Gen-X Multiplex: The Prequel - Episode 34 - August 1989

August is Artificial Intelligence Month at the Multiplex, as Matt B and Brian P engage in full-scale "clone war" and employ dueling chatbots to help them review a slew of end-of-summer 1989 dumper releases. Join them for their retroactive takes on the Steve Martin domestic comedy PARENTHOOD, the Sly Stallone prison thriller LOCK UP, the Richard Dreyfuss racetrack farce LET IT RIDE, and the John Hughes/John Candy team-up UNCLE BUCK. Then, stay tuned as the boyz get extra "synthetic" with a review of ALIEN: ROMULUS and their rankings of the entire ALIEN franchise. Summer is winding down, and so is the Multiplex in this raucous, AI-assisted penultimate episode. Satisfy your existential shenanigan cravings and taste the August 1989 absurdity!
