Speaker 1: You're listening to Hawk Talk with former Seahawks wide receiver Michael Bumpus. Powered by Seahawks.com. Now, here's your host, Nassau Chobie. Welcome into another edition of Hawk Talk, the Seahawks get it done bump. Primetime Saturday Night Football. Take down the Chiefs 20-3 bump in the Seahawks defense. They reminded everybody in the National Football League why they're the number one team. Number one offense, number one defense in the NFL, and they shut them down.
00:00:32
Speaker 2: Like Roy Jones said, y'all must have forgot Roy Jones back in the day.
00:00:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was cool, man.
00:00:36
Speaker 2: They did some things we've never seen before, all right?
00:00:38
Speaker 1: Three points.
00:00:40
Speaker 2: Mahomes team has never only scored three points. 11 first downs, first time for Mahomes team. No red zone drives, first time for Mahomes team. He's played in 153 of these games. This defense, they reminded me. Like, I knew they were good. You know what I'm saying?
00:00:55
Speaker 1: I knew they were.
00:00:56
Speaker 2: The best defense in the league but it was the way they did it was just dominant.
00:01:00
Speaker 1: Oh from the jump and that's the thing that's that's patrick mahomes like these are numbers that you would see on a friday night yeah not on a sunday night with this team not allowing him in the red zone that's crazy that like andy reed patrick rose come on now per espn research to see oxford the first team since 1984 browns hold their first seven opponents under 180 passing yards and then on top of that you shut down ken walker we're gonna get in all the standouts from last night but What Ken Walker was doing this year to hold him to 36 yards? Come on, man.
00:01:27
Speaker 2: See, I felt victim. I thought he'd get a hundo. I'm like, look, he's that good. The O-line is playing that good. And you can throw the excuse out, oh, they're missing a tackle. You've been missing them all year, okay? This O-line was playing good. O-9 was playing out of his mind. And I thought he would have at least one explosive play. Because, you know, it's almost like when you play against a talent, you're like, all right, we can't stop him. Let's contain him. They stopped and contained and kept the lid on. The seal was still on that thing. They shut this down. I was not expecting that. They reminded me, thank you, Seahawks defense.
00:01:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, that D-line, everybody. It's all 11. The way they get to the football, the way they tackle. When you can stay in your nickel defense, whatever you want to call it, because even when it doesn't come off the field, you play 100% of the snaps. All the snaps. No base defense. I mean, this team is in rare form like we saw when they won the Super Bowl last year. Let's get right into the game with what had happened. See, what had happened was. What had happened at first was. What had happened was. On Hawk Talk. The football game started out kind of slow offensively with each of the first three drives ending in punts for both teams. But the Seahawks put together their second longest drive of the season. Bumped 15 plays, 86 yards. Did have to settle for a field goal, which made the score 3-0. But a big chunk of that came from a 33-yard pass, a little catch and run to JSN, and he did the rest.
00:02:43
Speaker 2: You know what I liked about that field goal was that Sam didn't force it. He threw the ball at the back of the end zone and said, you know what, let's get some points on the board and let's do our thing. But, yeah, the J is saying, man, that catch and run. It's just however you want it, what you want. You want a short pass with Yak. You want to just go across the middle, just get hit, get a first down over to Ty. However you want it, he will serve it.
00:03:03
Speaker 1: Up to you.
00:03:04
Speaker 2: And then the Chiefs get the football, and Pat Mahomes, man, throws one up to Ty Okada, but it was number three that influenced that thing. It was beautiful to watch. And when I first saw– Nicky McGuire and what he was doing. It felt like he was blitzing, but really it was simulated pressure. Like they're four on the line, they're dropping one and sending him, making it four. So it's not technically a blitz because you're only sending it for him, but it feels like a blitz and it looks like a blitz.
00:03:30
Speaker 1: Well, with that speed, that closing speed, Patrick Mullins right now. And then shout out Ty Okada, big play Ty. That's his second interception on primetime. He had to get interception against the Commanders last year on Sunday Night Football, so it was just pretty good. Hawks will take advantage, going 10 plays, 66 yards, ending with a 28-yard touchdown. to JSN. That made the score 10-0. Absolute dime from Sam Darnold. We'll break that down a little bit later, but the Seahawks are in firm control.
