Did you know that construction workers have one of the highest suicide rates compared to other professions? It's a staggering figure, reported to be four times higher than the national average. A 2020 survey by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) highlighted that 14.3% of construction workers experience anxiety, and nearly 6% battle depression. Moreover, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) notes that substance abuse disorders among construction workers are nearly double the national average.Mental Health ResourcesIf you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out for help.
