OM DENNE EPISODE
Welcome to SUR, where the drinks are flowing, the drama is immediate, and your coworkers might be the messiest people in West Hollywood! We’re kicking off our Vanderpump Rules Season 1 recap with Episode 1, “Welcome to SUR,” introducing Lisa Vanderpump’s infamous restaurant staff and the aspiring models, actors, musicians, and professional troublemakers who make this Bravo reality TV series unforgettable.
Self-appointed queen bee Stassi Schroeder is not interested in welcoming new SUR waitress Scheana Shay with open arms. Scheana’s past affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, who was married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, has already made her a target. As Stassi labels Scheana a homewrecker, the other SURvers—including Jax Taylor, Tom Sandoval, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney—get caught up in the tension. Meanwhile, Lisa Vanderpump tries to manage her staff’s personal drama while keeping her restaurant running. Spoiler alert: these employees are much better at starting fights than avoiding them.
We’re diving into the Vanderpump Rules premiere, the Stassi and Scheana feud, Scheana Shay and the Brandi Glanville affair scandal, Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor’s rocky relationship, Tom Sandoval and Kristen Doute, Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant, and the early-2010s Bravo reality TV chaos that launched a reality TV empire. The SURvers have officially clocked in, and we’re ready to dissect every argument, questionable relationship, and iconic first impression.
