ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
Sometimes life forces a crossroads you never asked for.
A career changes.Business feels harder than it used to.
Outside influences creep in and suddenly you’re navigating uncertainty you didn’t plan for.
One thing that feels especially true right now is this:
Life is uncertain.
And in seasons like that, we’re often invited to reflect inwardly and focus on what we can control.
That’s why I’m so excited to bring back Navigating Crossroads with this honest and insightful conversation with Sam Hearn.
Before running her own Virtual Assistance and OBM business, Sam spent 17 years working in the aged care industry, working her way from the ground up into a management role.
Then life shifted.
Her industry changed.
Her options felt limited.
And she found herself facing an unexpected turning point that impacted not just her—but her whole family.
A moment of asking:
Where do I go from here?
In this episode, Sam shares openly about navigating uncertainty, the emotional weight of change, and what it looked like to move through a season that felt completely out of her control.
We talk about:
- navigating an unexpected career crossroads
- what it feels like when circumstances shift overnight
- managing uncertainty and pressure when others are affected too
- trusting yourself when the path ahead isn’t clear
- making decisions from what you can control
- building a business that feels aligned and meaningful
- One of the biggest reminders from this conversation is:
Even when life feels out of your control… you still have choice.
Sometimes the crossroads we never wanted become the exact thing that helps us move toward something more aligned.
If you’ve been navigating uncertainty in business or life lately, I hope this conversation feels grounding and reminds you that you’re not alone.
