0:00
yeah all right
0:06
[Music] it's like it's like Friday isn't it it
0:11
feels like Friday has this been a long wait for you well it reminds me of last week saying to
0:16
Jenny I was like there was a baseball game and I was like huh that's weird that they would have a baseball game on a Wednesday she's like babe it's a
0:23
Monday night I was like oh no I hope there's not gaps in my brain right now
0:28
but I legitimately thought it was a Wednesday a day off is one thing two days is uh alarming but uh
0:35
but yeah this is felt like two weeks in one right here but yeah this would be nice
0:41
yeah I couldn't agree more we still need to start that podcast I've
0:48
been I've been thinking about it just not tell anybody I might I think we should do some some
0:55
pen names for the first couple rounds just to make sure that we can be trusted with a microphone yeah uh yeah
1:05
ah well people are coming in I thanks for everybody joining we're just gonna
1:10
give it another minute here and then we're gonna dance hard so uh really looking forward to this one uh Piper
1:16
graph hour 50 which is even hard to think about right I know it's like
1:24
uh does that include the coffee talks that Wyatt and I did back in the day I
1:29
don't know I don't know uh it wasn't like formalized those were more frequently
1:34
and I'll tell you what yeah those are fun those are really fun I think I was like sitting in a like a
1:41
bean bag in my house and just like asking questions you know yeah and why
1:48
it's answering with geometry
1:55
the topological ordering of the cells wanted an answer not a shape
2:03
[Laughter] that's amazing
2:13
nah it's all I mean look at palantir took 15 years to go public I mean
2:23
um well let's dive in buddy let's uh folks can watch the recording if they come all
2:28
right here but uh you had let me know when you want me to advance slides and I'll interrupt you if there's anything I
2:33
want to add color to but ladies and gentlemen hi everybody Welcome to hypergraph hour
2:41
50 uh with myself and Benjamin diggles a huge shout out to Benjamin and the
2:47
amazing press release that that hit um the outlets block Works uh did a
2:52
really great piece and coverage on that um and uh it's just so exciting we've
2:58
been waiting waiting to release that that news and uh diggles is going to go into that a
3:03
little later but um I'm happy to welcome everybody here we've got some exciting things going on and I think what's
3:09
different about this hypergraph hour is um I wanted to take some time to kind of
3:15
revisit what our intentions and and who we are uh and then kind of merge that
3:20
into what we've done um while kind of ending this this whole presentation with diggle so if you want
3:26
to go to the next slide diggles we'll get going so the agenda as I said um I I've had a
3:32
little fun over the past week and looking at 2019 and um really kind of when we came out of
3:39
our shell to articulate what we're doing um sure we we did we launched in 2018 but it wasn't it wasn't really until
3:45
2019 that we really had a foothold of what we were doing uh in the data space
3:51
um and so the agenda will then go into 2023 where are we today um progress that we're making uh and
3:59
then we'll dive in to uh constellations data framework or validating data on on
4:05
the network uh and highlight some metagraphs Enterprise iot how they all fit into
4:10
that uh and then we'll round it out with Benjamin diggles giving a federal update talk through the the uh press that you
4:17
saw today and then kind of summarize in a very singular way of uh where constellations core strength is going to
4:25
be um so Douglas if you want to kick it off
4:30
so in 2019 we got started with a rather robust Vision around Big Data if you go
4:37
to the next slide um what I started to calculate behind the scenes was what when we started this
4:43
vision and really started to say hey what we're building is going to tap into uh the Big Data field we weren't as
4:50
articulate as as we are today um and but we knew there was something big going on people still didn't really
4:56
understand Big Data I remember doing uh sessions with uh token holders where we would talk about like what is Big Data
5:03
what it what does it do and so we put these slides together to articulate the value of data like it was a completely
5:09
different time um and it's a great memory for me of going like wow like we're going after
5:14
something really we thought really big uh and in 2019 the the size of the
5:20
industry size of big data was around 41 billion uh it was projected to be 116
5:25
billion by 2027 with a growth of about 14 and primarily the drivers of Big Data
5:34
were business intelligence sales and marketing automation AI was starting to come into the fold a little more
5:40
analytics were big iot sector was really starting to Blossom and this pyramid
5:46
really articulates kind of where the bulk of data uh was being gathered right
5:52
at the very bottom it kind of looks like this Maslow hierarchy of basic needs and
5:57
at the very bottom you have iot Data Business data as kind of the primary volumes that created this this drive for
6:05
Big Data if you go to the next slide and so to kind of recap we had to Define
6:11
what big data was uh and Big Data really describes the huge amounts of volume that that are created by people
6:17
businesses applications that power analytics business intelligent tools AI uh data sources that create Big Data are
6:25
iot and connected things internet and communication applications uh Ai and machine learning pull on big data and we
6:33
use uh big data for business intelligence making our apps more fluid and connect to one another so the next
6:40
slide and so as I was going through our Drive
6:49
of past presentations I I landed on this slide that uh kind of uh naturally
6:56
gravitated from what big data is to this pyramid of what constellation is
7:01
building right and breaking down the various stacks and how it relates to data uh in this slide we built in 2019
7:08
and it kind of blew me away how accurate it was today
7:13
