Speaker 2: Erickson.com.
00:01:17
Speaker 1: I missed you. I haven't talked to you in a full 24 hours. We did not. We were not on the tailgate together. You had other abos, but we're back. We're back, buddy.
00:01:26
Speaker 3: What's up?
00:01:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, I was on the live daily juice stream with Matt Peralta breaking down that absolute barn burner of a Patriots-Bears game. Dude, A.J. Brown, man. That guy could not catch more yards, score more touchdowns than he'd done Thursday night. It was amazing.
00:01:44
Speaker 1: You're breaking your own rule. You're like dipping into the third.
00:01:48
Speaker 2: No, I just know that he went off last night.
00:01:51
Speaker 4: He did.
00:01:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, he wasn't going to. There's no going to. There's only he did, right?
00:01:56
Speaker 4: Yes.
00:01:56
Speaker 1: Dang right. That's right.
00:01:57
Speaker 2: Going to existence.
00:01:58
Speaker 1: That's right. All right. We got the audience. We got everybody hanging here. Questions are going to come from your guys' voices and the raised hands. So we're going to jump right into it. See what you guys got. Who's first up? Look at this. It's our dear friend Chinzer. Chinzer, first up on this week's Extra Point, what is up, my fellow Hollow Knight?
00:02:19
Speaker 5: I've got a trade that's an absolute smash accept, and I need you to straighten me out on why I should be getting cold feet.
00:02:28
Speaker 6: So it's a 14-team, half PPR.
00:02:32
Speaker 5: I'm giving up Kraft, Oli Gordon, and Charbonnet, and I'm giving back Rashad White and Brock Bowers.
00:02:40
Speaker 1: So wait, you're giving up Kraft?
00:02:43
Speaker 5: Who and who craft Ollie Gordon and Charbonnet for Bowers and Rashad white.
00:02:47
Speaker 6: Yeah.
00:02:48
Speaker 1: Why, why aren't you, why aren't you smashing buttons?
00:02:52
Speaker 6: Should I, I I'm only scared.
00:02:54
Speaker 5: Cause like Brock Bowers is always injured and he's looked good and he's always on the injury report and this new calf and hamstring thing popped up yesterday.
00:03:01
Speaker 6: That's probably just scheduled rest, but his.
00:03:03
Speaker 1: Craft is always healthy. That's a good point.
00:03:05
Speaker 5: It is.
00:03:08
Speaker 6: It is a great point.
00:03:09
Speaker 5: And yeah, I don't know, I just gave up A.J. Brown last week, and I'm like, oh, he's... I don't want to say that. I gave up this one guy that's looking good and getting a lot of targets, and I'm like, I just.
00:03:20
Speaker 1: OK, what's Chinzer's problem? Should he smash, accept and just not worry about anything else?
00:03:27
Speaker 2: This is like the classic case of like this guy is going to do so well until I get him on my team and then he's going to get hurt. Right. Like it's like, well, if I trade for Ken Walker now, like that's the week he's going to the judges are going to finally come to roost and he's going to go down.
00:03:42
Speaker 7: Right.
00:03:43
Speaker 2: Just make the trade. That's what everything's going to say. The trade analyzer is going to say to make the trade. We're going to say to make the trade. Nobody knows what's going to happen with Bowers in this calf knee injury thing. Obviously he has an injury risk, but he also is like the best tight end in fantasy when he plays. And even if that's for like the next four weeks, that might justify this deal enough when these other players are not moving the needle. in my opinion, he's.
00:04:04
Speaker 1: Just so adamantly the best player in that. And you're, I mean, I guess like you're giving up. I mean, I can't imagine Ollie is a true RB two to you. You lucked into that craft is fine. Like, I just can't imagine you tell us what do those pieces mean? And like, are they significant pieces to your offense?
00:04:21
Speaker 5: No, I mean, Rashad White will be a nice fill in while I, I think RB two is kind of a problem, but I've got, I've got Jordan Mason coming back.
00:04:28
Speaker 6: Our boy, our, our bi-high or bi-low boy. Um, I would have extra caveat.
00:04:34
Speaker 5: I've got Bowers and Dynasties, so I do have early onset Bowers trauma. So that's the only reason I'm asking the question.
00:04:39
Speaker 1: No, just take one, accept the trade, and you'll feel better in the morning. Trust me. Just take one of those and Bowers a day will keep bad other trades away. So you're in good space here. I guess I get the hesitation. There's some depth, but it's like Sharps is limited. Ollie's fine. craft is fine and you're getting an elite play by the way rashad white is probably the best running back in that deal too now that uh jacoby kroski merits out right.
00:05:10
Speaker 2: Yeah so i think that he's a nice little bonus i just think that if you can get a needle mover you do that because when it comes down to it i don't have to look at a lot of my fans teams to know which ones are good and which ones are not and the ones that are good are the ones that have ken walker on them like i don't need to look at the rest of the team because like that's what really matters it's like really like a handful of guys really moved the needle and everyone else is just kind of like putting up middling production that again, your guy versus my guy, it's really more of a toss up. But Brock Bowers is one of those guys where a dude can win you weeks and be a major advantage. So I think that anytime you can acquire those types of players for, again, like you like those players, like we like craft, we like, like, but no, I think you got to make the deal and then just deal with whatever the complications are. If he gets banged up again, just deal with that later.
00:05:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, and the craft is no healthier, so. Oro, premium member on the Fantasy Pros Discord. I don't believe Oro's been on before. What's up, Oro?
00:06:07
Speaker 8: Hello?
00:06:09
Speaker 1: Microphone? Okay, go and test your microphone.
00:06:15
Speaker 2: Or like, Ruh-roh.
00:06:16
Speaker 1: Ruh-roh. I can do a pretty good Scooby. Nothin'? Go test your microphone and then re-raise your hand and I will bring you right back up in line. You got that. That was a good reference there, Erickson. That was a good one. Frankie, Frankie Love, what's up?
00:06:33
Speaker 3: All right, guys. I got two questions real quick. In one league, I have a tough start. I have like, right now I have Braylon Allen, but I think Brees.
00:06:45
Speaker 9: Hall is probably coming back.
00:06:46
Speaker 10: So I have to make a decision.
00:06:49
Speaker 9: Do I start a Giants backfield or member or go out there and uh possibly pick up somebody like gainwell or somebody on waivers but i'm not really feeling too great about that so i was thinking about tracy or scataboo if a less ride with braylon allen um as the backup um and then my next question would be uh would you drop jacoby lane and pick up hockinson to make your tight end two for bi-week.
00:07:21
Speaker 1: Do you start two tight ends?
00:07:24
Speaker 6: No, no, just before.
00:07:25
Speaker 9: Right now, I have Colston Loveland, but I just.
00:07:30
Speaker 9: The Bears, I think, is week 10, if I'm mistaken. But I just seen Hockinson out there.
00:07:35
Speaker 6: Nobody picked him up.
00:07:36
Speaker 9: They dropped him a couple weeks ago.
00:07:37
Speaker 11: And I like.
00:07:40
Speaker 9: I'm deep at receiver. My worst receiver probably would be like Mike Evans.
00:07:44
Speaker 12: That's banged up.
00:07:45
Speaker 10: And, uh, and then burden.
00:07:46
Speaker 9: I mean, I'm stacked with, um, you know, Washington, a lot of a, and, uh, um, I haven't, uh, London.
