OM DENNE EPISODE
archTIS CEO and managing director Daniel Lai talked with Proactive about the cybersecurity company's record September quarter, progress toward operating cash flow break-even, ongoing negotiations with the US Department of Defense and the growth opportunities emerging from artificial intelligence.
archTIS delivered a strong quarter, with annual recurring revenue reaching A$13.3 million, revenue rising to A$3.6 million and gross margins increasing to 79%. Operating expenses also fell to around A$4.4 million, helping operating cash flow move close to break-even.
Customer receipts reached a record A$5.3 million, which Lai attributed partly to the integration of Spirion and the larger, more diversified recurring revenue base acquired with the business. He said archTIS had also become more efficient in areas including renewals and new customer acquisition.
A major focus remains the proposed US Department of Defense enterprise licence. Lai said archTIS had progressed through accreditation, user testing and user acceptance testing and was now deep in negotiations.
Lai also discussed the opportunity around Spirion AI Guardrails and the growing demand for secure adoption of AI. He outlined archTIS' strategy of helping organisations discover sensitive data, apply contextual access controls and securely govern how information can be shared with users and AI systems.
Looking ahead to FY27, Lai said priorities include expanding further in the US market, progressing the US DoD opportunity and using the company's defence credentials to accelerate growth across additional markets and industry verticals.