um and that's you know something I took away from all that is that we've been we've been very aligned in our vision
7:19
since day one we haven't deviated off course we've only just gotten more succinct with what we're doing
7:26
um I think in many ways every startup makes a lot of mistakes we've made mistakes in the past but one thing that
7:32
is very true to what we've done is we've always uh set out to to build what we're going to do and tap into a rather rather
7:39
Big Industry uh that was already mature by the time we got started web3 was not
7:44
mature web 2 was mature big data was maturing very nicely and we had to build
7:51
these tools to to keep up with the space and so this was our way of kind of
7:56
articulating our stack uh at the very top you have data pipelines then you go
8:01
down a layer and you've got our micro services framework then below that you have consensus uh and then below that
8:07
you have our dag architecture you can even see the mistake that we made at the time in 2019 calling ourselves a base
8:13
layer level one uh you can hear how things have shifted but but a lot of what we're articulating really hasn't
8:20
changed um you know we're collecting we're looking at business data iot data the
8:25
audit layer data validation adding security and data Assurance like
8:30
all these things are things that we talk about today uh and we're delivering on that uh and it's very exciting to kind
8:37
of see this as a reminder and a strength of uh of where we've come that we've
8:42
only just gotten wiser uh we were very I think we were smart picking out this industry that this wasn't this was an
8:48
industry that people didn't really understand in web3 they knew the crypto Market uh Marketplace they knew the
8:54
value of cryptocurrencies and money coming to the crypto space but what about web3 tooling that could tap into
9:01
this massive sector and bring auditability to to data using web3
9:06
tooling and that was a fascinating Vision that uh that is not it's not gone
9:12
today next slide yeah I just want to add one thing here buddy um you know I love this slide
9:18
because it does hearken back to some memories 2019 feels like forever ago but just to kind of play you know attached
9:24
to what we're going to be talking about in the movie A little bit in the future here at the end of this presentation this was the stack that we ended up
9:30
getting the attention for the dodo in 2019. so we it hasn't changed we've just
9:36
evolved in many ways so uh this brings me a lot of a lot of Happiness seeing this all right next slide back to you
9:41
buddy so now 2019 happens big data is a thing it's people don't really understand it
9:48
we have to come out and be like oh well that's a data pipeline what is a data pipeline uh what's a data source what is
9:55
the value of data like all these things that we started articulating uh and then 2019 we won our our sivir phase one uh
10:03
with United States Air Force to really start to explore use cases around data
10:08
Assurance using a distributed Ledger technology um and so fast forward 2023 as I
10:14
prepared for this hypergraph hour next slide foreign we're starting to see massive
10:21
Trends take place in Big Data that Harden or use big data in a way that we've never seen everybody's talking
10:28
about AI again AI has been around for a while but now it's becoming in the fold
10:33
of the retail consumer and we're starting to question AI this thing could
10:39
be chaotic it could be dangerous I think the the president of AI Google just left last week saying this stuff is dangerous
10:46
like we're starting to question a lot of this automation deep fakes all these
10:52
things that are rather rather kind of scary but leverage big data in a way uh
10:58
and so what we're seeing different than 2019 which was primarily driven by analytics and AI with with big uh big
11:05
data that now we're looking at we're starting to question this exponential growth that we're seeing in the use of
11:11
big data but we're starting to question what regulatory pressures need to be put in place for AI and starting to question
11:18
the quality controls of where that data came from that transparency of where that data game came from and governance
11:25
maybe we need governance around data as it goes into these machines and applications and start predicting uh you
11:33
know our blogs and writing out our whole maps for our lives these things are rather scary but the questions and the
11:39
social presence that this is creating is really falling into our laps in a way
11:44
that's more succinct than we even thought in 2019 it's very powerful all
11:49
these all these questions are actually the questions that the dod is asking us not just the consumer and where where's
11:56
where's this data coming from that predicts these outcomes in AI but DOD is
12:01
asking the same thing and a lot of our work uh was really ahead of the ahead of
12:06
its time in 2019. in so many ways there was very little understanding and value
12:11
on well why would you need to trust this data it goes into a database people use it and it's either good or it's not and
12:18
we were talking about clean data at the time we were simply going well like you need to clean this data and not store all your data now we're here going where
12:26
did the data come from how do we know it was real like oh my God what are the impacts of these things that's amazing
12:31
that's where decentralized networks are coming into uh fluorescent fruition is
12:37
that we're seeing the value of governance not just over a protocol but actual application governance and where
12:43
did that data come from uh and the power of web 3 is not just in the technology it's also in the community orchestrated
12:49
governance that's going to have a massive impact on big data and we're at the front seat of this race that's the
12:55
fun part while every other ecosystem is focusing on creating web 3 and inventing
13:01
money out of nowhere we're going going after tried and true industry and market value and saying hey use this web 3 tool
13:09
to bring Integrity to your data this is going to be a big play in compliance
13:14
