we are from Disneyland for Ogi Bogie Bash. I keep
4
00:00:09.519 --> 00:00:12.640
my fingers crossed. It's going to work out good the show. Disney,
5
00:00:12.640 --> 00:00:15.640
Thank you so much. Also, if you are new to
6
00:00:15.679 --> 00:00:17.120
the show or you're just starting to follow us, you
7
00:00:17.160 --> 00:00:19.640
got any questions or stuff like that, I haven't gone
8
00:00:19.679 --> 00:00:23.839
through them. Always shoot in any questions. Fan, sake a
9
00:00:23.960 --> 00:00:27.280
show at Yahoo dot com. Best way I know. I say,
10
00:00:27.280 --> 00:00:29.039
do you on social media? I try to go through.
11
00:00:29.039 --> 00:00:33.119
That's take a show at your nerdside dot com. Yeah, comments,
12
00:00:33.359 --> 00:00:35.280
I don't wait too much.
13
00:00:35.600 --> 00:00:37.399
You can also do you at your dirt side or
14
00:00:37.479 --> 00:00:39.679
social media there. Okay. On the show, we're gonna be
15
00:00:39.719 --> 00:00:43.640
talking to actor Omri Katz. He is from the movie
16
00:00:44.000 --> 00:00:46.479
hocus Pocus, which plays every year.
17
00:00:46.840 --> 00:00:48.560
Nices you've ever interviewed.
18
00:00:48.640 --> 00:00:50.159
I was really getting long with them. We were really
19
00:00:50.359 --> 00:00:50.759
we were.
20
00:00:50.719 --> 00:00:52.799
Really to come over to our house.
21
00:00:53.320 --> 00:00:56.719
Even after the cameras stop rolling, We're all like, and
22
00:00:56.759 --> 00:00:58.920
we do, video is going to be up. Even when
23
00:00:58.920 --> 00:01:01.119
the camera'st out rolling. We just get talking about this
24
00:01:01.200 --> 00:01:03.079
sucks in Hollywood. I actually knew a lot of people.
25
00:01:03.119 --> 00:01:05.040
I knew that was so freaking.
26
00:01:04.760 --> 00:01:07.799
I say, he goes to the Texas Roadhouse with Eerie Indiana.
27
00:01:07.879 --> 00:01:10.040
He was on a lot of different movies and just
28
00:01:10.079 --> 00:01:12.640
stopped because he says, I just didn't like Hollywood.
29
00:01:12.680 --> 00:01:14.280
I didn't like the way they were then open like
30
00:01:14.319 --> 00:01:15.280
a cannabis business.
31
00:01:15.280 --> 00:01:16.640
He does do a cannabis we'll get it to that.
32
00:01:17.319 --> 00:01:19.079
We're gonna do today, first thing we've ever done. In
33
00:01:19.079 --> 00:01:22.079
between talking about stuff we're gonna be doing, are your
34
00:01:22.120 --> 00:01:24.439
nerd side. We're gonna call it nerd trivia, and I'm
35
00:01:24.439 --> 00:01:26.480
going to question you a few nerdy things. You can
36
00:01:26.519 --> 00:01:28.959
answer them, and also you can always answer him with us,
37
00:01:28.959 --> 00:01:31.359
shoot us on social media at your nerd side. It
38
00:01:31.400 --> 00:01:33.319
starts the show. Come right back. First thing I want
39
00:01:33.319 --> 00:01:35.120
to get into because the PaperWorks all over the place,
40
00:01:35.120 --> 00:01:38.319
soup tron aries, which I freaking loved, very good, and
41
00:01:38.400 --> 00:01:40.480
some gamers and stuff like that, and I was so
42
00:01:40.599 --> 00:01:43.959
blown away. Is I want something a toy and you
43
00:01:44.040 --> 00:01:45.840
actually found out where it is. I'm proud of you.
44
00:01:45.920 --> 00:01:48.719
Let's start to show welcome. You want a bunch of
45
00:01:48.760 --> 00:01:53.439
freaking nerds.
46
00:01:53.719 --> 00:01:58.159
Your personality popular quick I was kind of a lonely nerd.
47
00:01:58.200 --> 00:02:01.280
In high school, I started quilt, did yoga twice a week,
48
00:02:01.439 --> 00:02:15.120
were flip flops in public. So before we get into
49
00:02:15.280 --> 00:02:17.199
anything else, Tron Aries, let's do that first.
50
00:02:17.800 --> 00:02:18.960
You're still buzzing about it.
51
00:02:19.039 --> 00:02:22.400
No, well, not that it's a toy. So uh in
52
00:02:22.520 --> 00:02:26.560
the game room, we have Tron's, the original Tron Flynn's.
53
00:02:26.719 --> 00:02:30.039
I have his disc identity disk. I have a second disc,
54
00:02:30.120 --> 00:02:32.439
the white one I did and don't forget. Then then
55
00:02:32.479 --> 00:02:35.719
I have his son disc. And then in this movie
56
00:02:35.759 --> 00:02:41.840
with Aries, that's true too. Then in Aries, as has
57
00:02:41.879 --> 00:02:44.319
his own disc from the Dillinger Corporation, which is a
58
00:02:44.360 --> 00:02:46.719
triangle kind of And I wanted it. And you did
59
00:02:46.759 --> 00:02:48.840
some research on this and you found out before you
60
00:02:48.840 --> 00:02:49.840
even get into the movie.
61
00:02:50.000 --> 00:02:54.000
Uh where to get diss uh limited Kevin disc disc
62
00:02:54.080 --> 00:02:57.759
with lights, Bluetooth. I didn any chip compatible watching Disney
63
00:02:57.759 --> 00:03:00.560
Store dot com. I don't care about that. In Park
64
00:03:00.599 --> 00:03:03.080
and I did. This is true tomorrow Land launch depot
65
00:03:03.120 --> 00:03:07.240
drops checks same day, but it is at disney World
66
00:03:07.280 --> 00:03:08.960
because they had the light cycles of disney World, not
67
00:03:09.000 --> 00:03:11.000
at Disneyland, so when we were down there, I didn't
68
00:03:11.000 --> 00:03:14.719
see it. I want that. I want this the identity
69
00:03:14.719 --> 00:03:18.599
disc for Flynn, I mean for aries that one is
70
00:03:18.800 --> 00:03:19.759
dope bluetobe.
71
00:03:19.759 --> 00:03:20.960
So what is a Bluetooth depth.
72
00:03:21.319 --> 00:03:22.879
I don't care. I don't care. I don't want Bluetooth.
73
00:03:22.879 --> 00:03:24.240
I'm gonna use bluetooth, so I know, but.
74
00:03:24.159 --> 00:03:25.240
It's limited dishes.
75
00:03:25.479 --> 00:03:28.719
Woude the bluetooth I don't care about.
76
00:03:28.759 --> 00:03:30.680
You have to go to so you didn't find it
77
00:03:30.680 --> 00:03:32.159
in tomorrow Land When you went down.
78
00:03:32.199 --> 00:03:34.719
They had nothing, nothing with Troy and what the okay?
79
00:03:34.759 --> 00:03:37.680
So it did open up number one about thirty three million, but.
80
00:03:37.759 --> 00:03:40.840
Number one against nothing else. Plane is not that high.
81
00:03:40.919 --> 00:03:45.120
I know it went below expectations, but everyone who loved
82
00:03:45.120 --> 00:03:47.759
the movie go see it. It's so bake it make it.
83
00:03:48.000 --> 00:03:50.159
It's on Rotten Tomatoes. Rotten Tomatoes gave it like a
84
00:03:50.240 --> 00:03:54.000
sixty seven sixty seven percent, but that's average for all
85
00:03:54.039 --> 00:03:55.639
Tron movies. And then all of a sudden they get
86
00:03:55.680 --> 00:03:58.039
these the first one, the original Tron. All of a sudden,
87
00:03:58.039 --> 00:03:59.919
even Uncle walked up. I don't get it. I thought
88
00:04:00.120 --> 00:04:03.039
was born, but then I'm like, that was fantastic. Eventually
89
00:04:03.159 --> 00:04:06.240
just starts a full cult following, and a's second one.
90
00:04:06.240 --> 00:04:09.000
Everybody's oh, it's too slow and then everybody starts loving it.
91
00:04:09.080 --> 00:04:12.280
This one. The special effects were even bigger than the
92
00:04:12.360 --> 00:04:13.039
second one.
93
00:04:13.319 --> 00:04:15.840
I loved it well, and also Kevin Flynn returned, so
94
00:04:16.000 --> 00:04:18.920
it should satisfy legacy fans. But the problem was is
95
00:04:18.959 --> 00:04:22.000
that because it wasn't following up from the last Tron movie,
96
00:04:22.439 --> 00:04:25.120
pulling in new viewers may have been the reason why.
97
00:04:25.120 --> 00:04:27.120
But don't you regret not seeing IMAX?
98
00:04:27.240 --> 00:04:30.279
Yeah? I do, but I want to see it again. Yeah,
99
00:04:30.279 --> 00:04:32.000
I go see it again. The whole problem was.
100
00:04:32.319 --> 00:04:33.000
Again I want to see it.
101
00:04:33.000 --> 00:04:36.240
That I'm the problem with it is that I wanted it.
102
00:04:36.319 --> 00:04:38.519
I was like time had my son pick up. We
103
00:04:38.560 --> 00:04:40.680
had limited time. He was out of the front, so
104
00:04:40.759 --> 00:04:42.079
I had to go. I had to see it then.
105
00:04:42.439 --> 00:04:44.879
And I even like the popcorn bucket, which was you
106
00:04:44.920 --> 00:04:47.519
can check it out on your nerd side toys. It
107
00:04:47.560 --> 00:04:50.360
should be up like next week. It is a video
108
00:04:50.480 --> 00:04:54.360
actually video arcade game Aries is all on it. Lights
109
00:04:54.439 --> 00:04:56.120
up popcorn buck Are.
110
00:04:56.120 --> 00:04:58.879
You gonna show off your chest with your new Aries
111
00:04:58.959 --> 00:04:59.720
T shirt that you got?
112
00:05:00.000 --> 00:05:01.279
I didn't even see. I didn't even open.
113
00:05:02.480 --> 00:05:04.040
Look this is what it looks like. But in black
114
00:05:04.079 --> 00:05:07.040
Lo Lo Look, it's basically Aries with his bike in
115
00:05:07.160 --> 00:05:08.160
the real world.
116
00:05:08.279 --> 00:05:10.800
I liked it. Most people don't like him and j
117
00:05:10.959 --> 00:05:12.639
Letto A lot of people don't like.
118
00:05:12.839 --> 00:05:15.000
He's a great actor. Get over the personnelity. You are
119
00:05:15.040 --> 00:05:17.839
watching the movie, You're not watching the real life story.
120
00:05:17.920 --> 00:05:20.959
So Greta Lee did a great job. Greta Lee, who's
121
00:05:21.000 --> 00:05:24.079
also in the morning show on Apple plush Boy. She
122
00:05:24.160 --> 00:05:28.920
was even in the Global Global It's a Global Globe
123
00:05:29.000 --> 00:05:32.680
Awards with Seth Rogan's news series. So Greta Lee, what
124
00:05:32.720 --> 00:05:35.240
did you think of Greta Lee? Who is the love
125
00:05:35.319 --> 00:05:36.199
interest of Aris?
126
00:05:36.519 --> 00:05:37.879
Was she really a love interest?
127
00:05:38.360 --> 00:05:40.839
I think she he was fascinated by this. Why didn't
128
00:05:40.879 --> 00:05:43.360
kill her, captured her and destroy her? I thought you
129
00:05:43.480 --> 00:05:47.680
lost the plot of the movie. I humanity was in there.
130
00:05:47.720 --> 00:05:51.959
Oh my god, somebody film the floor on his back.
131
00:05:52.240 --> 00:05:56.839
Listen, listen. This movie is pretty visually. It's it's called
132
00:05:56.839 --> 00:06:00.199
designing it visually. It's appealing for all the nerds. Fun
133
00:06:00.240 --> 00:06:03.560
sake appointments were those one of the potential mance It's
134
00:06:03.560 --> 00:06:09.560
out there too.
135
00:06:07.360 --> 00:06:10.199
So the Dillinger Corporation. If you watch the original original
136
00:06:10.240 --> 00:06:15.240
Tron Dillinger was the bad guy that stole all the
137
00:06:15.560 --> 00:06:18.800
stuff from Flynn. The original Flynn his video games. The
138
00:06:18.800 --> 00:06:21.920
bad guy. Now eventually he got let go by the
139
00:06:22.519 --> 00:06:26.680
by InCom and he started up Dillinger Corporation itself. If
140
00:06:26.839 --> 00:06:30.639
if the grandson hadn't been as bad as the dad
141
00:06:30.839 --> 00:06:33.439
was trying to do things bad granddad, think your granddad,
142
00:06:33.439 --> 00:06:34.839
I think, I think it would be fine.
143
00:06:35.000 --> 00:06:37.439
No way, what happened at the end of tron Did
144
00:06:37.519 --> 00:06:39.879
I thought Dillinger was dead? I was so confused.
145
00:06:40.240 --> 00:06:43.040
No, his his computer was his computer was killed.
146
00:06:43.600 --> 00:06:44.920
His computer died, not him.
147
00:06:44.959 --> 00:06:49.000
Got his program was killed because the master and then
148
00:06:49.079 --> 00:06:51.959
master control was brought down to what he originally was.
149
00:06:53.199 --> 00:06:56.160
Any talk about Dillinger in the sequel.
150
00:06:56.360 --> 00:06:59.519
No, No, he just passed away and they couldn't use him.