00:07:54
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:07:54
Speaker 1: Stacked with glorious purpose. Uh, I'm indifferent about the, I don't like think I would be picking up Hawkinson in preparation for a bi-week. I don't think he's that good. I like, I think you can roll out guys like Darnell Washington and stuff. Uh, Kobe Lane's got more upside.
00:08:09
Speaker 4: So you agree?
00:08:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, Bears bye week, he said, wasn't until week 10. So there's a lot of stuff that can change over that time where tight end could emerge. I guess for me, it's like, do you want to just sit on Hawkinson for three weeks? Just because you're like, because then by the time that week 10 comes along, there might be a better tight end option that just jumps out that particular week. So I agree. He doesn't, again, I keep saying this phrase, he doesn't move the needle enough for me to waste a waster spot. Waste a roster spot on Hawkinson. Especially with a guy like Lane. Lane's got some upside, especially if Lamar comes back. We'll see what ends up happening there.
00:08:48
Speaker 1: The running back thing, Braylon, I don't think Brees Hall is going to be active at this point.
00:08:53
Speaker 2: We practiced for the first time today, I believe, on Thursday, and we're recording this. But that doesn't mean he's going to play. So I would just play Braylon Allen anyway.
00:09:03
Speaker 1: Okay, so if Brees Hall does play, I'm pivoting to Cam. And that was really important. When he said the Giants backfield, I was like, well, which ones? Because I'm not interested in Singletary and Tracy. I think Cam is going to bounce. I'm saying this on every show, so this is a problem now. But I think Cam is going to come out of the doghouse and Harbaugh is going to kind of be with him in that, like, hey, you know, he took accountability and he said it was his fault and all that. I think I'm going to go back to Cam. So I would say if Brees is active, I'm starting Cam Skadaboo.
00:09:35
Speaker 11: If.
00:09:35
Speaker 1: priest is not and he ain't got no worries it's braylon allen but you're starting braylon no matter what.
00:09:41
Speaker 2: Yeah because brown's still gonna get his touches so and he's placing the niami dolphins i mean even the thing with scataboo that i don't think you're wrong about the only thing that concerns me is he could get 15 carries for 50 yards and still be bad a bad pick right it's true like he's been an rb3 most of the season even when he's been the lead ball carrier for a giant's run game that's been lackluster and he's facing the texans on the road like that sucks so.
00:10:08
Speaker 1: It hasn't been as good i mean it sucks as a general but their d-line hasn't been as good i don't know getting nausea out like to me that's a guy that could be They take away one of the annoying dudes, the annoying guys that could come in on like a short goal line situation.
00:10:19
Speaker 2: But they just brought Singletary back in too, though.
00:10:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's annoying on like long drive stuff.
00:10:23
Speaker 2: Tracy scored twice last week. I don't think anything from last week suggests that they're going to do less Tyrone Tracy.
00:10:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
00:10:29
Speaker 2: Like he played like, I mean, among all the running backs, he played the best. So I just, yeah.
00:10:36
Speaker 1: It's fair.
00:10:36
Speaker 2: Again, I think you're right about him bouncing back, but to the extent of like, He was an RB three this week, like which technically is the bounce back from last week, which he was a total zero. So and I guess like for me, it's like I want to see Brees all I prove it to me and be like that. He's good to go and like healthy versus I'm Braylon Allen did like he's been balling out.
00:10:56
Speaker 6: Right.
00:10:57
Speaker 1: Just Brees coming in is a problem. That's all. But I get why you want to stick with him because it's like, why are they going to go away from Brees immediately and not he's going to get some touches. And if those touches are the same as Scadaboo at this point, I probably would too. It's a great matchup for the Jets too.
00:11:11
Speaker 2: I don't think it's crazy to think that the Braylon Allen and Cam Scadaboo could have similar workloads. Even if Scadaboo is the RB1 in his backfield and Allen is behind Brees because they like to run the football between those two guys.
00:11:24
Speaker 1: You're selling me on Braylon being more viable with Brees there too. I'm still Cam, but it's a good sell. That's a good job.
00:11:33
Speaker 4: All right.
00:11:33
Speaker 2: It's a good problem to have. Hopefully Brees just doesn't play, and then it's easy.
00:11:36
Speaker 1: I brought up Austin. I forgot to bring up Oro. Oro, you're next. Austin, what's up, dude?
00:11:41
Speaker 6: Hey, what's up?
00:11:42
Speaker 13: So I have Trevor Lawrence on by this week, and I'm looking for a replacement at quarterback.
00:11:47
Speaker 14: Would you guys go with Kirk Cousins or Geno?
00:11:51
Speaker 12: Geno.
00:11:52
Speaker 1: Oh, I love Geno this week.
00:11:54
Speaker 11: Dolphins?
00:11:55
Speaker 2: Geno. Chef's going to cook.
00:11:56
Speaker 1: Cook? Garrett Wills?
00:11:58
Speaker 2: Geno.
00:11:58
Speaker 9: Cooper?
00:11:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm in. I'm Geno. Gino for both of us.
00:12:03
Speaker 3: Oh, row.
00:12:03
Speaker 1: How are we doing now?
00:12:05
Speaker 12: You guys hear me now?
00:12:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, we got you.
00:12:07
Speaker 12: Yes.
00:12:08
Speaker 6: Awesome.
00:12:09
Speaker 12: Uh, thanks guys.
00:12:11
Speaker 15: Uh, so I'm in a, uh, 12 team, uh, full PPR. And I have this trade that someone sent me that I've just been thinking about for the past day now. So for context, I have James cook. I have breeze hall, Braylon Allen, uh, DeAndre Swift and Woody Marks as my running backs. And then I have CeeDee Lamb, Christian Watson, and Chris Olave from my wide receiver group. Should I trade away CeeDee Lamb and DeAndre Swift for Puka Nakua and Jeremiah Love?
00:12:50
Speaker 12: What do you guys think about that?
00:12:51
Speaker 1: That's like a version of what we've been talking about. We've been talking about that decently enough. where it's like love and this great player. So you upgrade from CD to Puka, which is, you know, it's enough. It's not nothing, but it's definitely an upgrade. And then Swift for love. And it's clearly Swift is a better player. So do you like the upgrade of Lamb to Puka and the sacrifice of Swift? What do you think?
00:13:20
Speaker 2: I think so. I think you're getting the best player in the deal. Puka could... feasibly outscore everybody the rest of the way without Adams. Like that is in his range of outcomes. So if you can get that player, obviously you're giving up a lot, but you're getting a really strong return. And Jeremiah loves kind of like the wild card, right? Not going to do much for you right now in the short term, but what we've seen from rookie running backs, traditionally, especially guys drafted as high as him, they usually have strong finishes. So if they can get his ankle, right, maybe you can see him pop off down the stretch. It seemed like he had pretty good depth too, at a lot of his positions from when he was reading off his roster.
00:13:57
Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
00:13:58
Speaker 2: And it didn't seem like making Swift or me making Swift expendable was really that big of a deal. So I think that this is a win-win trade, honestly, because you're upgrading, consolidating to get the best player that other managers getting two good, good, strong starters with land and Swift. So again, I know that people always ask us who wins this trade, which side do you want? Like, did I dominate this trade? The point of trades is for both teams to get better, right? Like that really should be the goal most often than not. So I think that this is a win-win and take the trade and get back to sleeping because you don't need to stress out about it anymore. Don't stress about trades. Like if you thought about it for a day, it's like you've gone too far.
00:14:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean.
