OM DENNE EPISODE
Sami Zayn promised justice in Mexico City — and by the end of SmackDown, CM Punk was no longer WWE Champion.
But the bigger story might be what Sami’s win just did to the entire main event scene. After years of complaining that nothing important happens on weekly television, WWE just changed its biggest championship on a Friday night — and suddenly Punk, Kevin Owens, Finn Bálor, Gunther, Johnny Gargano, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes are all part of a title picture where anything actually feels possible.
