Speaker 2: Loop a card show in your pocket?
00:00:30
Speaker 3: Already?
00:00:50
Speaker 4: All right? I good this time? Yeah, finally my mic works. All right. Fish Pripees Live Jeopardy Edition presented by Loop. We have I'm your host.
00:01:02
Speaker 5: Noah Burger.
00:01:02
Speaker 4: We have Wow, I just forgot your name, Isaac as one of our contestants. Eli is a contestant this time. Lewis Adio Weiss. Alex Carver is our quiz master today, Daniel Rodriguez. We also have nix takes here from Twitter Nick Alvarez. I'm gonna throw it over to Alex to explain the categories, and then Eli to explain the rules, and then we will get started.
00:01:31
Speaker 6: I don't know, why don't I hop in first, and then we'll give it to Alex when we show.
00:01:34
Speaker 5: The border, right, you're in charge.
00:01:35
Speaker 6: So for people, this is episode seven. This is the first one where I'm not the quiz master, so well you'll notice some differences for this one time only. They wanted to give me an opportunity to compete as a contestant, just like Lewis, Isaac, Nick, and Daniel will be the five of us as contestants, and the substitute quiz master in my place was Alex Carver, who I trust unconditionally. The questions will be a bit different than usual, but it's the same amount of questions in total, and it's the same quality stuff. It should be a great time with all of us because Lewis and Nick first time for you guys on as contestants on here. Just to be clear, we use the private chat as our buzzer system. So just to give it an example, the question goes up, Noah reads out the entire question, and then Noah, for example, just give us a queue in the chat. He just puts in some numbers and then you just type in your initials if you want to buzz in with the correct answer. So just like Jeopardy, if you get it wrong, then you lose all the points, so only buzz in if you actually know the answer and you're ready to go. But as practice yet, just put in your initials into that private chat on the side of the screen. That's how you buzz in. That's why it makes sense of it. Only one buzz per question, so you got to wait until the host gives you the queue. He's in control, that's Noah, and then you're willing to go. As we know, we have our fun features here that if you get the question right, Craig Mish will let you know, and when you screw up, Tommy Huddon rips it apart, so that continues to be part of the system. I'm still operating the board even though I'm a contestant. It's kind of messy. It's gonna be a little bit clunkier than usual because of that, but I think it's still gonna work. Alex set up two boards for us first round. All the point totals from this will double when we go to double Jeopardy after the break. Already have the five of us set up. And other than that, Oh, the last thing I will put it in our chat is that it's a Wednesday. We've been doing these every Wednesday for a number of weeks now, but I have a conflict next Wenesday. We're gonna reschedule next week's show to be either Tuesday night at the same time or Thursday night. So just let us know in the chat what do you do like like for it to be what's what's better for you guys, so we could still get our great audience showing out and participating.
00:03:55
Speaker 3: If you are.
00:03:56
Speaker 6: Watching along on YouTube on Twitch and you put in the answers, you can follow along and enter your answers along with the rest of us, and I will show them on the screen if you get them right. So be sure to just stay involved and try to outsmart us in the chat if you're able to do so. With that said, we can reveal the big board for the first round and Alex as our quiz master, get us up to speed on these categories.
00:04:21
Speaker 7: Well.
00:04:21
Speaker 8: First of all, I want to say thank you for trusting me with this very prestigious board to put these questions together for you guys, I think will be challenging, but questions that I think everybody here will know, as Avid Marlin's fans and media members as well. The other first thing I got to say is that this wasn't just me, This was also Daniel Alvarez who had a very big hand in making this board. I was confirmed with him for almost a week on most of these questions, so we put together something that we think kind of intersects our personality. So what I mean by that is there's a lot of us in these questions, So keep that in mind as you're answering that me and Daniel Avarie together made the sport. So if you know us, you may know a lot of these answers. The first round, you guys will have nineteen ninety three Marlins as the first category. This is all about things or events or players or coaches or people or anything else relating to the nineteen ninety three team. Pretty easy, MiLB affiliates, pretty self explanatory. This could be past affiliates or current affiliates, so keep that on in mind. Old Stopping Grounds is everything about the old park that was a Marland Stadium from nineteen ninety three through twenty and eleven, So it could be anything about those years, anything about events that happened there, anything about the park.
00:05:37
Speaker 5: As a whole.
00:05:38
Speaker 8: And then our last one, of course, is player centric, so it's Gary Sheffield. Of course, we're just coming off the Hall of Fame. Sheffield unfortunately didn't gain any round, but the good news is he didn't lose any ground. Two more years on the ballot, so hoping to see that old Florida Marlins had.
00:05:51
Speaker 7: In the Hall.
00:05:52
Speaker 8: Someday he's our only shot, so I wanted to put him on here. So Sheffield's your last one.
00:05:58
Speaker 4: All right, I guess we'll start with I guess our boss, Eli, you can choose the first question.
00:06:07
Speaker 6: The man, oh boy, well, the man of the week, I guess is a Hall of Fame candidate. Let's do Gary Sheffield for two hundred.