00:03:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, Chiefs will go three and out on the next possession, and the Hawks will put together another productive drive. Six plays, 61 yards, getting all the way down to the Chiefs' two-yard line, and then it happened. Sam Darnold throws an interception in the end zone. Noel Williams runs it back 65 yards, meant all the way to the Hawks' 44, but big ups to 6'7. Charles Cross, man. It wasn't a sprint. It was a big man jog. Like, let me just be in position. Let me make sure. Maybe it felt like a sprint to him. But I'm looking at him running down the field, and he didn't give up. The play was forced back to him. He makes the play. Charles Crossman. That could have changed, like, the feel and the vibe of the game.
00:04:33
Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely. Once he got to the sideline, you got kind of nervous. You're like, okay. But you watched everybody. Gray Zabel was out there in space trying to do it. George Helani sprinting. Abe Luke is hauling his you-know-what down there. So that was a huge play because if they didn't do that, if he runs it back for a touchdown, it's a 14-point swing. Instead, because of that hustle, the Chiefs would miss a 58-yard field goal. Both teams go into the locker room at 10-0 game. Seahawks would get the ball right out of halftime. There's only two possessions in the third quarter. Seahawks kick a field goal. Chiefs kick a field goal. That made the score 13-3 heading into the fourth quarter.
00:05:08
Speaker 2: The Hawks would punt on their first possession of the fourth quarter, and the Chiefs would drive 60 yards and 11 plays but get no points as Harrison Bucker missed his second field goal of the game. Then the Seahawks would put the game away with a nine-play 65-yard drive ending with a 21-yard touchdown by Emmanuel Wilson. That made the score 20-3, the longest rushing touchdown of the year for the Hawks.
00:05:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, for a running back, which is crazy because– obviously, on this team with all the explosive runners they have. But, no, it was really good to see Emmanuel do that. We'll talk about him in a little bit. After that bump, the Chiefs would turn the ball over on downs. The next possession, the Seahawks would take knees. Game over. But this game was way more dominant than the score would tell you. The Seahawks outgained the Chiefs 410-213. The Hawks had 24 first downs. The Chiefs had 11. The Hawks converted 11 of 16 on third downs. The Chiefs were 3 of 11. The Seahawks were 5 of 6 on 3rd and 9 plus, which is crazy because you know how much the Seahawks were struggling in that thing. And the Seahawks also won time possession 35-51 to 24-09. It was a domination bump. This game could have easily been 30-3 or even more, but it was good to see the Seahawks win in that fashion.
00:06:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, and K-9 only rushed for 36 carries on 14 yards, and he was averaging 133 yards per game. To do that, I mean, come on, man. That's one stat you can look at, and it happened exactly the way you think. Other stats, you know, you got to kind of feel the game out, but that was impressive.
00:06:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it was... People forget these Chiefs were 5-0, number one offensively. This was a really good football team, and while that was the first time the Seahawks had almost put a full four quarters together in all phases of the game, so it was good to see there. A couple injury notes from the game. Looks like Jadarian Price will open his 21-day practice window this week, according to Mike McDonald, so we'll stay you know, keep locked in on that. That doesn't necessarily mean he's going to play this week, but the fact that he's getting back out to the practice field, that's great news. Then you got Zach Charbonnet. We still don't know. We're hoping that he could come back. He's going to continue to practice the closer and closer we get. Love to see that. Rashid Shahid, apparently positive news on the outlook on his knee so far. So we'll wait to see there. And then Charles Cross, obviously dinged up his ankle. So we'll say, wait to hear long-term there. Obviously we know how good Charles is. Jones can come in there and play. It was good to see the running back step up. But after watching the film, looking at it all down, Bump, what did you learn? I learned to never forget. That's what I learned.
00:07:34
Speaker 2: Never forget who's out there, man, and how good this defense is.
00:07:39
Speaker 1: It all starts with the bigs.
00:07:40
Speaker 2: To my first two series at the Binoculars, I did not look outside the box. I was focused on the box the whole time because I knew this game would be won and lost right there. And watching Anthony Bradford play, Come back and have himself a good game was awesome. Watching the way Leo plays. Sundell had himself a couple really good blocks in the run game as well. I learned to never forget what this defense is and how important this offensive line and defensive line is.
00:08:06
Speaker 1: No question about it. Ray Roberts always talks about game is won and lost in the trenches. We talk about resiliency almost every single week. I think I've learned good luck. If the Seahawks have a couple extra days, it might be Donald and the staff before they play you. Good luck, because they're going to have a game plan that's going to make your best players look pretty bad. A lot of people making plays on Sunday. Time for Playmakers.
