Speaker 1: Seth Woolcock here and welcome into our Day two coverage of the twenty twenty six NFL Draft going down in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And if Day one was any indication expect the unexpected, we already saw the last Angeles Rams stunned the world and become the topic of conversation by selecting Alabama Crimson Tide triggerman Ty Simpson at thirteen overall. We also earlier in the night saw Jeremiah Love find a new home in Arizona, much the chagrin of Tyler Als year managers everywhere. Next up, we're diving into rounds two and three to see what kind of depth this class.
00:00:36
Speaker 2: Has really got under the hood.
00:00:38
Speaker 1: Last night, our team of experts and I broke down the fallout of every Fantasy relevant pick live on the Fantasy Pros YouTube channel at YouTube dot com slash Fantasy Pros.
00:00:48
Speaker 2: Keep it locked in here to see what we had to say.
00:00:51
Speaker 1: I think you also have nine ers to take a wide receiver in general, right, Yes, we.
00:00:55
Speaker 3: Did talk about that. We did talk about that. I think we got that.
00:00:58
Speaker 4: A like plus four hundred or plus three hundred. We gave it out on the show, So I mean if they take a wide receiver here, I mean Yachtzi bro Yatzi.
00:01:07
Speaker 2: Okay, and we have the pick in and voys, it is a shock.
00:01:11
Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, it is all miss wide receiver is John Stribling?
00:01:16
Speaker 2: What, Deebra, this is.
00:01:18
Speaker 1: A ripling to you a couple of weeks ago when we were doing I think maybe a sleeper episode because he had a really nice combine. This is a guy Boggs, you know how good he was kind of late in the season for Trendad Chambliss down there he Golden and Company. So so, Deebra, I'll hand it over to you first. Is this the worst pick you've seen in the draft? That your you're jaws a little bit on the floor.
00:01:43
Speaker 2: What is the sentiment here?
00:01:45
Speaker 4: I like stribbling, But dude, he's got some death Like I mean, you're talking about rack and a linear player like it's run after the catch, like they have to be hoping they're gonna put somebody into a debosque type of role because he's not a player that I think you're asking to run the full route tree and even like the analytics, he's eighty seventh and forty sixth then yards per route run over the last two years.
00:02:10
Speaker 3: Like, oh, man, he's.
00:02:11
Speaker 4: Okay, but he's sure as hell is not worth going in the second round of the NFL draft, Like this is when we talk about Seth, Like we talked about this, Bogman, Like we've discussed this years up to years the NFL double counting speed. This is what we're talking about running a four to three four Like this is where this is. This is an idiotic pick, Like I this is dude, why draft him at the top of the freaking second round? Like you're basically telling us you had a first round grade on him, You're taking him at the first pick of the second round. There's no way in hell I would have had a first round pick like grade on Stribbling, Like I had him as like a round three slash four guy, Bogman, tell me I'm crazy here, man.
00:02:50
Speaker 2: No you're not. This is uh this is a very surprising pick.
00:02:53
Speaker 5: Now, Stribbling had a lot, he had a lot of helium going into uh this class. But I think on mock draft database he was in the nineties in terms of like where he was going to go, and among wide receivers, he was like fifteen or sixteen, very low. So I could tell you he was wide receiver seventeen on that he's behind Lance Bell, Fields, Rot Williams, Hurst, Branch Brazzle, Bernard Bell, and Boston.
00:03:20
Speaker 6: Where did you have him ranked.
00:03:21
Speaker 4: Agman, because I have him at wide receiver twenty three in my rookie rankings. Yeah, twenty three, and he goes over Denzel Boston.
00:03:29
Speaker 5: That is it is incredibly surprising. I can up where I am.
00:03:36
Speaker 1: Actually at twenty three as well, and I thought I was Hirings eighteen.
00:03:40
Speaker 2: OK, so I like them more.
00:03:43
Speaker 3: But this is dasinine, dude, this is ridiculous.
00:03:46
Speaker 7: You know, I trust, I trust teams when they have a vision with the player. I thought they probably would have gone with Denzel Boston in that instance. But you know, they obviously have a vision there with Stribbling, and he kind of fits with what they're looking for with some of the blocks that he has on the perimeter and the aggressiveness and physicality that he plays with. But outside of that, I haven't watched much, so I can't give too much of an in depth film breakdown or thought on him. He was a bit of a wildcard because I really thought they were going Denzel Boston. I had the Boston notes up here. I was like, oh, we're talking Denzil, let's go.
00:04:19
Speaker 1: Baby, absolutely, and the Cleveland Browns now on the clock here, and like, honestly, it's hard not to love what the Browns.
00:04:26
Speaker 2: Did on day one, right.
00:04:27
Speaker 1: They added a third round pick in pick seventy four and the fifth rounder and pick one forty eight, trading back with the Chiefs from six to nine. They still got their top packle on the board, Utah's Spencer Fano. Then they come back at twenty four they add Texas A and m wide receiver Casey Concepts you on. That checked off to their biggest needs, I would say, and it's still keeps secondary up there edge. We need someone across from Miles Garrett there as well. So that is kind of, you know, kind of the big circles for the Cleveland Browns here. However, we do have the pick coming in and s talker boys.
00:05:02
Speaker 2: It is Denzel Boston.
00:05:04
Speaker 1: Why Washington, Hell Yes, So this is complicated now, especially from fatas football perspective there, because now not only do you have Denzel Boston on this offense, you got Casey Concepsi on, you get two rookies here, you still have Jerry Judy.
00:05:19
Speaker 2: You got Harold Fan and Junior all of a sudden, still very crowded. It's feeling a bit crowded.