00:14:39
Speaker 2: I get it though. I get it.
00:14:41
Speaker 1: We've all been there. We've been there. Think about trades overnight. You're ready to accept it. And you're like, let me sleep on this. And then you're thinking about it.
00:14:47
Speaker 2: You go through every scenario of how, like, and then the minute that you do that, it's like you get the report about Puka's sports journey. It's like, oh, no, not again.
00:14:54
Speaker 1: Had I just waited three more minutes. You ever had a play? You ever had a dream about a player that you were like in a trade or like some decision?
00:15:04
Speaker 2: Yes, I think I had a dream about Drake May against like when he played the Cardinals a couple years ago. Then he was going to like throw for like 500 yards.
00:15:11
Speaker 1: So you wake up and then you just hammered on the BP show.
00:15:13
Speaker 2: You're like, yep, I didn't work out.
00:15:16
Speaker 1: But no, I guess it usually doesn't.
00:15:18
Speaker 15: All right.
00:15:18
Speaker 2: So I'm not I'm not the prophecy.
00:15:21
Speaker 1: You're not going to follow your dream. You're going to follow your dreams there. Catalyst, what's up?
00:15:26
Speaker 12: Hi guys.
00:15:27
Speaker 13: Thanks for having me on. Um, I'm just trying to get a consensus as far as how to approach my RB room. So I just posted the situation in chat and it's getting really like stressful with, um, price injured, not living up to the rep, the first round, um, like stock, uh, scats like with the sit and then Brown also having like a rough start too.
00:15:51
Speaker 1: Okay. Um, So I'm sorry. So what's the, I see the frustration on there where, where are you? I mean, I think you have two locked in running backs. What were you looking for?
00:15:59
Speaker 13: Yeah. I was like curious as far as like, if I should consider, um, like getting an upgrade at the RV spot at the very least, like RB two, if Tutton can carry as an RV one.
00:16:10
Speaker 2: So far I'm six.
00:16:11
Speaker 13: No, right now.
00:16:12
Speaker 1: Is this a redraft?
00:16:14
Speaker 13: Uh, this is a dynasty super flex.
00:16:15
Speaker 3: Okay.
00:16:16
Speaker 12: Yeah.
00:16:16
Speaker 1: That's important. Cause I was being like, who cares about price? Why the price matter here? Well, now he matters. That's, That's the whole thing. Okay, so I'm sorry. So repeat, what was the thing about Tootin'?.
00:16:26
Speaker 13: So if I should upgrade my RB2 spot, if I'm going to try to ride the RB1 for the team.
00:16:33
Speaker 1: Okay, what do you think about that, Erickson? I mean, that would probably involve maybe moving a price, underselling him a little bit. I mean, obviously you want to do it, but do you think it's feasible to do?
00:16:46
Speaker 2: I think I would just hold. He said he's, what, 6-0? I know a lot of it's because he's 12th in points against, so he's gotten lucky with his schedule.
00:16:56
Speaker 1: And you love Chase Brown right now, too, to buy.
00:16:58
Speaker 6: Yeah.
00:17:00
Speaker 2: I think the best is yet to come. I mean, how good is Jamar Chaseman this year? I don't think he's been spectacular at all. But this is typical Bengals, is it not? Where they always start the season kind of like, man, like they're not that good. And then we were all like, Oh, like why did you ask him our chase in the top three? And then he, and then he goes off for like 300 yards and you're like, Oh yeah, that's why we do have to do our chase so high. So I still think chase Brown to be an army one. I think that you got two top 15 running backs rest season with tootin and chase Brown.
00:17:28
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:17:28
Speaker 2: So I think that's enough to get you there. Um, and I just don't see a scenario where scattered, I mean, you can't trade scattered right now. This is the worst time to trade him. Price is hurt. Kendra Miller is a nice stop gap as a flex play. So I think you've got enough running backs here to, to work with obviously. And I don't think there's any way you can get, especially in dynasty. Like you're not getting Bijan. You're not getting to get Gibbs. You're not getting Walker. Like, and those are the guys that are like really moving. I mean, maybe you want to go after McCaffrey. Like he's probably like, he's obviously.
00:18:01
Speaker 1: Henry buying in on Henry. Would you sacrifice the Darien price for one of those older backs?
00:18:11
Speaker 2: I think it matters if you are trying... I mean, if you're trying to go for it, then yeah, I think that's obvious. So, I mean, obviously, Henry, even in... I know that Worm is a little bit lower on Henry the rest of the season, but, I mean, he's going to outscore Jadarian Price. Like, that's not a hot take. And then that gives you three top 15 running backs at worst. So, maybe that's a deal you entertain. If you really want to go for it this year, then I think, yeah, Jadarian Price.
00:18:35
Speaker 1: I'd be really curious what, like, your league would be willing to do.
00:18:38
Speaker 2: But it's... It feels... it feels very reactionary though, to the start of the year, because price, what was a top five rookie dynasty pick? Would you trade a top five rookie dynasty pick for Derek Henry straight up? Yeah. I mean, probably not like probably not, but given the context of you're trying to make a run, like maybe Derek Henry's not the right target. Maybe, maybe Bucky Irving or something like that. I don't know. Um, it's a little bit tougher. Yeah.
00:19:04
Speaker 1: Well, and also I think he said it's like super flex and tight end premium. Like, all the positional stuff is kind of like all over the board. That makes that one.
00:19:11
Speaker 6: Yeah.
00:19:11
Speaker 2: I don't, I think, I think I would just hold man. I mean, look, you got, you banked the wins because you got the easy schedule. You're also fourth and points for, so yeah, I don't, I don't think, I don't think you need.
00:19:23
Speaker 6: To blow it up.
00:19:24
Speaker 11: I know.
00:19:24
Speaker 2: I feel like we always do this, right? We talk on five minutes about this team. You know what? But, but, but I think that the, they appreciate it when we are catalysts. Again, don't want to put words in your mouth. I feel like they appreciate when we at least try to unpack everything, look at every angle, be like.
00:19:37
Speaker 9: You know what?
00:19:38
Speaker 2: Log off. I think we're good here.
00:19:42
Speaker 1: We don't try to– you and I definitely don't try to just give cookie cutter answers of like, yep. No, like when it deserves conversation, we do it. And hopefully people appreciate that. We've got a ton more questions. We've got more people coming up, but I want to tell you guys about poly market. It's a stock exchange for sports buying in and selling out on your terms. 00:20:32
Speaker 12: Hey.
00:20:33
Speaker 1: Hey, guys.
00:20:34
Speaker 4: Hey, Eric. You already kind of answered my question in the AMA thread, but I just wanted to kind of expand upon it and give Chris a chance to respond as well. So I'm 5-1 in a 12-man PPR league. I've got a ton of depth, but it's only a four-man bench. So with Charbonnet and Tyson coming off IR, I'm going to have to make room for them. So I'm thinking of some two-for-one and three-for-two trades. So I'm pretty flush with RBs. Everyone else isn't. I've got Gibbs. I picked up Jacobs off waivers for free. I've got Stevenson, Skadabo, B. Allen, and then Sharps and Corum. My wide receiver room needs a little help. I've got Flowers, Jamo, and then Tyson coming off IR. This guy in my league approached me with two different offers. One was he'd give me Watson for Jacobs and Stevenson, and the other is he'd give me Garrett Wilson and Pickens for Jacobs, Stevenson, and Jamo. Eric Erickson, you said like you were kind of leaning towards one, but you didn't really love it. Given them, we have to just dump players onto the waiver wire otherwise, because I've got guys coming off IR. Would you suggest taking these trades just to free up that that or to take advantage of the depth? Or what would you suggest?
