OM DENNE EPISODE
Lance Wallnau spent years thinking he was out of God's will, working in "Babylon, New York," making money in the corporate world, wondering when God would finally let him into "real" ministry. It took a stranger's prophetic word, a boardroom prophecy that ended in a standing ovation, and a Georgia state senator who died for 40 minutes to show him he'd had it backwards the whole time. What if the place you're trying to escape is actually the assignment? In this episode, Lance shares his own journey to discovering his calling, including finding out about his hidden Jewish heritage through a prophetic word, and tells the real, verifiable origin story of the seven mountains mandate: how Senator Michael Crotts' near-death experience, a phone call his own secretary says she never made, and a conversation with Loren Cunningham all converged to reveal the seven spheres that shape culture: church, family, education, government, media, arts, and business. In this episode: * How a stranger's prophetic word revealed Lance's hidden Jewish, rabbinic heritage * Why 90% of believers are never taught to find their calling outside the four walls of the church * The corporate boardroom prophecy that got a standing ovation from executives * The true origin story of the seven mountains mandate * Senator Michael Crotts' 40-minute near-death experience and the vision of seven islands * The mysterious phone call nobody can explain If you've ever felt like your job, your industry, or your everyday life was somehow "less than" ministry, this episode will change how you see your calling.