00:08:29
Speaker 3: Touchdown, Seahawks!
00:08:32
Speaker 1: Playmakers. Show them what time it is! Holy catfish! All right, we're going to start with the quarterbacks like we always do, Sam Darnold. 20 of 28, 257 yards, one touchdown, one interception, QB rating of 96.9. He also had two carries for 17 yards, two big first downs. And while those aren't unbelievable numbers, it was so much better than the stats, just like the score was. He was throwing dimes out there all night long. He was confident. He was ripping it. He wasn't, you know, hesitant on any of the previous interception or anything like that. Sam was locked in. He was playing with extreme confidence. I love the runs that he had in the game, a couple big first downs. That's going to make it that much harder to defend this team. So I love what we're seeing from Sam. That was a huge game from him, even if the stats didn't say the same thing.
00:09:20
Speaker 2: That's the type of game you need when your defense is doing what they're doing and you're able to run the football as well.
00:09:26
Speaker 1: You did run the football pretty good.
00:09:27
Speaker 2: All right, JSM, another day, another dollar, another 150 yards, nine receptions, one 50, one touchdown. He became the sixth player in NFL history to record 100 receiving yards in six of his team's first seven games of a season. and the fourth player in NFL history with at least 55 receptions and 800 receiving yards in the team's first seven games of a season.
00:09:48
Speaker 1: He is the best.
00:09:49
Speaker 2: We had a conversation on Bomba Stacey today, and I wrote down all the reasons why he's the best. At his position, he's by far the best, but the way he affects a football game is paralleled to none it's impressive and um he has a teammate who knows a little bit about putting together a crazy season.
00:10:07
Speaker 1: Of course i mean that's that's so wild that's that jsn joins the cooper cup uh who did in 2021 when he's playing for the rams as the only players in the super bowl era with 800 plus receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns through the first seven games of the season. They're doing some things that are just out of this world. And Spoon was on the Sunday Night Football postgame show, and he's talking about how frustrating it is for cornerbacks or DBs who are trying to cover JSN because he has no indicators at all. He said it all looks the same. He said, you know how frustrating that is? I get it. I'll put it in practice. You can ask any DB that they play against. Because here's the thing, Bump. There's people getting paid a lot of money. Lots of money. with a lot of football knowledge that are sitting down at a table in meetings for an entire week or plus saying, how are we going to stop this guy? How are we going to bracket him? How are we going to work with all this stuff? And he continues week after week to shut it down. Spagnuolo is a great defensive coach. He is. One of the best ever. And what happened? Jason is a different dude. And you know what it is? The way he runs his routes is not traditional, right?
00:11:09
Speaker 2: You look at the way Justin Jefferson runs his routes, Jamar Chase, Olave.
00:11:15
Speaker 1: A Monroe St.
00:11:16
Speaker 2: Brown, the top guys, they all have similar styles when it comes to breaking down and getting out of your routes.
00:11:22
Speaker 1: He does it in his own way.
00:11:23
Speaker 2: He does it such in his own way that me and Brian have problems trying to figure out what route he's running.
00:11:28
Speaker 1: Like what route is, what do you call this?
00:11:30
Speaker 2: And it's more just, I think when you're that good, you have the space to kind of not freelance, but make it your own, make this office your own, make the routes your own. As long as you and the quarterback are on the same page, you're good.
00:11:42
Speaker 1: He's that guy.
00:11:43
Speaker 2: And, um, He might, and I'm not just saying this because this is a Seahawks podcast, he might change the way we look at route running completely.
00:11:51
Speaker 1: Oh, no question about it. When you watch his next-gen stats, it kind of shows how the plays are developing. You watch him, and you'd be like, because in most people's heads, they're like, okay, here's a post, three feet slant, or like different routes traditionally on a route tree. He does it all, and he makes people look bad while doing it. So JSN, again, continuing to rewrite the record books, and who knows where this guy's career is going because... Megatron's in play. Yeah, it is. 2000 is in– he's way on pace to beat it. I hate to project that far out, but it's like every week we're like, okay, well, someone's going to slow him down. Someone's going to slow him down. I don't know what to say. Jason is that dude. That dude. Also offensively, Emmanuel Wilson, super happy for this dude. 24 carries, 100 yards, and a touchdown. You mentioned earlier that was the first TD run of 10-plus yards for a Seahawks running back this season. Rasheed Shaheed had the other long run at 28 yards earlier this year. Wow. I just love to see it because that is the type of game for Emmanuel Wilson. If you want to go eight-minute drill, four-minute drill, run the clock out, pound the football, that's your dude. Same thing against Arizona. If you want a closer, Emmanuel Wilson is that closer for the Seahawks. He's Munoz. You know what I mean? He's the closer. Munoz of 2025.
