ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
In August 2002, the quiet village of Soham, Cambridgeshire, was shattered by the disappearance of two ten-year-old best friends, Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman. What began as a summer evening stroll turned into one of the most haunting criminal investigations in UK history.
This episode unravels the chilling timeline—from the girls’ last known steps to the disturbing revelations that followed. We explore the manipulative facade of Ian Huntley, the school caretaker who became the prime suspect, and the controversial role of his partner, Maxine Carr. Through forensic evidence, media frenzy, and the systemic failures exposed by the Bichard Inquiry, we examine how this tragedy reshaped child protection policies across Britain.
With empathy and clarity, we reflect on the lives lost, the community’s heartbreak, and the enduring lessons from a case that still echoes through the corridors of justice.