00:21:41
Speaker 1: I love that first one. What did you not like, Erickson? Which one did you not– you didn't like one of them or you didn't.
00:21:46
Speaker 2: Like the Watson one?
00:21:49
Speaker 4: So he said– you said you didn't love Watson for Jacobs and Stevenson, but you could deal with it. And you weren't really a huge fan of the Garrett Wilson and Pickens in exchange for Jacobs, Stevenson, and Jamal.
00:22:01
Speaker 2: Correct.
00:22:02
Speaker 12: That's what I thought.
00:22:03
Speaker 1: Oh, I love both of them. I mean I know you're kind of silly on Watson right now. Um, we've talked about that in a bunch of shows cause you're worried, you know, they, they get a little bit more into like a, a run heavy side and they might start passing the ball as much. And I know that's been kind of your narrative in there, but any new thoughts? I mean, I gotta tell you, I think both of those are in play for me. I mean, you lucked into Jacobs, which I will say it sounded like he had a bunch of running backs that like might not have jobs soon, but I just, I'll do both of those trades.
00:22:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think, too, and I don't know if I knew this when he first asked me. I didn't know he got Jacobs for, like, free. So I kind of like the idea of, like, I mean, you just free roll. Like, okay, I pick this guy up for nothing, and then I can get Christian Watson for him and Ramondre. That was the deal. I'm trying to see exactly what I said because I want to make sure that I remember what I said exactly.
00:22:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, so you have Brandon Allen who's going to lose. See, this is his only problem.
00:23:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I said I like the first deal.
00:23:05
Speaker 12: Sorry. Oh, you did?
00:23:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agreed with you.
00:23:07
Speaker 11: Yeah.
00:23:07
Speaker 1: Okay, so you and I agree. I mean, when you do trade, because what was the first one? It was Jacobs and Ramondre for Watson. Yeah, I mean, then he's going to have Skadaboo, Allen, Sharps, and Corham. So if we are being honest, you are going to not have a true RB2 after that. But, I mean, I still just like the trade. There's still some concern around Jacobs. Like, something can.
00:23:30
Speaker 2: Happen in the season. Yeah. So again, like I liked the first offer of the two that he, uh, because I didn't, I wasn't like over the moon about getting Garrett Wilson and like George Pickens and then trading away Antonio William or excuse me, Jameson, William Stevens and Jacobs. Cause like Jacobs can be like literally an RB one rest of the way.
00:23:48
Speaker 11: Right.
00:23:48
Speaker 2: And I there's value to that, but I guess because he picked him up for literally nothing to me, it's just like, now I don't have to even sweat like what Jacobs does. It doesn't matter to me because he was a better player. I got literally for nothing. I'm freeing up a roster spot by getting Christian Watson. And then even Christian Watson doesn't live up to being wide receiver, whatever top three rest of the season. Like, I mean, he's still going to be a top 12 wide receiver when it's all said and done. I will got him for two waiver guys. Like that's true.
00:24:17
Speaker 1: I will say I would love to attempt to try to package Jacobs with like a quorum and sharps instead of remand.
00:24:24
Speaker 12: Right.
00:24:25
Speaker 1: Just so I have like maybe a remand race, scataboo RV to back and forth every single week. because the guy's clearly buying Jacobs cause he thinks Jacobs is going to be an RV one. So like I might attempt that, but at the end of the day, like I probably just still pull the trigger just because like you're getting, you're getting a great top end wide receiver. So yeah, that's fun trade.
00:24:44
Speaker 11: Okay.
00:24:44
Speaker 1: That's fun.
00:24:45
Speaker 2: You should see those.
00:24:46
Speaker 11: All right.
00:24:46
Speaker 10: Yeah.
00:24:46
Speaker 2: And yeah. And I, yeah. And I, but I'm glad that we got your, your opinion too. And you definitely liked the first deal. So yeah, that was like, Oh, uh, what up?
00:24:55
Speaker 12: How's it going guys?
00:24:56
Speaker 1: How about you?
00:24:59
Speaker 12: Not too bad.
00:25:00
Speaker 14: I'm trying to figure out my running back situation because it's definitely a mess. So I've got K-9 and Bashel Tootin and Tutton's on by. I'm rolling with Braylon this week.
00:25:18
Speaker 12: I know Brees is kind of coming back.
00:25:22
Speaker 14: And I'm hoping Braylon still gets some touches even with Brees coming back because of how well he's played but you know, I definitely feel like I need depth at running back because after that it's Tyrone Tracy. So, you know, if any of those two main guys go down, I'm definitely in a, you know, in a tough situation with running back. So my question is, I've got some guys on waiver wires that I'm looking at. I'm not sure who to drop though. I just picked up Tyrone. I know, you know, that backfill situation is terrible too. You know, so, you know, should I, cause I'm looking at like Jonah Coleman. Um, I know he's fixing to come back. He did pretty well until he got hurt. Uh, also kind of keeping an eye on that indie situation. Uh, if, if JT gets traded, I'm kind of looking at Seth McGowan. I know he's kind of impressed some. So, you know, should I, should I, uh, go ahead and try to stash those guys or just kind of keep an eye on them or that's.
00:26:25
Speaker 12: Kind of what I'm looking at.
00:26:26
Speaker 14: Cause I, I need, I kind of feel like I need help and trading is impossible in that league.
00:26:30
Speaker 1: So, um, I, I think we're both, I'm going to speak for Erickson here. We're going to stash Jonah Coleman. Like that's, yeah, we're going to make that move.
00:26:39
Speaker 8: Yeah.
00:26:39
Speaker 2: I would rather have Jonah Coleman than Taron Tracy.
00:26:42
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:26:43
Speaker 1: A hundred percent. And I mean, I need, I like Tracy to be honest with mine has my, a little bit more standalone value to this week, but Braylon Allen is the better play regardless of what happens. So you start Braylon Allen, you dump Tracy, you pick up Jonah Coleman and, I mean, honestly, like anything could happen. I don't think Jonathan Taylor's getting traded. I think it's I think it's like wildly speculative. It's well below like the idea of Saquon Barkley getting traded. But I see where you're going with it. But I want to speculate on Coleman.
00:27:11
Speaker 2: Didn't Jonathan Taylor just sign a new contract?
00:27:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like it was like last year, this year.
00:27:15
Speaker 2: It doesn't make a lot of sense for a team to pick up a older running back who just signed. Because then you get the new contract when you trade for him. I guess contenders always kind of do different things, but.
00:27:26
Speaker 1: Everybody ships out the best players when a team is like hurting. And it's like, why? Like, it's the same thing in fantasy and rebuilds in dynasty where people are like, well, I'm kind of struggling this year. And it's like, should I trade this guy? It's like, no, don't trade your players that you want to build around. Like trade the, the ancillary pieces. I just don't see Jonathan Taylor going anywhere.
00:27:44
Speaker 2: I mean, you know, new GM. Yeah. Anything can happen, but I would value Coleman. The Seth McGowan shout though is good. he does deserve some flowers. Like I thought that he has look good in his limited stint. And obviously he's asserted himself as the RB two on that roster. JT also can get banged up. So McGowan, especially in dynasty leagues, if he's floating out there, cause I know that there's a potential in some of these shallower dynasty leagues, he might be out there and make sure he's rostered.
