ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
Most people overlook a chilling truth: some pasts refuse to stay buried—and they can come back in the most unsettling ways. In this gripping episode of Suspense, Lloyd Nolan stars as Maury Swartz, a sharp-talking salesman who becomes entangled in a haunting mystery that could cost him everything—including his life.
Swartz’s journey begins with what seems like a routine business venture—finding a room in a sketchy Chicago neighborhood. But that room, once perfectly preserved as a shrine to a mysterious woman named Laverne, hides a sinister secret. As Swartz digs deeper, he uncovers connections that stretch far beyond a simple disappearance, leading to a dilapidated theater and a dark secret lurking in the shadows. From a closed theater on State Street to a strange, ominous phone number that refuses to be dialed, every step reveals a piece of the puzzle—and a danger that’s all too real.
You’ll discover:
How seemingly innocent clues—a picture, a key, a forgotten phone number—can unravel a hidden crime.
The unsettling psychology of obsession, and how it blurs the line between the past and present.
