Speaker 1: All right, closing in on 8 o'clock on this Thursday night, the Roundtable Show. Longnecks in Ridgewood, 700 WLW. It's all presented by Cincinnati Tax Resolution, powered by Tope Sheldon, Lance McAllister, Rocky Boyman.
00:00:15
Speaker 2: It is week seven. Fantasy Football.
00:00:19
Speaker 1: Our next guest, host of Fantistics Insider Football, Sirius XM Fantasy, InsiderFootball.com.
00:00:25
Speaker 2: We welcome in Dan Klaskens. And Dan, let's get to it.
00:00:28
Speaker 1: It's always wise to be aware of what is coming down the road, what is ahead. Give us some favorable roads ahead for a couple of different players.
00:00:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, good evening, and yeah, we're six weeks into the fantasy season, so this is exactly what we should be doing, giving a little sneak peek at that schedule, and over the next six weeks, no running back has an easier schedule than Brees Hall, the Jets running back. Now, he's dealing with a quad injury right now, so that's worth monitoring, but If there's a frustrated Hall manager in your league, now might be time to explore the trade.
00:01:00
Speaker 4: Malik Neighbors, another name on this list.
00:01:02
Speaker 3: He exploded for 165 yards on 15 targets last week. The Giants have been feeding him the football. New York also draws the most favorable wide receiver schedule over the next six weeks. So legitimate wide receiver, one upside.
00:01:15
Speaker 4: And finally, a quarterback, Tyler Murray.
00:01:17
Speaker 3: He faces the fifth easiest quarterback schedule over the next six weeks, and I really think he's going to be a guy that's going to be a back-end QB1 during that range and an intriguing streaming target who could deliver better results as that schedule opens up.
00:01:30
Speaker 2: All right, Dan, let's talk about the injuries.
00:01:34
Speaker 1: Very interested in Lamar Jackson here in Cincinnati, but some other ones as well.
00:01:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, let's get to it, Rocky. And as always, a lot of names on the list, but some fantasy impact. You mentioned Lamar Jackson. We've all been watching that. Maybe Bengal fans have some mixed feelings on what they want, but fantasy managers will be happy to know Lamar Jackson was back at practice again today, continuing to make progress. We'll keep eyes on Friday. Obviously, it's good for the entire Ravens offense on those ceilings if he could play. Baker Mayfield looking good to return versus the Panthers this week as the Bucs welcome their quarterback back. So I think that will be a bump up, although Jalen Daniels was at least keeping them viable. Running back, Saquon Barkley with a hamstring. He is trending towards a return on Monday night. We saw Brees Hall on the practice field for the Jets for the second straight day with his quad issue. So good news there. However, Jeremiah Love, Kyle Menungai in tonight's game. Our two running backs, we probably won't have Menungai officially inactive tonight. Jordan Mason, Zach Charbonnet, they could be back. Fellas, that receiver, just within the hour, news breaking of Kuka Nakua leaving Rams practice with a calf injury.
00:02:43
Speaker 4: We don't have a lot of details. It will be something we'll have to monitor.
00:02:46
Speaker 3: The Rams already finding out earlier in the week they'll be without Devontae Adams for six to ten weeks. And the Super Bowl favorites sitting at two and four, starting to look a little dicey there, both in real life and in fantasy.
00:02:58
Speaker 4: Mike Evans, I don't know how he's going to make it through with this Achilles issue.
00:03:01
Speaker 3: And I'm frankly, even if he plays this week, I'm not thinking, I'm a little nervous about starting him because any single time he might go out, they should sit him in my opinion. But Rashi Rice, yet to return to the practice field. Amika Ukabuka is still in concussion protocol. And Tyler Warren likely to now miss his second straight week with a groin issue. And Dalton Schultz, another tight end dealing with an injury and hasn't practiced all week, not looking good for week number seven.
00:03:25
Speaker 2: All right, let's get to that lineup advice.
00:03:27
Speaker 1: Studs, duds, and sleepers, and no shock to see Chase Brown in one of these three categories this week.
00:03:34
Speaker 4: Let's start with the good studs here, Lance. And I love me some Jordan love this week. The Packers-Lions.
00:03:40
Speaker 3: It's going to be a fantasy frenzy, and it carries the highest projected total of Week 7 at 53.5 points. Matthew Golden and Christian Watson are giving him plenty of firepower. And I really like his chance to be, if not in the top three, at the top five at the position this week. Drake London, my stud receiver. The targets have been incredibly consistent. He's commanded at least 30% of the Falcons' targets in all four starts with Pennix under center. Even more impressive, he's delivering the strong numbers.
00:04:09
Speaker 4: He hasn't even gotten into the end zone much.
00:04:11
Speaker 3: So I think there's still good things ahead.
00:04:13
Speaker 4: On the dud side, you mentioned Chase Brown.
00:04:15
Speaker 3: I'm more concerned about the usage and Samaj P.
00:04:18
Speaker 2: Ryan.
00:04:19
Speaker 3: But right now, he just hasn't consistently delivered on the rushing production fantasy.
00:04:23
Speaker 4: Managers who are projecting. This was a first-round pick in some leagues.
00:04:27
Speaker 3: Right now, he's a fringe top 20 running back. And frankly, I don't look for it to turn around this week at Baltimore. Dak Prescott, another dud on my list. Philadelphia, they're a mess on offense. That D's still pretty good. And Dak has not played well in Philly in a primetime game. The eyeball test has not lied to me. I'm not starting him in the league.
00:04:46
Speaker 2: I have him.
00:04:46
Speaker 3: I don't think he's in the top 15 this week. And then finally, a couple sleepers. Demario Douglas in tonight's game. I've got the player props out on him. I'm putting him in in a flex spot where I need him in my fantasy league. Seven catches, 86 yards, and a touchdown last week. And Romeo Dobbs joining Matt Collins on IR in just a really squeaky bear secondary. It's a sneaky play tonight, and Got to give our props out to Michael Mayer, our other sleeper of the week. And the cub cat grab is looking awesome. Breakout included last week. Seven catches, 95 yards on nine targets. It's an excellent opportunity. And the bigger development here, he's getting 70% route participation. And if he continues, I think he could sneak into the top 12 at the position. And they already got number one tight end in fantasy, Brock Bowers. So, Could be the first time in all my years of fantasy I've seen a team with two top 12 tight ends.
00:05:41
Speaker 2: How about that? All right.
00:05:43
