OM DENNE EPISODE
Welcome back to The Conversations with Nicole Show—a space where we shine a light on remarkable people doing transformative work around the world.
In this episode, Nicole Huckabee welcomes professional athlete, entrepreneur, and community leader Henry Kalungi, founder of the Henry Kalungi Foundation.Henry’s story is one of resilience, purpose, and deep love for his home country of Uganda. From the outskirts of Kampala to the bright lights of professional soccer, Henry has taken every opportunity given to him and used it not only to better his own life, but to pour back into his community—one child at a time.
Since 2016, the Henry Kalungi Foundation has focused on sustainable change in Uganda. Through a powerful partnership with Alpha Soccer Academy in North and South Carolina, young athletes are being mentored, trained, and equipped both on and off the field—creating a ripple effect of impact that stretches across continents. We discuss the real stories behind the stats, the hearts behind the mission, and how empowering just one child can transform an entire village, family, and future.
