ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
In this episode, I'm taking one of my favorite original tracks and transforming it into a groovy progressive house masterpiece! Using industry-standard virtual synths like Arturia, Serum, and Sylenth 1, I'll show you how to remix and reimagine your own music by increasing the BPM from 118 to 128 and completely restructuring the track with a fresh progressive house energy. The original track "Mikas - You are Only Bound By What You Believe in" featured meticulously crafted and mixed driving percussions, but I felt it had serious potential as a progressive house anthem. In this live tutorial, I'll demonstrate my complete workflow for taking an existing template and giving it new life—from clearing out MIDI elements and designing a powerful new bass to layering synth melodies and adding evolving effects that make this track absolutely pump!Whether you're a Logic Pro X user looking to master template-based production, an aspiring progressive house producer, or someone interested in music remixing techniques, this tutorial walks you through every step of the creative process. You'll learn professional mixing, arrangement strategies, and how to use legendary synths like Sylenth 1 to create the thick, warm tones that define modern progressive house music.**What You'll Learn:**- How to effectively reuse and modify previous music templates- Techniques for increasing BPM and adapting tracks to new genres- Recording and layering bass sequences in Logic Pro X- Creating counter-melodies and musical accents with synthesizers- Professional mixing and arrangement techniques for progressive house- Working with Arturia, Serum, and Sylenth 1 for rich synth sounds- Building evolving effect layers for dynamic progression**TIMESTAMPS:**0:00 Introduction & Reusing Templates from Previous Tracks0:31 Story: Submitting Music to Anjunadeep1:28 Listening to the Original Track - Mikas "You are Only Bound By What You Believe in"4:46 Starting Fresh: Deleting MIDI & Keeping Sylenth 15:12 Working with Logic Pro X Templates6:20 Recording Deep Toms Sequence10:20 Recording & Editing Bass Keys15:07 Layering & Exploring Bass Sounds18:11 Recording Counter-Melody Pad in MIDI24:00 Adding Synth Polyphony for Musical Accents28:00 Creating an Evolving Effect Layer31:08 Mixing & Arranging All Parts32:27 Final Thoughts**GET THE TEMPLATE:**Download the Progressive Banger Logic Pro X Template used in this tutorial: https://www.wemakedancemusic.com/en/progressive-banger-logic-pro-x-template-live-electronic-music-369This template includes all the elements demonstrated in the video and is ready to customize with your own sounds and ideas!---**About This Series:**This is Episode 369 of our Live Electronic Music Production Tutorial series, where we dive deep into real-world music production workflows.
