The AI and Generative AI tidal wave seems to be submerging many industries and lapping at the shores of many more. A recent Accenture report singled out Banking as the industry with the highest potential for automation using AI. Other reports are saying something similar. Banking and Financial services seems to be one of the first big battlefronts of man vs. machine; I sit down with Sanat Rao to dissect this. Sanat is the Global CEO of CEO of Infosys Finacle, the leading core banking platform, and therefore watches banking across the world closely. He is also my co-student at the Masters in AI, Ethics, Society at Cambridge University, and a Masters in Digital Anthropology from University College, London.

This is an age of employee entrepreneurs in which captive models will fail. The decentralization trend arrived and brought work-for-anyone along with it.
I believe that large foundational models like #GPT will be like the cloud, on top of which companies will build innovative #GenerativeAI products. Nearly 500 of them are already funded in this innovation frenzy.
Lessons from the decline and fall of the Roman empire can be applied to Twitter and Facebook.
Enough has been written on #chatgpt, but the most intriguing is whether it can replace search and dethrone Google.