00:12:59
Speaker 2: Of 2025, yes. Thank you for the clarification. All right, Tyrese Knight. Had himself a game. Eight tackles, one TFL. Some big hits, solid tackles. And he got shook the first play. But bounced back, made some plays, and I love just the transparency afterwards.
00:13:17
Speaker 1: He's talking to Jim Mueller.
00:13:18
Speaker 2: Like, yeah, he got me that first play, but I was back ready to go. And I think this all stems from preseason. We saw him in preseason. He probably had the best preseason on this team. And unfortunately for him, Drake Thomas already established himself. But fortunately for the Seahawks, you had two backs, LBs, ready to go between Drake Thomas and Tyrese Knight.
00:13:39
Speaker 1: It's time to shine. He did his thing. No, that's the great thing about the depth at linebacker. The distance between Tyrese Knight and Drake Thomas is so close that you have another starting linebacker. If we could start 12, he'd be the next guy on there. You know what I'm saying? So great to see that from Tyrese Knight. Then Ty Okada, primetime Ty is what I'm starting to call him now. I saw him today, and that's what I said to him. What did he say? He said, yeah, you know, he liked it. We'll see. I'm not saying it's catching on yet, but if he has another interception in primetime, I said it first.
00:14:06
Speaker 3: On Monday.
00:14:06
Speaker 1: On Monday. Five tackles, one TFL, one pass offended, one interception. Wyman said it on the broadcast. That's a generational, man. When you're done playing this game, people look stuff up. You picked off Patrick Mahomes. 30 years from now, ain't no one taking that away from you. And he's just playing good ball. He does so much more than people think out there. Obviously, Julian Love is the general back there making all kinds of calls and plays. But Ty is incredibly vocal out there in the secondary, and he's playing good football.
00:14:34
Speaker 3: Yeah, man.
00:14:34
Speaker 1: Ty's balling. Good dude, too, man. Makes it even better. D.
00:14:37
Speaker 2: Hall, three tackles, one TFL, one sack, one interception. He hit Pat Mahomes so hard, he looked cross-eyed for a little bit.
00:14:45
Speaker 1: Like, D.
00:14:46
Speaker 3: Hall.
00:14:48
Speaker 2: I was actually in the back end zone when it happened. And right there, right in front of me, even I went, it's like, ooh, wee. D. Hall, man, when he gets going, he's some special violent football player.
00:15:00
Speaker 1: Well, and Patrick didn't have any time to brace for that.
00:15:03
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:15:03
Speaker 2: So he just got out of nowhere. I promise you he's feeling that one today. Remember we used to get blindsided back in the day? Can't do it no more. That's as close as you're going to get. Blindside hit.
00:15:12
Speaker 1: No, that was D Hall doing his thing. Love to see it there from Seattle defensive line. Quickly, let's look at the wide receiver roundup. Obviously, it's led by one person. Yep, Jason, 9 for 150, one touchdown longer, 33. A.J. Barner, good to see him.
00:15:26
Speaker 2: He should have had 5 for 75 or 80 because one.
00:15:29
Speaker 1: Maybe a touchdown.
00:15:30
Speaker 2: Maybe a touchdown. He was wide open. D-line got his paws on that football and knocked it down. Cooper Cupp had a clutch, third down catch, 2 for 20. Eric Saubert getting to the mix. He had 1 for 17, little plaques and dump off. He had Wilson with a recession for 15. Alani had 1 for 12. And Rasheed just couldn't get going, but he had a couple targets over there.
00:15:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's, again, until anyone stops JSN, his targets need to be minimum 10. That's kind of where I'm at. Production continues to go. Speaking of JSN, we're going to get into the plays of the game. This was Sam Darnold connecting with Jackson Smith and Jigba for a 28-yard touchdown.
00:16:08
Speaker 3: Look like they want to blitz on third down and nine.
00:16:11
Speaker 1: Halani in the backfield blitz is coming. Here's a throw up over the top. It's caught. It is a touchdown.