decentralized networking Federated databases wasn't even a thing back then we're building Federated databases that
13:21
are orchestrated through our consensus mechanism trusted data brokerage is now
13:26
a conversation as I look through slides in the past we looked at I was looking at sides saying well you know people
13:32
don't use uh Big Data as much because they don't trust the data or raw data just isn't valuable it's not new oil it
13:39
doesn't have value in the same way and we can't trust who sells and buys data
13:44
referential Integrity of data wasn't even a thing being able to reference one data pipeline for another one and create
13:52
a new augmentation of data that's a really really big Vision that wasn't
13:57
even possible in 2019. now it's possible it's it's not even even not it's not
14:03
just possible it's actually essential in this world we need Federated databases
14:09
right that aren't centrally owned because there is by there is a lot of bias that takes data and puts it into AI
14:16
uh we need to create trusted data brokerages these need to be automated they need to be programmatic they need
14:22
to be built by or orchestrated by a consensus mechanism like Pro uh and then
14:27
new applications are going to come into existence once they know that that data is trusted and valid valued you can
14:34
actually create referential Integrity by being able to draw on different data feeds and ultimately this kind of lands
14:40
itself on a myriad of use cases infinite potential around compliance of data like
14:46
every application every system everything that's collecting data using data creating applications will have to
14:52
to conform to some sort of compliance next slide so as such I started looking at this and
15:00
there was a giant massive industry explosion that happened while everybody's been focused on
15:06
bitcoin and the price and price action of this or that and in the meantime big
15:12
data hits 162 billion dollars last year now if you remember in 2019 it was
15:18
projected to be 116 billion in 2027 but now the industry has has increased
15:25
four-fold in the three to four years that we've been around this is a massive
15:32
explosion AI just came out uh this year with chat GPT and all these applications
15:38
we can look on Twitter and see all the different AI applications this space is
15:43
exploding and using big data I don't think I don't even think the the impact
15:48
has really been calculated at its full potential seeing how much they missed the mark back in 2019 there's a few huge
15:55
upside opportunity AI is expected to be a two trillion dollar industry by 2030 which is really ironic that Ray Kurzweil
16:03
predicted the singularity around 2030 or 2032 where you wouldn't be able to discern between man and robot uh the iot
16:11
market is expected to be 600 billion dollars in 2026 these are massive
16:18
industries that are using data creating data that needs Solutions this is vastly
16:24
different than what we're seeing in the web 3 space where we're trying to invent uh where people are inventing Solutions
16:30
and trying to find a problem these are massive problems that that orchestrate
16:36
the entire world uh and that's the that's the where where we're shifting uh
16:41
our future and so I put together uh I kind of Revisited this stack of our business to
16:49
show kind of from a high level the progress that we've made and set out to do in 2019 in terms of data pipelines we
16:55
acquired door technology because they collected a very unique subset of data that you can't go out and buy on an
17:02
exchange this would allow us flexibility to kind of realize our vision to attach uh to be able to do more with data with
17:10
a product that that consumers in in the retail space could actually use this gave us a little bit of ground to build
17:17
kind of a Skunk Works operation around data and and seeing its potential uh we
17:23
rolled out Euclid SDK last month um which are around our microservices
17:29
framework exactly what we set out to do uh this is kind of allowing us to go after medic build people to build
17:35
metagraphs door technology kind of leading the way on that metagraph framework uh and ultimately be able to
17:41
capture more data and then you go down the consensus layer well the Department of Defense has been our primary customer
17:48
here uh in guiding us on how consensus can be used how our Network can be used
17:54
to orchestrate immutability of data on a peer-to-peer network uh and then at the
17:59
very bottom uh constellations network uh while it's still small it's getting ready to blow up like we're ready to
18:06
open the doors in 2019 that wasn't even our main net wasn't even a thing at that point so we've hit all of these things
18:12
while being true to our vision as that vision and the industry continue to evolve and explode and I think a lot of
18:21
the people in web 3 have largely ignored the trends around data and technology
18:27
that have occurred occurred outside of its own industry which is massive massive that this is happening
18:33
underneath us and people aren't commenting next slide
18:38
and so today we're also unlocking um value from the web 3 in we're
18:45
unlocking value in web 2 with web3 tooling uh and we're launching and releasing our data framework and API
18:51
this is another developer tool that's different than the metagraft so uh
18:57
essentially any application uh including the federal government door is using
19:02
this technology uh a handful of metagraphs and applications are using this piece of technology that will allow
19:09
anyone to validate data and then record that snapshot um on on our chain on the hypergraph uh
19:16
and I think this is a very valuable piece as people start to look at the different developer tools that we're launching that it's not just about these
19:23
complex layer one currency networks but it's also about uh it's also about just
19:29
recording data on chain and so what that looks like off to the left you can see the kind of three simple steps that that
19:36
you you'll that the client or customer will be able to use to be able to share
19:42