00:28:09
Speaker 1: So Jonah Coleman now, Jonah Coleman. All right, let's go to Joe premium member on the discord.
00:28:18
Speaker 2: What's up?
00:28:19
Speaker 14: What's up Joe?
00:28:21
Speaker 1: No, There we go.
00:28:23
Speaker 12: Hey, what's up, guys?
00:28:23
Speaker 10: What up?
00:28:24
Speaker 16: Hey, so I have a full point PPR start and sit question and also some waiver questions. So the sit and start for full PPR for RB2, I'm looking at who.
00:28:38
Speaker 12: Should I start, Aaron Jones or Woody Marks?
00:28:41
Speaker 16: And for full PPR, did I drop Kalen Black or Emmitt Johnson for Rashad White?
00:28:48
Speaker 12: I have Kenneth Walker as RB1, so that's kind of like a handcuffed.
00:28:51
Speaker 16: And then for half PPR, should I drop Marvin Harrison Jr.
00:28:56
Speaker 12: For Ladd McConkie? Somebody dropped him.
00:28:57
Speaker 16: And should I drop Kenji Miller for Rashad White?
00:29:00
Speaker 17: Okay, hold on.
00:29:00
Speaker 1: You're going to have to stay here. That's too many. My brain doesn't work like that. Marvin Harrison for Ladd, yes. Right, Harrison?
00:29:09
Speaker 4: Yes.
00:29:10
Speaker 1: Drop Kenji Miller for Rashad White. Right?
00:29:14
Speaker 12: Okay, we're there.
00:29:15
Speaker 1: Now we got to go back to the first two. What was like the first two?
00:29:18
Speaker 2: If I start Woody Marks or Aaron Jones, I would start Woody Marks.
00:29:21
Speaker 4: Yes.
00:29:23
Speaker 2: Actually, I'm going to start with Marks, no matter what.
00:29:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, no matter what. I think it was the second question.
00:29:28
Speaker 16: Yeah, it's full PPR. Should I drop Kalen Black or Emmett Johnson for Rashad White? But I have Kenneth Walker as a RB one. So I don't know if I should just.
00:29:36
Speaker 1: Like, yeah, I think you got to get Rashad white right now. Thank you for the question, dude. Questions. I think you got to get Rashad white and he's got to go.
00:29:45
Speaker 12: You know, it's so funny.
00:29:46
Speaker 1: I have the exact same situation in, in a league pentathlon. We, and me and Bogman share a team. We have Kalen black and Emmett Johnson. And like, we are faced with bi-weeks. I'm like, These guys are going to have to go at some point, you know, like one of them is going to have to go and we're going to have to jettison one. And, you know, he's a big Emmett Johnson guy.
00:30:05
Speaker 2: So you just, you just hope that the week that you drop them is not the week that there's the injury. And you're just like, fingers crossed, like, and you know, you just got to live with it, but you got to make moves and write. Those guys don't have value to play. It's just all contingent value. And I think with this person, Kellen Black remember is going to go on a bi-week next week. So yeah, exactly. Weird things happen, but McCaffrey's most likely going to stay healthy during his bye week versus Ken Walker, who already had his bye week. So Ken Walker's playing every single week, so you have to keep Johnson, so I would drop Kalen Black. And then maybe you can scoop him back up at some point, but you've got to make the moves, and handcuffs are unfortunately the first to go.
00:30:42
Speaker 1: To your point, brother, bye week is the following week. People are probably not going to stash him there.
00:30:47
Speaker 2: He's going to get dumped.
00:30:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, people will try to pick him up, and then they'll re-dump him. So Kalen Black is definitely the option. for you to get out and good on you for being able to get a guy like Rashad White. Yeah.
00:31:01
Speaker 2: He ran his bi-week.
00:31:02
Speaker 1: That's pretty sick.
00:31:04
Speaker 4: All right.
00:31:05
Speaker 1: So hold on. I'm pressing buttons here.
00:31:07
Speaker 12: Sishi.
00:31:07
Speaker 1: I don't know if I said that correctly.
00:31:09
Speaker 12: Sishi?
00:31:11
Speaker 4: What?
00:31:12
Speaker 11: Yeah.
00:31:12
Speaker 12: Hi, guys.
00:31:13
Speaker 6: It's a nickname.
00:31:14
Speaker 2: It's pronounced Sheshy. But thank you.
00:31:17
Speaker 1: I knew I was like, I'm going to screw this up in some capacity.
00:31:20
Speaker 6: It's all good.
00:31:21
Speaker 11: I just have a really quick question. So with injuries and bi-weeks, I'm down to flex pot of Trevion Henderson. Sorry for a Thursday night question. And Mike Washington.
00:31:35
Speaker 2: Big Mike.
00:31:36
Speaker 1: Big Mike.
00:31:38
Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
00:31:38
Speaker 2: Thank you for the question.
00:31:39
Speaker 11: Big Mike.
00:31:40
Speaker 2: They're talking about he's going to get more touches.
00:31:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, but that's what I was going to ask. I think this is on tailgate. Were you... Are you with these guys where you think, like, Jenty could be someone that... Because Alfredo was kind of being like, hey, maybe the Raiders... Because we were talking about Mendoza Watch. Then maybe the Raiders are going to start moving to some of the other pieces. Do you really think they're going to start moving off of Jenty for Big Mike?
00:32:05
Speaker 12: Maybe.
00:32:06
Speaker 2: I mean, it's kind of been that way the last couple games. I don't know. Again, the gentee thing is really weird because is he healthy? We don't know his ankle. We don't know how healthy he is. They said he's more healthy. He's still really involved in the passing game a lot, which has kind of been like bolstering his fantasy value for the most part. But I mean, Mike Washington has looked good in his limited opportunities and Kubiak saying that they want to use all three guys. They ran a two back system in Seattle, right? This wouldn't be the first time that Kubiak decided, you know what? We're not doing a bell cow. We're going to do a two man, three man committee. Cause he did it all in Seattle with Charbonnet and Ken Walker. So yeah, I think that Mike Washington has more upside this week, especially against the Rams down a bunch of their defensive linemen. So that's how that's direction. I would go on. I mean, I talked about Mike Washington as a, like a sleeper running back play on the ranking show as like a deep play. Um, and everything has been positive regarding him heading into this next game. I think the matchup is there for him. It should be a high scoring game against the Rams between the Rams and the Raiders in the dome. Mike Washington, dude, big, explosive running back, and maybe he's a better fit. I mean, I don't want to go out on a limb and say that because, again, it's really hard to evaluate Genting if he's not healthy and his ankle's all messed. Again, remember, we were like, is he going to get out for the season? This mysterious ankle injury. But that being said, I think Mike Washington is going to get a decent amount of work in this spot, and I think he can deliver.
00:33:35
Speaker 1: You think the Raiders would trade Genting? Who's more likely to get traded, Gen T or Jonathan Taylor?
00:33:44
Speaker 2: Like me versus who should actually get men. Because if you're an actual team, you'd actually want to trade for Gen T.
00:33:50
Speaker 11: Yeah.
00:33:51
Speaker 2: Then Jonathan Taylor. So, I mean, it's probably Gen. I mean, they're not going to trade Gen. I mean, teams like dig in on these like, I mean, I guess like the Trent Richardson thing is like the thing that's like the comp, right? It's like, oh, it's Trent Richardson 2.0 and Trent Richardson obviously got traded. I think his second year to the Colts. So yeah, no, I think that he'll probably be on the Raiders.