00:16:17
Speaker 3: No, he's out of bounds at the one Jackson Smith and jig by an over the shoulder catch on again. A perfect Sam Darnold drop it in the bucket pass for 27 yards. We've talked about at times. Where are the explosives? There is one right there. Seattle first and goal at the one he beats the blitz. After review, the receiver completed the catch, and as a result, it's a touchdown.
00:16:44
Speaker 2: This is a, I tweeted about this. I was like, how dare you? How dare you? Line up, cover zero, Nance. No safety help, one-on-one. Jason is ISO, and I love his splits, right? You're ISO to the backside. Go ahead and tighten up a little bit and give you room to work on that goal. So the Chiefs are bringing a house, right? Someone's going to get loose. You bring this many guys. You're not going to be able to count for everyone.
00:17:10
Speaker 1: Someone's going to leak out of there.
00:17:11
Speaker 2: Someone does, but Sam gets the ball out of his hands quickly because he knows where he wants to go as soon as he sees the coverage.
00:17:18
Speaker 1: Gets back there. Back foot.
00:17:19
Speaker 2: Tosses it up over the shoulder. Beautiful catch. And then we finally have a rule now for this. We have language now for this, right? Me and B-Walt were in the booth talking about this. You were there as well. And As soon as you have possession of the football and a piece of your foot enters the end zone, the forever goal line is ignited.
00:17:42
Speaker 1: It's activated. It's glowing now.
00:17:45
Speaker 2: So you don't have to get two feet in as long as one of your foot hits the end zone. Now the ball just has to cross the pylon. So we got it now. We got to figure it out.
00:17:56
Speaker 1: No more confusion. No more confusion. Well, the great thing about that is, for one, Anytime we're watching the game, especially when we're in that elevated position watching the booth, I'm watching. I go, anytime I see, oh, my God, that single coverage, throw him the ball. I'm sure Sam looks around and says, okay, I know where it is. What I liked about that, too, is, like, you said good blocking up front. I like what I saw from Helani. He comes across the formation. He has a nice block to hold up there. The line kind of goes half for a hat. And, obviously, great catch by Jason. But it's a dime from Sam. Dime. He needs to get credit for that because... He doesn't. He needs to get more, man. He's just playing with confidence, letting it rip. So, love what we're seeing from Darnold and, of course, Jason.
00:18:35
Speaker 3: And.
00:18:36
Speaker 1: Good luck to you if you're going to put your corner. You're talking about people getting put on an island?
00:18:39
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:18:40
Speaker 1: You might as well be put in, I don't know, Antarctica trying to guard JSN by your lonesome. It's an island. You know who ain't out there? Revis ain't out there. He's not. He ain't. He's old. He's retired. He ain't doing that. He's a Hall of Famer, right? He ain't in the Hall of Fame yet? I don't think he's in the Hall of Fame yet, but he's going to be. Anyway, yeah. Anyway, good stuff by JSN. Our next play of the game, our guy Emmanuel Wilson gets in for a 21-yard touchdown.
00:19:01
Speaker 3: Two tight ends to the near side Wilson gets the handoff looks for running room he breaks.
00:19:05
Speaker 4: Free he's gonna go 10 5 touchdown Seahawks and that just might be the dagger Emmanuel Wilson behind two tight ends and a backup tackle. Takes it to the house off the left side from 21 out. And the Seahawks stretch their lead to 19-3 over the undefeated, soon not to be undefeated, Kansas City Chiefs.
00:19:34
Speaker 1: It wasn't two tight ends. It was three.
00:19:36
Speaker 2: Three tight ends out there. Get off 13 personnel. If you look at where the linemen are stepping, you're stepping right. I want to focus on the center and left guard combo there. You got Sundell and Gray Zabel. That one tech is between them. And this is what the double team and climb to linebacker is supposed to look like. You get that double team, you climb to that backer. That's the path that Emmanuel is supposed to go, right? You press that B gap to the right. Left side, you got your tight ends, all three stepping to the right side and just washing everything down. So as soon as that gap is full, the one that is able to care of beautifully, now Emmanuel Wilson puts his foot in the ground, and the.
00:20:17
Speaker 1: Cutback is there. 89. Is that Callerup?
00:20:20
Speaker 2: Callerup 89 seals the end right there. This is where it's just all hard. Like, forget technique. Get to your guy in these short yardage situations and just give your running back a chance to get money.
