OM DENNE EPISODE
What happens when the world keeps telling you that you don’t fit—but instead of shrinking yourself, you begin building spaces where others can belong?
In this episode of Human Enough, I sit down with Thomas R. Wilson, writer, advocate, sensory-friendly events specialist, community leader, and founder of RH Creative Advocacy and Storytelling.
Thomas shares his deeply personal journey of growing up with mental health struggles, neurodiversity, bullying, and experiences of being misunderstood and rejected. Through poetry, novels, music, and storytelling, he found something powerful: a place where he could discover his worth and express who he really was.
Today, Thomas uses those experiences to advocate for others, create sensory-friendly spaces, mentor young people, and build bridges between underserved communities and the wider world.
We explore neurodiversity, mental health, advocacy, belonging, sensory-friendly events, empathy, employment, storytelling, and what it means to create communities that work for everyone.
