Who will make the Green Bay Packers' initial 53-man roster, and which players are about to run out of time?
With cutdown day coming Sunday, J.J. Lahey and Jake Schyvinck make their final Packers roster predictions. We work through the roster position by position, identify the toughest decisions facing Brian Gutekunst and debate the bubble players who could become surprise cuts or unexpected members of the initial 53.
But the roster Green Bay announces may not be the roster it takes into Week 1.
Packers insider Easton Butler joins the show with trade rumors involving three areas Green Bay may still be targeting: cornerback, tight end and pass rusher. That includes the possibility of a major trade for Arizona Cardinals edge rusher Josh Sweat, who previously played for defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon in Philadelphia.
How seriously should Packers fans take the Josh Sweat rumors? Which positions does Green Bay still need to address? And could Gutekunst have another move waiting after roster cuts?
