ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
This episode originally broadcast on July 9, 2026. The original podcast post is here: https://pixelatedgeek.com/2026/07/binary-system-podcast-513-beastars-godzilla-minus-one-and-the-amazing-digital-circus/
Yes, we know we said on the previous episode that we would have a Welcome to Night Vale recap this week. But there wasn't a new episode posted, because Welcome to Night Vale is on hiatus in July. Welcome to Night Vale is always on hiatus in July. Twelve years on and you'd think we'd remember that...
So instead we've got a recap of season 3 episode 16 of Beastars (oh the angst, oh the unconvincing bait-and-switch from the end of episode 15...), and Elizabeth finally watched Godzilla Minus One so we need to talk about that. Elizabeth also has a lot of fun tidbits of information about The Amazing Digital Circus to discuss, because even the end of the series hasn't changed the fact that every bit of it has just eaten our brains.
This episode's outro is a clip from Final Flight by Chronox.