00:06:18
Speaker 4: Gary Sheffield for two hundred. Sheffield was known primarily as a right fielder, but he began his Marlin's career at this position.
00:06:30
Speaker 7: Nick, what two is third base?
00:06:38
Speaker 4: Third base? That is correct?
00:06:43
Speaker 6: The thing I realized is because I don't have the answers to this, so I have to wait for you guys to for Noah to say correct or incorrect.
00:06:51
Speaker 4: That's a good point. I'm gonna have to remember that. All right, Nick, you can choose the next question.
00:06:58
Speaker 7: All right, hm hmm, Let's go with the old stomping grounds. For four hundred.
00:07:06
Speaker 4: Old stopping grounds for four hundred. In order to transition the old park from football to baseball, these items were retracted behind the outfield walls.
00:07:18
Speaker 9: Oh wait, I was searching for the word searching for the word no searching, excuse me?
00:07:36
Speaker 6: No, in my mind, Isaac, what are the seats?
00:07:43
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:07:47
Speaker 10: Seats? I was sticking like locker room or something like that.
00:07:52
Speaker 7: Yeah, it kind of hard.
00:07:54
Speaker 5: I was gonna say end zone or like I mess up?
00:07:56
Speaker 10: Yeah, like a goal post.
00:07:58
Speaker 4: Yeah, are right, Isaac? Choose the next question.
00:08:04
Speaker 5: Let's go Minor league affiliates for four.
00:08:06
Speaker 4: Please, Minor league affiliates for four hundred. Location of the Marlins Triple A affiliate from two thousand and three to two thousand eight.
00:08:16
Speaker 7: Nick, what is the new or I know it's New Orleans.
00:08:25
Speaker 5: Incorrect?
00:08:26
Speaker 7: No, no, damn incorrect?
00:08:31
Speaker 4: Uh me, Eli, Eli?
00:08:35
Speaker 6: Where is Albuquerque?
00:08:39
Speaker 4: Get Lewis? You have to wait for me to put a prompt. I was just going to say it right after we finished this question. Okay, right, you have to wait for me to put the prompt then then yeah.
00:08:52
Speaker 8: So wait wait for it and then put your initials in.
00:08:55
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, all right, all right, Eli, use the next question.
00:09:01
Speaker 6: I like this category. I think I'm gonna do well in this category. So let's see Minor league affiliates for two hundred.
00:09:06
Speaker 4: Oh boy, Minor League affiliates for two hundred. Name of the current home of the Beloit Skycart.
00:09:13
Speaker 5: I don't know that's a two hundred question, you.
00:09:15
Speaker 6: LII Hey, what is ABC supply Stadium?
00:09:20
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:09:24
Speaker 7: That is not a question. That's not a question.
00:09:28
Speaker 8: They just moved in to August, so I mean, oh, come on, yeah, I thought that one was pretty easy.
00:09:37
Speaker 4: Anyways, that was a good question. I like that one.
00:09:39
Speaker 7: It was a good question question.
00:09:42
Speaker 6: Let's stick with it. A Minor League affiliates for six hundred, please.
00:09:49
Speaker 4: Started his state side career by hitting two sixty eight, three twenty eight, three eighty two for the two thousand and one single A Caine County Cougars.
00:09:59
Speaker 5: What kind of not census?
00:10:00
Speaker 4: This affiliates ELI.
00:10:04
Speaker 6: Just barely ahead of Lewis is Miguel Cabrera.
00:10:11
Speaker 4: It's correct, Handley, that was sort of he was in the.
00:10:16
Speaker 11: Red Sox.
00:10:19
Speaker 6: Just based on the year.
00:10:20
Speaker 10: I guess.
00:10:20
Speaker 5: I don't think he was even signed then. Actually, he could have been ELI.
00:10:26
Speaker 6: Minor League Affiliates for eight.
00:10:29
Speaker 4: Trying to sweep the category. Marlin's short season single A affiliates were in this US state for the entirety of the franchise, ISAAC.
00:10:41
Speaker 5: Short season New York.
00:10:44
Speaker 10: What is not?
00:10:46
Speaker 12: I was about to say Florida, but short seasons? Okay, all right, Miami, I remember Beatavia.
00:10:52
Speaker 4: That's it, Batavia.
00:10:57
Speaker 5: Let's go, let's go hold something. Grounds for two please.
00:11:03
Speaker 4: These events were commonplace at the old park. There has somehow been one at the new stadium.
00:11:10
Speaker 5: Whois what are rainouts?
00:11:13
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:11:15
Speaker 5: Good?
00:11:15
Speaker 8: Yeah?
00:11:17
Speaker 11: I mean they literally used to play on the board. How many rainouts at the stadium? Like even at the new stadium.
00:11:22
Speaker 5: I was thinking concert, soccer games, football games.
00:11:25
Speaker 10: I was sticking like monster jam for some reason was like.
00:11:28
Speaker 5: Probably I think I was.
00:11:35
Speaker 4: Concerned one of you guys was going to say football games, because that also would have fit.
00:11:40
Speaker 5: I wouldn't delay an event, but whatever.
00:11:42
Speaker 7: Yeah, I was. I was there for that opening day raindelay, as was I.
00:11:48
Speaker 8: Trip.
00:11:50
Speaker 4: That's really funny. Sign All right, Luis, she's the next question.
00:11:55
Speaker 11: All right, I'll do old stomping grounds for six hundred.
00:11:58
Speaker 4: Old stomping grounds for six hundred. In two thousand and two, this player hit a home run three hundred and forty five plus feet into the right field stands of the old Ballpark, despite breaking his bat.
00:12:12
Speaker 11: Who is Barry Bonds?
00:12:14
Speaker 4: You didn't wait for me to call on you?
00:12:16
Speaker 8: He was first though.
00:12:19
Speaker 11: I sent it as soon as you sent the number my bed.
00:12:21
Speaker 4: I'm we're gonna give you the points on that because that is correct. But next but this is a warning. Next time, I will not accept it.