00:05:24
Speaker 4: All if you believe in Jerry Judy, yeah, it feels crowded. He's gonna get targets, okay over Boston and Casey can hell No, man like, dude, this is fantastic. I just the Browns are crushing this draft, man like remaking your wide receiver room. Now you are leading like they are setting up like this isn't even a Shader Sanders Deshaun Watson kind of take. They are setting up whatever quarterback they take. If Shador, like I think personally, you don't run it back with Watson. You give Shador the chance to earn the starting job. If he earns the star job, he could be the answer for you. If he's not the answer for you, none of these guys are the answer for you. And you're drafting a quarterback at twenty twenty seven, but you are setting him up perfectly. You got Quinn Shawn Jupkins, you got a herald Fanagrid, you got Casey concepsi On and Denzel Boston and a remade offensive line. The Browns are hitting Homer's baby, like, this is really really good. The showers of laky ere. He gotta have you buzzing right now.
00:06:28
Speaker 1: And Russ, maybe we should have saw this coming specifically because last year the Browns double dipitt running back, They double dip a quarterback. Now they double dip at another skill position of wide receiver.
00:06:38
Speaker 3: This is just masterclass. Bro.
00:06:40
Speaker 7: Yeah, clearly they've got an identity of how they want to attack certain positions in the draft. And I was gonna ask that question before the pick came in. Do they double down at receiver here? Do they go Denzel Boston? Because I think you know, you know, I'm not a fantasy guru by any means, like like debro over here, I'm a draft guy. I'm a film junkie. But you know, when you look at Shador Sanders in a fantasy lens, like he gets a little intriguing if he wins that starting job with some of these pieces. To his point, you know, Harold fan and Junior Quinson Jenkins, you've got Boston, You've got conception on like there's a lot to be desired there in this offense and with a kind of rebuilt offensive line, We're seeing that in Detroit for example right now, like we've rebuilt our entire offensive line and it's going to be for the better.
00:07:25
Speaker 8: The same thing could happen here with the Cleveland Browns.
00:07:27
Speaker 1: I'm excited to see where Dynasty rookie rankings end, Derek, because I just said I think I have CONCEPTCI on borderline top five.
00:07:34
Speaker 2: Now I think i'might have to move.
00:07:35
Speaker 1: Them back a little bit just to be respectful, because I do like Denzel Boston as a prospect a lot too.
00:07:39
Speaker 4: Why just keep both of them where you have it at like, man, like you're betting on talent, dude, like and both of these guys got it, Like Russ, I'm curious where you are on Boston because he was my wide receiver three pre draft. I freaking love the kid, like I think that I don't care about all the forty times I don't care about.
00:07:57
Speaker 3: The film tells you everything to me.
00:07:58
Speaker 4: Like body, he made crappy quarterback play right so many times when it was wrong.
00:08:06
Speaker 3: But you tell me, am I insane here?
00:08:08
Speaker 8: No, You're not insane at all.
00:08:10
Speaker 7: I mean he was a guy that he actually you know, as I wrote him in my right up for my big board of one hundred and ten players. He is better than given credit for. He's got the potential to be a true number one receiver for an offense, prototypical size, six foot four, two hundred.
00:08:26
Speaker 8: And twelve pounds.
00:08:27
Speaker 7: I thought the way he high pointed the football consistently, the fluidity with the double moves, I mean, some of those slugo routes that he's running is Man, it's so sexy, it's so pure.
00:08:36
Speaker 8: He tracks the ball well.
00:08:37
Speaker 7: He's got good burst in pacing within his routes, bit linear in his route stems, and he could struggle, I think at times with some press. But man, you're talking about a prototypical X receiver. He could be a true number one in this offense. There's a lot to be desired. He was my twenty seventh ranked player, one of my four top receivers in this draft. And I love the skill set and transition to him in this offense. And I trust that Todd monkey and get him the football with a vision within his offense.
00:09:03
Speaker 4: And this is a goodness missmash of skill sets. Dude, like you have Harold Fannin that could really just be your dump and run tight end versatility, in line in the slot. You have Case that can do a number of different things playing interior, you can use him in a number of different ways, like you're talking about I mean, dude, just dagger concepts, like they could just absolutely just cry out Boston and Case Bro, like we are off the race, Bro, Like you want to talk about a quietly fun offense this year. I am going to be investing in a lot of Browns players this year and Redraft calling it.
00:09:34
Speaker 7: A yeah, I might take the over on a lot of receiving totals for these guys. I'm sure they're pretty low because to Judy and Harold Fanning. But like Denzel Boston, let's say, have forty receptions or something, I'm taking the over casey conception, forty receptions, taking the over like it's a sure hitting that all they.
00:09:49
Speaker 2: Are will saying.
00:09:51
Speaker 1: I'm enough to say I turned down a trade that I would have sent David Boston, Denzel's dad and Curtis Martin for Priese Holmes and Darryl Jackson gotta love that man back in the way back machine and Mike Mayer Donzel.
00:10:05
Speaker 4: But let's go no, you're not right, Mayor, this is not gonna age well for you, baby, I love you.
00:10:11
Speaker 1: It is the time to be a Steelers fan. UH and the pick is Jeremy Bernard. Jeez, why receiver out of Alabama here Jeremy Bernard. This was a really interesting just an interesting run for Bernard, right because he's someone who you know, starts his career elsewhere, comes here with this new regime in Alabama this past year.
00:10:35
Speaker 2: He works by Isaiah Horten.
00:10:37
Speaker 1: He works with UH players like Ryan Williams who kind of regrets and he really was that one a option to Ty Simpson win the game matters the team who could.
00:10:45
Speaker 2: Not run the ball. You're a little bit lower on him as a prospect, though, Derek Brown.
