OM DENNE EPISODE
Former Football Association chief executive and Tranmere Rovers owner Mark Palios joins Richard Keys and Andy Gray for a revealing look inside the corridors of power in English and world football.
Palios explains the financial crisis he inherited at the FA and revisits the extraordinary fallout from Rio Ferdinand’s missed drugs test—including the threat of an England players’ strike and the risk of the national side being expelled from Euro 2004.
He also offers his assessment of Manchester City’s charges, the Premier League’s handling of the case and the growing financial divide across the English football pyramid. Plus, he delivers a damning verdict on FIFA under Gianni Infantino and explains why he believes a European Super League is ultimately inevitable.