151
00:06:59.720 --> 00:07:01.879
That was biggest throng. He passed away, got it, But
152
00:07:02.000 --> 00:07:05.319
Dillinger's grandson. The easter egg at the end is Dillinger
153
00:07:06.079 --> 00:07:08.560
has to get away from the cops, goes inside the
154
00:07:08.600 --> 00:07:11.000
computer because this whole thing is bringing them out of
155
00:07:11.000 --> 00:07:12.360
the computer, and how long they can be out of
156
00:07:12.399 --> 00:07:16.959
the computer, and they find a way. The easter egg
157
00:07:17.000 --> 00:07:21.480
roll fast is when the grandson goes into the computer
158
00:07:21.600 --> 00:07:24.120
and he has to get his identity disc. The identity
159
00:07:24.160 --> 00:07:27.160
disc turns it into looking exactly like you only see
160
00:07:27.199 --> 00:07:30.720
the shadow of his helmet the original Dillinger's program in
161
00:07:30.759 --> 00:07:34.040
the original Tron, we had the square things. No master
162
00:07:34.160 --> 00:07:36.959
control was the head one. That's the head computer. Dillinger
163
00:07:37.160 --> 00:07:42.920
just had was a program. You got it now, just
164
00:07:43.639 --> 00:07:45.519
like just like flint Head.
165
00:07:45.560 --> 00:07:48.639
Basically had a weird, ugly helmet his friend.
166
00:07:48.759 --> 00:07:51.480
I was excited to see it. I was like, I
167
00:07:51.519 --> 00:07:54.680
love this, she does this? Listen does the prep So
168
00:07:54.839 --> 00:07:58.360
sequel talk too early? Opening was under forecast, watch second
169
00:07:58.399 --> 00:08:01.519
week's holds in international legs before or green light chatter.
170
00:08:02.439 --> 00:08:05.000
They're not gonna make a sequel. They should, they should
171
00:08:05.279 --> 00:08:08.920
less buzz happening later on something happens, But so far
172
00:08:08.959 --> 00:08:11.240
they have made their money. But it is a great movie,
173
00:08:11.279 --> 00:08:14.279
great movie. All right, I'm gonna tell you guys this.
174
00:08:14.360 --> 00:08:17.519
I'm not supposed to, but I'm gonna do this. I
175
00:08:17.560 --> 00:08:20.519
went to Ogie Boogie Bash last week, which though to
176
00:08:20.519 --> 00:08:22.720
talk about its a live show from Disneyland, but I'm
177
00:08:22.720 --> 00:08:25.360
not gonna do that. You guys know, I pre recorded everything.
178
00:08:25.759 --> 00:08:28.480
It was good. It's all pre recorded for our next
179
00:08:28.480 --> 00:08:31.959
Halloween show. So I was tired, just freaking tired. It
180
00:08:32.039 --> 00:08:33.600
was was fantastic.
181
00:08:33.279 --> 00:08:35.879
On Instagram, great videos. Red Guardian got a shout out
182
00:08:35.879 --> 00:08:37.799
to that guy who played the Red Guardian.
183
00:08:37.799 --> 00:08:39.879
I'll post it up as the show is playing. You'll
184
00:08:39.879 --> 00:08:41.399
see if you go on social media or you go
185
00:08:41.399 --> 00:08:43.559
to a YouTube channel and your nerd side, you're gonna
186
00:08:43.559 --> 00:08:45.679
see Red Guardian talking to us for a good two
187
00:08:45.679 --> 00:08:50.120
to three minutes, great interview and talking to our videographer. No, no,
188
00:08:50.159 --> 00:08:51.720
it's just on my phone. I haven't got it's still
189
00:08:52.039 --> 00:08:54.720
put together. No non Instagram yet, I don't posted it.
190
00:08:55.080 --> 00:08:57.519
So Walt Disney World does not have Okie Boogie. They
191
00:08:57.559 --> 00:08:59.600
have Mikey Mickey's Not So Scary Night. Huh.
192
00:08:59.639 --> 00:09:02.480
I don't care about that. You don't because you know why.
193
00:09:03.080 --> 00:09:06.320
I went to Universal Studios for her story and my
194
00:09:06.399 --> 00:09:08.440
son Mattel had a great time screaming.
195
00:09:08.600 --> 00:09:10.320
So I used to go to that back in the
196
00:09:10.399 --> 00:09:14.360
days when I lived in LA But it is so
197
00:09:14.440 --> 00:09:15.080
well done.
198
00:09:14.919 --> 00:09:18.799
Because plan is just really But can I tell you
199
00:09:18.799 --> 00:09:21.679
in the Universal Studios, I mean there's blood everywhere.
200
00:09:21.759 --> 00:09:23.360
Gore, it's a movie studio.
201
00:09:23.519 --> 00:09:26.240
No, I agree. My point is, let me say, I
202
00:09:26.240 --> 00:09:29.840
can't tell you how many baby carriages people do not
203
00:09:29.919 --> 00:09:32.360
bring your babies where there's blood and gore and Jason
204
00:09:32.399 --> 00:09:34.519
and clowns with axes. What the fudd?
205
00:09:34.919 --> 00:09:38.240
So when I was married to my first wife, Keithu,
206
00:09:38.399 --> 00:09:40.720
and she was always gone, I didn't know where she
207
00:09:40.799 --> 00:09:43.320
was since she worked. We had a baby Areol. She's
208
00:09:43.320 --> 00:09:45.399
a little baby in my arms, like two years old.
209
00:09:45.759 --> 00:09:47.799
I went out my friend try I wanted to go
210
00:09:47.919 --> 00:09:50.840
to I put her in the baby jorn. She fell
211
00:09:50.840 --> 00:09:53.799
asleep inside there and they're scaring us and there is
212
00:09:53.799 --> 00:09:56.320
a zombie came out and goes, oh, you have a baby.
213
00:09:56.399 --> 00:09:58.879
I'm so sorry hid the baby. The zombie said this
214
00:09:59.240 --> 00:10:02.000
that's what you do when you a single dead No no, no,
215
00:10:01.360 --> 00:10:01.919
no no.
216
00:10:02.000 --> 00:10:03.039
But these are couples.
217
00:10:03.080 --> 00:10:05.759
So I'm just saying I just wanted to go yes
218
00:10:05.879 --> 00:10:08.279
father year. No not for doing that. So what was
219
00:10:08.279 --> 00:10:10.080
the highlight of going to Universal Horror Nights?
220
00:10:10.759 --> 00:10:14.080
I just think, well, they're well loved.
221
00:10:13.879 --> 00:10:16.320
It, Okay, So what he love? What was the highlight?
222
00:10:18.000 --> 00:10:21.279
The highlight? Well, he loved five nights at Freddy.
223
00:10:22.720 --> 00:10:23.679
Huh was he screaming?
224
00:10:23.840 --> 00:10:26.120
Not so much there the Jason one. I mean, I
225
00:10:26.159 --> 00:10:28.440
love the live actors. It was just back to back
226
00:10:28.480 --> 00:10:30.960
and stuff. But it was crowded, so packed. So when
227
00:10:31.000 --> 00:10:34.519
I went to Disneyland Oogie Boogie, it was nice and open,
228
00:10:34.639 --> 00:10:38.919
not crowded. I love that part. Universal was packed.
229
00:10:38.600 --> 00:10:41.879
Because they want to go, but a lot of did
230
00:10:41.879 --> 00:10:44.799
you do the front line? Did you do the front line?
231
00:10:45.840 --> 00:10:50.080
I did have special accommodations made for us.
232
00:10:50.080 --> 00:10:52.320
So, yes, there's a patch. Did you get the patch
233
00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:54.000
where they don't want you to scare him? They put
234
00:10:54.000 --> 00:10:55.559
a pin on you. Did you get that badge? You know?
235
00:10:55.879 --> 00:10:58.279
Mattia was open for it? Oh wow, yeah, No, he
236
00:10:58.360 --> 00:10:58.919
was really good.
237
00:10:58.960 --> 00:10:59.200
I was.
238
00:10:59.240 --> 00:11:01.159
I was laughing while he was screaming away.
239
00:11:01.200 --> 00:11:02.960
So was the money worth what you paid to get
240
00:11:02.960 --> 00:11:03.279
in there?
241
00:11:03.960 --> 00:11:06.480
No, not the hotel, but yes for this.
242
00:11:06.840 --> 00:11:10.519
Not the hotel, so I'll tell the Sheraton to open
243
00:11:10.519 --> 00:11:11.200
your door in mid night.
244
00:11:12.279 --> 00:11:13.519
Was not comfortable.
245
00:11:13.600 --> 00:11:16.159
So you had Universal Studios and this is Los Angeles.
246
00:11:16.399 --> 00:11:19.320
The hotel, you know, the Hilton, the Sheraton. They're so
247
00:11:19.440 --> 00:11:21.600
convenient because they're so close.
248
00:11:21.879 --> 00:11:23.720
Well, Brad Moore, about you guys, you give us some
249
00:11:23.720 --> 00:11:25.279
free tickets?
250
00:11:25.320 --> 00:11:27.360
All right? So tron areas came out. That was a
251
00:11:27.399 --> 00:11:31.120
thing going on. Uh, peacemaker real fast. I don't want
252
00:11:31.120 --> 00:11:32.759
to do spoilers anything like that.
253
00:11:32.639 --> 00:11:35.320
But I am spoilers, do it right now.
254
00:11:35.519 --> 00:11:39.279
So Peacemaker, we all saw it. Friend Ross, who always
255
00:11:39.279 --> 00:11:41.240
goes to all these different things of me, still has
256
00:11:41.320 --> 00:11:44.600
not seen Peacemakers. So and I'm like, as we're recording
257
00:11:44.759 --> 00:11:47.080
to the show, as we're no, he traces he can't.
258
00:11:47.240 --> 00:11:49.679
He says, you guys swill so much. She goes, I
259
00:11:49.679 --> 00:11:52.000
stopped listening. He's a listen all the time. He goes, no, no, no.
260
00:11:52.279 --> 00:11:56.360
He So as we're as I'm recording this right now
261
00:11:56.519 --> 00:12:00.159
and doing this show yesterday, he actually saw Peacemaker. So
262
00:12:00.200 --> 00:12:01.679
I don't watch it because he was home. He goes,
263
00:12:01.720 --> 00:12:04.399
I'm home watching it. So he goes, oh my god.
264
00:12:04.600 --> 00:12:07.080
When he found out Lex Luthor, the real actor from
265
00:12:07.120 --> 00:12:09.919
the News Superman, is in it, and he goes, oh
266
00:12:09.919 --> 00:12:11.840
my god. Then he calls me. Then he texts again.
267
00:12:11.879 --> 00:12:14.840
He goes, oh my god, there's an alternate universe. There's
268
00:12:14.919 --> 00:12:18.639
nazis there. Oh my god, blah blah blah. Final thing
269
00:12:18.879 --> 00:12:21.080
you find out it's going to tie into the new
270
00:12:21.240 --> 00:12:26.200
Superman somehow. Alternate dimensions. They found another world that they
271
00:12:26.200 --> 00:12:28.679
would heal through this door through a dimension and Peacemaker
272
00:12:28.759 --> 00:12:32.480
is the first prison. Yeah, but you hear monsters growling
273
00:12:32.519 --> 00:12:33.679
and stuff. You know it's going on.
274
00:12:33.840 --> 00:12:36.519
Who's growling too much? Are the fans so? Supposedly many
275
00:12:36.559 --> 00:12:39.840
fans felt that the finale was underwhelming and too busy
276
00:12:39.919 --> 00:12:41.200
setting up future films.
277
00:12:41.679 --> 00:12:42.399
But I loved it.
278
00:12:42.519 --> 00:12:45.879
But I agree there's something wrong with other fans have said,
279
00:12:45.919 --> 00:12:48.000
I honestly don't get why people are throwing so much
280
00:12:48.039 --> 00:12:51.200
hate at the finale. It sets up so many possibilities
281
00:12:51.200 --> 00:12:55.080
going forward. Even James Gunn made a comment, who's a creator.
282
00:12:55.120 --> 00:12:57.200
His wife is also one of the main actresses, says,
283
00:12:57.559 --> 00:13:00.960
I personally loved it, but it's completely fair if you didn't.
284
00:13:01.360 --> 00:13:04.720
I agree with James gun it was great work. Get
285
00:13:04.759 --> 00:13:05.720
off your high horse, people.
286
00:13:05.840 --> 00:13:07.480
I like him too. All right, Let's get a quick
287
00:13:07.519 --> 00:13:10.879
interview with an artist that we talked to or Omri
288
00:13:11.080 --> 00:13:15.039
Katz from hocus Pocus. Since it's Halloween time, spooky time.
289
00:13:15.600 --> 00:13:18.600
He is the kid that lights the candle in hocus Pocus.
290
00:13:18.600 --> 00:13:22.039
It was also in Uh, Freaky India, Indie Erie, Indiana,
291
00:13:22.240 --> 00:13:24.879
a few other things. Let's talk with him and remember
292
00:13:24.919 --> 00:13:28.039
all the interviews like last show we did uh what's
293
00:13:28.039 --> 00:13:30.559
his name? From your boyfriend that you're rubbing all over.
294
00:13:31.279 --> 00:13:33.080
Jackman no, the other.
295
00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:37.840
Boyfriend you are there? You no, Lou Lou Lou Diamond Phillips.
296
00:13:38.120 --> 00:13:39.919
Oh Lou Diamond, good looking guy. Huh.
297
00:13:40.000 --> 00:13:42.799

303
00:13:52.399 --> 00:13:54.720
Who's find Lady Over? I said? Who started it all
304
00:13:54.759 --> 00:13:56.039
in hocus Pocus?
305
00:13:56.120 --> 00:13:56.320
Right?
306
00:13:56.399 --> 00:13:59.240
So you started as a kid? I did? How did
307
00:13:59.279 --> 00:14:02.519
that happen? Did mom say, hey, we're taking to all
308
00:14:02.600 --> 00:14:05.679
these kids. Come on, you're coming with me. Yeah, we're
309
00:14:05.720 --> 00:14:08.919
going to this audition. She chased me and gagged me
310
00:14:09.000 --> 00:14:13.519
and was like, you're gonna make money for the family. No,
311
00:14:13.679 --> 00:14:16.360
but seriously, didn't start commercials and stuff like pretty much
312
00:14:16.480 --> 00:14:19.799
hell Oggs, Levi's what it was? It McDonald's. We're going
313
00:14:19.879 --> 00:14:20.320
to google it.
