38.279 --> 00:14:41.440
Is it possible that Sandra's spirit is attempting to communicate
254
00:14:41.480 --> 00:14:44.120
with a living in a desire that it remains be
255
00:14:44.159 --> 00:14:47.080
found and her friend and loved ones have closure. It
256
00:14:47.159 --> 00:14:50.039
certainly appears that way. And what about the two other
257
00:14:50.080 --> 00:14:53.799
times she was spotted by hikers? Was that actually her
258
00:14:54.440 --> 00:14:59.039
or was that an apparition? Now, as a result of
259
00:14:59.080 --> 00:15:02.720
this strange update an unusual circumstance, Bill and I are
