OM DENNE EPISODE
Don't get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.
In this episode of the Go Deeper Podcast, Steven and Amber get honest about one of the hardest things high achievers face: knowing when to put the work down and actually live.
Steven missed the Prince concert because he had to work the nightclub that night. Shortly after, Prince was gone. That moment changed everything about how he thinks about time and the moments that cannot be rescheduled.
When Amber's dad passed away at 61, he was not thinking about the money he made. He was thinking about time. Watching your father go at 61 when you are turning 40 has a way of rearranging everything.
Start saying no to the people who will not even be standing at your deathbed. Because you are saying yes to them at the expense of the ones who will.
If you are grinding and telling yourself you will live later, this episode is your reminder that later is not guaranteed.