00:12:29
Speaker 11: I got you, all right.
00:12:30
Speaker 5: I thought I had to be a Marlins player.
00:12:31
Speaker 4: Man, all right?
00:12:34
Speaker 5: Gary Sheffield for four hundred.
00:12:37
Speaker 4: Gary Sheffield for four hundred. Sheffield was drafted by and spent the first four years of his MLB career with this team, Milwaukee Brewers.
00:12:51
Speaker 5: That is correct, Oh god, I went to early.
00:12:55
Speaker 4: Yes he did.
00:12:57
Speaker 5: Drafted as a shortstop, all right, Luis Due Sheffield for six hundred.
00:13:03
Speaker 4: Sheffield for six hundred. Sheffield's Marlins tenure came to an end in nineteen ninety eight when he was traded to the Dodgers along with Charles Johnson, Bobby Bonilla, Jim Eisenwife, and Manual Barrios. For these two players, Isaac.
00:13:23
Speaker 5: Mike Piazza, I know one of them. I'm gonna forget the other one. It was Mike Piazza and Todd dle Zele. Yeah, I get it.
00:13:40
Speaker 11: Then they went to the Mets.
00:13:42
Speaker 4: Wheel of Fortune is big on pronunciation, and this is Jeopardy. Thank you, damn y All right, Isaac.
00:13:51
Speaker 5: Let's go nineteen ninety three Marlins for two.
00:13:53
Speaker 4: Hundred, nineteen ninety three Marlins for two hundred led the nineteen ninety three squad in eels and was second in baseball to Kenny Lofton.
00:14:05
Speaker 5: Luis, who is Chuck Carr?
00:14:08
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:14:10
Speaker 6: Damn oh, I would have got that wrong.
00:14:14
Speaker 5: Who would you have said?
00:14:15
Speaker 6: I was thinking Quilvio Verez.
00:14:18
Speaker 8: But he oh, I think he was four ninety four, ninety five was his first year. Yeah, he wasn't on the ninety three teen.
00:14:26
Speaker 4: All right, Eli, Oh, that's Lewis, Louis Lewis.
00:14:30
Speaker 5: Wow, all right, I will do Sheffield again for eight hundred.
00:14:34
Speaker 4: That is the daily double.
00:14:37
Speaker 1: Let me get that music, and Rojas is on his way to second with an RBI double.
00:14:44
Speaker 4: All right, Lewis, you have fourteen hundred points to play with. You can bet as much or as little as you like.
00:14:53
Speaker 11: I will bet seven hundred.
00:14:55
Speaker 4: Seven hundred is the bet? Eli, Please reveal the question.
00:15:01
Speaker 6: No, all right, hold on, there we go.
00:15:07
Speaker 9: Sheffield, right, yeah, he wagered not.
00:15:11
Speaker 4: Deffield was a main contributor to the marlins nineteen ninety seven Game three World Series win over Cleveland with this many RBIs.
00:15:21
Speaker 11: That's such a hard question. What is three?
00:15:29
Speaker 4: That is incorrect?
00:15:32
Speaker 5: Two?
00:15:33
Speaker 6: He has four? That's just nope.
00:15:35
Speaker 5: I thought yeah, and he hit under two hundred in that series too.
00:15:41
Speaker 7: All right, back to Earth, Louise.
00:15:46
Speaker 8: I think one with the groundout and the other one was a sackfly, so it inhibited his average. But he did have five rbiyes in that game.
00:15:52
Speaker 4: All right, Louise, choose the next question.
00:15:56
Speaker 11: I will do Old Stomping Grounds for eight hundred. At the risk of going in the negatives.
00:16:04
Speaker 4: The old Stadium went by eight different names during the Marlins tenure there, including this one for a very short time during the ninety six season.
00:16:18
Speaker 5: Luis, is it God?
00:16:22
Speaker 11: Is it pro Player Stadium?
00:16:24
Speaker 5: I know it was Pro Player Park at one point, but I probably got that wrong.
00:16:28
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:16:30
Speaker 5: Oh wow, player park?
00:16:34
Speaker 10: Oh oh wow.
00:16:38
Speaker 8: There's two answers, two answers intermixed, and that because he did say stadium, but the answer is park. So that's up to you if you want to give it to him.
00:16:45
Speaker 5: No, yeah, I don't know.
00:16:46
Speaker 4: I'll give it to him.
00:16:49
Speaker 10: I don't know.
00:16:50
Speaker 4: No what, Hang on, this is a I've had trouble. I'm having a memory issue with this. Was it at one point called Pro Player Stadium?
00:17:02
Speaker 5: Yes? It was literally on the time two thousand and four and five?
00:17:08
Speaker 4: Then no, oh sorry, I'm like negative one hundred. Now, Eli, if you could deduct those points.
00:17:22
Speaker 5: I had a Lewis Brinson streak and now I'm back to earth.
00:17:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, Lewis, you can choose the next question.
00:17:34
Speaker 5: Sympathy. But nineteen ninety three Marlins for four.
00:17:36
Speaker 4: Hundred, nineteen ninety three Marlins for four hundred, first ever Marlins road opponent.
00:17:42
Speaker 6: Oh, this is a four hundred questions.
00:17:48
Speaker 11: I'm thinking the answer.
00:17:51
Speaker 6: I have no idea.
00:17:53
Speaker 8: I mean, it's it's pretty self explanatory if you think about who the next maybe this is too.
00:17:59
Speaker 7: Who who is the San Francisco Giants?
00:18:01
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:18:03
Speaker 5: Wow?
00:18:05
Speaker 11: Oh, that's right.
00:18:07
Speaker 8: Against the Dodgers, and then they went out west and played the.
00:18:11
Speaker 5: Home run as a Giant came against the Marlins.
00:18:13
Speaker 4: That's right, All right, Nick, let's go with ninety three Marlins for six hundred ninety three Marlins for six hundred, Marlin's home run and RBI leader in nineteen ninety three, went on to have a presence in the media. Daniel Rodriguez, who is this? That is correct?
00:18:37
Speaker 5: Let's go finally first, Oh, baby, Daniel? Would he go on the board? Kid?
00:18:44
Speaker 13: Baby?
00:18:45
Speaker 4: The uh ninety three for eight ninety three Marlins for eight hundred started the second game in Marlins franchise history.