00:10:50
Speaker 4: I am only because, like it's not because I don't think that he is a good wide receiver. I see the floor with him, and I understand the versatility, and I understand the pluses of his game, but.
00:11:01
Speaker 3: I don't see where's the ceiling.
00:11:03
Speaker 4: Like this is not the prospect profile of a player that I think should have gone in the second round in the NFL draft.
00:11:09
Speaker 3: This is a wide.
00:11:10
Speaker 4: Receiver where I think he's a round three, round four guy where he's going to be a strong wide receiver three four year depth chart, but I don't think he has the ceiling to be like the number two in your passing attack. So like, I just don't understand. Like, and this is what I keep throwing out there. If Jeremy Bernard did not go to Alabama, if Jeremy Bernard went to Georgia Tech, would Jeremy Bernard be going in the second round of the freaking NFL Draft? I don't think so.
00:11:35
Speaker 7: Like Russ no Ang, if he would have stayed at Michigan State, he probably wouldn't be talking about in the second.
00:11:43
Speaker 2: Round me exactly.
00:11:45
Speaker 7: I will say I do like Jeremy Bernard a little bit, not not saying like he is.
00:11:51
Speaker 9: Second round pick.
00:11:52
Speaker 3: Jeremy Bernard, do you like him that much?
00:11:54
Speaker 7: He earned a late second early third round grade for me on my top one ten. But and he he was my forty fifth overall player. But just keep in mind, I have a lot of players with a six point two grade, so it's like a five way tie or a ten way tie. So but at the end of the day, like I was very intrigued with the way he played because he played the amen ros Saint Brown role for Alabama. The way that he was used in line he would insert in the B and C gap and block linebackers. So to me, that matters. I know it doesn't matter for everybody, but that matters to me, especially if you want to run the football. And I think when you think of schematically of how he fits, it makes sense. I think profile wise, he reminds me so much of Romeo Dobbs, and I that worries me.
00:12:38
Speaker 8: That worries me a little bit.
00:12:39
Speaker 7: But when you think Romeo Dobs is a fourth round pick, yeah, So for.
00:12:43
Speaker 8: De Bro's point, he was a fourth round pick.
00:12:46
Speaker 7: And he's probably nothing more than a wide receiver two at best on a good day. So I think it's a great compliment to what you have with DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman junior. But I don't know if he's necessarily going to ever be that number one receiver. But I guess after you kind of get fleeced with Philly and Makay Lemon slips through your hands, you gotta pivot somewhere and go get your pass catchers.
00:13:06
Speaker 8: So I'm okay with this.
00:13:07
Speaker 1: Derek Brown question for you, would you rather take Jeremy Bernard or Dejean shribbling in a diacy reflex rookie draft.
00:13:16
Speaker 8: I hope he's faced with that decision too.
00:13:18
Speaker 3: Neither neither neither neither.
00:13:21
Speaker 1: Okay, let me practice this, ted Hurst, Bryce Lance, just snipe. You are in the hole. You are on tilt right now. You have to pick one of them. You have no wide receivers. Your only wide receivers are Pokin Takulu who might not play this year, and Uhribling.
00:13:35
Speaker 4: I'll take shribbling alcase. I like, I like his rackability better than Jeremy Bernard. Like again, this all comes down to, like, if you have a strong wide receiver room, Jeremy Bernard is nothing better than a wide receiver three on an NFL dev chart. It's like, I just don't see the like I think the totality of his game, like I think that, like to Russ's point, he's a better NFL player than he will ever be for fantasy. I just don't see like this feel like a little bit of duplicity honestly too with Michael Pittman Junior. So I kind of wonder if that's some of the insurance with him, because you know, we've talked about this before. Seth like Pittman was basically sold to them for nothing nothing, so like I kind of feel like that's a reflection of like where his health is, so like, you know, maybe this is duplicity and giving them insurance with that too.
00:14:20
Speaker 1: So I will say, regardless, this is the best wide receiver corps we've had in Pittsburgh since ab was in town. Like if we're just being like, like you know, just spitting facts, or I guess maybe if you want to count the year when George Pickens was kind of coming up and Deontay Johnson still had his head on straight for a second, like I guess that was okay, But you know, I mean also.
00:14:37
Speaker 4: Say poor one out for Roman Wilson, that poor dude, never dude, he never got a chance with the previous coaching regime and the new one comes in and they're just like, yeah, we don't care about you.
00:14:47
Speaker 2: Like.
00:14:50
Speaker 1: I I got I got one, And I don't want you to think that I am I am, I am looking because oh no.
00:14:56
Speaker 10: I can see that your your mind is racing right now trying to like figure out, Okay, who do you think it is?
00:15:01
Speaker 9: Then?
00:15:01
Speaker 1: Based on okay, I have two two thoughts, either Bryce Lance or two.
00:15:06
Speaker 2: We're going tight end, baby, We're going.
00:15:09
Speaker 3: I had the pot.
00:15:10
Speaker 1: I didn't going tight end in my second mock draft. First mock draft ied Eli Stowers, So that would be one of the if you're saying eleven, it's one of those two coming in.
00:15:20
Speaker 2: Announce it, Andrew, give me it.
00:15:21
Speaker 10: What do you got Vanderbilt's own eliot man.
00:15:31
Speaker 4: Let's go Eli Stowers tight end one and rookie ranks. Yes, jump side jumpbo slot wide receiver, big boy coming down, Eli Stowers.
00:15:43
Speaker 1: Wow, Okay, all right, so we we we gotta break this down boys, because I'm I'm fired up just to like sort the room ericson. Were you seek over Stowers coming into this process.