00:34:13
Speaker 6: Okay.
00:34:14
Speaker 1: Uh, Mako Mako, what up?
00:34:18
Speaker 12: Can you hear me?
00:34:19
Speaker 2: Yeah, we gotcha.
00:34:20
Speaker 12: I have a couple of questions.
00:34:21
Speaker 8: This one is a 10 man league. Um, I have AJ Brown, DK Metcalf starting as my wide receivers and Ollie Gordon in the flex. I was wondering, would you start JMO or Colonel Tate instead of any of those three?
00:34:35
Speaker 12: No, No, I didn't think so.
00:34:39
Speaker 4: No?
00:34:40
Speaker 11: No.
00:34:42
Speaker 8: And the second one is with Jalen Waddell.
00:34:46
Speaker 12: Yeah, I was obviously high on him this season. Not been great so far.
00:34:51
Speaker 8: What do you think of Jalen Waddell and Tyler Warren for McBride?
00:34:58
Speaker 12: Is that too much? Or would you do that trade?
00:35:01
Speaker 1: I would do that and.
00:35:03
Speaker 2: I don't know how that's going to get done.
00:35:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think that's getting done, but if that is an offer that you received.
00:35:09
Speaker 2: There's no way that's getting done.
00:35:13
Speaker 1: People might try to veto that if it does.
00:35:17
Speaker 2: If you have McBride, you're not trading him for Tyler Warren, who's injured, and Jalen Watt. I mean, you can try, but that's not... I would say, if you're trying to upgrade tight end, I think a better....
00:35:32
Speaker 1: Well, no, McBride is the better, but, like, maybe reality is what?
00:35:36
Speaker 2: No, that's what I mean, but I'm trying to think, like, could you do that for Loveland? But are you.
00:35:42
Speaker 1: If you're trading... Didn't you say Warren?
00:35:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, Warren and Waddle.
00:35:47
Speaker 1: Are you upgrading a tight end, trading off of Warren? I mean, he's banged up, but.
00:35:53
Speaker 2: Is it not... I mean, you're using Waddle to get better.
00:35:56
Speaker 6: Like.
00:35:58
Speaker 1: What about likely?
00:35:59
Speaker 4: I mean.
00:35:59
Speaker 1: What about likely?
00:36:00
Speaker 2: What about... yeah no i'm i'm shy i'm buying likely with mccarthy you're worried.
00:36:08
Speaker 1: Like are you gonna bring likely down now because of mccarthy thought you were good i don't think you can bring him up yeah but he's like top five or six tight end you're not you don't feel good about him anymore what about laporta he's not happy he's not happy remember he's on uh part of my take and he's pretty.
00:36:26
Speaker 2: Like We talked about it on my back for this team.
00:36:31
Speaker 1: Dude, I gotta tell you, it was one of those days. I really wish you were there because I brought this up on tailgate and it was just like, when's the, I mean, it's a new world that we live in a new age with media and stuff like that. But it's like, when have you heard a player kind of slam their team to this capacity on a podcast in season? Like it's week six that he did that going into week seven. And he's just like, yeah, I broke my back for this team.
00:36:57
Speaker 2: They won't give me money. Is he about to airball this game?
00:36:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know what's going to happen. He's like, I'll go get my money elsewhere and I'll be fine. Like those are just damning comments to be out there. And what does that do? Does, you know, team just ignore it and move on? I have no idea. I mean, it's John Harbaugh. They probably cut him, but I don't know. I don't know. I, I, um, it's cool if you want, if you can make that trade, do that in a heartbeat. I think you got to look at maybe it's a little port of Loveland's, but I'm just not sure a healthy Warren is that in trading waddle out there. I will say Alfredo was a little bit with you.
00:37:33
Speaker 12: Thanks.
00:37:33
Speaker 1: Bo Nix is going to have a bounce back game against the Cardinals, but like, will Jalen waddle be of effect? I firmly agree. I refuse to put him as a top 30 wide receiver right now. I refuse. And if I'm wrong, that's okay.
00:37:48
Speaker 2: Or is he ECR?
00:37:49
Speaker 3: I think he.
00:37:50
Speaker 2: Or is he ECR?
00:37:51
Speaker 1: Last, he was 29. I'll go look right now.
00:37:53
Speaker 12: Okay.
00:37:54
Speaker 2: Because, again, like, we're trying to hit the trifecta this week. We're trying to finish 1, 2, 3 in the rankings between me, you, and Fitzy. We're going to have to, like, get together then. I mean, if we're going to... Again, if we're going to finish all top three, we kind of got to squad right on some of these players.
00:38:08
Speaker 1: It ain't going to be Jalen Long. He's 28. I refuse.
00:38:12
Speaker 2: You've got to have him at least 30. Put him on your top 30.
00:38:14
Speaker 17: Nope, 34.
00:38:14
Speaker 1: I'm 34. I refuse.
00:38:16
Speaker 2: No.
00:38:17
Speaker 1: He's been the worst wide receiver ever.
00:38:19
Speaker 2: You're already lower than consensus. You don't need to bury him even more. He's already slightly buried.
00:38:24
Speaker 1: He's now going to 35.
00:38:24
Speaker 2: Just move up a couple spots.
00:38:27
Speaker 1: Nope, just went to 37. Nope, he's going down.
00:38:30
Speaker 12: Stop.
00:38:30
Speaker 2: No, this is what happens. You don't need to be a hero with Waddle. You don't need to be a hero.
00:38:35
Speaker 1: I just don't want to advocate for him. But, you know, this will probably be the week. It is a good matchup out there, but it's like every single time we're like, oh, it's a good matchup. And then, you know, the corners will get stopped Sutton and slot. And it's like it never happens. He gets four catches for 24 yards.
00:38:50
Speaker 2: Everybody looks bad against this UF defense. You know that. He needs to.
00:38:55
Speaker 1: Send him back to Atlanta. Send him to Atlanta. I don't know. I'm out of it.
00:38:59
Speaker 12: All right.

00:39:35
Speaker 10: Up devo how's it going guys um two questions for you one uh What do I do with Josh Downs, guys? I was excited for him. Eric said, I know you've been preaching it too kind of earlier in the season, but I know off the wide receiver ranking show, you guys are probably saying he's a sit, but I need a flex. So I have Downs, Blake Corum, Alvin Kamara, or I could grab like Vele off of waivers.
00:40:00
Speaker 6: Corum.
00:40:02
Speaker 1: You want Corum?
00:40:03
Speaker 12: I just, man.
00:40:06
Speaker 1: I'm going to still go Downs. You want, but you're saying Corum?
00:40:09
Speaker 11: Yeah.
00:40:10
Speaker 4: Okay.
00:40:11
Speaker 1: There you go, Devo.
00:40:14
Speaker 9: Oops, sorry.
00:40:15
Speaker 2: Boot him.
00:40:15
Speaker 1: Boot him. I say it's still downs out there, but I get the concerns and the frustration. Oops, did I boot you? Was there another question, Devo? That was my bad.
00:40:23
Speaker 10: Yeah, sorry. I had one more. Just question on a couple of holds. So I have room for two of the three. Marvin Harrison Jr., Emmett Johnson, Terrence Ferguson. I have Hawkinson as my current tight end, but I have Price on my IR, so Ferguson would have to take a bench spot.
