Interview with matchmaker and dating mentor Shira Weitz

In the very first episode of Career Talk, Sabrina and Krisztina sit down with their dear friend Shira Weitz, a professional matchmaker and dating mentor who has spent years helping people navigate the often confusing world of modern dating.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Shira shares how she got into matchmaking, what the job actually looks like behind the scenes, and her expert advice on navigating modern dating. From common mistakes and unrealistic expectations to what truly matters when choosing a partner, this episode covers it all. The conversation also dives into the realities of being a matchmaker — including costs, client profiles, and the most rewarding (and most challenging) parts of the role — before wrapping up with Shira’s future plans.

Whether you’re single, curious about matchmaking, or fascinated by unconventional career paths, this episode offers honest insights and plenty of food for thought on love and relationships.