00:19:02
Speaker 7: Nick, who is Chris Hammond?
00:19:06
Speaker 4: That is incorrect? Isaac?
00:19:10
Speaker 5: Who is Jack Armstrong?
00:19:12
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:19:13
Speaker 5: Who gave up on his first home run?
00:19:15
Speaker 11: Too?
00:19:16
Speaker 4: Oh all right, Isaac? Choose from the one thousands.
00:19:24
Speaker 12: We always have them gone by this point. Let's go Old Stomping for one thousand?
00:19:30
Speaker 4: The player. This player hit what is estimated to be the longest home run ever at the Old Park, originally measured at five hundred and twenty nine feet. Isaac, who is that is correct? Yes?
00:19:48
Speaker 7: I had one?
00:19:51
Speaker 5: Oh thank god? Yeah, like halfway up the upper deck in the blue tart.
00:19:55
Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, the blutart.
00:19:57
Speaker 5: Let's go, all right, we ended.
00:20:00
Speaker 7: Up hitting one like five hundred and three feet or something like that.
00:20:05
Speaker 5: Yeah, stanton with it.
00:20:05
Speaker 8: That's why I looked care Yeah, the galaraga one would they dumped it down after he hit it, and I think it's like a officially estimated at like four ninety eight, but it went way further.
00:20:16
Speaker 5: Than Yeah, let's go Gary for a.
00:20:20
Speaker 4: Gary Sheffield for one thousand. Sheffield hit forty two home runs and led the NL and OPS in ninety six, but he did not win the NL MVP. This player did.
00:20:35
Speaker 5: That's a good question. That's the best one here so far.
00:20:40
Speaker 11: Nineteen ninety six.
00:20:41
Speaker 4: I think my favorite part of this whole thing is watching Alex just sit there and smile while he watches all these guys.
00:20:50
Speaker 8: It's easier on this kinde of things. I'll say that I kind of think the eli's job.
00:20:54
Speaker 6: Now, it's a great job.
00:20:56
Speaker 10: Yes, I can't be that obvious.
00:21:03
Speaker 4: Give you guys ten more seconds. Five seconds played the countdown clock of myself.
00:21:16
Speaker 7: Mm hmmm.
00:21:19
Speaker 4: Daniel Rodriguez, all.
00:21:21
Speaker 10: Right, let me see. I remember reading something I don't ninety eight winner and Piazza is close Garry Bonds. Who is can a comedy or Camatti?
00:21:36
Speaker 13: Oh?
00:21:36
Speaker 5: He googled that for sure, something like that.
00:21:39
Speaker 10: I don't know. I remember Piazza got like second.
00:21:43
Speaker 8: It is Jim Kamanatty is the correct answer to that question.
00:21:46
Speaker 5: Correct?
00:21:48
Speaker 10: I messed up the last name Comati.
00:21:52
Speaker 8: By the way. First of all, rest in peace to Ken Cammanetti as well as Tony Gwenn. And again, like I said, if you guys know me, you may have gotten included in that. I used to live in San Diego for eleven years and know that very well.
00:22:03
Speaker 6: So yeah, some remember it was ninety I knew he won one I didn't think was ninety six.
00:22:08
Speaker 10: I thought was earlier that I know Piazza got like runner up or he won.
00:22:13
Speaker 11: Ninety seven would have been the year you were thinking of, though.
00:22:15
Speaker 8: Ninety seven was the stupid three sixty two batting average year for Piazza never won an MVP.
00:22:20
Speaker 2: Though.
00:22:22
Speaker 10: All right, Daniel, let's do ninety three Marlands.
00:22:27
Speaker 8: This one before you click it well before you announced the question. I will be very impressed if one of you gets this answer right, go ahead.
00:22:35
Speaker 4: Wasn't it not the Marlins first pick in the nineteen ninety two MLB Expansion Draft in the team's top prospect according to Baseball America seven games, sixteen at bats and a zero batting average for Florida.
00:22:50
Speaker 7: You lie oh that one.
00:22:54
Speaker 5: That's fair.
00:22:55
Speaker 7: I put my name out there.
00:22:56
Speaker 4: You didn't do it after.
00:22:57
Speaker 7: I'm not sure caboutation, but I.
00:23:02
Speaker 6: Have a name. Who is Nigel Wilson?
00:23:05
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:23:06
Speaker 3: Oh?
00:23:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, wow, I'm good. Wasn't it not? Am I thinking? Not the first pick? Was it not Charles Johnson?
00:23:15
Speaker 10: Wait?
00:23:15
Speaker 5: What am I confused?
00:23:16
Speaker 4: No?
00:23:19
Speaker 11: He was the first player?
00:23:21
Speaker 8: Oh yeah, this is the expansion draft from nineteen ninety two. First Marlon pretty much is what the question is.
00:23:29
Speaker 12: And Alex, thank god you like told us that because I would have said Garlis Johnson.
00:23:36
Speaker 6: Okay, all right, question clearly question. No matter what, Isaac is going to double jeopardy. Oh no, Actually there's a chance if he buzzes in first and gets us wrong and then I get this right and I jumping out of him.
00:23:49
Speaker 5: Okay, Eli, jesus good math win.
00:23:53
Speaker 4: The two thousand and nine Jacksonville Sons won the Double A Southern League championship with this current will be manager at the helm I'm looking.
00:24:02
Speaker 5: I got it, Yeah, Eli, I got it.
00:24:05
Speaker 6: Who is Brandon Hyde?
00:24:07
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:24:09
Speaker 5: That's a good question too. I remember, like I shouldn't on that.
00:24:13
Speaker 4: All right. At the end of the first board, our leader is Isaac Azuit with three thousand, six hundred, followed closely by Eli with three thy two hundred, then Daniel with sixteen hundred, Louis with minus one hundred, and Nick with negative six hundred. We'll give Eli a second to switch everything over. We'll probably show an AD and then we will we will be back for Double Jeopardy.
00:24:42
Speaker 6: Not just any ad, the ad from our wonderful sponsors at Loop.