314
00:14:20.399 --> 00:14:20.759
I did.
315
00:14:20.960 --> 00:14:23.919
Actually a bunch of those different companies. That's Cereal, Commers,
316
00:14:24.639 --> 00:14:28.639
Stars Bees, McDonald's. I did, like even did like a
317
00:14:28.720 --> 00:14:31.759
Depends commercial firm, Like I was a little boy in
318
00:14:31.799 --> 00:14:36.679
the Grandma yeah, Grandma, yeah, pant again.
319
00:14:36.759 --> 00:14:37.720
You want some underwear?
320
00:14:37.840 --> 00:14:42.000
Gram No, but but yeah, that's kind of like just
321
00:14:42.440 --> 00:14:46.000
fell into it, and my parents decided to be like, hey,
322
00:14:46.159 --> 00:14:49.840
maybe we should find maybe maybe there's a good opportunity
323
00:14:49.840 --> 00:14:50.600
for him in the future.
324
00:14:50.639 --> 00:14:53.000
And so I just started booking, so look at it.
325
00:14:53.039 --> 00:14:55.879
But I know, you got hocus a list of things,
326
00:14:56.360 --> 00:14:59.159
and I'm blind, so he's kind of stuffy to it.
327
00:14:59.480 --> 00:15:03.000
And this you always get called back to conventions and everything.
328
00:15:03.120 --> 00:15:05.559
By Halloween is your busy freaking day. That would be
329
00:15:05.559 --> 00:15:07.440
a pretty busy time for you. You always doing. So do
330
00:15:07.440 --> 00:15:08.799
you keep up with the other guys because the two
331
00:15:08.799 --> 00:15:10.600
other guys that contact me, the.
332
00:15:10.519 --> 00:15:12.279
Ones that picked on you in the movie, yep, I
333
00:15:12.320 --> 00:15:15.799
forgot their names. Uh Larry Larry Yes and Tobias. I
334
00:15:15.799 --> 00:15:17.440
saw him in a car to them all the time,
335
00:15:17.519 --> 00:15:19.919
they say vants sakah because you know, may we're doing
336
00:15:19.960 --> 00:15:20.559
over Halloween.
337
00:15:20.600 --> 00:15:22.600
You can be gonna get promoter us for us because
338
00:15:22.639 --> 00:15:24.879
I do something on other stations at the radio and
339
00:15:24.879 --> 00:15:26.799
stuff like that, and I'm like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
340
00:15:26.679 --> 00:15:29.000
Yeah, okay, so I'm here. I want to do something.
341
00:15:29.039 --> 00:15:30.919
They don't use either all right, You're all right, all right,
342
00:15:31.360 --> 00:15:35.559
we're gonna call these guilty pleasures. Okay, So, yikes, I'll
343
00:15:35.559 --> 00:15:38.399
go first. So I have a guilty pleasure before I
344
00:15:38.440 --> 00:15:41.080
go do something. I park my car, I turn on
345
00:15:41.159 --> 00:15:44.559
Debbie Gibson only in my dreams and blareit and I
346
00:15:44.600 --> 00:15:45.399
get into mode.
347
00:15:45.559 --> 00:15:47.320
This is a guilty pleasure. I don't talk, Okay, I
348
00:15:47.399 --> 00:15:49.360
get in the mode and you'll do something. What's your
349
00:15:49.399 --> 00:15:52.639
guilty pleasure? Yikes, you caught me off guard. What is
350
00:15:52.759 --> 00:15:57.919
my guilty pleasure? Could be food? Yeah, I'm trying to think.
351
00:15:58.000 --> 00:16:00.360
Could be binge. Watching, could be a sh shirt you
352
00:16:00.399 --> 00:16:03.679
wear all the time, underwear, can be watchings, focus over
353
00:16:03.679 --> 00:16:05.600
and over again? How about this one?
354
00:16:06.080 --> 00:16:10.279
Sometimes I'll go several days without showering. You heard it
355
00:16:10.360 --> 00:16:13.759
here first, bus, Like, what's the point if I'm not
356
00:16:13.879 --> 00:16:15.279
running into anybody?
357
00:16:15.559 --> 00:16:18.399
What do I need to look clean and smell clean for? So?
358
00:16:18.639 --> 00:16:18.840
Oh?
359
00:16:19.240 --> 00:16:22.080

362
00:16:23.600 --> 00:16:28.919

00:16:43.840 --> 00:16:45.519
No, no, no, I'm just saying like like I just

00:16:45.559 --> 00:16:48.360
commented the key as retired. And whenever you hear this,
371
00:16:48.519 --> 00:16:51.759
happy birthday, mister Katz. May thirtieth is your birthday.
372
00:16:51.799 --> 00:16:53.360
Okay, I need to open it for this because we're
373
00:16:53.360 --> 00:16:55.159
going to do something really cool with you and fans.
374
00:16:55.200 --> 00:16:56.879
You want to play it long or need you go
375
00:16:57.600 --> 00:16:59.360
read to talk about games we were but I want
376
00:16:59.360 --> 00:17:01.039
to do this real. I want to do trivia.
377
00:17:01.080 --> 00:17:02.320
Let's see.
378
00:17:02.440 --> 00:17:05.880
We're gonna see how good ovendured on Maria is and
379
00:17:05.920 --> 00:17:07.759
I made these real easy. As we go on, they
380
00:17:07.799 --> 00:17:09.440
will get harder. Okay. Next week I'm gonna do it
381
00:17:09.440 --> 00:17:11.839
again and get a little harder for you. Okay. Number one.
382
00:17:12.480 --> 00:17:15.599
In Star Wars episode five, the Empire strits back. What
383
00:17:15.640 --> 00:17:20.839
does Darth Vay reveal to Luke Skywalker. I okay, that
384
00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:23.400
was easy. That was easy. Guys, have you got this
385
00:17:23.680 --> 00:17:25.720
or she can't figure it out? Let us know? What
386
00:17:25.839 --> 00:17:27.759
is the name of AI system? In two thousand and
387
00:17:27.799 --> 00:17:30.079
one of Space Odyssey. This is so easy.
388
00:17:30.480 --> 00:17:32.599
Hello, David, No, what's his name?
389
00:17:33.079 --> 00:17:36.920
What you're looking this up? Hold on, she's kidding.
390
00:17:38.160 --> 00:17:41.519
Matt's normal kid who acts as the Wow.
391
00:17:41.519 --> 00:17:43.680
I didn't think. All right, let's see this one in
392
00:17:43.759 --> 00:17:46.680
Back to the Future. She's been drunk.
393
00:17:46.799 --> 00:17:47.000
I know.
394
00:17:47.680 --> 00:17:49.880
In Back to the Future, what speed does the lore
395
00:17:50.039 --> 00:17:51.480
need to reach to travel through time?
396
00:17:51.759 --> 00:17:54.440
Let's see? Is it eighty or eighty eight miles per hour?
397
00:17:54.480 --> 00:17:55.359
Which one you're gonna go with?
398
00:17:56.200 --> 00:17:57.960
M eighty eight?
399
00:17:58.960 --> 00:18:01.920
What ninety? A nineteen eighty two sci fi film, features
400
00:18:01.960 --> 00:18:04.240
a line, I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
401
00:18:05.039 --> 00:18:06.079
Say them one more time.
402
00:18:06.240 --> 00:18:09.039
It's an eighty two motion picture, Okay, and they say,
403
00:18:09.119 --> 00:18:11.519
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
404
00:18:11.880 --> 00:18:17.519
Something Black? Is it Black Rumble, Black Raider, Black Ranger? No,
405
00:18:17.720 --> 00:18:18.599
something helped me out?
406
00:18:19.119 --> 00:18:21.960
Think again? What do you think it is? It's one
407
00:18:22.000 --> 00:18:25.119
of my favorite movies. Black has nothing to do with black,
408
00:18:25.359 --> 00:18:26.839
nothing nothing of black.
409
00:18:28.240 --> 00:18:29.079
I give up what.
410
00:18:29.720 --> 00:18:31.319
We'll get back to that one and the Matrix with
411
00:18:31.400 --> 00:18:32.519
color pill does Neil take?
412
00:18:33.640 --> 00:18:34.039
Wow?
413
00:18:34.279 --> 00:18:36.680
What is the name of the main antagonists? Ai and
414
00:18:36.720 --> 00:18:40.079
the Terminator franchise Sky Next Jesus Christ.
415
00:18:40.480 --> 00:18:40.839
All right?
416
00:18:40.880 --> 00:18:43.480
In Alien what is the name of the ship who?
417
00:18:43.640 --> 00:18:45.640
No, no, nor?
418
00:18:46.200 --> 00:18:48.480
I'm that would name so Traumo. I'm not gonna go
419
00:18:48.759 --> 00:18:50.920
she's getting good at this. What nineteen ninety seven sci
420
00:18:50.960 --> 00:18:53.079
fi film Sorres Bruce Willison Milichovich.
421
00:18:53.440 --> 00:18:56.359
Oh, only if I have that body the fifth element?
422
00:18:56.480 --> 00:18:58.839
Jesus. What does the engine in tart to stand for?
423
00:18:58.880 --> 00:18:59.559
In Doctor Who?
424
00:19:00.480 --> 00:19:01.480
Time and something?
425
00:19:01.799 --> 00:19:03.839
Time and relative? Oh?
426
00:19:03.839 --> 00:19:04.200
I don't know.
427
00:19:04.240 --> 00:19:06.160
You're mansion in space in Dune? What is the name
428
00:19:06.160 --> 00:19:10.680
of the desert planet avon Kiss? I thought you know that?
429
00:19:11.559 --> 00:19:13.720
Who directed Et and Extraterrestrial? Oh?
430
00:19:13.720 --> 00:19:14.440
Steven Spielberg.
431
00:19:14.480 --> 00:19:15.599
All right, we're gonna go back to that.
432
00:19:15.680 --> 00:19:18.200
Okaya, we don't need any more, do we.
433
00:19:18.480 --> 00:19:20.759
I love this. You're actually pretty good. I didn't think
434
00:19:20.759 --> 00:19:21.240
of any of this.
435
00:19:21.279 --> 00:19:21.799
No No.
436
00:19:21.880 --> 00:19:24.400
Ninetaen I eighty two sci fi film features the line
437
00:19:24.440 --> 00:19:27.200
I've seen people things you people would never believe. Answer
438
00:19:27.240 --> 00:19:30.240
Blade Runner, Okay, that's when he's dying. You don't remember that.
439
00:19:30.640 --> 00:19:31.759
I don't like Blade Runner.
440
00:19:32.400 --> 00:19:34.759
You're a nerd? What a nerd? All right, let's do
441
00:19:34.839 --> 00:19:37.599
some buzzing games. This is the let's call this call
442
00:19:37.640 --> 00:19:40.680
of duty Black Ops. Wight is blowing me away. Aeron.
443
00:19:40.680 --> 00:19:42.400
Michael wants to get this because his buddies are calling
444
00:19:42.480 --> 00:19:42.720
about it.
445
00:19:42.920 --> 00:19:45.240
This is stoked. Do you ever fixes their Xbox? What
446
00:19:45.440 --> 00:19:46.480
Xbox version is there?
447
00:19:46.559 --> 00:19:50.640
Now? I don't know Xbox, I have no I have
448
00:19:50.680 --> 00:19:51.160
no idea.
449
00:19:51.240 --> 00:19:53.240
You know, we spend so much time on the switch
450
00:19:53.319 --> 00:19:54.359
to exhaus.
451
00:19:54.640 --> 00:19:57.440
But he just hooked up the Xboxes. We're playing Battlefront yesterday.
452
00:19:57.440 --> 00:19:58.839
He wanted to play battle Front with me, so it's
453
00:19:58.880 --> 00:20:01.400
connected up. But it's a older version just to play
454
00:20:01.440 --> 00:20:02.400
battle battle Front.
455
00:20:02.920 --> 00:20:05.519
You can the Indiana Junes. But did you know number.
456
00:20:05.400 --> 00:20:08.559
Fourteenth Real fast Call of Duty Black Ops will be
457
00:20:08.640 --> 00:20:13.119
hitting the day one on game pass campaign. Okay, FYI guys,
458
00:20:13.160 --> 00:20:15.000
this puts real big. What were we going to say, did.
459
00:20:14.799 --> 00:20:19.200
You know Indiana June's is coming to switch to Oh?
460
00:20:19.319 --> 00:20:21.640
Really, I don't think that. I don't think the quality
461
00:20:21.680 --> 00:20:23.720
is going to be as good as it is on Xbox.
462
00:20:23.720 --> 00:20:24.000
Of it that.
463
00:20:24.200 --> 00:20:26.480
So, would you get an Xbox for a tron video game?
464
00:20:26.480 --> 00:20:27.559
Because I don't think you have one?
465
00:20:27.880 --> 00:20:28.720
No?
466
00:20:28.960 --> 00:20:32.039
Okay, So Call of Duty Black Ops seven is the
467
00:20:32.079 --> 00:20:34.720
biggest game out there. What's going to take you to
468
00:20:34.799 --> 00:20:37.559
buy a new Xbox? What? Because if Indiana.
469
00:20:37.640 --> 00:20:40.119
Jones has to ask for it for Christmas? And just
470
00:20:40.759 --> 00:20:41.200
how much a.
471
00:20:41.160 --> 00:20:42.440
Lot do you need to say that for him to
472
00:20:42.480 --> 00:20:43.880
hear it.
473
00:20:44.559 --> 00:20:46.720
He's getting well. When they're getting older and older and older,
474
00:20:46.720 --> 00:20:48.200
it's hard to find a present. So if they can't
475
00:20:48.240 --> 00:20:50.400
tell you money college, if they just tell me a
476
00:20:50.759 --> 00:20:51.920
good president, give.
477
00:20:51.880 --> 00:20:55.240
Him the jellycat plush toy trend that's going on. That's
478
00:20:55.279 --> 00:20:56.160
so freaking ugly.
