OM DENNE EPISODE
Just when you thought the dust had settled on the initial free agency frenzy, Howie Roseman went back to work! As March winds down, the Philadelphia Eagles (11-7) are continuing to fine-tune the roster for the 2026 season. From sneaky depth signings to the highly anticipated reveal of the new jersey numbers, the transition into the Sean Mannion era is officially in full swing.
Fresh Threads: The New Number Reveals
The Eagles officially dropped the jersey numbers for 12 players this week, and there are some "aesthetic upgrades" you need to know about:
- Hollywood Brown takes the #0: Following in the footsteps of D'Andre Swift, the newest deep threat is going with the "Agent Zero" look. Can he break the recent "curse" of the number in Philly?
- Riq Woolen is #2: With Quinyon Mitchell holding down #27, the Pro Bowl corner snags the single digit.
- The "Skill Position" Swap: Tank Bigsby moves from #37 to #8, a major upgrade in the "look good, play good" department.
- The Veteran Standard: Andy Dalton stays true to his 15-year career by rocking #14, while Elijah Moore will suit up in #13.
- Other updates: Arnold Ebiketie (#17), Jonathan Jones (#32), Dameon Pierce (#39), and Marcus Epps switching back to #29.
The "Second Wave" of Free Agency
Howie Roseman spent the last week fortifying the depth chart with low-risk, high-reward moves:
The Elijah Moore Addition: We analyze the one-year deal for the former second-round pick. Does Moore finally solve the "true WR3" problem, or is he strictly a training camp competitor?
Bringing Back the "Big Man": Fred Johnson is officially staying in Philly on a one-year deal. We discuss his importance as the primary swing tackle behind Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata.
Special Teams Staples: J.T. Gray and Marcus Epps are officially back to anchor the secondary and special teams units. We break down why continuity in the third phase of the game is a priority for Nick Sirianni.
The Sydney Brown Trade Aftermath
We look closer at the decision to trade Sydney Brown to the Falcons. Was the return (a 2026 4th and 6th round pick swap) worth losing a high-upside young safety, or is it a sign that Vic Fangio is looking for a completely different profile at the position?
The roster is taking shape, the numbers are set, and the draft board is narrowing. Tune in for the most comprehensive Eagles update of the spring!