validated data on the hypergraph which ultimately turns into a snapshot and Records on-chain utility
19:49
um the federal government that that diggles is working with is using a more complicated version of this uh door to
19:56
record their check-ins are we'll be using this API to record
20:02
um uh check-ins from each device onto the onto the hypergraph and various metagraphs will also be using this and
20:09
what I wanted to point out here is that these all represent different Industries in the data world uh the federal the
20:18
federal budget alone is a 100 billion dollar budget of which 400 billion goes to the private sector I tweeted about
20:24
that last week and what that does is it allows us our work with the federal government allows us to harden that
20:30
solution and take that to the Enterprise and Commercial sector which we think will even have a bigger explosion on the
20:36
federal government has been known for helping early stage Technologies to harden their solution take that into a
20:43
commercial partner we are working with a commercial partner through through craft and really that becomes kind of our
20:49
Enterprise Focus or commercialized uh efforts right there on the iot sector
20:56
door really represents the iot sector when we start talking to iot companies whether it's through Federal engagements
21:02
or just through regular commercial outlets we have door to lean on it's a true iot product uh that is a really
21:10
great reference point and framework for other iot Solutions especially around validating and securing data across mesh
21:18
networks or smart cities or all those type of things that that use data and
21:23
trade or exchange data to create a mesh Network and on the on the very far side you have
21:30
metagraphs and data types and what I think is interesting about this uh and
21:35
that'll enlarge what what we're missing in this whole perspective is that while
21:41
a lot of blockchain ecosystems are going after web3 D5 nft angles uh that's
21:48
interesting but what I found is the application space is only about a two 2.3 billion dollar space right now sure
21:55
that's going to be growing substantially but what about looking at all the different
22:01
applications in our ecosystem as bridging web3 to web 2. that to me is
22:07
the real aha unlock moment that that I had just like we're doing with door and
22:12
tapping into iot at the 600 billion dollar market size or building a federal effort that Taps into an 800 billion
22:19
dollar budget that's where real revenue is coming from that's sustainable long-term real Revenue that creates
22:26
sound and true businesses sure it's not sexy to talk about iot or federal and stuff like that but what's awesome about
22:33
the different projects that come into our ecosystem is they follow that same play uh next side slide
22:39
foreign they follow that same play they're not not all of these partners are these metagraphs and applications
22:46
are building a currency on constellations network but they're using a developer tool to capture data record
22:52
that on the hyper graph and be able to show transparent trusted analytics that
22:58
aren't uh you don't you won't argue about it this is helping them build better business intelligence around
23:04
their their company in many ways every application in our ecosystem uh are creating data applications that have
23:11
some sort of bi solution at at hand uh and so when you think about like how
23:17
many people are building metagraphs also just take the whole Suite of constellation Solutions into consideration uh and this is really
23:24
power this is a powerful slide that I reached out to the handful of companies that we're using as MVP onto the
23:31
hypergraph to kind of show what that that data perspective how many snapshots would that be
23:37
and really through the data API we're bringing more utility to decentralization through web 2. that's
23:44
what I want to see it's not just are we creating a a web 3 product that tries to fight for the existing web3 Pi but how
23:51
are we using web3 tooling to go in and create a Nuance that Taps into a completely different industry right
23:58
you've got cyber lead doing old Gaming using web3 they're going to be capturing
24:03
about 36 000 snaps or creating 36 000 snapshots daily or 1 million stats
24:09
snapshots a month that will be put on chain jennyco uh in their early MVP of
24:15
their application they're going to be recording demographic uh identifiers and many other data points that I I didn't
24:21
have room to list here uh resulting about 300 000 snapshots a month that's
24:26
only going to increase as users increase uh biofi uh We've engaged re-engaged
24:33
with biofi to build proof of verification they're basically in a simple way the data they're collecting
24:38
is some sort of verification that their customers are using the product they're using a a version or method of
24:45
authentication of some sort and they're showing that in a decentralized way resulting in about
24:51
30 million snapshots a month I think that's on the lower side but I wanted to Tamper expectations uh Alchemy looking
24:59
at advertising bid request data we've already seen the Alchemy ad Explorer
25:04
right this is along with customer engagements and I have to let Alchemy
25:09
talk to this one but on their MVP they'll be doing 18 million snapshots a
25:14
month as an MVP they can get to 18 billion like these are amazing use cases
25:21
that that when I think of the metagraph and people building metagraphs or using
25:26
the data API I'm thinking about how how can our community go into these other
25:32
industries that we don't have any knowledge we don't have knowledge in gaming um
25:37
bioidentification Healthcare data advertising we don't have that the power
25:43
of our developer tools are unlocking our ability for our ecosystem to tap into
25:49
existing uh markets and bring that into web three that's the net new value we're
25:56
bringing into the web3 ecosystem next slide
26:02
and so with that I'm going to hand this over to diggles to Really dive into the federal engagement here
26:09
