OM DENNE EPISODE
Our heroes Bairn and Dromo seek out their next adventure in the aftermath of the Urshrek saga and now Neva's deal with the entity that turned Bairn into the Godlsayer takes centerstage. We get into some of the ways that Holguin plays with classic myth and storytelling tropes but takes the time to make them his own through the lens of Spawn. And as is often the case with our show, we wax nostalgic about the X-Men for a bit.
This week'd recommendations are the book Kindred by Rebecca Wraggg Sykes which examines the life, love, art and death of Neanderthals and Connor Goldsmith and Josh Cornillon's Did You Hear About Mimi Green?, a psychological horror series about influencer culture, cancel culture and the demons we keep even when we think we've dealt with them.
