Forward slash State Defense Force.
5
00:00:12.480 --> 00:00:14.599
Now I'm going to give you another smile. There's another
6
00:00:14.640 --> 00:00:17.879
one we're debuting this year with a real exercise and
7
00:00:18.679 --> 00:00:23.879
real strength search and rescue. Search and rescue is not
8
00:00:23.920 --> 00:00:25.559
going to be a badge. Search and rescue is going
9
00:00:25.600 --> 00:00:30.160
to be a tab based of course, on New York's tab.
10
00:00:31.320 --> 00:00:35.079
So we're just basically bringing it back, because why redesign
11
00:00:35.159 --> 00:00:39.439
something that was already perfect, but the search and rescue tab.
12
00:00:39.479 --> 00:00:42.439
What we've done is we've got some officers and NCOs
13
00:00:42.479 --> 00:00:48.479
putting together a complete, nationally recognized, third party certified program
14
00:00:48.520 --> 00:00:53.479
for search and rescue. Because again, you know, you and I,
15
00:00:53.560 --> 00:00:56.560
mister Marciniak, are products of New York State Defense Force,
16
00:00:56.640 --> 00:00:59.880
but in our respective seats, we have to look at
17
00:00:59.880 --> 00:01:03.320
all all state defense forces. New York does not currently
18
00:01:03.320 --> 00:01:08.239
have a search and rescue program. Other states do. Other
19
00:01:08.280 --> 00:01:12.400
states have very very aggressive state defense force programs. We're
20
00:01:12.439 --> 00:01:15.640
putting some real training and badge behind that, and the
21
00:01:15.680 --> 00:01:18.359
badge being the tab. But I'm sure you realize the
22
00:01:18.439 --> 00:01:22.480
tab becomes very, very impressive. People love wearing them on
23
00:01:22.519 --> 00:01:26.319
the sleeve, and there can be other interesting scenarios where
24
00:01:26.319 --> 00:01:30.760
you start looking at just like in the army, does
25
00:01:30.799 --> 00:01:34.159
the tab belong on the right sleeve if they're an
26
00:01:34.200 --> 00:01:36.840
active member of that force, And those are going to
27
00:01:36.879 --> 00:01:40.120
be questions we'll have to add answer an actually individual
28
00:01:42.000 --> 00:01:44.439
state defense forces will have to answer that. But that
29
00:01:44.480 --> 00:01:49.120
tab will become available again this year under that new
30
00:01:49.159 --> 00:01:51.560
search and rescue program, and there will be a big
31
00:01:51.599 --> 00:01:53.480
exercise this year at the annual conference
