She Attempted Suicide, a Survivor's Story of Service-Kendra Letham

S1-E49 She Attempted Suicide, a Survivor's Story of Service-Kendra Letham

Kendra Letham shares her powerful story of living with depression, her struggle with medications, her suicide attempt, and life after the helicopter flight to the hospital.

Her message is clear! Don’t do it! There are people who will help you and there is a fulfilling life awaiting you.

Kendra is proof of that claim as she is not just raising awareness with her story, but she is Going Boldly as a Mental Health First Aid certified instructor.

In this role, she is training adults to be a first line of service to adolescents who may be hurting. This public education program is designed to help people understand the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems and how to help.

Like many of us with a passion to serve others, Kendra is also exploring the various ways she can share her experiences and wisdom while also paying the bills. Look for her upcoming videos, book and social media posts where you will learn more. Maybe you need a speaker at your next event?

Great mental health has become even more important in the shadow of a global pandemic and all of the disruption that has resulted.
