OM DENNE EPISODE
Episode 85 — A Melted and Erased Past
Last night we sat with light. Tonight we sit with what light — or heat, or something we were told was “just weather” — may have done to the old world. Melted masses that still have windows in them. Brick still visible inside a flow. Towns that are the hill. Official plaques that say sandstone, tuff, erosion, landslide. Soft spots that do not sit.
Tonight:
• Nottingham Castle Rock outside + the tunnels Shad walked underneath
• Sutro Heights brick that ran like wax with the courses still in it
• Craco, Petra, Cappadocia, Ani, Guge — building and geology sharing a body
• The control: a church we know lava actually ate in 1943
• Mud vs fire vs melt — three different wounds, three different stories
• Directed light, the Sunfire lens, and what a “plasma event” even means
• Why the past looks erased after the stone slumps