00:25:21

00:25:29
Speaker 8: Yeah, sure. Once Eli gets the board up, I can roll through them for you guys.
00:25:33
Speaker 6: Yeah, just stall for the committed question self explanatory.
00:25:38
Speaker 8: I think I'm impressed by all of you. Guys, some of the stuff that you knew because, like when I was going through it, I'm like, Okay, this may be too hard, that may be too hard. But I think you guys all had a clue about each question that.
00:25:49
Speaker 10: Was a confused by the rain delay. One on the old stopping grounds.
00:25:59
Speaker 4: That's an event officially, it's in the absolutely there.
00:26:04
Speaker 5: I respectfully disagree.
00:26:08
Speaker 4: All right, Alex, can you explain the categories?
00:26:12
Speaker 5: Yeah?
00:26:12
Speaker 8: Sure, So bringing back audience questions, you guys sent all your questions in through Twitter or through the form. ELI did not look at the ones sent in through the form, so he promises us, and we can definitely take his word for that. So yeah, they're gonna be from there, and then from the couple that I received through Twitter, DMS. Good stuff in there. Appreciate everybody sending those in. And then coaches, this can be any coach throughout the course of the franchise. I will say this is kind of heavier centric on newer stuff rather than older stuff, but there is some older stuff as well. MLB ballparks these are parks where Marlin's events happened that are not a home park. I don't believe any of them are home parks. Maybe one of them is is is related to the new park, But I don't think so, maybe I'm wrong. Then the last question or the last category is our player centric again and it's Miguel Rojas. And as I said before, a lot of influence from our buddy Daniel Alvarez on that category and all of these categories, but especially that one. So how fun?
00:27:16
Speaker 4: All right, Alex, all right? To start us off, we will have Isaac, our current leader, choose the first question.
00:27:26
Speaker 12: I just know that I always lead in the first after the first Jeffrey, and it always ends up south.
00:27:30
Speaker 5: Let's go audience for four.
00:27:32
Speaker 4: Please audience questions for four hundred. This picture owns the Marlins all time record for complete games with fifteen scented by Sean malerk Leric.

Speaker 5: Really?
00:28:20
Speaker 13: Wow?
00:28:21
Speaker 5: Two thousand and five, only twenty two games, he's probably through. I think they're like nine or ten complete games that.
00:28:25
Speaker 6: Year, that's right?
00:28:26
Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm thinking like Josh Johnson one.
00:28:28
Speaker 5: Huge season, rarely completely games.
00:28:33
Speaker 12: I don't know Josh Johnson through four complete games, by the way, Yeah he barely did.

00:28:40
Speaker 11: I will do MLB ballparks for four hundred.
00:28:44

00:29:25

00:29:32
Speaker 10: Nice?
00:29:33

00:30:15
Speaker 5: I knew he's not on the Bulls anymore. Yeah, I feel he's on that. I can't take a chance.
00:30:24
Speaker 6: I think I know, but I don't know the answer. He changes team, so I know he's played for multiple teams this season, so I don't even I don't really trust the answer. I respect. I just said, I love our audience, but I have the answer, Isaac.
00:30:41
Speaker 5: What are the Grizzlies the Memphis? What are the Memphis Grizzlies?
00:30:44

00:32:30
Speaker 6: Let's actually switch it up. But back to mcguil rojas.

00:37:58
Speaker 4: All right?
00:37:58
Speaker 12: Isaac, My god, this is so much nice not having Daniel Alvarez coaches for sixteen.
00:38:04
Speaker 7: Please, it's so much easier.
00:38:07
Speaker 6: There is a daily double on this board, right, Alex, Yes there is.
00:38:10
Speaker 8: There is.
00:38:11

00:39:14
Speaker 7: I thought it was Candlestick.
00:39:18
Speaker 4: We need the full name.
00:39:20
Speaker 7: Oh, you gotta be kidding me.
00:39:23
Speaker 8: It's why it's two thousand, the full.
00:39:27
Speaker 5: Alex. I hate you.
00:39:31
Speaker 6: How is it not the full name?
00:39:43
Speaker 11: I think you just give me the point.
00:39:45
Speaker 7: All right, let's skip it.
00:39:49
Speaker 4: Three two one. The answer is three Com Park at Candlestick Point.