appreciate it buddy hopefully nobody's playing a drinking game where you're taking a shot every time the word data
26:15
is used but I mean my whole career has been around data um those may know before I was with
26:20
constellations with Oracle for about five years I was with the company web trends for five years that invented web
26:27
analytics in 1993 um always being in a in a position around data and always baffled that
26:33
nobody knows anything about data like people just don't think about it um and I always am going to look back on
26:39
this 30-year band of the public internet as a great data link right where the big companies are taking advantage of all of
26:45
our digital Footprints healthcare companies there's 300 different plus copies of your medical data out there
26:51
but guess who doesn't have it you right like there's a huge shift happening I really am thankful for chat GPT because
26:57
it's pushing the issue right you get information back where's the attribution who's the source of this data is it real
27:03
is it false has it been validated is the person that created the data getting paid or you know that attribution for
27:10
the data these are all questions that I keep saying it's like putting the toothpaste back and the tooth uh you know the bottle right is uh it's tough
27:18
to get it back in once this is leaked out but this is going to force compliance Force regulations and require
27:23
a solution like constellation be as close to the source and I believe we're going to live in a future that if data
27:29
is not on a blockchain then it's a lie and uh I think that year is getting very close here but you don't want to hear my
27:35
pontification on my opinions the data you want to hear about the federal um I am really really pleased to be able
27:40
to share this today um we'll go ahead and just kick it off and I'm sure everybody saw the press release that went out today this is
27:46
something we held off on I did talk about in the past of us completing it but this makes it real right I understand there's a lot of fudsters out
27:52
there that love to believe Benjamin diggles but they want to see the proof in the pudding and here it is um so we held off on this to make sure
27:59
that we did it at the right time um the gentleman over there to the far right side I'm not going to mention their names out of their privacy but uh
28:05
these are the three of the four and one of them that's not in here I can't talk
28:10
about uh we're really by my side and they continue to be so throughout what I'm working on I wouldn't have been able
28:16
to do it without them um with this you know I have mentioned this in the past so I'm not going to spend too much time on this but we did
28:23
complete all the Milestones uh 13 Milestones uh and why that's important
28:28
is that we're we we hold ourselves accountable we have to deliver we don't want to let down not only the dod but
28:35
everybody that's in you know invested in this uh energy right um so us being
28:40
validated by the Air Force research laboratory was one of the biggest moments of my life right like it validation from you know the top level
28:47
agency that is in charge of validating emerging Technologies and the gentleman
28:53
said it was Secure scalable and DOD approved we got the letter um and I was very very excited about
28:58
that and this cleared the pathway for the next contract this was important you know a lot of folks are wrapped around
29:03
the axle around what a phase three is and it's it's a little bit cloogy there's a lot of different represent
29:09
Temptations of what a customer means but we've done it right and so because of
29:14
that we've developed some significant deep relationships and built trust with not only the federal government the U.S
29:20
Air Force specifically our partners over at Kennedy the Civil Reserve air fleet partner that we partnered with as well
29:27
as others that have been monitoring the effort and our network has expanded drastically and we're really excited to
29:33
share throughout this year some of those strategic Partnerships and constituents that we're bringing into constellations
29:40
ecosystem uh so with that you know even though today was really exciting kind of
29:45
showcasing uh some of the proof here of the um the phase two effort what I was
29:51
really excited about some folks heard me say I landed the plane today I was a little bit um you know clergy in that as
29:58
well but we have transitioned and converted the U.S Air Force into a customer contract so we have landed a
30:04
new contract so I'm I'm jittering here but uh we landed a new contract we are
30:09
are no longer a part of the siber program so one of the benefits is we don't have to disclose a lot of our
30:15
financials so that's good because we're protected under a true customer whereas
30:20
the sbir program the small business Innovation research program was really a partnership between us and the U.S Air
30:27
Force to take that Innovation money and work together to see if it there is there right can they prove that
30:33
prototype can they be successful working within our really tough red tape conditions to execute against their
30:39
other milestones and can we get to that finish line and get that stamp of validation versus a Kick In The Head go
30:46
back to the drawing board um I I can't express enough how important this is so this to me was what
30:52
I meant by Landing the plane since we have been a little bit in that sbir kind of phase program we are now working
30:58
directly as a customer um with the with the U.S Air Force and so
31:04
um with that I just want to do a quick like key Federal tracking this is not all of our federal traction but this is
31:10
the key Federal so we have some really great aces up our sleeves that we're going to announce later on in the next
31:15
coming months um as they are we're allowed to uh as you can imagine going back and forth the public affairs office
31:21
at the U.S Air Force is not an easy thing and we have to be very careful about certain things we say so we don't
31:26
piss them off um that said looking at in review here in August 19th as we mentioned at the
31:32
