OM DENNE EPISODE
In this heartfelt episode of Finding Focus, Kathleen Davenport sits down with longtime friend Janet Wiszowaty for a rich conversation about reinvention, resilience, healing, and the courage to keep growing at every stage of life.
Janet shares her remarkable journey from high school dropout and young mother to Royal Canadian Mounted Police dispatcher, author, speaker, coach, and retreat leader. Along the way, she opens up about the life events that shaped her—including her husband’s heart attack, her own struggles with fibromyalgia, PTSD, burnout, and the wake-up calls that forced her to pause, listen, and choose a new path.
Together, Kathleen and Janet explore the power of personal development, the importance of the people we surround ourselves with, and the truth that it is never too late to begin again. They talk about how busyness can mask what truly needs our attention, how the body often signals what the soul already knows, and why healing, purpose, fun, friendship, and legacy all matter in building a meaningful life.
This episode is a reminder that your life is not over just because one chapter ended. Sometimes the pause is where the real magic begins.