00:40:27
Speaker 4: You're crediting Jeopardy one point. All right, Uh, you do get to go down. Isaac was the one that got the last one.
00:40:41
Speaker 5: I'm sorry. We go Rojas for sixteen.
00:40:43
Speaker 4: That is the daily double, and Rojas is on his way to second with an rb I double.
00:40:52
Speaker 8: I had to put it in this category because of that sound clip.
00:40:55
Speaker 7: By the way, Oh yeah, makes sense.
00:40:59
Speaker 4: All right, Isaac, how much would you like to bet you have twelve thousand to.
00:41:03
Speaker 5: Play with sugar muffin? Let's bet.
00:41:08
Speaker 4: Three thousand.
00:41:09
Speaker 10: Eli is forty eleven thousand.
00:41:11
Speaker 5: Eleven thousand, that local I'll go three.
00:41:13
Speaker 4: Thousand, three thousand, Yeah, all right, Eli, Please reveal.
00:41:22

00:41:52
Speaker 10: Coming from the Crown.
00:41:53
Speaker 5: Oh say first base. Now you played a lot of first base.
00:41:57
Speaker 7: Yeah, I remember that.
00:42:00

00:42:45
Speaker 6: He's great. He's great, except for you know this question is Yeah, this question is close to him.
00:42:50

00:42:52
Speaker 4: He told definitely, he's omitted a really mean question about who.
00:42:58
Speaker 8: Is very difficult.
00:43:00
Speaker 5: Is this a name we would know?
00:43:03
Speaker 4: No answer?
00:43:04
Speaker 8: I mean, if you know the answer, then you know the name.
00:43:06
Speaker 3: Right.
00:43:08
Speaker 6: Did he pitch at all after the twenty eleven season in the majors?
00:43:12
Speaker 2: Was that it?
00:43:13
Speaker 8: No, the time with the Marlins was his only time in the big leagues. I will say he used to pitching right now, though internationally not doesn't help you.
00:43:21
Speaker 12: But oh, you like, I want you to get this right.
00:43:26
Speaker 5: Please tell me you know this. That'd be insane.
00:43:32
Speaker 7: I have no idea.
00:43:33
Speaker 6: I don't know. I'm thinking of a really bad picture. But just I don't think he's Yeah, I don't think he's American even I don't think of like an international guy.
00:43:43
Speaker 5: It's all right, he does it.
00:43:48
Speaker 4: This is the name you would know if you listened to the radio broadcast. It was a trivia question.
00:43:52
Speaker 5: Can you can you tell them he correct? Is there? Please? Oh that's a pet peeve, no offense.
00:44:01
Speaker 4: Beat, by the way, that is a pet peeve offus. He corrects all of us all the time.
00:44:04
Speaker 5: Yeah. In the group, Chet asked, Kevin asked all.
00:44:07

00:44:28
Speaker 6: I don't think I would have been able to summon the name. But that actually was the picture that I've heard of that guy. I'll say that I've.
00:44:35
Speaker 8: Heard of him. I remember him still pitching in the Mexican leagues. I think he's like thirty five or thirty six years old right now, but he is still pitching. Just didn't do much in the majors.
00:44:43
Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't think it was. That was all right, So that was I take that back. That was a fine two thousand questions because that was possible. That's possible.
00:44:50
Speaker 5: That was eleven is recent enough.
00:44:53
Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean he pitched.
00:44:54

00:45:00
Speaker 5: The last name in the minors.
00:45:02
Speaker 4: Before we get to these last two questions, Alex, you never sent me the final jeopardy question.
00:45:07
Speaker 8: I will send it to you right now, all right.
00:45:11
Speaker 4: Who was it that that chose the question?
00:45:13
Speaker 5: This was all Isaac, Isaac Isaac. The next question, let's go coaches for two.
00:45:18
Speaker 4: Coaches for two thousand, Marlin's bullpen coach in two thousand and five. Once again with the organization today, isn't it? What's his name's dad? Hey, Isaac? Quyet?
00:45:35
Speaker 10: Oh?
00:45:37
Speaker 5: Could I describe him?
00:45:38
Speaker 10: No?
00:45:39
Speaker 5: If I know the name.
00:45:43
Speaker 4: Depends?
00:45:47
Speaker 5: No, Okay, I can. I can risk a little bit, Isaac? Is it Louis Dora's dad? All right?
00:45:58

Speaker 12: The only reason I know that, Mars, Yeah, he sat with me at the development camp and like told me a whole story of his entire leg life.
00:46:14
Speaker 5: And that's why I know that.
00:46:15
Speaker 10: That's funny.
00:46:16
Speaker 6: I mean, I know I didn't. I didn't remember him being Marlins. That's why I know I know him and that he's in the organization.
00:46:23
Speaker 5: Damn.
00:46:25
Speaker 6: All right, Okay, here we go, final question, double check?

Speaker 10: Come on, guess yeah, throw someone out.
00:48:21
Speaker 14: Our first round pick, oh Andrew Heen, Yeah, I need sorry.
00:48:34
Speaker 6: Man, because he was immediately traded from the Dodgers the Angels Dodger at all Yeah, all right, a Danny.
00:48:43
Speaker 8: Alvarez special by the way, for you guys. He wanted to make a really hard question because he's still in protest, ask why he's not on the show anyways.
00:48:51
Speaker 4: At the end, of double jeopardy. Isaac has he commanding it seventeen thousand point, followed by Eli with six eight hundred and Daniel Rodriguez with eight hundred, Nick with negative two hundred, and Luis with negative five.

