Nineveh's destruction was God's judgment for their wickedness. The cup of God's wrath was poured out on them and their leaders (the Bible calls them shepherds) were no where to be found. In the lesson tonight, we look at the end for the city of Nineveh, but also look ahead to Jesus. He drank the cup of God's wrath for us and He is the Great Shepherd Who will never abandon His sheep.