00:15:55
Speaker 9: Yes, but I felt that they were in the same like tier.
00:15:58
Speaker 10: I didn't think it was like the only reason I felt more comfortable Steek was I knew he was gonna be a first round pick. And you just look at Titans in round one versus Titans of round two. In the round one Titans are just a higher, much higher kit rate.
00:16:11
Speaker 9: These round two guys.
00:16:12
Speaker 10: Round two guys really need like the nuts like you need the sam laforida landing spot to hit.
00:16:17
Speaker 9: Most of the time.
00:16:18
Speaker 10: As a second round pick. Yeah, I mean Dallas Stars from the last year of his contract.
00:16:23
Speaker 3: AJ Brown is gone. He's a New England Patriot.
00:16:26
Speaker 10: Like, could the Eagles be like showing their hand more than like, yeah, A J. Brown has gon We're gonna keep dropping a receiver after a receiver after receiver.
00:16:33
Speaker 1: Well, and the thing about this is, like sotours, Derek has so much receiving upside right.
00:16:38
Speaker 2: John mckew Award winner finished.
00:16:39
Speaker 1: Sixth in the SEC in reception sixty two seven hundred and sixty nine yards, four touchdowns, and like he can line up a bit everywhere. He can do out wide apparently, I mean, uh, Brett yelled at me and said that he cannot play in line. So maybe you can't play in line, but you can play out wine and play in the backfield.
00:16:55
Speaker 2: He can line up his full back.
00:16:56
Speaker 1: And I think, like you know, Tyler Warren, this is a former quarterback High Football IQ guy, except unlike Sadik, Unlike Warren, consensus All American, multiple years of productions across programs when he's playing in the G five as well. So coming into this past season, boys like everyone had him as the consensus tight end one. I'm surprised the gap is this far now that it is, but I think now it's gonna narrow. From fantasy standpoint, I've always been ten toes down on Eli Stalers being the better pass catcher for fantasy. I think that remains here. But it's a low volume of passing ericson maybe make you a little worried that, Hey, this isn't a team that likes to throw the ball around a ton. But John Mannion's offense or Sean Manion's offense does use a lot of twelve man in personnel.
00:17:36
Speaker 10: Yeah, so I guess for me, just like comparing it to the Sadik situe, I just think there's such.
00:17:40
Speaker 9: A better spot for yes, better spots.
00:17:42
Speaker 10: So I think even if they are slow burns as rookies, again, Dallas godd As still on the team, like they had them all to smit the heat.
00:17:49
Speaker 9: And they added another route.
00:17:50
Speaker 10: And it's interesting because they both added, you know, top receivers in his class too, both teams, the Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles. But I guess I'm thinking ahead to twenty twenty seven and how do the outlooks change. I feel when we're comfortablebout oh Stowers is going to be locked in loaded potential tight end one in this offense with throughout this with mkay Lemmon versus what's the Jets like next year?
00:18:11
Speaker 9: Like so many question mark.
00:18:12
Speaker 10: Rookie quarterback to rookie quarterback back. So I think, yeah, I mean, I'm right now, I'm not gonna put poo anyone that's like, oh, you gotta be Stowers over Sadik and I can definitely get behind it.
00:18:24
Speaker 9: So yeah, I'm star.
00:18:26
Speaker 1: Where do you think in your rookie rankings you'll have Stoars currently in super Flex? I mean I was a high guy coming in. I had him seven overall. I think maybe I'm gonna I'm gonna bump Casey above him and Denzel probably above him, Like I think I'll maybe be closer to eight or nine. But I think I'm still really excited. Like late first round, I'm on it, like White on rice Baby.
00:18:46
Speaker 4: Late late first round, like I'm moving him up. I'm adjusting live right now as we're talking on the scene. Out of the guys that have been drafted already, I'm putting Stours up to the one ten. I would take them over sadiqu I would take them over Ty Simpson, I think he's the first round pick. Like, I mean, dude, it's just the runway is clear.
00:19:05
Speaker 3: Man. It's like A. J.
00:19:06
Speaker 4: Brown is gone, Dallas Goddard has gone after this year, like Eli Stowers. It's like, I mean, we're kind of the Eagles are telling us, like what they're gonna do with all these moves, man, and I'm here for it. And they needed to invest, Like their picks of the last like two to three drafts have been so defense heavy and things like that, and vic a ton of weapons. They needed to address offense. And I think, like, you know you're gonna see the Eagles now, they need to get back to the trenches, like give themselves some answers to the offensive line and and then how.
00:19:35
Speaker 3: He's gonna walk away with another A plus?
00:19:36
Speaker 10: Great from me to play play Devil's Advocate a little bit fast forward twenty twenty seven. Is Eli Stowers not the number three receiver on Eagles?
00:19:44
Speaker 3: Though?
00:19:45
Speaker 9: Like how appealing is that?
00:19:46
Speaker 2: Because I think he's on the field more than Lemon. But I think you look at.
00:19:50
Speaker 9: Sto no, no, like that that that I want.
00:19:52
Speaker 10: I wanted to that conversation because like, yeah, they drafted a round one wide receiver.
00:19:56
Speaker 4: Like, but but that did that stop Dallas Goddard from being a strong tight end over the last few years.
00:20:02
Speaker 10: God Goddar's production was not good when his receivers were healthy. Like, that's how the Eagles office has been A J. Brown has been the man every single time. But then when somebody misses games or gets hurt, the other two guys.
00:20:13
Speaker 9: We just explode. So if that's the way you.
00:20:16
Speaker 10: Want to play it, I totally get that from a Stowar stand But when Lennon is healthy, Smith is healthy, Stowers is healthy, he's still third. So like I would just keep that in mind when you're talking about what's the ceiling play for Eli Stowers. Okay, he's still going to be the number three receiver on the Eagles, which again is Jalen Hurt's going to be the quarterback next year.