Speaker 5: Hundred, so the state silent.
00:49:16

00:52:02
Speaker 4: No Wonder held it wrong, but he got it correct.
00:52:05
Speaker 5: It's probably Daniel.
00:52:08
Speaker 11: It's probably Isaac.
00:52:09
Speaker 5: I mean, no way, I got that. There's no way so West. I mean that is an umpire And I don't think and Rnanda is called the no hitor.
00:52:19
Speaker 4: It's true.
00:52:21
Speaker 7: Always Luis got it right?
00:52:26
Speaker 11: Oh I did? It was Bill Miller?
00:52:28
Speaker 4: No, No, what is it?
00:52:31
Speaker 8: You like? I get the results? Hold on?
00:52:33
Speaker 4: Hold on, Eli says says that it's himself, which.
00:52:41
Speaker 8: Me, Is that really your answer?
00:52:48
Speaker 7: Yeah?
00:52:48
Speaker 6: I I blanked on that. I had no clue.
00:52:51
Speaker 5: I just thought of the first right, what's the answer.
00:52:55
Speaker 8: The answer is Ron Coppa and Isaac.
00:53:00
Speaker 10: Yeah, pretending that he doesn't know it.
00:53:03
Speaker 9: Dude.
00:53:04
Speaker 12: The only reason I said Bron cooler because he's a Michael CONFORDO freaking umpire exactly.
00:53:12
Speaker 4: That was our champion, Isaac, you're.
00:53:15
Speaker 10: Gonna the champagne.
00:53:16
Speaker 5: Oh my god, that's awesome. Daniel Oliveras, thank you so much for not being on anymore.
00:53:27
Speaker 4: All right, Eli, are you tabulating the final results?
00:53:30
Speaker 6: Yeah, it'll take it a couple of.
00:53:33
Speaker 5: Michael. Is that why it was familiar faces? Because Colpa wasn't Dick exactly?
00:53:38
Speaker 12: Okay, wow, that was the only only umpire I could name it the moment too, I totally forgot about Angel and.
00:53:43
Speaker 4: Bill Isaac your victory speech.
00:53:46
Speaker 12: No, just thank you everyone for having me. Eliza gotten good job with the questions. Alex and Daniel Alvarez. They they were good.
00:53:53
Speaker 5: They were hard, but they were good.
00:53:56
Speaker 10: This was easily the hardest one yet by far. Yeah. This was tough, man. This was the toughest one.
00:54:02
Speaker 7: I waited like a month and a half and you guys give me like the super toughest one.
00:54:09
Speaker 5: A big game, bro, you have a big game on Twitter. Now you should have you should have.
00:54:13
Speaker 7: I mean I got some questions right, so like I didn't.
00:54:17
Speaker 11: Get me, Bro, we still failed to test. That's like getting a thirty and they're like, yeah, I got number six.
00:54:21
Speaker 12: Right, you know you Like, I don't think you realize how like upset Daniel is I.
00:54:30
Speaker 5: Was on the He's like, I see this makes no sense. I want to go back on. I'm like, like.
00:54:35
Speaker 6: Eli, No, he's not so about it, man. He lets me know every time gets in like in fun ways. Hey, you know I should be on. I'm the best.
00:54:44
Speaker 10: I agree have like a tournament of champions or something like that.
00:54:48
Speaker 5: I would have liked.
00:54:49
Speaker 4: To have a tournament of champion. You need champions other than one person.
00:54:53
Speaker 12: Daniel is right right that I would have liked to like beat him, you know, like beating you guys nice.
00:54:59
Speaker 7: Like Josh Alan, Patrick Mahomes battle.
00:55:02
Speaker 5: Something like that.
00:55:03
Speaker 11: Not even that close Mickey Mouse.
00:55:09
Speaker 6: All right, Oh Lewis's name is too long and see the point total?
00:55:12
Speaker 11: All right, Bro, we know I'm like negative a million or whatever.
00:55:18
Speaker 4: All right, that's why you put that Eli so positive?
00:55:27
Speaker 8: Yeah, I think I think me and Eli are now are now tied with that score. I got that score once as well.
00:55:33
Speaker 6: No, yeah, yeah, well no, you're well into the positive.
00:55:37
Speaker 8: You're you know I'm talking about on one show I got I got a one point score.
00:55:40
Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, yeah, Hey Edward, your question applies to both me and Nick. All right?
00:55:52
Speaker 10: Uh.
00:55:53
Speaker 4: For our champion, Isaac is youd. I think we are we back next week. We are either Tuesday or Thursday. It will be announced later on in the week.
Kid?
00:18:44

00:19:10
Speaker 5: Who is Jack Armstrong?
00:19:12

00:25:29

00:27:45
Speaker 5: Hell of a question?
00:27:50

00:28:01
Speaker 7: Who who is al Lighter? I know it's wrong?

00:28:38
Speaker 4: All right.
00:28:40
Speaker 11: I will do MLB ballparks for four hundred.
00:28:44

00:29:09
Speaker 4: All right, Isaac, let's go.
00:29:14
Speaker 5: The homie Miguelo Rosas.
00:29:16
Speaker 4: For Miguel Rojas for four hundred year in which Miguel Rojas was named a Gold Glove finalist.
00:29:25
Speaker 6: Eli, what is twenty twenty?

00:29:29
Speaker 3: Ah?
00:29:30
Speaker 5: Good one?
00:29:32
Speaker 10: Nice?
00:29:33
Speaker 3: You like?
00:29:33

00:29:41
Speaker 11: I've seen I've seen the passage with him.

