ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
Slow people can drive me crazy – only if I allow them to!
I like walking fast…
because it’s my main mode of transportation, and I’m not a fan of tight spaces
full of randomly moving humans.
So, on crowded sidewalks, I try to position myself behind a fast walking person.
Moving in their wake, as they cut a swath through the packed mass of human
meat, clogging the arteries of my travel path.
I look at these speedy people like Bruce Willis in Die Hard three, following an ambulance
in full siren through the congested street traffic to get where he’s going.
I began referring to these faster walking blessings as “Ambulances”.
Inevitably stuck behind Slowness
One day, I found myself stuck behind the “Slowest Person Ever”, with no hope of
escape, unless I was willing to run out into the middle of busy traffic.
Which I considered.
Faced with the choice of Acceptance or Death, I decided to choose acceptance.
So I decided to name this person – my “Slowbulance”.
Placed there specifically by Fate – right that very moment – just to slow me down.
I chose to accept that, for some reason, it was Necessary – that I meet this resistance.
That my assumption of how fast I “Should” be going needed to be challenged.
Anywhere I actually Am – is where I ‘Need’ to be.
For some reason, I am Meant to be in whatever Space I’m occupying – right Now.
The better I can Accept this, the more fully I can exist within every Moment,
rather than unconsciously trying to live somewhere other than where I Am.
When I feel stuck behind somebody who’s slower than dust, now I try to accept
that my newfound Slowbulance is providing me with a Necessary service.
Teaching me to relax in the face of expectation and let go of inappropriate
velocity expectations.
I have to trust that Fate will get me to where I’m going at the Right time
if not the Assumed One.
Love your Slowbulances!
Enjoy!

I often hold off on starting things until I feel like the ‘Right” person for the job, but until I begin, I’ll still be reflecting the “me” from a pre-active state. Action purifies me from the preconceptions of who I was, and firmly involves me in who I want to be. Please, swim with me […]

I believe that Happiness, at it’s root, is a simple repeating process I can Apply to every situation, more so than waiting for every random circumstance to bring it to me.
I think I’ve figured out a simple vision of this equation. Join me!
The philosophy is warm.
We see reflections of our own consciousness by projecting it onto other people and looking at what returns. The more conscious we become of this inevitable interactive process, the more we can choose evolutionary perspectives to constantly surround ourselves. Join me in the search!

“Beauty” stems from a lack of internal confusion. From essentially, determinedly being one simple awesome thing that reflects who we truly are to the core. When we see that in something or someone, we deeply want to be it. To be that confident of our intrinsic simplicity. Join me as I remove some ‘…