479
00:20:56.519 --> 00:21:00.799
Jesus No, no real fast skate story twelve eight comes out,
480
00:21:01.000 --> 00:21:04.240
Ghosts of Yodel that launched already, it's on ps five.
481
00:21:05.319 --> 00:21:09.079
What's the review saying? Will you tell me? Ird side man?
482
00:21:09.240 --> 00:21:11.480
I could have video games. I'm done, I'm done with
483
00:21:11.799 --> 00:21:15.160
I'm jelly done with this these squishmellows. As you were
484
00:21:15.160 --> 00:21:17.839
talking about the squish mellows, another big one from McDonald's
485
00:21:18.319 --> 00:21:21.279
And uh, you know what really ticks me off? You
486
00:21:21.319 --> 00:21:23.599
know what chops my hide? Do you want to know
487
00:21:23.640 --> 00:21:27.720
what it does? You want to know? No, McDonald's used
488
00:21:27.720 --> 00:21:30.039
to be the freaking place to go to get toys.
489
00:21:30.559 --> 00:21:32.960
Now they have that what is that band from Japan?
490
00:21:33.759 --> 00:21:34.519
Let's take a moment.
491
00:21:34.839 --> 00:21:38.680
Remember the Muppets, No, no, I remember Star Trek the
492
00:21:38.680 --> 00:21:39.720
motion picture came out.
493
00:21:39.799 --> 00:21:40.960
Now you have better ones that night.
494
00:21:41.079 --> 00:21:44.359
Oh Star Trek the motion they used to have likes
495
00:21:44.599 --> 00:21:46.839
for me. A watch you pop open they have all
496
00:21:46.839 --> 00:21:49.960
these communicators in it. And then the cardboard box the
497
00:21:49.960 --> 00:21:52.400
food actually came in. You pop it out and you
498
00:21:52.440 --> 00:21:57.079
can build each one of the different ships in start
499
00:21:57.079 --> 00:21:59.960
Too must picture. So I built the Enterprise and mcgrana
500
00:22:00.039 --> 00:22:01.440
gotta go background and go to back and he'd get
501
00:22:01.480 --> 00:22:03.160
all my stuff. I get my little plastic thing that
502
00:22:03.240 --> 00:22:06.440
want my chest that was the Enterprise, the Star Trek logo,
503
00:22:06.519 --> 00:22:09.440
and I'm walking around going led long and prosper. Finally
504
00:22:09.440 --> 00:22:11.519
I got the box with the Klingons, so I put
505
00:22:11.559 --> 00:22:14.759
the Klingons because you can't have a war without a
506
00:22:14.799 --> 00:22:18.200
Klingon and an Enterprise going head to head because that's
507
00:22:18.279 --> 00:22:18.880
Star Trek.
508
00:22:18.880 --> 00:22:20.799
There's a lot of movies that say otherwise, but keep
509
00:22:20.799 --> 00:22:21.440
going and.
510
00:22:22.319 --> 00:22:24.039
You can't have a Star Trek war without it. But
511
00:22:24.079 --> 00:22:27.559
long story short, the Happy Meals went there here selling
512
00:22:27.799 --> 00:22:31.559
who's that pop band that's real big from Japan or
513
00:22:31.559 --> 00:22:32.119
from Korea?
514
00:22:32.279 --> 00:22:35.039
Well, the South Korea, there's thing called k pop that's
515
00:22:35.079 --> 00:22:36.039
the type of well who.
516
00:22:35.960 --> 00:22:38.799
Are those kids they have? And it's been there because
517
00:22:38.839 --> 00:22:40.880
Aaron Ic always goes, sometimes I want pancakes. I go,
518
00:22:40.880 --> 00:22:43.319
you're getting McDonald's because gott get your school. They give
519
00:22:43.359 --> 00:22:45.319
away all these K pop You can get one of
520
00:22:45.359 --> 00:22:48.480
the k pop those kids from the Japanese you're talking.
521
00:22:48.359 --> 00:22:51.279
About that All boy group. Yeah, they have tons of money,
522
00:22:51.279 --> 00:22:55.000
which they name, what's their name? What's their name?
523
00:22:55.039 --> 00:22:57.240
They were makeup and they weren't makeup, No.
524
00:22:57.279 --> 00:23:00.039
Not bt BT. And then there's black Pain.
525
00:23:01.359 --> 00:23:04.359
If they sing that song, but butter something butter so
526
00:23:04.519 --> 00:23:07.720
butter Uh. You get their toys at them at McDonald's.
527
00:23:07.720 --> 00:23:09.799
It hasn't been there. Usually they keep things for a movie.
528
00:23:09.839 --> 00:23:11.640
So if Tron came out, you get your Tron toys,
529
00:23:12.240 --> 00:23:14.079
then you get this. They didn't do any toys.
530
00:23:13.880 --> 00:23:16.880
Well, because that's what's really big right now.
531
00:23:17.839 --> 00:23:21.559
But usually, but it's been going on for three months.
532
00:23:21.599 --> 00:23:24.119
You can get those K pop toys in there. And
533
00:23:24.279 --> 00:23:26.240
I was like, Aaron, Mike, you want that? He goes,
534
00:23:26.480 --> 00:23:29.000
do not put that near me? Dad, do not put that.
535
00:23:29.240 --> 00:23:31.039
So that's all I gotta say is it's really went
536
00:23:31.079 --> 00:23:32.839
down here with that. They went real heavy.
537
00:23:32.960 --> 00:23:35.640
Yeah, I don't think the Tweins think that way. So
538
00:23:35.640 --> 00:23:36.680
what else it's on the show. Are you going to
539
00:23:36.720 --> 00:23:39.720
talk about the Dean Museum anime art museum in the
540
00:23:39.759 --> 00:23:43.839
popularity of that No, No, No, over seven hundred original works.
541
00:23:44.000 --> 00:23:48.039
I just Francisco, I just need if you have any comments, questions,
542
00:23:48.119 --> 00:23:49.960
or anything like that, reach out to us as social media.
543
00:23:50.079 --> 00:23:52.519
I promise you, Uh, next week you go through that,
544
00:23:52.680 --> 00:23:55.119
I am going to start reading. Yes, I will start.
545
00:23:54.960 --> 00:24:00.359
Reading every tons on your your nerd side comments. I
546
00:24:00.400 --> 00:24:02.920
actually do know every Monday on YouTube there'll be a
547
00:24:03.039 --> 00:24:07.799
new posting also whenever he posts on the podcast wherever
548
00:24:07.839 --> 00:24:09.519
you stream, but it's also going to be on his
549
00:24:09.599 --> 00:24:12.519
YouTube channel at your nerd side. But I have a
550
00:24:12.519 --> 00:24:16.440
big question. October seventeenth, early festival reviews show positive and
551
00:24:16.519 --> 00:24:18.359
dark and I'm scared. Are you gonna take me to
552
00:24:18.400 --> 00:24:20.359
see Black Foam two? Because I'm too scared.
553
00:24:20.680 --> 00:24:23.240
It came out Let's up came out yesterday?
554
00:24:24.000 --> 00:24:25.599
Well, I don't know, maybe that was yesterday.
555
00:24:25.599 --> 00:24:28.200
Already saw that what's the reviews? I didn't pay attention.
556
00:24:28.279 --> 00:24:28.880
I have no issue.
557
00:24:28.920 --> 00:24:29.799
I just watched it.
558
00:24:30.039 --> 00:24:31.720
I didn't watch it. I said it came out yesterday.
559
00:24:31.759 --> 00:24:32.799
It came out Thursday night.
560
00:24:32.839 --> 00:24:36.440
Because the guy from what's that show? Uh, that's shown
561
00:24:36.519 --> 00:24:40.079
slay your dragon? The last dragon? What's the guy? You
562
00:24:40.119 --> 00:24:41.000
know what I'm talking about?
563
00:24:41.200 --> 00:24:42.119
How to train your dragon?
564
00:24:42.200 --> 00:24:44.400
How to train your dragon is in its christ? What
565
00:24:44.599 --> 00:24:46.359
a nerd? What a nerd?
566
00:24:48.160 --> 00:24:48.680
What about it?
567
00:24:49.039 --> 00:24:51.640
I am asking you. You said you watched it. I
568
00:24:51.839 --> 00:24:53.920
never saw the okay, so you have no interest in
569
00:24:54.000 --> 00:24:54.359
seeing it?
570
00:24:54.599 --> 00:24:57.400
No, you should. You need to see Weapons first, That's
571
00:24:57.400 --> 00:24:58.000
what you need to see.
572
00:24:58.079 --> 00:25:00.240
Why did you tell the audience how weapons is? And
573
00:25:00.279 --> 00:25:02.480
then good reviews it? C is it good?
574
00:25:03.000 --> 00:25:05.119
It's it's suspenseful, and it's all over the place, and
575
00:25:05.160 --> 00:25:07.200
I don't want to ruin it. It comes out on
576
00:25:07.640 --> 00:25:11.200
HBO Max on the twenty second. You got it'll be
577
00:25:11.279 --> 00:25:12.279
a October twenty second.
578
00:25:12.279 --> 00:25:13.799
And when you go to see black Phone too, just
579
00:25:13.920 --> 00:25:16.440
no expectation, be a little bit lower. The script is
580
00:25:16.480 --> 00:25:20.799
weaker in places. He's a common issue on the check line.
581
00:25:20.960 --> 00:25:22.400
Of course I am because I'm not going to watch it.
582
00:25:22.720 --> 00:25:23.680
It knows a solid approval.
583
00:25:23.759 --> 00:25:25.440
But the first one was great. The second one, how
584
00:25:25.480 --> 00:25:27.759
can you bring back one and done? It's done?
585
00:25:28.319 --> 00:25:29.119
It was really good.
586
00:25:29.279 --> 00:25:30.720
You should have the first one that let it go.
587
00:25:30.960 --> 00:25:32.839
You gotta let it go the same thing with like
588
00:25:32.880 --> 00:25:35.720
Stranger Things, Stranger things. If they're taking this long and
589
00:25:35.799 --> 00:25:37.559
the kids are already married, and they're already one of
590
00:25:37.599 --> 00:25:42.200
them's pregnant having kids already, and they're still in high school,
591
00:25:42.759 --> 00:25:43.519
it's just confusing.
592
00:25:43.559 --> 00:25:45.519
Well, what's up, Oh, you're talking about stranger things.
593
00:25:45.599 --> 00:25:48.079
Yeah, stranger things, which it's took like what ten years
594
00:25:48.160 --> 00:25:48.599
to come out?
595
00:25:48.839 --> 00:25:50.720
Yeah, okay, But if you're too tired to go through
596
00:25:50.759 --> 00:25:53.359
the movie theaters like we are, Leslie's story is a
597
00:25:53.440 --> 00:25:57.640
new Stephens King novel, Adoption. Stevens King actually made the
598
00:25:57.759 --> 00:26:01.160
screenplay When does this mats and sleep? And when is
599
00:26:01.279 --> 00:26:04.799
Julie and Moore sleep? So it follows the story two
600
00:26:04.880 --> 00:26:08.240
years after depth of her husband, who's the best selling novelist.
601
00:26:08.359 --> 00:26:13.480
So if you want suspense with strong acting, remember Loyaltists.
602
00:26:13.640 --> 00:26:16.079
You know, since King himself wrote all eight episodes, the
603
00:26:16.160 --> 00:26:19.559
Adoption stays close to the novel in many ways and
604
00:26:19.799 --> 00:26:22.400
keeping it the thing is a frequent complaint is that
605
00:26:22.480 --> 00:26:24.480
it takes too long to get in drag. Some parts
606
00:26:24.559 --> 00:26:29.160
I agree, some of the narrative is comfuty agree. But
607
00:26:29.279 --> 00:26:32.440
if you're a fan Stephen King comfortable with slow, you'll
608
00:26:32.519 --> 00:26:35.759
love it. It got me engaged in the beginning, but
609
00:26:35.839 --> 00:26:37.359
it is a little bit slow. So if you want
610
00:26:37.440 --> 00:26:40.480
something that maybe need some influence to enjoy it a
611
00:26:40.480 --> 00:26:42.680
little bit more, that's fine. But if you want something
612
00:26:42.720 --> 00:26:45.880
that's not all horror and gore, check out Steven sky
613
00:26:46.039 --> 00:26:51.920
Leslie Store on Apple TV. E Well maybe he does sing.
614
00:26:52.400 --> 00:26:55.680
You know what? What I lost train of thought?
615
00:26:56.240 --> 00:26:58.240
Remember Stephen King? That was on What's that show that
616
00:26:58.279 --> 00:27:00.400
you showed me? The transmit Tree? Do you want to
617
00:27:00.400 --> 00:27:01.160
tell everyone about that?
618
00:27:01.519 --> 00:27:05.880
They know about creepshow? Leaving King is in so many
619
00:27:05.920 --> 00:27:06.839
things we gotta wrap up.
620
00:27:07.359 --> 00:27:10.160
But you said last week you'll bring some nostalgia back
621
00:27:10.240 --> 00:27:11.240
and what people should do?
622
00:27:11.519 --> 00:27:12.480
Will you forgot?
623
00:27:16.160 --> 00:27:17.119
What is it called again?
624
00:27:17.559 --> 00:27:21.480
Nostalgia? No, the show, it's called your nerd side. Let's
625
00:27:21.519 --> 00:27:23.880
wrap it up. Hey, guys, we'll talk to you next week.
626
00:27:24.119 --> 00:27:26.799
Anything you need, reach out on social media, your nerd
627
00:27:26.920 --> 00:27:27.200
side
1
00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:02.759
So we're inside the month of October getting ready for
2
00:00:02.839 --> 00:00:05.440
a Halloween specially coming to you in the month that
3
00:00:05.519 --> 00:00:09.519
we are from Disneyland for Ogi Bogie Bash. I keep
4
00:00:09.519 --> 00:00:12.640
my fingers crossed. It's going to work out good the show. Disney,
5
00:00:12.640 --> 00:00:15.640
Thank you so much. Also, if you are new to
6
00:00:15.679 --> 00:00:17.120
the show or you're just starting to follow us, you
7
00:00:17.160 --> 00:00:19.640
got any questions or stuff like that, I haven't gone
8
00:00:19.679 --> 00:00:23.839
through them. Always shoot in any questions. Fan, sake a
9
00:00:23.960 --> 00:00:27.280
show at Yahoo dot com. Best way I know. I say,
10
00:00:27.280 --> 00:00:29.039
do you on social media? I try to go through.
