ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
This week on Geeks Corner, hosts Mr. Daps and Caitie Bear kick off the show celebrating the anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation's 1987 debut before diving into a packed slate of Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars news:
Zombie Cap & Spooky Additions at Oogie Boogie Bash: The hosts react to Zombie Cap’s triumphant return during D23 night at Oogie Boogie Bash. Caitie advocates for more genuinely scary elements at DCA Halloween events—such as bringing back Werewolf by Night or leveraging Villains Grove—while Mr. Daps offers ideas on how to balance higher-intensity scare zones with family-friendly crowds.
Bluey’s Best Day Ever Update: The duo discusses the newly streamlined 22-minute Bluey's Best Day Ever show at Fantasyland Theatre, which condenses the original two-show format into a "greatest hits" performance. They explore long-term ideas for Bluey’s presence at the resort, including a dedicated mini-land or expanded interactive play area.
Darkwing Duck Returns to Disney+: Mr. Daps and Caitie break down the newly announced Darkwing Duck revival series starring Mark Hamill as Drake Mallard/Darkwing Duck, Seth Rogen as Launchpad McQuack, Lizzy Caplan as Gosalyn, and Dan Stevens as Glade McTowers.
Skywalker Saga & Future Star Wars Movies: Prompted by a live viewer poll on whether the Skywalker Saga should continue, the hosts debate the future of Star Wars films under writer/producer Simon Kinberg and director Jon Watts. They discuss high-stakes sagas vs. lower-stakes stories like Skeleton Crew, before wrapping up with live chat Q&A about park restrooms and resort updates.
