OM DENNE EPISODE
Resident Evil enters a new era as Brett and James begin their deep dive into one of the most ambitious and beloved entries in the franchise: Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
In Part One, we trace the game's origins from its early development and Dreamcast debut through to its place as the true continuation of the Raccoon City saga. We explore the creation of Rockfort Island, the Ashford family legacy, and the events that bring Claire Redfield and Steve Burnside into one of the series' most memorable and tragic stories.
Along the way, we examine the game's cast of characters, the voice actors who brought them to life, and the lasting impact Code Veronica has had on Resident Evil's lore and legacy. We also discuss some of the game's more dated and controversial story elements, exploring how a long-rumoured remake could revisit and modernise aspects of the narrative for a new generation of players.
From behind-the-scenes development stories to character analysis, lore, and franchise history, this is the beginning of our most comprehensive look yet at a game many fans still consider one of Resident Evil's finest adventures.
Whether you're revisiting Rockfort Island or discovering its secrets for the first time, pull up a chair, load a fresh ribbon into the typewriter, and join us for another session.