11
00:00:29.039 --> 00:00:33.119
That's take a show at your nerdside dot com. Yeah, comments,
12
00:00:33.359 --> 00:00:35.280
I don't wait too much.
13
00:00:35.600 --> 00:00:37.399
You can also do you at your dirt side or
14
00:00:37.479 --> 00:00:39.679
social media there. Okay. On the show, we're gonna be
15
00:00:39.719 --> 00:00:43.640
talking to actor Omri Katz. He is from the movie
16
00:00:44.000 --> 00:00:46.479
hocus Pocus, which plays every year.
17
00:00:46.840 --> 00:00:48.560
Nices you've ever interviewed.
18
00:00:48.640 --> 00:00:50.159
I was really getting long with them. We were really
19
00:00:50.359 --> 00:00:50.759
we were.
20
00:00:50.719 --> 00:00:52.799
Really to come over to our house.
21
00:00:53.320 --> 00:00:56.719
Even after the cameras stop rolling, We're all like, and
22
00:00:56.759 --> 00:00:58.920
we do, video is going to be up. Even when
23
00:00:58.920 --> 00:01:01.119
the camera'st out rolling. We just get talking about this
24
00:01:01.200 --> 00:01:03.079
sucks in Hollywood. I actually knew a lot of people.
25
00:01:03.119 --> 00:01:05.040
I knew that was so freaking.
26
00:01:04.760 --> 00:01:07.799
I say, he goes to the Texas Roadhouse with Eerie Indiana.
27
00:01:07.879 --> 00:01:10.040
He was on a lot of different movies and just
28
00:01:10.079 --> 00:01:12.640
stopped because he says, I just didn't like Hollywood.
29
00:01:12.680 --> 00:01:14.280
I didn't like the way they were then open like
30
00:01:14.319 --> 00:01:15.280
a cannabis business.
31
00:01:15.280 --> 00:01:16.640
He does do a cannabis we'll get it to that.
32
00:01:17.319 --> 00:01:19.079
We're gonna do today, first thing we've ever done. In
33
00:01:19.079 --> 00:01:22.079
between talking about stuff we're gonna be doing, are your
34
00:01:22.120 --> 00:01:24.439
nerd side. We're gonna call it nerd trivia, and I'm
35
00:01:24.439 --> 00:01:26.480
going to question you a few nerdy things. You can
36
00:01:26.519 --> 00:01:28.959
answer them, and also you can always answer him with us,
37
00:01:28.959 --> 00:01:31.359
shoot us on social media at your nerd side. It
38
00:01:31.400 --> 00:01:33.319
starts the show. Come right back. First thing I want
39
00:01:33.319 --> 00:01:35.120
to get into because the PaperWorks all over the place,
40
00:01:35.120 --> 00:01:38.319
soup tron aries, which I freaking loved, very good, and
41
00:01:38.400 --> 00:01:40.480
some gamers and stuff like that, and I was so
42
00:01:40.599 --> 00:01:43.959
blown away. Is I want something a toy and you
43
00:01:44.040 --> 00:01:45.840
actually found out where it is. I'm proud of you.
44
00:01:45.920 --> 00:01:48.719
Let's start to show welcome. You want a bunch of
45
00:01:48.760 --> 00:01:53.439
freaking nerds.
46
00:01:53.719 --> 00:01:58.159
Your personality popular quick I was kind of a lonely nerd.
47
00:01:58.200 --> 00:02:01.280
In high school, I started quilt, did yoga twice a week,
48
00:02:01.439 --> 00:02:15.120
were flip flops in public. So before we get into
49
00:02:15.280 --> 00:02:17.199
anything else, Tron Aries, let's do that first.
50
00:02:17.800 --> 00:02:18.960
You're still buzzing about it.
51
00:02:19.039 --> 00:02:22.400
No, well, not that it's a toy. So uh in
52
00:02:22.520 --> 00:02:26.560
the game room, we have Tron's, the original Tron Flynn's.
53
00:02:26.719 --> 00:02:30.039
I have his disc identity disk. I have a second disc,
54
00:02:30.120 --> 00:02:32.439
the white one I did and don't forget. Then then
55
00:02:32.479 --> 00:02:35.719
I have his son disc. And then in this movie
56
00:02:35.759 --> 00:02:41.840
with Aries, that's true too. Then in Aries, as has
57
00:02:41.879 --> 00:02:44.319
his own disc from the Dillinger Corporation, which is a
58
00:02:44.360 --> 00:02:46.719
triangle kind of And I wanted it. And you did
59
00:02:46.759 --> 00:02:48.840
some research on this and you found out before you
60
00:02:48.840 --> 00:02:49.840
even get into the movie.
61
00:02:50.000 --> 00:02:54.000
Uh where to get diss uh limited Kevin disc disc
62
00:02:54.080 --> 00:02:57.759
with lights, Bluetooth. I didn any chip compatible watching Disney
63
00:02:57.759 --> 00:03:00.560
Store dot com. I don't care about that. In Park
64
00:03:00.599 --> 00:03:03.080
and I did. This is true tomorrow Land launch depot
65
00:03:03.120 --> 00:03:07.240
drops checks same day, but it is at disney World
66
00:03:07.280 --> 00:03:08.960
because they had the light cycles of disney World, not
67
00:03:09.000 --> 00:03:11.000
at Disneyland, so when we were down there, I didn't
68
00:03:11.000 --> 00:03:14.719
see it. I want that. I want this the identity
69
00:03:14.719 --> 00:03:18.599
disc for Flynn, I mean for aries that one is
70
00:03:18.800 --> 00:03:19.759
dope bluetobe.
71
00:03:19.759 --> 00:03:20.960
So what is a Bluetooth depth.
72
00:03:21.319 --> 00:03:22.879
I don't care. I don't care. I don't want Bluetooth.
73
00:03:22.879 --> 00:03:24.240
I'm gonna use bluetooth, so I know, but.
74
00:03:24.159 --> 00:03:25.240
It's limited dishes.
75
00:03:25.479 --> 00:03:28.719
Woude the bluetooth I don't care about.
76
00:03:28.759 --> 00:03:30.680
You have to go to so you didn't find it
77
00:03:30.680 --> 00:03:32.159
in tomorrow Land When you went down.
78
00:03:32.199 --> 00:03:34.719
They had nothing, nothing with Troy and what the okay?
79
00:03:34.759 --> 00:03:37.680
So it did open up number one about thirty three million, but.
80
00:03:37.759 --> 00:03:40.840
Number one against nothing else. Plane is not that high.
81
00:03:40.919 --> 00:03:45.120
I know it went below expectations, but everyone who loved
82
00:03:45.120 --> 00:03:47.759
the movie go see it. It's so bake it make it.
83
00:03:48.000 --> 00:03:50.159
It's on Rotten Tomatoes. Rotten Tomatoes gave it like a
84
00:03:50.240 --> 00:03:54.000
sixty seven sixty seven percent, but that's average for all
85
00:03:54.039 --> 00:03:55.639
Tron movies. And then all of a sudden they get
86
00:03:55.680 --> 00:03:58.039
these the first one, the original Tron. All of a sudden,
87
00:03:58.039 --> 00:03:59.919
even Uncle walked up. I don't get it. I thought
88
00:04:00.120 --> 00:04:03.039
was born, but then I'm like, that was fantastic. Eventually
89
00:04:03.159 --> 00:04:06.240
just starts a full cult following, and a's second one.
90
00:04:06.240 --> 00:04:09.000
Everybody's oh, it's too slow and then everybody starts loving it.
91
00:04:09.080 --> 00:04:12.280
This one. The special effects were even bigger than the
92
00:04:12.360 --> 00:04:13.039
second one.
93
00:04:13.319 --> 00:04:15.840
I loved it well, and also Kevin Flynn returned, so
94
00:04:16.000 --> 00:04:18.920
it should satisfy legacy fans. But the problem was is
95
00:04:18.959 --> 00:04:22.000
that because it wasn't following up from the last Tron movie,
96
00:04:22.439 --> 00:04:25.120
pulling in new viewers may have been the reason why.
97
00:04:25.120 --> 00:04:27.120
But don't you regret not seeing IMAX?
98
00:04:27.240 --> 00:04:30.279
Yeah? I do, but I want to see it again. Yeah,
99
00:04:30.279 --> 00:04:32.000
I go see it again. The whole problem was.
100
00:04:32.319 --> 00:04:33.000
Again I want to see it.
101
00:04:33.000 --> 00:04:36.240
That I'm the problem with it is that I wanted it.
102
00:04:36.319 --> 00:04:38.519
I was like time had my son pick up. We
103
00:04:38.560 --> 00:04:40.680
had limited time. He was out of the front, so
104
00:04:40.759 --> 00:04:42.079
I had to go. I had to see it then.
105
00:04:42.439 --> 00:04:44.879
And I even like the popcorn bucket, which was you
106
00:04:44.920 --> 00:04:47.519
can check it out on your nerd side toys. It
107
00:04:47.560 --> 00:04:50.360
should be up like next week. It is a video
108
00:04:50.480 --> 00:04:54.360
actually video arcade game Aries is all on it. Lights
109
00:04:54.439 --> 00:04:56.120
up popcorn buck Are.
110
00:04:56.120 --> 00:04:58.879
You gonna show off your chest with your new Aries
111
00:04:58.959 --> 00:04:59.720
T shirt that you got?
112
00:05:00.000 --> 00:05:01.279
I didn't even see. I didn't even open.
113
00:05:02.480 --> 00:05:04.040
Look this is what it looks like. But in black
114
00:05:04.079 --> 00:05:07.040
Lo Lo Look, it's basically Aries with his bike in
115
00:05:07.160 --> 00:05:08.160
the real world.
116
00:05:08.279 --> 00:05:10.800
I liked it. Most people don't like him and j
117
00:05:10.959 --> 00:05:12.639
Letto A lot of people don't like.
118
00:05:12.839 --> 00:05:15.000
He's a great actor. Get over the personnelity. You are
119
00:05:15.040 --> 00:05:17.839
watching the movie, You're not watching the real life story.
120
00:05:17.920 --> 00:05:20.959
So Greta Lee did a great job. Greta Lee, who's
121
00:05:21.000 --> 00:05:24.079
also in the morning show on Apple plush Boy. She
122
00:05:24.160 --> 00:05:28.920
was even in the Global Global It's a Global Globe
123
00:05:29.000 --> 00:05:32.680
Awards with Seth Rogan's news series. So Greta Lee, what
124
00:05:32.720 --> 00:05:35.240
did you think of Greta Lee? Who is the love
125
00:05:35.319 --> 00:05:36.199
interest of Aris?
126
00:05:36.519 --> 00:05:37.879
Was she really a love interest?
127
00:05:38.360 --> 00:05:40.839
I think she he was fascinated by this. Why didn't
128
00:05:40.879 --> 00:05:43.360
kill her, captured her and destroy her? I thought you
129
00:05:43.480 --> 00:05:47.680
lost the plot of the movie. I humanity was in there.
130
00:05:47.720 --> 00:05:51.959
Oh my god, somebody film the floor on his back.
131
00:05:52.240 --> 00:05:56.839
Listen, listen. This movie is pretty visually. It's it's called
132
00:05:56.839 --> 00:06:00.199
designing it visually. It's appealing for all the nerds. Fun
133
00:06:00.240 --> 00:06:03.560
sake appointments were those one of the potential mance It's
134
00:06:03.560 --> 00:06:09.560
out there too.
135
00:06:07.360 --> 00:06:10.199
So the Dillinger Corporation. If you watch the original original
136
00:06:10.240 --> 00:06:15.240
Tron Dillinger was the bad guy that stole all the
137
00:06:15.560 --> 00:06:18.800
stuff from Flynn. The original Flynn his video games. The
138
00:06:18.800 --> 00:06:21.920
bad guy. Now eventually he got let go by the
139
00:06:22.519 --> 00:06:26.680
by InCom and he started up Dillinger Corporation itself. If
140
00:06:26.839 --> 00:06:30.639
if the grandson hadn't been as bad as the dad
141
00:06:30.839 --> 00:06:33.439
was trying to do things bad granddad, think your granddad,
142
00:06:33.439 --> 00:06:34.839
I think, I think it would be fine.
143
00:06:35.000 --> 00:06:37.439
No way, what happened at the end of tron Did
144
00:06:37.519 --> 00:06:39.879
I thought Dillinger was dead? I was so confused.
145
00:06:40.240 --> 00:06:43.040
No, his his computer was his computer was killed.
146
00:06:43.600 --> 00:06:44.920
His computer died, not him.
147
00:06:44.959 --> 00:06:49.000
Got his program was killed because the master and then
148
00:06:49.079 --> 00:06:51.959
master control was brought down to what he originally was.
149
00:06:53.199 --> 00:06:56.160
Any talk about Dillinger in the sequel.
150
00:06:56.360 --> 00:06:59.519
No, No, he just passed away and they couldn't use him.
151
00:06:59.720 --> 00:07:01.879
That was biggest throng. He passed away, got it, But
152
00:07:02.000 --> 00:07:05.319
Dillinger's grandson. The easter egg at the end is Dillinger
153
00:07:06.079 --> 00:07:08.560
has to get away from the cops, goes inside the
154
00:07:08.600 --> 00:07:11.000
computer because this whole thing is bringing them out of
155
00:07:11.000 --> 00:07:12.360
the computer, and how long they can be out of
156
00:07:12.399 --> 00:07:16.959
the computer, and they find a way. The easter egg
157
00:07:17.000 --> 00:07:21.480
roll fast is when the grandson goes into the computer
158
00:07:21.600 --> 00:07:24.120
and he has to get his identity disc. The identity
159
00:07:24.160 --> 00:07:27.160
disc turns it into looking exactly like you only see
160
00:07:27.199 --> 00:07:30.720
the shadow of his helmet the original Dillinger's program in
161
00:07:30.759 --> 00:07:34.040
the original Tron, we had the square things. No master
162
00:07:34.160 --> 00:07:36.959
control was the head one. That's the head computer. Dillinger
163
00:07:37.160 --> 00:07:42.920
just had was a program. You got it now, just
164
00:07:43.639 --> 00:07:45.519
like just like flint Head.