00:30:44
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:30:45

00:31:44
Speaker 5: Isaac, I think this is wrong. Who is Anfernie Seymour?
00:31:47
Speaker 4: That is incorrect?
00:31:49
Speaker 5: Who was I thinking of?
00:31:52
Speaker 4: Eli?
00:31:54
Speaker 6: I think I think there were teammates? Who is Stone Garrett?

Speaker 8: By the way, that one had no name on it. That one had no Twitter hand or name on it, So whoever sent that in it was a good question. They made a bobble hat out of his over the wall play, so I figured I would include it.
00:32:27
Speaker 4: That was a good one, all right, Eli.
00:32:30
Speaker 6: Let's actually switch it up. But back to mcguil rojas.

Speaker 8: That's a typo, my bad?
00:35:48
Speaker 4: Yeah, Isaac?
00:35:52
Speaker 5: Who is Perry Hill? Yeah? That is correct? It was like too easy to beat. Okay, okay, thank goodness, who's that?
00:36:00
Speaker 8: I think it was like two thousand and one to two thousand and seven, is the right?
00:36:04
Speaker 5: Sorry?
00:36:06
Speaker 12: All right, audience, No, let's go MLB ballparks for sixteen.
00:36:11

00:36:28
Speaker 7: Nick, what is usol your field?
00:36:33
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:36:35

00:36:36
Speaker 7: I remember that Chicago White Sox.
00:36:41
Speaker 5: I was six, so.
00:36:43
Speaker 4: I was four. All right, let's go with audience questions for sixteen hundred. Jose Fernandez set the Marlins all time I'm single season strikeout record in twenty sixteen with this many. Louise, what is two hundred and fifty eight is incorrect?
00:37:11
Speaker 12: That's a heck of a lot of strikeouts.
00:37:15
Speaker 11: Probably more than that too.
00:37:16
Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it is more, but I don't know the exact number.
00:37:20
Speaker 5: Oh no, no, I know now I know the answer, and I know somebody's gonna say it.
00:37:24
Speaker 10: Can we put Danny Avers's comment on there really quick?
00:37:29
Speaker 6: Yeah? Also he says this, I don't know what this is about, Alex.
00:37:37
Speaker 5: That's correct, I Isaac, what is two fifty three?
00:37:44
Speaker 4: That is correct?
00:37:45
Speaker 11: Oh God?
00:37:49
Speaker 10: Where's Danny I when you need him?
00:37:51
Speaker 5: Lewis, what number did you say I said to fifty eight? Very close?
00:38:11
Speaker 4: Yes, there is former Marlin's third base coach and the first in the first in the umpire's face after a blown foul ball call in the bottom of the ninth of a tie game in twenty ten, Bob Davidson, you missed that call, said Tommy Hutton.
00:38:29
Speaker 5: Isaac, who is Joe Spotta?
00:38:31
Speaker 4: That's correct?
00:38:33
Speaker 5: Sc oh Man was great.

00:39:03
Speaker 7: Nick Candlestick Park, incorrect.
00:39:07
Speaker 4: We need the full name Nick.
00:39:10
Speaker 5: Can you get the one question right? So Eli doesn't get it.
00:40:01
Speaker 10: No one was wrong.
00:40:04
Speaker 5: Let me take that out of but pre Com Park. Who's whose home ballpark was a.
00:40:10
Speaker 11: Giant Giants thousand?
00:40:14
Speaker 4: It is commonly known as Candlestick Park, but the full name of the stadium is three Com Park at Candlestick Point.
00:40:21
Speaker 5: It was that that I have such analogy.
00:40:24
Speaker 7: I should still get partial credit for that one, because.

Speaker 4: Yes, position at which Miguil Rojas has just one major league appearance.
00:41:32
Speaker 5: Oh my god, I think it's this.
00:41:36
Speaker 4: You can't answer, Luis, Louis, come on, I know, I'm just I'm sure what.
00:41:44
Speaker 5: Is what is left field?
00:41:46
Speaker 4: It's correct?
00:41:47
Speaker 10: Oh my god, you go.
00:41:50
Speaker 6: That's what I would have guessed too.
00:41:52
Speaker 10: Coming from the Crown.
00:41:53
Speaker 5: Oh say first base. Now you played a lot of first base.
00:41:57
Speaker 7: Yeah, I remember that.
00:42:00
Speaker 8: It was a he was a great first basement like yeah, but I wouldn't translate his offense in opposition him.
00:42:06

00:42:42
Speaker 4: Shout out to Navi, who runs the Marlins Discord.
00:42:45
Speaker 6: He's great. He's great, except for you know this question is Yeah, this question is close to him.
00:42:50
Speaker 8: I guess it's very very difficult question.
00:44:07
Speaker 4: The time, and my friend, no clue. Nobody got it. The correct answer is Ellie is really oh Yeah, that was the guy.
00:44:21
Speaker 6: I didn't know his I didn't know his name, but he was. That came to my mind.
00:44:25
Speaker 5: You're insane if you thought I was anyone in the planet would get that.
00:44:54
Speaker 8: Then for a while. Every level of the miners, he was in, every level of the miners knows the punch, sort of recall.

Speaker 5: If I know the name.
00:45:43

Speaker 12: The only reason I know that, Mars, Yeah, he sat with me at the development camp and like told me a whole story of his entire leg life.
00:46:14
Speaker 5: And that's why I know that.
00:46:15
Speaker 10: That's funny.
00:46:16
Speaker 6: I mean, I know I didn't. I didn't remember him being Marlins. That's why I know I know him and that he's in the organization.
00:46:23
Speaker 5: Damn.
00:46:25
Speaker 6: All right, Okay, here we go, final question, double check?