beginning of this is when we won our first phase one open topic that was not them requesting blockchain that's us
31:37
coming and say hey you don't know you need this but you need this and we're going to convince you that you need this and they said all right we we're gonna
31:43
we're gonna take you up on it and I was very proud of that we were the one of the first blockchain companies to receive a federal contract along with
31:49
Simba chain we did at the same time very proud of that less than 12 percent Phase One open topic contracts even get
31:55
selected for a war and only about 17 percent move on to a phase two so you can just see that or the tenacity we've
32:02
had to put behind this to make sure that we continue to move in the right direction I will tell you the gap
32:07
between phase one and phase two almost killed me um you know Jorgensen saw me breakdown multiple times of getting so close and
32:14
getting kicked down but we did it in a directive phase two less than eight percent of direct to phase two contracts
32:19
get selected for award it's a really hard path in an existing already hard path as it is we had to go through sort
32:27
of that Batman door to squeeze our website way through and really Garner a lot of uh thrust which caused me to have
32:34
to be on the road a lot explaining why blockchain is the Renaissance technology the magic Elixir they've been missing
32:41
against their data pipelines as Ben had highlighted in the previous slides around a lot of these misnomers right
32:47
working for Oracle and hopefully I don't get in trouble for this but I was managing blue Kai and it was really kind
32:53
of a mess in certain ways around you know data cleansing these data management platforms it was a lot of
33:00
garbage data right it was a very inefficient model that I'm hoping since my departure they've tuned that thing
33:05
and I'm sure they have in many ways but the point is is that even though we've been saying data for so long it doesn't
33:11
mean that it's like oh that ship has sailed and this is already figured its way out we're still largely in the wild
33:16
west of trying to manage data Lakes you know data repositories that multiple constituents can dip in and out is how
33:23
do you interoperate that data how do you make sure you're pulling the right data that actually has the right values attached to it right so then we move
33:30
over to October 2022 and that's when we got our validated completion of the phase two effort we completed all those
33:35
milestones and roughly 60 percent of phase two contracts are completed as successful so
33:41
um very proud of that they run a tight ship and and we we put our very best foot forward and it worked so
33:48
um I am really excited about this I do get a little sensitive sometimes when the community's like oh that's not that interesting oh you have no idea we just
33:55
convinced the largest customer with the biggest data pipelines in the world the value of not only blockchain but
34:02
constellations hypergraph transfer protocol right um and the power of what dag can bring
34:07
to the table and then May 2023 this is the announcement on the last slide is our kickoff of our U.S Air Force
34:14
customer contract they have absorbed the iron spider program which is a program that me and a constituent I'll keep his
34:21
name out of that at the dod created he named it and he says a very passionate Vision as do I that there's not one
34:27
blockchain to rule them all that the program should be a subset of different tools for different use cases and so uh
34:34
that Vision in my opinion gives us parody with China's blockchain service network they're kind of eating her lunch
34:40
right now because they're so aligned and so focused so in the name of decentralization and Dao's we've had to
34:46
get communities to come together and really work in unison versus a point solution trying to rule the world we've
34:52
been said and you know I can't validate this that we're the lead blockchain project for secure Communications and
34:58
now we're ramping up for production and tradition and through this next phase we're going to be transitioning into a
35:04
tier one Solutions integrator there's gonna be more details on that but I'm very poignant that we we are not aiming
35:10
to be a massive services company we know our swim Lane and we know what our technology can do and based off of my
35:17
history and business Partnerships make one plus one equal three and we're going to continue to do that one-to-many
35:22
strategy so what we've achieved in our first one and I'm not going to spend too much time because there's past
35:27
information on this the blockchain security of command and Control Data communication some of the most sensitive
35:32
data in the world runs on this communication rails and we wanted to show that data and Transit that had
35:38
man-to-metal attacks corruption missing data would be unhackable secure then we wanted to make sure that our our promise
35:44
with kename's data at rest was fulfilled by integrating into their solution so
35:50
that when the data is stored using their encrypted sharding method it has that extra layer of encryption and security
35:57
so that end to end no matter where what system or operator is touching it they have that confidence of the Fidelity
36:03
from an end to end solution and then we deployed a secure smart contract with a civil Reserve air fleet representative a
36:09
partner and that was a multi-author mission data on security smart contract we believe the future does involve smart
36:16
contracts it's not something we're shying away from that said the combination of smart contracts with
36:21
smart or with micro Services game over there's so much you can do right and that's really where the the possibility
36:27
from the API stuff that Ben had touched on as well as the Euclid SDK how do you
36:33
communicate to other systems even if their legacy that may not be tooling for some of this web 3 type of stuff and we
36:39
made that decision very intently intentionally back in the day so what's happening next
36:46
um at the end of this month and on is we're in this next contract and again