165
00:07:45.560 --> 00:07:48.639
Basically had a weird, ugly helmet his friend.
166
00:07:48.759 --> 00:07:51.480
I was excited to see it. I was like, I
167
00:07:51.519 --> 00:07:54.680
love this, she does this? Listen does the prep So
168
00:07:54.839 --> 00:07:58.360
sequel talk too early? Opening was under forecast, watch second
169
00:07:58.399 --> 00:08:01.519
week's holds in international legs before or green light chatter.
170
00:08:02.439 --> 00:08:05.000
They're not gonna make a sequel. They should, they should
171
00:08:05.279 --> 00:08:08.920
less buzz happening later on something happens, But so far
172
00:08:08.959 --> 00:08:11.240
they have made their money. But it is a great movie,
173
00:08:11.279 --> 00:08:14.279
great movie. All right, I'm gonna tell you guys this.
174
00:08:14.360 --> 00:08:17.519
I'm not supposed to, but I'm gonna do this. I
175
00:08:17.560 --> 00:08:20.519
went to Ogie Boogie Bash last week, which though to
176
00:08:20.519 --> 00:08:22.720
talk about its a live show from Disneyland, but I'm
177
00:08:22.720 --> 00:08:25.360
not gonna do that. You guys know, I pre recorded everything.
178
00:08:25.759 --> 00:08:28.480
It was good. It's all pre recorded for our next
179
00:08:28.480 --> 00:08:31.959
Halloween show. So I was tired, just freaking tired. It
180
00:08:32.039 --> 00:08:33.600
was was fantastic.
181
00:08:33.279 --> 00:08:35.879
On Instagram, great videos. Red Guardian got a shout out
182
00:08:35.879 --> 00:08:37.799
to that guy who played the Red Guardian.
183
00:08:37.799 --> 00:08:39.879
I'll post it up as the show is playing. You'll
184
00:08:39.879 --> 00:08:41.399
see if you go on social media or you go
185
00:08:41.399 --> 00:08:43.559
to a YouTube channel and your nerd side, you're gonna
186
00:08:43.559 --> 00:08:45.679
see Red Guardian talking to us for a good two
187
00:08:45.679 --> 00:08:50.120
to three minutes, great interview and talking to our videographer. No, no,
188
00:08:50.159 --> 00:08:51.720
it's just on my phone. I haven't got it's still
189
00:08:52.039 --> 00:08:54.720
put together. No non Instagram yet, I don't posted it.
190
00:08:55.080 --> 00:08:57.519
So Walt Disney World does not have Okie Boogie. They
191
00:08:57.559 --> 00:08:59.600
have Mikey Mickey's Not So Scary Night. Huh.
192
00:08:59.639 --> 00:09:02.480
I don't care about that. You don't because you know why.
193
00:09:03.080 --> 00:09:06.320
I went to Universal Studios for her story and my
194
00:09:06.399 --> 00:09:08.440
son Mattel had a great time screaming.
195
00:09:08.600 --> 00:09:10.320
So I used to go to that back in the
196
00:09:10.399 --> 00:09:14.360
days when I lived in LA But it is so
197
00:09:14.440 --> 00:09:15.080
well done.
198
00:09:14.919 --> 00:09:18.799
Because plan is just really But can I tell you
199
00:09:18.799 --> 00:09:21.679
in the Universal Studios, I mean there's blood everywhere.
200
00:09:21.759 --> 00:09:23.360
Gore, it's a movie studio.
201
00:09:23.519 --> 00:09:26.240
No, I agree. My point is, let me say, I
202
00:09:26.240 --> 00:09:29.840
can't tell you how many baby carriages people do not
203
00:09:29.919 --> 00:09:32.360
bring your babies where there's blood and gore and Jason
204
00:09:32.399 --> 00:09:34.519
and clowns with axes. What the fudd?
205
00:09:34.919 --> 00:09:38.240
So when I was married to my first wife, Keithu,
206
00:09:38.399 --> 00:09:40.720
and she was always gone, I didn't know where she
207
00:09:40.799 --> 00:09:43.320
was since she worked. We had a baby Areol. She's
208
00:09:43.320 --> 00:09:45.399
a little baby in my arms, like two years old.
209
00:09:45.759 --> 00:09:47.799
I went out my friend try I wanted to go
210
00:09:47.919 --> 00:09:50.840
to I put her in the baby jorn. She fell
211
00:09:50.840 --> 00:09:53.799
asleep inside there and they're scaring us and there is
212
00:09:53.799 --> 00:09:56.320
a zombie came out and goes, oh, you have a baby.
213
00:09:56.399 --> 00:09:58.879
I'm so sorry hid the baby. The zombie said this
214
00:09:59.240 --> 00:10:02.000
that's what you do when you a single dead No no, no,
215
00:10:01.360 --> 00:10:01.919
no no.
216
00:10:02.000 --> 00:10:03.039
But these are couples.
217
00:10:03.080 --> 00:10:05.759
So I'm just saying I just wanted to go yes
218
00:10:05.879 --> 00:10:08.279
father year. No not for doing that. So what was
219
00:10:08.279 --> 00:10:10.080
the highlight of going to Universal Horror Nights?
220
00:10:10.759 --> 00:10:14.080
I just think, well, they're well loved.
221
00:10:13.879 --> 00:10:16.320
It, Okay, So what he love? What was the highlight?
222
00:10:18.000 --> 00:10:21.279
The highlight? Well, he loved five nights at Freddy.
223
00:10:22.720 --> 00:10:23.679
Huh was he screaming?
224
00:10:23.840 --> 00:10:26.120
Not so much there the Jason one. I mean, I
225
00:10:26.159 --> 00:10:28.440
love the live actors. It was just back to back
226
00:10:28.480 --> 00:10:30.960
and stuff. But it was crowded, so packed. So when
227
00:10:31.000 --> 00:10:34.519
I went to Disneyland Oogie Boogie, it was nice and open,
228
00:10:34.639 --> 00:10:38.919
not crowded. I love that part. Universal was packed.
229
00:10:38.600 --> 00:10:41.879
Because they want to go, but a lot of did
230
00:10:41.879 --> 00:10:44.799
you do the front line? Did you do the front line?
231
00:10:45.840 --> 00:10:50.080
I did have special accommodations made for us.
232
00:10:50.080 --> 00:10:52.320
So, yes, there's a patch. Did you get the patch
233
00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:54.000
where they don't want you to scare him? They put
234
00:10:54.000 --> 00:10:55.559
a pin on you. Did you get that badge? You know?
235
00:10:55.879 --> 00:10:58.279
Mattia was open for it? Oh wow, yeah, No, he
236
00:10:58.360 --> 00:10:58.919
was really good.
237
00:10:58.960 --> 00:10:59.200
I was.
238
00:10:59.240 --> 00:11:01.159
I was laughing while he was screaming away.
239
00:11:01.200 --> 00:11:02.960
So was the money worth what you paid to get
240
00:11:02.960 --> 00:11:03.279
in there?
241
00:11:03.960 --> 00:11:06.480
No, not the hotel, but yes for this.
242
00:11:06.840 --> 00:11:10.519
Not the hotel, so I'll tell the Sheraton to open
243
00:11:10.519 --> 00:11:11.200
your door in mid night.
244
00:11:12.279 --> 00:11:13.519
Was not comfortable.
245
00:11:13.600 --> 00:11:16.159
So you had Universal Studios and this is Los Angeles.
246
00:11:16.399 --> 00:11:19.320
The hotel, you know, the Hilton, the Sheraton. They're so
247
00:11:19.440 --> 00:11:21.600
convenient because they're so close.
248
00:11:21.879 --> 00:11:23.720
Well, Brad Moore, about you guys, you give us some
249
00:11:23.720 --> 00:11:25.279
free tickets?
250
00:11:25.320 --> 00:11:27.360
All right? So tron areas came out. That was a
251
00:11:27.399 --> 00:11:31.120
thing going on. Uh, peacemaker real fast. I don't want
252
00:11:31.120 --> 00:11:32.759
to do spoilers anything like that.
253
00:11:32.639 --> 00:11:35.320
But I am spoilers, do it right now.
254
00:11:35.519 --> 00:11:39.279
So Peacemaker, we all saw it. Friend Ross, who always
255
00:11:39.279 --> 00:11:41.240
goes to all these different things of me, still has
256
00:11:41.320 --> 00:11:44.600
not seen Peacemakers. So and I'm like, as we're recording
257
00:11:44.759 --> 00:11:47.080
to the show, as we're no, he traces he can't.
258
00:11:47.240 --> 00:11:49.679
He says, you guys swill so much. She goes, I
259
00:11:49.679 --> 00:11:52.000
stopped listening. He's a listen all the time. He goes, no, no, no.
260
00:11:52.279 --> 00:11:56.360
He So as we're as I'm recording this right now
261
00:11:56.519 --> 00:12:00.159
and doing this show yesterday, he actually saw Peacemaker. So
262
00:12:00.200 --> 00:12:01.679
I don't watch it because he was home. He goes,
263
00:12:01.720 --> 00:12:04.399
I'm home watching it. So he goes, oh my god.
264
00:12:04.600 --> 00:12:07.080
When he found out Lex Luthor, the real actor from
265
00:12:07.120 --> 00:12:09.919
the News Superman, is in it, and he goes, oh
266
00:12:09.919 --> 00:12:11.840
my god. Then he calls me. Then he texts again.
267
00:12:11.879 --> 00:12:14.840
He goes, oh my god, there's an alternate universe. There's
268
00:12:14.919 --> 00:12:18.639
nazis there. Oh my god, blah blah blah. Final thing
269
00:12:18.879 --> 00:12:21.080
you find out it's going to tie into the new
270
00:12:21.240 --> 00:12:26.200
Superman somehow. Alternate dimensions. They found another world that they
271
00:12:26.200 --> 00:12:28.679
would heal through this door through a dimension and Peacemaker
272
00:12:28.759 --> 00:12:32.480
is the first prison. Yeah, but you hear monsters growling
273
00:12:32.519 --> 00:12:33.679
and stuff. You know it's going on.
274
00:12:33.840 --> 00:12:36.519
Who's growling too much? Are the fans so? Supposedly many
275
00:12:36.559 --> 00:12:39.840
fans felt that the finale was underwhelming and too busy
276
00:12:39.919 --> 00:12:41.200
setting up future films.
277
00:12:41.679 --> 00:12:42.399
But I loved it.
278
00:12:42.519 --> 00:12:45.879
But I agree there's something wrong with other fans have said,
279
00:12:45.919 --> 00:12:48.000
I honestly don't get why people are throwing so much
280
00:12:48.039 --> 00:12:51.200
hate at the finale. It sets up so many possibilities
281
00:12:51.200 --> 00:12:55.080
going forward. Even James Gunn made a comment, who's a creator.
282
00:12:55.120 --> 00:12:57.200
His wife is also one of the main actresses, says,
283
00:12:57.559 --> 00:13:00.960
I personally loved it, but it's completely fair if you didn't.
284
00:13:01.360 --> 00:13:04.720
I agree with James gun it was great work. Get
285
00:13:04.759 --> 00:13:05.720
off your high horse, people.
286
00:13:05.840 --> 00:13:07.480
I like him too. All right, Let's get a quick
287
00:13:07.519 --> 00:13:10.879
interview with an artist that we talked to or Omri
288
00:13:11.080 --> 00:13:15.039
Katz from hocus Pocus. Since it's Halloween time, spooky time.
289
00:13:15.600 --> 00:13:18.600
He is the kid that lights the candle in hocus Pocus.
290
00:13:18.600 --> 00:13:22.039
It was also in Uh, Freaky India, Indie Erie, Indiana,
291
00:13:22.240 --> 00:13:24.879
a few other things. Let's talk with him and remember
292
00:13:24.919 --> 00:13:28.039
all the interviews like last show we did uh what's
293
00:13:28.039 --> 00:13:30.559
his name? From your boyfriend that you're rubbing all over.
294
00:13:31.279 --> 00:13:33.080
Jackman no, the other.
295
00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:37.840
Boyfriend you are there? You no, Lou Lou Lou Diamond Phillips.
296
00:13:38.120 --> 00:13:39.919
Oh Lou Diamond, good looking guy. Huh.
297
00:13:40.000 --> 00:13:42.799

303
00:13:52.399 --> 00:13:54.720
Who's find Lady Over? I said? Who started it all
304
00:13:54.759 --> 00:13:56.039
in hocus Pocus?
305
00:13:56.120 --> 00:13:56.320
Right?
306
00:13:56.399 --> 00:13:59.240
So you started as a kid? I did? How did
307
00:13:59.279 --> 00:14:02.519
that happen? Did mom say, hey, we're taking to all
308
00:14:02.600 --> 00:14:05.679
these kids. Come on, you're coming with me. Yeah, we're
309
00:14:05.720 --> 00:14:08.919
going to this audition. She chased me and gagged me
310
00:14:09.000 --> 00:14:13.519
and was like, you're gonna make money for the family. No,
311
00:14:13.679 --> 00:14:16.360
but seriously, didn't start commercials and stuff like pretty much
312
00:14:16.480 --> 00:14:19.799
hell Oggs, Levi's what it was? It McDonald's. We're going
313
00:14:19.879 --> 00:14:20.320
to google it.
314
00:14:20.399 --> 00:14:20.759
I did.