00:20:35
Speaker 9: Like that's another thing too, we gotta talk.
00:20:37
Speaker 3: About he will be so well.
00:20:40
Speaker 4: So the pushback with that though, that I'll give you ericson and just playing devil's advocate here too. That's assuming that Makay Lemon can be as good of a perimeter wide receiver as some other people believe. I'm not in that camp, so that that also is giving Lemon the benefit of the doubt that he can be the perimeter wide receiver that a lot of people think he can do.
00:21:00
Speaker 9: You think, straight up you could Towers two.
00:21:03
Speaker 10: Okay, Okay, that that's what I wanted to have that conversation because he's like one of Stours or Lemon is not going to meet expectations, then yeah, one, and if Stours is the one that's also cheaper in drafts, which I presume just based on draft capital, he will be, but he's probably the better bet to make given that if he does actually be the number two, you're getting that positional advantage at tight end, even if it doesn't guarantee that's exactly what happens. Yeah, you know what is my highest returner on investment, It would be Stours later in round one versus taking Mackay Lemon at the one oh five or wherever he's gonna go.
00:21:36
Speaker 4: Well in this type of draft capital too, it's not like you know it, I'm not saying it alleviates all of Stours blocking like inefficiencies and things like that, but going in the second round versus him going third or fourth round is also huge.
00:21:49
Speaker 1: So yeah, You're completely agreed with you there, and it is Texas A and M tight end. Nate Neat Burken Hiker.
00:22:03
Speaker 9: New worst pick of the draft is this. It's a and M tight end.
00:22:08
Speaker 2: It is it is.
00:22:09
Speaker 4: Never had over one hundred and ninety eight receiving yards in any collegiate season, has never the past one point four yards per route run. But I guess when you gotta grab the tight end to you know, you gotta do it, dude, Jacksonville.
00:22:24
Speaker 3: This is all, this is.
00:22:28
Speaker 4: Gladstone might be quietly one of the worst gems in all football. Like, tell me I'm wrong here, boys, the Travis Hunter trade, what they did in his rookie season, taking this guy in round two?
00:22:39
Speaker 3: This is hot garbage. This is this is horrible. Horrible, Yeah, horrible.
00:22:46
Speaker 10: I'm not gonna pretend I know enough about this specific tight end to give a groundbreaking analysis on him. I know that there were a couple that did like him as a sleeper, and that stats is not necessarily the real life tight end is probably better than the fantasy tight end, obviously, and the Jaguars already have a bunch of tight ends that they use on their roster.
00:23:05
Speaker 9: So I think this is probably pick.
00:23:08
Speaker 3: This is horrible.
00:23:09
Speaker 10: I'm surprised they didn't go again, they not They needed a linebacker and they lost Devin Lloyd this offseason, so I think he Hillt Anthony Hillton on the board, right, they could have gone with the linebacker here.
00:23:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, linebacker in that corner. Safety they could have used. I mean Emmanuel McNeil. Warren is still on the board.
00:23:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you got you got Brenton Strange. It's like part of Brenton Stranger's capability is Breton Strange is one of the better blocking tight ends in the league. He's a complete tight end. I just feel like it's a little bit of a yeah is it? This is the worst pick right now.
00:23:42
Speaker 2: I don't know. The stribbling one's pretty bad at the top of the second, but this is.
00:23:45
Speaker 3: I mean stribbling, and I mean this is in the running.
00:23:49
Speaker 9: I mean Stribling was essentially first round pick.
00:23:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I.
00:23:54
Speaker 10: Mean the Jaguars used their first pick. It's fifty sixth overall though, so and Brente is a free agent after this year, so if he walks and they need if.
00:24:04
Speaker 9: They need if they were like we need a blocking tight end. Okay, but dude.
00:24:09
Speaker 4: But I mean, like, yeah, Sam Roush is still on the board. If you needed a blocking tight end, you could have gone and got him. Oscar delp is still on the board, like Eli reared him, like any one of these guys.
00:24:21
Speaker 3: This is a terrible pick man.
00:24:23
Speaker 10: De Bro Fantasy Pros, and the chat is saying that this tight end didn't even make your top one hundred.
00:24:27
Speaker 3: No, he didn't still position players which.
00:24:32
Speaker 4: When I got when I got into the dregs of like the lower parts of this class, like Sey to Trey or over him, Matthew Hibbed or over him like I I was gonna I'm gonna add him to the top one hundred, but I didn't feel the necessity to like get him in there before the draft.
00:24:49
Speaker 1: This is bad, I thought too, If like you're gonna go with this like h bac type of player, maybe like Josh Klavis, a guy who I'm a big fan of at the.
00:25:00
Speaker 3: Camerack out of Ohio State, pick him, Yeah, either one of these guys.
00:25:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, It's it's a question mark for sure. However, where you shouldn't have any question marks is when you get into your Fantasy pros uh Dynasty rookie draft by you, Well, you're not using the Fancy Pros. But whether you're on Sleep or whatever, you know, whatever platform using used to make sure you're using the Fancy Pros Trade Analyzer or almost had it there, guys, but your rookie draft is win. A lot of your dynasty league trade action will happen and will be going down, so make sure you win those trades. Use the trade analyzer to instantly evaluate all trades and stay ahead of your league. Try it for now at fancypros dot com slash analyzer, and don't make bad trades. They'll be like Derek Brown, send garbage trade to me? What Derek always has to win the trade he does.
00:25:50
Speaker 2: I've actually never played in the league with Derek, but I'll change this year.