36:51
these are only some of the details I'm not sharing everything we can only share so much but we've been asked to prove
36:56
true l0 standard interoperability bridging multiple blockchains using our l0 standard which is awesome right
37:03
because they don't want to get wrapped around one blockchain they want to have multiple blockchains multiple hyper I'm
37:09
sorry metagraphs that are dipping into microservices which will only create more fallback resiliency but also the
37:15
ability for us to communicate with other projects that are using other blockchains again we think that there's a room for all we're also going to be
37:23
employing a agnostic smart contract data Automation and this is going to be where
37:28
we're going to start to really exchange data in a meaningful way using constellations l0 and other Technologies
37:35
um we also are gunning for a thing called authority to operate I have a very specific strategy with that because
37:40
our stuff has to be compliant it has to be blessed has to be strong vetted at the devsecops level so that there's no
37:47
back doors no holes no whatever even if it's a holistic technology that they're owning completely from an infrastructure
37:54
perspective versus a SAS offering we still have to go through that and that's one of the big things that we're leaning into we've we've been exploring that for
38:01
a while so it's not something we're just ramping up into and to really highlight this the next phase is really this iot
38:07
blockchain solution rollout which is huge there's so much sensor data in this world it's baffling but none of them
38:14
communicate with each other because man in the middle attacks nip protection those are the two biggest things I don't
38:19
want to interrupt my data with my competitor even though it's going to make for a more resilient stronger outcome because I may lose my data they
38:26
may they may know my IP furthermore there may be some hack in the middle using some really amazing Quantum
38:31
technology that could screw things up blockchain solves this which is amazing so you'll hear us start using a term a
38:37
data Clearinghouse for machine and machine data exchanges as well as any type of data exchanges but that data
38:42
Clearinghouse really wraps your head around if you really think about ACH when it comes to finance you know
38:48
account Clearinghouse data Clearinghouse kind of brings it down to reality a little bit
38:54
um the contract Milestone schedule we are accountable and I just want to show that like you know these are the seven major uh things that were we're locking
39:01
in right now which is a pathway to becoming the chain of chains of the and data Clearinghouse for Federal Communications and I like this I just
39:08
put this kind of silly land and expand Mall because I am an oracle sales guy at heart that we always talk about land and
39:14
expand but back when we started they thought blockchain was interesting but they knew enough was percolating in
39:20
other industries that they had to take it serious and so now or if you look where we're at and I put a little icon
39:26
there in the middle after closing one we're starting to get that feedback loop and we're hearing that blockchain is Mission critical it's this the ship has
39:32
sailed and we are poised by our years in the last four years of putting our effort into this in an amazing spot
39:39
um so I'm not going to go through the Milestones as I sort of touched on that last slide but anybody can take a look at this uh later in the the recording
39:47
um you know the last thing I'll say before I hand it over to Ben to to bring us home is constellation is a different
39:52
web for you ecosystem I don't want to be compared to the solanas and the ethereums of the world even though I
39:58
have nothing but mad respect for those other ecosystems we made a decision around data early focused on data we are
40:05
a us-based blockchain that is is regulated and we do have capabilities that are far beyond a lot of the status
40:12
quo contenders out there but we're not just focused on finance even though we are big Believers in D5 we're continuing
40:19
to push out web 3 tools the lattice portal is a massive uh Endeavor for us
40:24
we're going to stay focused on that but the real differentiator is that data we're also as I've said in the past
40:30
highly interesting because of our Energy Efficiency our infinite scalability the fact that we're collaboration focused
40:36
and that we can work with these Legacy systems and when you're working with a customer as complex as the dod they have
40:43
systems that are very old that require a lot of Tooling in order to communicate with and that's not off the table for us
40:49
which is very excited and why we're exciting and why we continue to win and so
40:54
um that's it folks I just want to give a big shout out and thank you to everybody who's always extended a lot of support and and love for me it's been a hard
41:02
Road and I want to give my wife a huge shout out because she's uh she's my partner in crime and always keeps me
41:09
sane after my multiple breakdowns of either being rejected or just having to work so hard getting my teeth kicked in
41:15
so thank you to everybody Ben I'm going to hand it back to you to just Hammer home lastly on this really important
41:21
message that explains the data Clearinghouse yeah tank stigles that was amazing uh
41:27
really puts a smile on my face when I hear you articulate things and um if if if anything what Benjamin has
41:35
figured out is how to talk to the dod and government contractors which is in a
41:40
in a massive way a skill that takes decades to learn and he's been able to
41:46
do it uh in a matter of a couple years um kind of the rocky story of getting
41:52
into government in federal uh and a lot of what Benjamin was talking about in
41:57
terms of those Milestones um you know I think he made a really great point on talking about
42:02
accountability right I think a lot of the community is like oh can we hit those deadlines are are we going to
42:08
deliver on those road maps I know we've made mistakes in the past uh and so you don't need to trust us you can trust the