315
00:14:20.960 --> 00:14:23.919
Actually a bunch of those different companies. That's Cereal, Commers,
316
00:14:24.639 --> 00:14:28.639
Stars Bees, McDonald's. I did, like even did like a
317
00:14:28.720 --> 00:14:31.759
Depends commercial firm, Like I was a little boy in
318
00:14:31.799 --> 00:14:36.679
the Grandma yeah, Grandma, yeah, pant again.
319
00:14:36.759 --> 00:14:37.720
You want some underwear?
320
00:14:37.840 --> 00:14:42.000
Gram No, but but yeah, that's kind of like just
321
00:14:42.440 --> 00:14:46.000
fell into it, and my parents decided to be like, hey,
322
00:14:46.159 --> 00:14:49.840
maybe we should find maybe maybe there's a good opportunity
323
00:14:49.840 --> 00:14:50.600
for him in the future.
324
00:14:50.639 --> 00:14:53.000
And so I just started booking, so look at it.
325
00:14:53.039 --> 00:14:55.879
But I know, you got hocus a list of things,
326
00:14:56.360 --> 00:14:59.159
and I'm blind, so he's kind of stuffy to it.
327
00:14:59.480 --> 00:15:03.000
And this you always get called back to conventions and everything.
328
00:15:03.120 --> 00:15:05.559
By Halloween is your busy freaking day. That would be
329
00:15:05.559 --> 00:15:07.440
a pretty busy time for you. You always doing. So do
330
00:15:07.440 --> 00:15:08.799
you keep up with the other guys because the two
331
00:15:08.799 --> 00:15:10.600
other guys that contact me, the.
332
00:15:10.519 --> 00:15:12.279
Ones that picked on you in the movie, yep, I
333
00:15:12.320 --> 00:15:15.799
forgot their names. Uh Larry Larry Yes and Tobias. I
334
00:15:15.799 --> 00:15:17.440
saw him in a car to them all the time,
335
00:15:17.519 --> 00:15:19.919
they say vants sakah because you know, may we're doing
336
00:15:19.960 --> 00:15:20.559
over Halloween.
337
00:15:20.600 --> 00:15:22.600
You can be gonna get promoter us for us because
338
00:15:22.639 --> 00:15:24.879
I do something on other stations at the radio and
339
00:15:24.879 --> 00:15:26.799
stuff like that, and I'm like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
340
00:15:26.679 --> 00:15:29.000
Yeah, okay, so I'm here. I want to do something.
341
00:15:29.039 --> 00:15:30.919
They don't use either all right, You're all right, all right,
342
00:15:31.360 --> 00:15:35.559
we're gonna call these guilty pleasures. Okay, So, yikes, I'll
343
00:15:35.559 --> 00:15:38.399
go first. So I have a guilty pleasure before I
344
00:15:38.440 --> 00:15:41.080
go do something. I park my car, I turn on
345
00:15:41.159 --> 00:15:44.559
Debbie Gibson only in my dreams and blareit and I
346
00:15:44.600 --> 00:15:45.399
get into mode.
347
00:15:45.559 --> 00:15:47.320
This is a guilty pleasure. I don't talk, Okay, I
348
00:15:47.399 --> 00:15:49.360
get in the mode and you'll do something. What's your
349
00:15:49.399 --> 00:15:52.639
guilty pleasure? Yikes, you caught me off guard. What is
350
00:15:52.759 --> 00:15:57.919
my guilty pleasure? Could be food? Yeah, I'm trying to think.
351
00:15:58.000 --> 00:16:00.360
Could be binge. Watching, could be a sh shirt you
352
00:16:00.399 --> 00:16:03.679
wear all the time, underwear, can be watchings, focus over
353
00:16:03.679 --> 00:16:05.600
and over again? How about this one?
354
00:16:06.080 --> 00:16:10.279
Sometimes I'll go several days without showering. You heard it
355
00:16:10.360 --> 00:16:13.759
here first, bus, Like, what's the point if I'm not
356
00:16:13.879 --> 00:16:15.279
running into anybody?
357
00:16:15.559 --> 00:16:18.399
What do I need to look clean and smell clean for? So?
358
00:16:18.639 --> 00:16:18.840
Oh?
359
00:16:19.240 --> 00:16:22.080
This, guys, I appreciate you hanging out man. What's your
360
00:16:22.080 --> 00:16:22.960
social media handle?
361
00:16:23.240 --> 00:16:23.480
Own?
362
00:16:23.600 --> 00:16:28.919
It's dankster underscore olms arms. I love good luck finding
363
00:16:28.960 --> 00:16:31.879
it this bos I need him? There you go, Thank you, sir.
364
00:16:32.320 --> 00:16:34.559
Again. Give it about a week and if you want
365
00:16:34.600 --> 00:16:36.279
to see the videos where I'm talking with him and
366
00:16:36.320 --> 00:16:39.000
all that stuff. More detail, you go to your nerd
367
00:16:39.120 --> 00:16:42.080
side interviews we have it there or your nerdside dot com.
368
00:16:42.080 --> 00:16:43.799
So what games your buddy gore you to say?
369
00:16:43.840 --> 00:16:45.519
No, no, no, I'm just saying like like I just
370
00:16:45.559 --> 00:16:48.360
commented the key as retired. And whenever you hear this,
371
00:16:48.519 --> 00:16:51.759
happy birthday, mister Katz. May thirtieth is your birthday.
372
00:16:51.799 --> 00:16:53.360
Okay, I need to open it for this because we're
373
00:16:53.360 --> 00:16:55.159
going to do something really cool with you and fans.
374
00:16:55.200 --> 00:16:56.879
You want to play it long or need you go
375
00:16:57.600 --> 00:16:59.360
read to talk about games we were but I want
376
00:16:59.360 --> 00:17:01.039
to do this real. I want to do trivia.
377
00:17:01.080 --> 00:17:02.320
Let's see.
378
00:17:02.440 --> 00:17:05.880
We're gonna see how good ovendured on Maria is and
379
00:17:05.920 --> 00:17:07.759
I made these real easy. As we go on, they
380
00:17:07.799 --> 00:17:09.440
will get harder. Okay. Next week I'm gonna do it
381
00:17:09.440 --> 00:17:11.839
again and get a little harder for you. Okay. Number one.
382
00:17:12.480 --> 00:17:15.599
In Star Wars episode five, the Empire strits back. What
383
00:17:15.640 --> 00:17:20.839
does Darth Vay reveal to Luke Skywalker. I okay, that
384
00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:23.400
was easy. That was easy. Guys, have you got this
385
00:17:23.680 --> 00:17:25.720
or she can't figure it out? Let us know? What
386
00:17:25.839 --> 00:17:27.759
is the name of AI system? In two thousand and
387
00:17:27.799 --> 00:17:30.079
one of Space Odyssey. This is so easy.
388
00:17:30.480 --> 00:17:32.599
Hello, David, No, what's his name?
389
00:17:33.079 --> 00:17:36.920
What you're looking this up? Hold on, she's kidding.
390
00:17:38.160 --> 00:17:41.519
Matt's normal kid who acts as the Wow.
391
00:17:41.519 --> 00:17:43.680
I didn't think. All right, let's see this one in
392
00:17:43.759 --> 00:17:46.680
Back to the Future. She's been drunk.
393
00:17:46.799 --> 00:17:47.000
I know.
394
00:17:47.680 --> 00:17:49.880
In Back to the Future, what speed does the lore
395
00:17:50.039 --> 00:17:51.480
need to reach to travel through time?
396
00:17:51.759 --> 00:17:54.440
Let's see? Is it eighty or eighty eight miles per hour?
397
00:17:54.480 --> 00:17:55.359
Which one you're gonna go with?
398
00:17:56.200 --> 00:17:57.960
M eighty eight?
399
00:17:58.960 --> 00:18:01.920
What ninety? A nineteen eighty two sci fi film, features
400
00:18:01.960 --> 00:18:04.240
a line, I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
401
00:18:05.039 --> 00:18:06.079
Say them one more time.
402
00:18:06.240 --> 00:18:09.039
It's an eighty two motion picture, Okay, and they say,
403
00:18:09.119 --> 00:18:11.519
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
404
00:18:11.880 --> 00:18:17.519
Something Black? Is it Black Rumble, Black Raider, Black Ranger? No,
405
00:18:17.720 --> 00:18:18.599
something helped me out?
406
00:18:19.119 --> 00:18:21.960
Think again? What do you think it is? It's one
407
00:18:22.000 --> 00:18:25.119
of my favorite movies. Black has nothing to do with black,
408
00:18:25.359 --> 00:18:26.839
nothing nothing of black.
409
00:18:28.240 --> 00:18:29.079
I give up what.
410
00:18:29.720 --> 00:18:31.319
We'll get back to that one and the Matrix with
411
00:18:31.400 --> 00:18:32.519
color pill does Neil take?
412
00:18:33.640 --> 00:18:34.039
Wow?
413
00:18:34.279 --> 00:18:36.680
What is the name of the main antagonists? Ai and
414
00:18:36.720 --> 00:18:40.079
the Terminator franchise Sky Next Jesus Christ.
415
00:18:40.480 --> 00:18:40.839
All right?
416
00:18:40.880 --> 00:18:43.480
In Alien what is the name of the ship who?
417
00:18:43.640 --> 00:18:45.640
No, no, nor?
418
00:18:46.200 --> 00:18:48.480
I'm that would name so Traumo. I'm not gonna go
419
00:18:48.759 --> 00:18:50.920
she's getting good at this. What nineteen ninety seven sci
420
00:18:50.960 --> 00:18:53.079
fi film Sorres Bruce Willison Milichovich.
421
00:18:53.440 --> 00:18:56.359
Oh, only if I have that body the fifth element?
422
00:18:56.480 --> 00:18:58.839
Jesus. What does the engine in tart to stand for?
423
00:18:58.880 --> 00:18:59.559
In Doctor Who?
424
00:19:00.480 --> 00:19:01.480
Time and something?
425
00:19:01.799 --> 00:19:03.839
Time and relative? Oh?
426
00:19:03.839 --> 00:19:04.200
I don't know.
427
00:19:04.240 --> 00:19:06.160
You're mansion in space in Dune? What is the name
428
00:19:06.160 --> 00:19:10.680
of the desert planet avon Kiss? I thought you know that?
429
00:19:11.559 --> 00:19:13.720
Who directed Et and Extraterrestrial? Oh?
430
00:19:13.720 --> 00:19:14.440
Steven Spielberg.
431
00:19:14.480 --> 00:19:15.599
All right, we're gonna go back to that.
432
00:19:15.680 --> 00:19:18.200
Okaya, we don't need any more, do we.
433
00:19:18.480 --> 00:19:20.759
I love this. You're actually pretty good. I didn't think
434
00:19:20.759 --> 00:19:21.240
of any of this.
435
00:19:21.279 --> 00:19:21.799
No No.
436
00:19:21.880 --> 00:19:24.400
Ninetaen I eighty two sci fi film features the line
437
00:19:24.440 --> 00:19:27.200
I've seen people things you people would never believe. Answer
438
00:19:27.240 --> 00:19:30.240
Blade Runner, Okay, that's when he's dying. You don't remember that.
439
00:19:30.640 --> 00:19:31.759
I don't like Blade Runner.
440
00:19:32.400 --> 00:19:34.759
You're a nerd? What a nerd? All right, let's do
441
00:19:34.839 --> 00:19:37.599
some buzzing games. This is the let's call this call
442
00:19:37.640 --> 00:19:40.680
of duty Black Ops. Wight is blowing me away. Aeron.
443
00:19:40.680 --> 00:19:42.400
Michael wants to get this because his buddies are calling
444
00:19:42.480 --> 00:19:42.720
about it.
445
00:19:42.920 --> 00:19:45.240
This is stoked. Do you ever fixes their Xbox? What
446
00:19:45.440 --> 00:19:46.480
Xbox version is there?
447
00:19:46.559 --> 00:19:50.640
Now? I don't know Xbox, I have no I have
448
00:19:50.680 --> 00:19:51.160
no idea.
449
00:19:51.240 --> 00:19:53.240
You know, we spend so much time on the switch
450
00:19:53.319 --> 00:19:54.359
to exhaus.
451
00:19:54.640 --> 00:19:57.440
But he just hooked up the Xboxes. We're playing Battlefront yesterday.
452
00:19:57.440 --> 00:19:58.839
He wanted to play battle Front with me, so it's
453
00:19:58.880 --> 00:20:01.400
connected up. But it's a older version just to play
454
00:20:01.440 --> 00:20:02.400
battle battle Front.
455
00:20:02.920 --> 00:20:05.519
You can the Indiana Junes. But did you know number.
456
00:20:05.400 --> 00:20:08.559
Fourteenth Real fast Call of Duty Black Ops will be
457
00:20:08.640 --> 00:20:13.119
hitting the day one on game pass campaign. Okay, FYI guys,
458
00:20:13.160 --> 00:20:15.000
this puts real big. What were we going to say, did.
459
00:20:14.799 --> 00:20:19.200
You know Indiana June's is coming to switch to Oh?
460
00:20:19.319 --> 00:20:21.640
Really, I don't think that. I don't think the quality
461
00:20:21.680 --> 00:20:23.720
is going to be as good as it is on Xbox.
462
00:20:23.720 --> 00:20:24.000
Of it that.
463
00:20:24.200 --> 00:20:26.480
So, would you get an Xbox for a tron video game?
464
00:20:26.480 --> 00:20:27.559
Because I don't think you have one?
465
00:20:27.880 --> 00:20:28.720
No?
466
00:20:28.960 --> 00:20:32.039
Okay, So Call of Duty Black Ops seven is the
467
00:20:32.079 --> 00:20:34.720
biggest game out there. What's going to take you to
468
00:20:34.799 --> 00:20:37.559
buy a new Xbox? What? Because if Indiana.
469
00:20:37.640 --> 00:20:40.119
Jones has to ask for it for Christmas? And just
470
00:20:40.759 --> 00:20:41.200
how much a.
471
00:20:41.160 --> 00:20:42.440
Lot do you need to say that for him to
472
00:20:42.480 --> 00:20:43.880
hear it.
