After an extended bye week, we've returned to take stock of the divisions around the NFL. The Colts might be for real. The Seahawks, and the Patriots (their QB) sure seem like they are. Unfortunately, the Chiefs are back. Meanwhile, the Jaguars have a corner playing WR and a dog playing quarterback…
Shepherd’s defense is cooked. The Ravens got dominated in the trenches. The Steelers only beat the Patriots off turnovers. WVU couldn’t meet the standard of “just don’t be horrible”.
At least some other teams had some fun this weekend.
The NBA season is upon us and it’s starting out the only way they know how: getting the attention off of basketball.
Ryan swings by with Knicks takes but it’s Nick Arguelles out of the bullpen to talk about the NBA gambling scandal and to preview the upcoming season.
The football went better than expected for us as fans this weekend...except the Steelers. We break down the controversial Shepherd loss to Slippery Rock, WVU's win over Pitt, and see whatever findings week can get out of a 2 game NFL sample size.
NFL Week 1 is in the books and it was full of excitement. The Steelers and Jets had a shootout, the Ravens blew another lead, and the Dolphins look like they could hit rock bottom.