00:40:40
Speaker 1: All right, so what two do you want, Erickson? Or who do you want to boot?
00:40:44
Speaker 12: Ferguson.
00:40:45
Speaker 1: Bergs?
00:40:46
Speaker 2: Definitely Ferguson.
00:40:47
Speaker 6: Okay.
00:40:48
Speaker 1: It'd be nice when he comes back, if he ever comes back, though.
00:40:52
Speaker 7: Maybe.
00:40:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, but when he comes back, he could be a top five tight end the rest of the way. That's worth holding on to.
00:41:00
Speaker 1: So wait a minute, I'm confused. I thought you had to pick two, and you had to boot one. You booted Ferguson.
00:41:05
Speaker 2: I want to keep Ferguson.
00:41:07
Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
00:41:07
Speaker 1: That's what I was like, kind of, okay. But you got it. Then there were, he could keep two of the, now I'm forgetting who the other two were.
00:41:12
Speaker 3: Who were they?
00:41:14
Speaker 1: So two of the three, it was.
00:41:14
Speaker 2: Ferguson, Marvin Harrison, Jr.
00:41:16
Speaker 1: Marvy, Fergie, and some other Ergie. Oh, Emma Johnson.
00:41:24
Speaker 2: Marvin Harrison's getting the boot.
00:41:26
Speaker 12: Okay.
00:41:26
Speaker 1: He's getting the boot. Good. Love to see it. Love to see that one.
00:41:31
Speaker 12: Man, manly.
00:41:32
Speaker 1: What's up? Hello.
00:41:35
Speaker 2: Hey guys.
00:41:37
Speaker 18: Um i heard you talking a little bit about uh isaiah likely earlier it sounds like maybe anders a bit skeptical but um i've just been thinking as a general sort of strategy rule and when i have an elite tight end i don't like to carry two so i picked up likely when bowers was hurt and now obviously he's back but i've been kind of flexing it likely and i think i I'm feeling like that works. Do you think it can be wise sometimes to keep two tight ends on the roster if one's a viable flex option? Or would you try to package likely with someone else to upgrade elsewhere?
00:42:11
Speaker 1: What size league?
00:42:15
Speaker 18: A 10 team.
00:42:16
Speaker 4: Full PPR.
00:42:17
Speaker 1: Oh, you said the one that you didn't need to say. I was like, oh, 14 man's good. 12 man, maybe. In a 10 team league, is it justifiable to rock two tight ends, Erickson?
00:42:30
Speaker 2: I mean, if it's working, I think so. I know that you're getting a position sometimes where that's your best option. And if you just look at the way that these guys are deployed, likely in Bowers, they are more like slot receivers than tight ends. So I think that's fine that you've been doing it. Obviously, it does pigeonhole you sometimes in terms of you can't use that flex for another type of position because you have to start your two tight ends. However, the likely thing, if you don't need to have two tight ends and you can ship them off, look, there's a chance that, you know, things stay status quo. But I just have reservations about McCarthy keeping both likely and neighbors producing at this level. We know James Winston is a fantasy King maker. We've seen this everywhere. I mean, dude, how many yards did Jerry Judy have with James Winston? How many yards did Jerry Judy have without like, again, not to put the talent, like it's totally different, but it's been really, really good. The last three games. I mean the good, the whole season really. And I just think that this level of production for these guys, it's the Texans. This like, this could be a downright disaster. game for the giants. And then it's your run to the Hills with the giants on their next bi-week. So that's why I think that right now there's still enough optimism. And again, I don't know what's going to happen. It could be fine. McCarthy could be much improved, but our biggest sample size of him is he brings down fantasy production, especially compared to a guy like James Winston, who just brings up fantasy production and I think if I could get a strong return for likely right now, I would probably ship them off, knowing that I also have Brock Bowers to fall back on at my tight end position. Given likely to a tight end needy team, I think that's the approach I would go for. So that's kind of my spiel.
00:44:10
Speaker 1: I'm with it. Bucks man. What's up, Bucks man?
00:44:15
Speaker 12: Hey, how's it going, fellas? Can you hear me?
00:44:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, we got you, man.
00:44:17
Speaker 12: Yep.
00:44:18
Speaker 2: Perfect.
00:44:18
Speaker 12: I just got two questions here.
00:44:20
Speaker 19: So in my main league, I've been there for about 10 years and I won the last three out of the four titles.
00:44:27
Speaker 2: Thanks to you guys.
00:44:31
Speaker 19: Right now, I'm three and three struggling through some injuries and I wanted to make a trade to get Ken Walker because the Ken Walker owner, he's two and four. I just beat him last week. He's struggling at receiver. He has Ken Walker and Jonathan Taylor. My other running backs, I have James Cook, Chase Brown, and Bucky Irvin.
00:44:50
Speaker 12: So I was going to see if you would consider Chase.
00:44:53
Speaker 19: Brown, T-Mac, and Ron Madunze to get Ken Walker, or should I stand pat with Chase Brown?
00:44:59
Speaker 1: What would your wide receivers be if you did that?
00:45:04
Speaker 12: I still have Zay, A.J. Brown, and Jalen Coker. Okay.
00:45:10
Speaker 2: What do you think? Make the deal.
00:45:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, go for it. Yeah, I think that's a go for it. Especially your three and threes, two and four, if that were. You're giving him some depth, but you're getting just a baller running back.
00:45:20
Speaker 2: That guy must have had a tough schedule if he's two and four with Ken Walker.
00:45:23
Speaker 4: Right.
00:45:25
Speaker 2: Like.
00:45:27
Speaker 1: Like Ken Walker's the truth. I mean, I have Ken Walker. No big deal. And this might be the week I just ruined myself. But in my home league, the Bogman League, I'm six and oh. And I got, I'd have to get Walker.
00:45:39
Speaker 2: It doesn't take a geez to figure out which teams that have Ken Walker.
00:45:42
Speaker 1: I have really strong record. I don't usually have those undefeated runs.
00:45:46
Speaker 3: Actually.
00:45:46
Speaker 1: I think I can walk in the second round. Now I'm thinking about it, but yeah, I'm six and oh, in that league, like Ken Walker is a, he's, he's a champ maker.
00:45:52
Speaker 2: I mean, there's a reason why he won AFC player of the month, the month of September. He's I think the fantasy football league winner right now, entering week seven. leads the NFL in rushing yards, and he already had his bye week. It's pretty insane what he's doing, and I'm here for it.
00:46:12
Speaker 1: I'm here for it, too. Scott, what up, Scott? Come on down, if you will. Can you do it?
00:46:22
Speaker 16: Three, two, one.
00:46:23
Speaker 1: All right, raise your hand if you figure it out, and come on back here as we just do our last couple. Stan, is that right?
00:46:29
Speaker 9: What's up?
00:46:31
Speaker 17: That's right, guys. Can you hear me?
00:46:32
Speaker 1: We got you.
00:46:35
Speaker 17: I've got a couple of questions. Quarterback this week, Burrows or Love? And then my second question is running backs. Should I be worried about Jenty yet? My other running backs are Warren, Braylon Allen, Algier, Rashard White, and Judkins.
00:46:55
Speaker 1: Okay. On the quarterback, I am Jordan Love, I think, this week.
00:47:00
Speaker 2: Yep. Jordan, what for me?
00:47:01
Speaker 12: Ford Field.
00:47:02
Speaker 1: Ford Field? Coors Field of the NFL. 53.5 total.