473
00:20:44.559 --> 00:20:46.720
He's getting well. When they're getting older and older and older,
474
00:20:46.720 --> 00:20:48.200
it's hard to find a present. So if they can't
475
00:20:48.240 --> 00:20:50.400
tell you money college, if they just tell me a
476
00:20:50.759 --> 00:20:51.920
good president, give.
477
00:20:51.880 --> 00:20:55.240
Him the jellycat plush toy trend that's going on. That's
478
00:20:55.279 --> 00:20:56.160
so freaking ugly.
479
00:20:56.519 --> 00:21:00.799
Jesus No, no real fast skate story twelve eight comes out,
480
00:21:01.000 --> 00:21:04.240
Ghosts of Yodel that launched already, it's on ps five.
481
00:21:05.319 --> 00:21:09.079
What's the review saying? Will you tell me? Ird side man?
482
00:21:09.240 --> 00:21:11.480
I could have video games. I'm done, I'm done with
483
00:21:11.799 --> 00:21:15.160
I'm jelly done with this these squishmellows. As you were
484
00:21:15.160 --> 00:21:17.839
talking about the squish mellows, another big one from McDonald's
485
00:21:18.319 --> 00:21:21.279
And uh, you know what really ticks me off? You
486
00:21:21.319 --> 00:21:23.599
know what chops my hide? Do you want to know
487
00:21:23.640 --> 00:21:27.720
what it does? You want to know? No, McDonald's used
488
00:21:27.720 --> 00:21:30.039
to be the freaking place to go to get toys.
489
00:21:30.559 --> 00:21:32.960
Now they have that what is that band from Japan?
490
00:21:33.759 --> 00:21:34.519
Let's take a moment.
491
00:21:34.839 --> 00:21:38.680
Remember the Muppets, No, no, I remember Star Trek the
492
00:21:38.680 --> 00:21:39.720
motion picture came out.
493
00:21:39.799 --> 00:21:40.960
Now you have better ones that night.
494
00:21:41.079 --> 00:21:44.359
Oh Star Trek the motion they used to have likes
495
00:21:44.599 --> 00:21:46.839
for me. A watch you pop open they have all
496
00:21:46.839 --> 00:21:49.960
these communicators in it. And then the cardboard box the
497
00:21:49.960 --> 00:21:52.400
food actually came in. You pop it out and you
498
00:21:52.440 --> 00:21:57.079
can build each one of the different ships in start
499
00:21:57.079 --> 00:21:59.960
Too must picture. So I built the Enterprise and mcgrana
500
00:22:00.039 --> 00:22:01.440
gotta go background and go to back and he'd get
501
00:22:01.480 --> 00:22:03.160
all my stuff. I get my little plastic thing that
502
00:22:03.240 --> 00:22:06.440
want my chest that was the Enterprise, the Star Trek logo,
503
00:22:06.519 --> 00:22:09.440
and I'm walking around going led long and prosper. Finally
504
00:22:09.440 --> 00:22:11.519
I got the box with the Klingons, so I put
505
00:22:11.559 --> 00:22:14.759
the Klingons because you can't have a war without a
506
00:22:14.799 --> 00:22:18.200
Klingon and an Enterprise going head to head because that's
507
00:22:18.279 --> 00:22:18.880
Star Trek.
508
00:22:18.880 --> 00:22:20.799
There's a lot of movies that say otherwise, but keep
509
00:22:20.799 --> 00:22:21.440
going and.
510
00:22:22.319 --> 00:22:24.039
You can't have a Star Trek war without it. But
511
00:22:24.079 --> 00:22:27.559
long story short, the Happy Meals went there here selling
512
00:22:27.799 --> 00:22:31.559
who's that pop band that's real big from Japan or
513
00:22:31.559 --> 00:22:32.119
from Korea?
514
00:22:32.279 --> 00:22:35.039
Well, the South Korea, there's thing called k pop that's
515
00:22:35.079 --> 00:22:36.039
the type of well who.
516
00:22:35.960 --> 00:22:38.799
Are those kids they have? And it's been there because
517
00:22:38.839 --> 00:22:40.880
Aaron Ic always goes, sometimes I want pancakes. I go,
518
00:22:40.880 --> 00:22:43.319
you're getting McDonald's because gott get your school. They give
519
00:22:43.359 --> 00:22:45.319
away all these K pop You can get one of
520
00:22:45.359 --> 00:22:48.480
the k pop those kids from the Japanese you're talking.
521
00:22:48.359 --> 00:22:51.279
About that All boy group. Yeah, they have tons of money,
522
00:22:51.279 --> 00:22:55.000
which they name, what's their name? What's their name?
523
00:22:55.039 --> 00:22:57.240
They were makeup and they weren't makeup, No.
524
00:22:57.279 --> 00:23:00.039
Not bt BT. And then there's black Pain.
525
00:23:01.359 --> 00:23:04.359
If they sing that song, but butter something butter so
526
00:23:04.519 --> 00:23:07.720
butter Uh. You get their toys at them at McDonald's.
527
00:23:07.720 --> 00:23:09.799
It hasn't been there. Usually they keep things for a movie.
528
00:23:09.839 --> 00:23:11.640
So if Tron came out, you get your Tron toys,
529
00:23:12.240 --> 00:23:14.079
then you get this. They didn't do any toys.
530
00:23:13.880 --> 00:23:16.880
Well, because that's what's really big right now.
531
00:23:17.839 --> 00:23:21.559
But usually, but it's been going on for three months.
532
00:23:21.599 --> 00:23:24.119
You can get those K pop toys in there. And
533
00:23:24.279 --> 00:23:26.240
I was like, Aaron, Mike, you want that? He goes,
534
00:23:26.480 --> 00:23:29.000
do not put that near me? Dad, do not put that.
535
00:23:29.240 --> 00:23:31.039
So that's all I gotta say is it's really went
536
00:23:31.079 --> 00:23:32.839
down here with that. They went real heavy.
537
00:23:32.960 --> 00:23:35.640
Yeah, I don't think the Tweins think that way. So
538
00:23:35.640 --> 00:23:36.680
what else it's on the show. Are you going to
539
00:23:36.720 --> 00:23:39.720
talk about the Dean Museum anime art museum in the
540
00:23:39.759 --> 00:23:43.839
popularity of that No, No, No, over seven hundred original works.
541
00:23:44.000 --> 00:23:48.039
I just Francisco, I just need if you have any comments, questions,
542
00:23:48.119 --> 00:23:49.960
or anything like that, reach out to us as social media.
543
00:23:50.079 --> 00:23:52.519
I promise you, Uh, next week you go through that,
544
00:23:52.680 --> 00:23:55.119
I am going to start reading. Yes, I will start.
545
00:23:54.960 --> 00:24:00.359
Reading every tons on your your nerd side comments. I
546
00:24:00.400 --> 00:24:02.920
actually do know every Monday on YouTube there'll be a
547
00:24:03.039 --> 00:24:07.799
new posting also whenever he posts on the podcast wherever
548
00:24:07.839 --> 00:24:09.519
you stream, but it's also going to be on his
549
00:24:09.599 --> 00:24:12.519
YouTube channel at your nerd side. But I have a
550
00:24:12.519 --> 00:24:16.440
big question. October seventeenth, early festival reviews show positive and
551
00:24:16.519 --> 00:24:18.359
dark and I'm scared. Are you gonna take me to
552
00:24:18.400 --> 00:24:20.359
see Black Foam two? Because I'm too scared.
553
00:24:20.680 --> 00:24:23.240
It came out Let's up came out yesterday?
554
00:24:24.000 --> 00:24:25.599
Well, I don't know, maybe that was yesterday.
555
00:24:25.599 --> 00:24:28.200
Already saw that what's the reviews? I didn't pay attention.
556
00:24:28.279 --> 00:24:28.880
I have no issue.
557
00:24:28.920 --> 00:24:29.799
I just watched it.
558
00:24:30.039 --> 00:24:31.720
I didn't watch it. I said it came out yesterday.
559
00:24:31.759 --> 00:24:32.799
It came out Thursday night.
560
00:24:32.839 --> 00:24:36.440
Because the guy from what's that show? Uh, that's shown
561
00:24:36.519 --> 00:24:40.079
slay your dragon? The last dragon? What's the guy? You
562
00:24:40.119 --> 00:24:41.000
know what I'm talking about?
563
00:24:41.200 --> 00:24:42.119
How to train your dragon?
564
00:24:42.200 --> 00:24:44.400
How to train your dragon is in its christ? What
565
00:24:44.599 --> 00:24:46.359
a nerd? What a nerd?
566
00:24:48.160 --> 00:24:48.680
What about it?
567
00:24:49.039 --> 00:24:51.640
I am asking you. You said you watched it. I
568
00:24:51.839 --> 00:24:53.920
never saw the okay, so you have no interest in
569
00:24:54.000 --> 00:24:54.359
seeing it?
570
00:24:54.599 --> 00:24:57.400
No, you should. You need to see Weapons first, That's
571
00:24:57.400 --> 00:24:58.000
what you need to see.
572
00:24:58.079 --> 00:25:00.240
Why did you tell the audience how weapons is? And
573
00:25:00.279 --> 00:25:02.480
then good reviews it? C is it good?
574
00:25:03.000 --> 00:25:05.119
It's it's suspenseful, and it's all over the place, and
575
00:25:05.160 --> 00:25:07.200
I don't want to ruin it. It comes out on
576
00:25:07.640 --> 00:25:11.200
HBO Max on the twenty second. You got it'll be
577
00:25:11.279 --> 00:25:12.279
a October twenty second.
578
00:25:12.279 --> 00:25:13.799
And when you go to see black Phone too, just
579
00:25:13.920 --> 00:25:16.440
no expectation, be a little bit lower. The script is
580
00:25:16.480 --> 00:25:20.799
weaker in places. He's a common issue on the check line.
581
00:25:20.960 --> 00:25:22.400
Of course I am because I'm not going to watch it.
582
00:25:22.720 --> 00:25:23.680
It knows a solid approval.
583
00:25:23.759 --> 00:25:25.440
But the first one was great. The second one, how
584
00:25:25.480 --> 00:25:27.759
can you bring back one and done? It's done?
585
00:25:28.319 --> 00:25:29.119
It was really good.
586
00:25:29.279 --> 00:25:30.720
You should have the first one that let it go.
587
00:25:30.960 --> 00:25:32.839
You gotta let it go the same thing with like
588
00:25:32.880 --> 00:25:35.720
Stranger Things, Stranger things. If they're taking this long and
589
00:25:35.799 --> 00:25:37.559
the kids are already married, and they're already one of
590
00:25:37.599 --> 00:25:42.200
them's pregnant having kids already, and they're still in high school,
591
00:25:42.759 --> 00:25:43.519
it's just confusing.
592
00:25:43.559 --> 00:25:45.519
Well, what's up, Oh, you're talking about stranger things.
593
00:25:45.599 --> 00:25:48.079
Yeah, stranger things, which it's took like what ten years
594
00:25:48.160 --> 00:25:48.599
to come out?
595
00:25:48.839 --> 00:25:50.720
Yeah, okay, But if you're too tired to go through
596
00:25:50.759 --> 00:25:53.359
the movie theaters like we are, Leslie's story is a
597
00:25:53.440 --> 00:25:57.640
new Stephens King novel, Adoption. Stevens King actually made the
598
00:25:57.759 --> 00:26:01.160
screenplay When does this mats and sleep? And when is
599
00:26:01.279 --> 00:26:04.799
Julie and Moore sleep? So it follows the story two
600
00:26:04.880 --> 00:26:08.240
years after depth of her husband, who's the best selling novelist.
601
00:26:08.359 --> 00:26:13.480
So if you want suspense with strong acting, remember Loyaltists.
602
00:26:13.640 --> 00:26:16.079
You know, since King himself wrote all eight episodes, the
603
00:26:16.160 --> 00:26:19.559
Adoption stays close to the novel in many ways and
604
00:26:19.799 --> 00:26:22.400
keeping it the thing is a frequent complaint is that
605
00:26:22.480 --> 00:26:24.480
it takes too long to get in drag. Some parts
606
00:26:24.559 --> 00:26:29.160
I agree, some of the narrative is comfuty agree. But
607
00:26:29.279 --> 00:26:32.440
if you're a fan Stephen King comfortable with slow, you'll
608
00:26:32.519 --> 00:26:35.759
love it. It got me engaged in the beginning, but
609
00:26:35.839 --> 00:26:37.359
it is a little bit slow. So if you want
610
00:26:37.440 --> 00:26:40.480
something that maybe need some influence to enjoy it a
611
00:26:40.480 --> 00:26:42.680
little bit more, that's fine. But if you want something
612
00:26:42.720 --> 00:26:45.880
that's not all horror and gore, check out Steven sky
613
00:26:46.039 --> 00:26:51.920
Leslie Store on Apple TV. E Well maybe he does sing.
614
00:26:52.400 --> 00:26:55.680
You know what? What I lost train of thought?
615
00:26:56.240 --> 00:26:58.240
Remember Stephen King? That was on What's that show that
616
00:26:58.279 --> 00:27:00.400
you showed me? The transmit Tree? Do you want to
617
00:27:00.400 --> 00:27:01.160
tell everyone about that?
618
00:27:01.519 --> 00:27:05.880
They know about creepshow? Leaving King is in so many
619
00:27:05.920 --> 00:27:06.839
things we gotta wrap up.
620
00:27:07.359 --> 00:27:10.160
But you said last week you'll bring some nostalgia back
621
00:27:10.240 --> 00:27:11.240
and what people should do?
622
00:27:11.519 --> 00:27:12.480
Will you forgot?
623
00:27:16.160 --> 00:27:17.119
What is it called again?
624
00:27:17.559 --> 00:27:21.480
Nostalgia? No, the show, it's called your nerd side. Let's
625
00:27:21.519 --> 00:27:23.880
wrap it up. Hey, guys, we'll talk to you next week.
626
00:27:24.119 --> 00:27:26.799
