Revving Up - Ep 21: Preservation of the Biblical Texts

In this episode of Revving Up with David Ross, the host takes a deep dive into the preservation of the Bible.

How can we know that the words we read in the Old and New Testaments are accurate representations of the original writings?

He explores the two ways the Bible was preserved, one for the Old Testament and a completely different route for the New Testament writings.

He explores branches of Old Testament manuscripts such as the Masoretic Text, Pentateuch, and Septuagint.

The importance of the Dead Sea Scrolls in giving us confidence in the fidelity of the copies is explored, along with the sheer volume of evidence for the New Testament writings that gives us confidence in their accuracy.