00:25:53
Speaker 4: Rickson, You've you've got some good trades off of me, sir, thank you very much.
00:25:58
Speaker 9: I took the l on them because I was the only way to get the deal done.
00:26:02
Speaker 10: Is this move not the same as didn't the Cardinals take a tight end in like the second round?
00:26:07
Speaker 9: Yeahs is? Any who that was?
00:26:10
Speaker 3: No, it was t was a Tip Riymond and maybe yes I think it was Tip Rymond.
00:26:18
Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean.
00:26:19
Speaker 4: Either way, this is this is a horrible pick. Man, Like I just I can't deny.
00:26:24
Speaker 3: I'm trying to find I mean, my whole thing about this. This isn't my problem with like, okay, find the player, but did you.
00:26:32
Speaker 4: Have to do this at pick fifty six in the second round?
00:26:37
Speaker 3: Like, yeah, there's no way.
00:26:39
Speaker 2: You don't have a lot of picks either. You don't have a lot of picks on this.
00:26:42
Speaker 3: There's just no way you can justify this pick. Here.
00:26:45
Speaker 1: It's Marlon Klein, Michigan, Michigan, Overseas kid. Yes, sir, yes, sir, Okay, Marlon Klein another guy that Derek. I don't know about you. I do not have Marlon Klein ranked in my rookie rankings right now. This is the second and to day off the board. I only ranked out to fifteen, though, so I don't know how far you went.
00:27:04
Speaker 2: I do not have Klein. I will say, though Klin like ranked, Okay, where do you have him?
00:27:09
Speaker 3: Let me see where I got him? He was.
00:27:12
Speaker 4: I'm pulling on my ranks right now. I want to say Marlon Kleine was I had him a little bit above consensus. Marlon Klein, No, No, he was tight end seventeen for me, Okay, tight end seventeen. I mean, and I only I only watched and ranked twenty one guys to take that for what it's worth. But like I had him, I think I think he'll be solid man. I think he's more of like you're in line, He's going to be the guy they play alongside Dalton Schultz and give him twelve twelve personnel versatility.
00:27:42
Speaker 1: Eric ricks In your thoughts, do we maybe lose Ericson? Oh no, okay, I know we still got you.
00:27:49
Speaker 10: You got your I'm lagging a little bit because of my YAH spreadsheets trying to look up Marlon Klein. Basically, essentially that's what was happening. My my computer was overloading. So last year so basically again talked about how he came over from Germany, so late starters to football, sat behind a bunch of super talented tight ends at Michigan, Colston Lovelin, AJ Barner never got really a chance to play. This past year. He has this breakout game Week one and we're like, is this the next guy at Michigan?
00:28:22
Speaker 9: He yets, yeah, I.
00:28:22
Speaker 2: Spent a ton of fab and on him.
00:28:24
Speaker 10: I spent yeah, So we never really got to see it play out. And he was also an early declarer, which is kind of interesting because he doesn't have the counting stand So the NFL, again going back to sometimes there are players that the NFL is just really really high on that necessarily the media isn't matching.
00:28:40
Speaker 9: That type of hype.
00:28:43
Speaker 10: Career target rate per outrun that's really strong for a tight end, So when he's on the field, he's getting targeted at a high rate. So I don't think that this is a situation where it's like, oh, this random tight ends got drafted, like fade him into oblivion. I think there might be something here with Marlon Klein, and obviously the draft capital is going to move him up rookie rankings, but I think when you look at him as a projection, I think there is some justification by yeah, he should have gone higher and he should have been higher ranked in the pre draft process because of the potential that he could offer and also coming from Michigan. A lot of project Titans have come out of Michigan, most notably Loveland and j aj Barner.
00:29:16
Speaker 9: The last couple of.
00:29:16
Speaker 1: Years, okay, okay, Los Angeles Rams on the clock. Los Angeles Rams have made the pick as well.
00:29:23
Speaker 2: And this is.
00:29:24
Speaker 1: The sad one that have selected Oha State tight end Max Claire. So if yet any hope for you know, let's three in this class to be happy about.
00:29:37
Speaker 10: This is worse than the the This is worse than the modern clime pick. I think it's worse, Bro.
00:29:42
Speaker 8: I just wan.
00:29:43
Speaker 4: Yeah, the wide receivers on the board right now, you haven't need a wide receiver. You drafted Terrence Ferguson's.
00:29:52
Speaker 9: Good too, So good.
00:29:54
Speaker 3: Is less speed?
00:29:55
Speaker 4: Just like blindly tossing dars, Like all right, whoever I hit we're gonna draft?
00:30:01
Speaker 9: Is I seem soon?
00:30:02
Speaker 3: Cool?
00:30:03
Speaker 10: Like fifteen personnels? I think how many tight it's keep playing?
00:30:07
Speaker 3: I don't know the rams are gonna try?
00:30:09
Speaker 4: Man if he says t Hickbee too, Bro, Like what, I don't understand what we're doing here?
00:30:15
Speaker 9: All the It's not like.
00:30:16
Speaker 4: Max Clare is a different archetype. He's not a great blocker. He's a receiving first tight end like you. The other thing about is I call it one of the presser is about like Sean ma Bab was talking about. He was like last year we would have drafted Terrence Ferguson in the first round.
00:30:31
Speaker 3: But we got him in the second. So you're telling.
00:30:34
Speaker 4: Us, in back to back draft classes, you would have spent a first round pick on a tight end last year. That's how high you are on Ferguson and you're spending a second on Max Claire. And he's also the same archetype. He's a receiving first tight end. He's not a great blocker. I I just I don't know what the hell the Rams are doing right now, man, Like this draft class is just flumbing sing me like, I don't I don't understand it.