00:20:32
Speaker 1: That's exactly what happened. No, but I love the three tight ends, right? How often do you get in 13 personnel, right? One back, three tight ends. Barner had a great block. Yep. Saubert has a great block. Cowell finishes it off. Yep. And you talked about he washed everyone down the line of scrimmage. And also, big ups to Emmanuel Wilson for patient running. Yep. He could have just ran that thing up inside, gotten two or three yards, patient enough. That cutback was there. And it was so wide open that he didn't get touched. He got in the end zone. The corner's kind of in no man's land. Am I going to fill outside? And then it's a dulce road, especially– cow up getting the safety who comes down so love what we're seeing there holding things down on the back side and um the one thing i will say bump i'm waiting for the other options out of this formation because i feel like we're tori horton is going to because when i see this coming out it's a run and it's been a run almost every time i know tori had the one touchdown against the chargers i believe but i don't know i'm telling you this formation isn't done Flurry's cooking. These guys are playing some good ball. Love to see it. It was a two-game losing streak, but we back. We back now. Our favorite formation, victory formation.
00:21:42
Speaker 3: Here comes the Seahawks offense onto the field, and the Vikings defense trudging out there, knowing that one kneel down, and the Seahawks are going to wind the clock down and.
00:21:53
Speaker 1: Win this one. It's the victory formation on Hawk Talk. Seahawks back in the win column. It was all about the defensive football, shutting down the league's number one offense, holding them to just 213 yards. They're averaging over 400 coming into that game. Seahawks held the Chiefs to their fewest points, three total yards, 213. First down to 11. Red zone drives, zero in any game started by Patrick Mahomes, who is a first ballot Hall of Famer, the best quarterback in this generation. It goes Tom, then Patrick, and he had his worst day out there ever.
00:22:27
Speaker 2: Love to see it. Love to see it. Defense, again, reminding folks, don't forget about us. Ken Walker, he had a tough day as well. He was the league leader when it comes to rushing yards. Bajon got him by like four yards or something right now, I think. But 36 yards on 14 carries, 2.8 per clip.
00:22:42
Speaker 1: He was averaging almost seven yards, I want to say, per carry. It was nuts. And then Jason, he just keeps doing it.
00:22:50
Speaker 2: And I talked to a colleague today, and he was like, yeah, I'm just going to stop praising Jason.
00:22:55
Speaker 1: I'm just used to it now. I go, don't ever. Don't ever take this for granted. This is so hard to do.
00:23:00
Speaker 2: He's been mentioned with Jerry and with Harrison and the greats out there, and some of the greats haven't done what he's doing.
00:23:07
Speaker 1: Look at T.O., Larry Fitz.
00:23:09
Speaker 2: No disrespect to those dudes, but they haven't even put up the type of numbers he's putting up.
00:23:14
Speaker 1: No, he's doing it. When people set out to stop you as their sole purpose— extra meetings, I can't imagine. And you still get loose like that? Still get loose. I mean, Jason is in a world of his own. And Sam Darnold, again, he's taken a lot of criticism as of late. I thought he played an amazing game. Yes, he did have the one mistake, but he's playing with confidence. He's letting it rip. And that last night, even though we didn't get into the 30s, that offense looked like the offense that we saw win a Super Bowl last year. Yeah, man.
00:23:43
Speaker 2: That's all you need. Mike McDonald kept saying, we played Seahawks football. And I'm like, yeah, that's it. Seahawks football is. stifling defense, explosive plays on offense. Quarterback doesn't have to do anything crazy, right?
00:23:55
Speaker 1: Just be efficient.
00:23:56
Speaker 2: I know you had a turnover, but be efficient and then be a threat in the run game. Cause they got out that too high safety little real quick. Once a Wilson started running that ball.
00:24:04
Speaker 1: Yeah. When you go a hundred yards and touchdown there, you out gain the chiefs on the ground, 153 to 50 final score, 23, but we know TLS dominated throughout. And this was the chiefs were fortunate that the score was that close.
00:24:17
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:24:18
Speaker 1: I think, um, breadcrumbs, but we're seeing it. This is, we're finally seeing the team that Seahawks can be, have another huge game, Monday night football, primetime again, third game in a row bump. We're going to get you ready for that this week. Coming up on Thursday, Seahawks beat the Chiefs 20-3. Back, got a game on the 49ers too. Yeah. So closing in on that 49ers. Thanks ATL. Absolutely appreciate y'all down there. Anyway, we'll get you ready for that Bears game. Seahawks beat the Chiefs 23. He's Michael Bumpus. I'm Nassif Chobi. This has been Hawk Talk.
00:24:55
Speaker 3: Thank you.