42:14
fact that we have a client that's holding us accountable and a lot of those Milestones Stones actually run
42:20
parallel to what we are already building at constellation and the protocol
42:25
roadmap but things that you're going to hear is like smart content smart smart contract automation uh that needs to be
42:33
proven well that's just a hardened uh productization of the ACI right and so a
42:39
lot of these things will have different terms but we kind of run uh our our engineering roadmap in stride with this
42:46
uh while being held accountable to a massive customer and what I think that you know what we also haven't done a
42:52
good job of doing is talking about the Myriad of use cases that can come out of federal as Benjamin said this is the
42:59
largest data Creator they have massive budgets to understand comms or
43:04
Communications and data right that is the primary focus of the federal
43:10
government right now and government Prime uh such as like Lockheed CGI all these people have a clear path on how do
43:18
we secure comms over the world uh and that's a that's a huge line item
43:24
here uh so it's exciting to actually see that our our technology roadmap can be
43:29
reinforced by something uh like the Department of Defense that will have tons of use cases coming out of this
43:35
that's not what Benjamin's not even talking about are the use cases we're literally just hardening our technology
43:42
so that these Partners can go in and be like well we've got a use case for this we've got a use case for this and it's
43:48
just going to be never ending and that's kind of the trick in navigating a lot of federal on this next layer that's
43:54
exciting and so to bring it all home Benjamin and I sat sat down yesterday and we're like you know how do we just
44:01
make this super simple uh around what we're doing the value of dag why people
44:07
need dag what these application layers look like uh how do we single singularly
44:12
focus on data as our narrative because that's really what we're doing and uh we came up with this concept last week
44:18
around this like data clearing house that's really Orchestra by the hypergraph network of node operators the
44:25
node operators are really kind of this data Clearing House right they're putting the stamp and validation on the
44:30
on the data and then it's going out to data Brokers it's going into analytics it's going into AI it's going into
44:37
business intelligence tools there's a buying Market there's a using Market there's an end consumer that's going to
44:43
be seen data with more Integrity right it's not just about the brokering it's about using uh improved data for
44:51
analytics Ai and bi and so we put this kind of map together as it like it was a
44:56
very simple way to really ground our community ground our vision that you don't need to understand uh directed
45:03
basically graphs and topological ordering of data and the multi-layers of
45:08
consensus but really kind of understand a simple story around all of our partners are are really data providers
45:16
they're uh they're creating data for business intelligence purposes doors
45:21
going after the iot space Benjamin and internally were going after the federal space and really creating kind of a
45:29
framework that we can go deeper into those sectors and and industries uh and then metagraphs really open up the
45:35
channel for us to reach other data uh data streams and businesses that are outside our purview that are outside our
45:42
area of expertise advertising gaming Healthcare as we talked about and really
45:48
they're kind of just data pipelines and a lot of the applications whether it's a metagraph or these partners are creating
45:55
data pipelines that go through our data Clearinghouse or the hypergraph network and are submitting snapshots onto the
46:02
network um in each of those applications or each of those use or data pipelines are going
46:09
to eventually need uh dag to to pay a fee or a block prioritization fee when
46:16
the Network's congested to ensure that their data gets that stamp of approval it goes through the data Clearinghouse
46:22
that Network operators are incentivized correctly and we see this thing happening really really fast uh we
46:30
already have a handful of metagraphs that are ready to use this data API and
46:35
go live with us in the next couple of months that's exciting to us like this vision is going to Skyrocket overnight and it's
46:43
cool to see it come together in a very simple way in the past it was super complicated but now it can be simply
46:49
looked at this right we've got a data pipeline coming into these applications they submit a snapshot they validate the
46:55
data and then it goes through and it becomes analytics AI or it goes in through data brokering and each of those
47:02
applications when they need to they pay a fee in dag to secure a snapshot or
47:08
prioritize their block and really that's kind of what we're doing we're bringing web 3 tooling into web 2 Industries
47:16
where there's already massive budgets and problems to be solved
47:24
yeah yeah that was great I will say that like Facebook and Google they didn't
47:30
become valuable because of the like button and the poking features they gave me valuable because of data and it's
47:37
sort of their dirty secret they don't want people to know even though there's been like you know the social network moving and all these different things
47:43
telling people hey they're screwing people with their data but it shows you the value of this but uh well I gotta
47:49
wrap this up because I gotta get on a flight so uh thanks buddy this was fun I progress yeah that was a fun one yeah I
47:56
love it we never rehearse these things it's just just our bash Brothers I love it it's because we were in it all day
48:01
every day too much all right I love everybody thank you so much and uh I'll
48:06
be able to answer some questions maybe on telegram a little bit later but of course only those that I can answer so thanks Jorgensen and everybody have a
48:13
great day okay thanks all
yeah all right