00:30:58
Speaker 1: Claire's interesting because he was someone in this past season. He wasn't the tight end one in CFF leagues, but he was the top three guys specifically because he was on that same produced team as as Thinnemon, which just had like actually kind of good players, but they're just terrible because they had no quarterback and no run game to speak of. But Claire Claire is really really high projected this year. It just like when you have Jeremiah Smith out there and you also at the same time have Carnell Tate they're competing for with targets and big, big big Bo Jackson in the batfield.
00:31:26
Speaker 2: It's gonna, you know, be hard to put up a lot of production. But I don't hate it. I don't hate it at all.
00:31:31
Speaker 4: I like it if you don't, so, I mean, here's no, here's the thing. I don't hate the value on Max Claire. I don't like to fit for the Rams because would need to do this, why would the prospect?
00:31:43
Speaker 3: I don't like this.
00:31:44
Speaker 2: I don't like the fit. Yeh, so I should have been the one.
00:31:46
Speaker 10: I mean they're really leaning into this tight end thing, like they're not taking wide receivers there do they?
00:31:51
Speaker 2: Did they just extend Higbee though? Or is Higby gone?
00:31:54
Speaker 6: Well?
00:31:54
Speaker 10: I mean Higby is supposed to come back, but he's also really old, so it's a matter of Okay, it's going to be a long term I just don't think that he's like in their long term plans where yeah, Claire obviously is, Karen Furrison obviously is, but igree with deebro where there's a little bit more of an overlap between Claire and Ferguson, where maybe I expect more of a run blocking tight end that maybe looks more like Kobe Parkinson. I don't know how many more years he has under his contract or how much more guaranteed money he has shot.
00:32:23
Speaker 3: They also have Parkinson, Yeah like.
00:32:25
Speaker 9: They Yeah, they paid Parkinson.
00:32:27
Speaker 10: So look, the Rams are committed to using multiple tight ends, and I think that's going to continue.
00:32:31
Speaker 4: So yeah, but this is I mean, I understand the commitment, but this is I mean, we were going overboard here, man, Like I would be different if.
00:32:41
Speaker 10: If Ferguson flopped two in year one, which I don't think he did, Like I.
00:32:45
Speaker 4: Know he had flashes whenever he was actually on the freaking field. Man Like, I I don't understand what the Rams are doing. Like, is Sean mcvay's just gonna come out like in the middle of the summer and be like, all right, forget it. I'm heading to the broadcast booth. Screw you guys, I'm going home, Like what ever? Man Like this this is wild.
00:33:01
Speaker 1: And again to Cody Lawler and Chatlick, it's not about Claire not being on a ball, right, No, this.
00:33:06
Speaker 3: Is not about Claire so much.
00:33:08
Speaker 4: It's like a fit, like why are you drafting when you drafted Terrence Ferguson, Yeah got Tyler Higbee and you got Kobe Parkinson. You really felt like tight end four on the damn pep chart was something you needed to address in round two.
00:33:20
Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, just like that make it seem really bad, like tight end four in ten.
00:33:27
Speaker 4: Four on their depth chart and we had to go get him in round two.
00:33:31
Speaker 9: There's still to do it. Strong wide receivers on the board.
00:33:35
Speaker 2: Stribbling going to the Niners, Fitzy.
00:33:38
Speaker 7: H what.
00:33:41
Speaker 8: Thirty third overall? Dejon Stribbling a super senior, a guy who played at three different schools. Look, I know he is a really good blocker for a wide receiver and is pretty good after the catch. But man, you're you're telling me you couldn't have trade it down and gotten him later in the round, or let's be honest, probably the third. Who are you worried about losing him to the Rams? I mean maybe the Rams might have grabbed him later.
00:34:11
Speaker 5: On, but they must see heinz ward I just like you have to to take him that high. You have to see that type of player in him or archetype.
00:34:21
Speaker 8: I guess the funny thing is, like, I know, I was surprised when Dane Brugler had him ranked like eleventh among wide receivers or whatever. I thought that was high, and then they took him as what this the sixth overall receiver.
00:34:35
Speaker 6: Yeah, so well we have our first pick here in the third round. Carson Beck is the third quarterback off the board here, going to the Cardinals. This was a pairing that was thrown out as a possibility by some people coming into today, and it does come to fruition. I know that this is not like our favorite quarterback year, because let's be real, there were no favorite quarterbacks among us after got past Mendoza. But what do we think about? I mean, there's no really no team with more of an opportunity here. You know, not only is Jacoby Brissett your biggest competition, but he is now you know, holding out for a bigger bag. So there's really a runway here. Fits does the landing even though even if you weren't the biggest Carson Back fan, does a landing spot raise your eyebrows at all?
00:35:24
Speaker 8: I mean, I just don't like the direction that the franchise is going, so, like, I don't feel good about that. And now he top of the third is like this sort of quarterback purgatory, like he's probably going to get an audition at some point, but by no means are they paving the way for him to be the starter of the future. So I just there's something missing with Beck. I think he gets a little rattled under pressure. Just it seems like big moments can be a little too much for him at times. I don't know, what do you think, Bogs, It's just I don't know if he handles pressure well enough to be an NFL quarterback.
00:36:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, you're right.
00:36:06
Speaker 5: Whether he is a sustainable starter in the NFL is a massive question. But you like all the stuff coming in right. Thirty nine starts at the collegiate level, lots of experience there, really cut down on the turnover worthy plays, as you know in his last season in college and led Miami all the way down the stretch. He was good enough to not make mistakes. And he's surrounded by Jeremiah Love and Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson. Then went and got Kendrick Bourn and Trey McBride. Is a great target, right, So like, whoever is given the keys to this offense is going to be a decent producer at the quarterback position. I don't know if I would bet on Beck long term, but it's way better than him going and sitting behind a veteran for a long time, so I do think that, like Worm said, there's a runway for him to potentially take this job at some point this year.