00:47:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, although I'm already dreading how LaFleur ruins this for us.
00:47:13
Speaker 1: 75 runs.
00:47:14
Speaker 2: And just pounds the rock with Josh Jacobs.
00:47:17
Speaker 1: Jacobs, 17 carries in the first half.
00:47:19
Speaker 2: I'm going to be so mad. And you have to give credit. The Lions are getting back Brian Branch as their safety. So I know no one's going to care because everyone else on the defense sucks, but... If for some reason the Lions defense plays way better, it's because they got Brian Branch back. That is literally 100% the reason why. Again, not a Fred Warner type of impact, but just having somebody back there that can function could actually make a big difference. So I'm prepared to be hurt, but I will not stop from betting the over. It's one of my best bets on the betting show because I don't take unders when games play at Ford Field or his field of the NFL.
00:47:55
Speaker 1: And then the second question was about, I'm forgetting, it was like all those running backs.
00:48:00
Speaker 3: What was it?
00:48:01
Speaker 2: He was just listing off. He should be worried about, I mean, obviously if you have gentee, you're not.
00:48:05
Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
00:48:05
Speaker 2: It was the gentee.
00:48:07
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:48:07
Speaker 2: You're concerned. I know gentee was my buy low. I think a couple of weeks ago, a lot of my buy low running backs have not panned out because they keep getting injured. So that's not been great. I think he's got a hold, right? Maybe they sit him down, get him right. One thing I keep pointing to, and I talked about this with the worm on the trade show, when it came to Ashton gentee, I think we were talking about gentee in like Javante Williams. Would you trade Javante Williams again? to get Ashton Genty plus. I thought that was kind of like an interesting angle of buying low on Genty and selling high on all the touchdowns with Javante Williams. The thing with Genty, remember you got to, it's a new scheme for the offense with Clint Kubiak. You know whose scheme and running backs were buns last year to start the season? The Chicago Bears. They were horrible and they turned it around. Now they had an earlier bye week than the Raiders did, but they turned it around. And they had one of the best running attacks in the NFL the rest of the way. So I do think that there is more for Genti in this offense. He just has to get healthy. That's obviously the big difference between him and the Bears running backs last year.
00:49:10
Speaker 1: All right. We'll try to get two more. Juanito.
00:49:15
Speaker 11: Oh, wait.
00:49:15
Speaker 1: I got to go to Scott in a second. Hold on. Well, if Scott, we got a promise to get a Juanito.
00:49:20
Speaker 10: There you go.
00:49:21
Speaker 1: Hey, can you guys hear me? Yeah, we got you.
00:49:24
Speaker 2: Awesome.
00:49:24
Speaker 7: So I put, I put everything in chat at around two 30 Eastern. Um, so my team's Taylor time. I'm five and one 12 team, half PPR. Um, and I just got offered the following, uh, Jamar chase. I would get Jamar chase, uh, Jalen Warren and Hawkinson. And I would trade Olave, Javante, and Stroud. What are your thoughts on that?
00:49:45
Speaker 1: Also 5-1.
00:49:48
Speaker 8: Yes.
00:49:49
Speaker 12: Okay.
00:49:50
Speaker 1: So what do you think, Erickson? 5-1 team.
00:49:53
Speaker 6: Is this an.
00:49:55
Speaker 1: I mean, Chase is like the clear... That's a clear piece of the upgrade. I'm trying to get back to where the hell it was. What do you think about this move?
00:50:03
Speaker 2: I like Steele. He already has... I mean, Stroud's on his bench, so that's not really doing anything. He needs a tight end, so getting Hawkinson as depth is at least helpful. Like, you can at least plug him in as an option, and then you're getting the best player in the deal, right, with Jamar Chase and upgrade over Chris Olave. So I'm cool with this.
00:50:25
Speaker 9: Okay.
00:50:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm down. I think Warren and Javante are close. Chase is a definite upgrade. I mean, I think that's the play. That looks really good. All right, Scott, do you got one for us? Did you get.
00:50:35
Speaker 2: Your thing figured out?
00:50:38
Speaker 1: The thing with the thing? To come on down?
00:50:41
Speaker 4: There we go.
00:50:42
Speaker 12: Hey, sorry, guys. It's all good.
00:50:43
Speaker 2: I apologize.
00:50:46
Speaker 20: So I am having an issue. I'm in a 12-team PPR league, and my second running back is Jordan Mason. And beyond that, I have Jonathan Taylor, Blake Horum, and Kalon Black. So I'm really desperate running back. I have Parker Mason or Parker Washington who a guy offered me a Saquon Barkley for My other my other running for receivers are good. I got Nico Collins Jalen Coker. I got lad McCaffey Should I move Washington for take one or I Just don't know what he looks like second half.
00:51:25
Speaker 1: Of the year I'm worried the offensive line is buns and there's no hurts and I I I actually don't really like your other wide receivers in there. I don't like Ladd, and I don't like Coker making why you would trade Parker.
00:51:38
Speaker 2: This trade is exactly what every Saquon Barkley manager should be doing, is trying to get Parker Washington, because I totally get, like, the appeal, right? Where you're like, man, I do need a running back. My receivers aren't horrible on my team. And Parker Washington, like, I mean, he only caught four of his 11 targets last week. Like, maybe I don't need him. He's on a bye. You can't do that.
00:52:01
Speaker 12: Yeah.
00:52:02
Speaker 2: Which guy is going to be, which one has a better chance of being a league winner in your opinion? I mean, it's not close, right? It's Parker Washington.
00:52:08
Speaker 3: Uh, yeah.
00:52:09
Speaker 1: I mean, well, when, when you say it like that, like we've actually literally seen second Barkley be a league winner before, but like, so the crux of what you're saying, but I know what you mean. I know what you mean here. Like Parker Washington is like the constant right now.
00:52:22
Speaker 2: I get, there's a world where Barkley gets traded to a different team. He becomes a monster. And, but, that's what percentile outcome is that actually in reality where that actually ends up happening? What if he doesn't get traded? Then you're sitting on a guy on a bad offense behind a broken offensive line with a backup quarterback. And you're hoping that the volume kind of gets him there. But as an older running back, how much volume can take a market even take on, right? We saw him break down last year after his monster season, two years ago, when he had a ton of volume already been banged up this season. What if they shut him down?
00:52:54
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:52:55
Speaker 2: That's another one right there.
00:52:56
Speaker 1: What if they just throw him?
00:52:59
Speaker 2: So I think that this trade just gives me an idea of if you have Saquon Barkley, this is the type of movie that you should try to make is, okay, I can find an RV needy manager, put Barkley on them. Hey, like here's the optimistic picture in the, you know, one percentile when it's actually actually happening. Whereas Parker Washington, I think Jaguars, I talked about on the show with worm best schedule rest season for quarterbacks. So what does that mean? Really strong schedule for the number one wide receiver for that team. And that's Parker Washington. So yeah, I think you got it. You got a whole man.
00:53:34
Speaker 1: You got a whole guy.
00:53:36
Speaker 2: They brought this question up though. I think that's very illuminating to me about like where Barkley's market is. Cause I think that this is like a right range where you should be. If you are shopping him, which I mean, do you want to buy Barkley? You want to sell? If you had a few amount of team, like what would you want to do?
00:53:50
Speaker 1: I think I want to sell them. I think the cost to buy is still too high. Great question. Great breakdown. And that's actually going to do it here for the extra point.