00:36:59
Speaker 6: Do you think now that we know the landing spots for Sidik and Stours, Like you talked a lot when I was trying to make the case before the draft of Stowers being in the same tier as Sadik, that landing spot was gonna be really critical for him. How do you feel about it now with Philly as the landing spot.
00:37:13
Speaker 2: I love it.
00:37:14
Speaker 5: I don't think Goddard has one more year, right, so, like I think Goddard has another year and then he's probably gone, so Stowers can take over. It's gonna take a little bit. I don't think he's gonna drop right in there. But we kind of didn't think that about a Harold Fannin because Djoku was still in Cleveland last year. So I think Sours is going to be a great fit in Philly.
00:37:34
Speaker 2: I really like it.
00:37:36
Speaker 6: Well, I mean, it's it's gonna feel like I don't want to call it a red shirt year, but it's gonna take a bit for Kenyan Sidik too. For no other reason then the offensive situation he's in, So it's not like we're getting one guy to be a stud right away. You are sort of anticipating that it might take time for both of these guys, and one of them is with an organization that we have a lot more trust in. Fits.
00:37:57
Speaker 8: Yes, sorry, I was just checking something on Markel Bell. I might have if there was a question in there I missed at Worm.
00:38:04
Speaker 6: I just just said you have about Stours versus Sadiq, now that we know the landing spots.
00:38:09
Speaker 8: For both, Yeah, I'm team Stowers right now. I was just really dismayed by the CDC landing spot. We talked about this a little bit last night, and also just sort of the overlapping of Omar, Cooper and Sadik. Like I know, Frank w Reich sort of likes the dink and do dounk stuff and a lot of middle of the field stuff, but it just seems like there's so many guys who are going to be running those routes for the Jets, and like between tight End, Zee and Slot, you've basically got these four guys. Now, you know, you've got Garrett Wilson, Omar Cooper, Kenyon Sadik and then Mason Taylor It's just it's kind of an overcrowded situation for a team we know is not going to have one of the better passing games in the league. So I just don't like the value of Citik at all.
00:39:02
Speaker 6: Well, I think you're probably also good at this pick for the Bears because it's your boy, Sam Rouch. I mean, I hate for him, but if it's a player you.
00:39:11
Speaker 5: Like, yeah, it's it is a player I really like in Sam Roush. But come on now, they still have Cole Comet.
00:39:17
Speaker 8: On this team, right, yeah they do.
00:39:19
Speaker 5: I mean, when is Sam Roush ever gonna play? What is with all these blocking titles?
00:39:24
Speaker 6: I don't know that Comets long for the Bears.
00:39:26
Speaker 2: Yeah he's not.
00:39:27
Speaker 6: But and it's not clearly an offense that wants to have two, you know, capable tight ends. So I'm not surprised that they want to have a next man up behind Comet for now or the future. And if they think he's really good, which you thought he was really good, I mean, again, from the Bear's perspective, I think it makes sense.
00:39:44
Speaker 5: I do like him, but I mean, you know, take it out of just the tight end perspective, right, So, Luther Burden and Roma Dunze there as well, So plus the run game, there's gonna be two running backs ahead of him, a tight end, and two wide receivers, so he's six in the pecking order at best most games.
00:39:59
Speaker 2: So unless there's.
00:40:01
Speaker 5: An injury to Loveland or he is just way better than we thought, which I don't know if that's the case.
00:40:06
Speaker 2: So I'm ready for the Niners.
00:40:08
Speaker 6: Weird pick though it fits. This is yet again a player that we were hoping might end up being relevant in fantasy and a potential fun third or fourth round pick that is not in the best you know, opportunistic landing spot, so that it's another guy kind of checking off, crossing.
00:40:24
Speaker 8: Off the list. No, I know, having to share the tight end spot with Colston Loveland, who's an absolute monster. I do think we're going to see the Bears play a lot of two tight end sets. But still, I mean, it's just that is a suboptimal landing spot for a tight end that Bogs and I really liked, and and you like, we've kind of been in on him the hall, the whole pre draft process. Very disappointing landing spot.
00:40:51
Speaker 6: Commander is their biggest thing that they need to take as a receiver. I know a lot of my friends who are Washington fans are kind of hoping for a guy like Ted Hurst. I know we have some other receivers that we like higher than him that we've talked about in the pre draft process. Oh, it looks like the pick is in Antonio Williams. So they do go with a receiver. They go receiver out of Clemson. This is a player that we liked. Do you like to fit particularly in Washington, paired across from Terry McLaurin and outside of Terry, a whole lot of target opportunity here fits.
00:41:21
Speaker 8: I like it a lot. Four four speed, really explosive with the ball in his hands, four year producer at Clemson. Like, this guy was impactful in his true freshman year. So there's a lot to like. I know those numbers from the final season weren't great, but yeah, like this is a guy they tried to get the ball on jet sweeps and you know, like little gadgety ways. But he can also be a decent route runner and beat people that way. So I'm a fan of the pick. Like, I think he's a good receiver, and I think I like him nearly as much as I like Jeremy Bernard. I think I'd rather have Bernard, but I think it's close.
00:42:07
Speaker 6: I mean, is Williams. This is gonna sound kind of crazy, but just considering how many players I feel like have lost value with their landing spots, this seems one that's like a really enticing fit. Is he like a borderline late first round pick in rookie drafts? I mean again, like, who is going to take that eleventh and twelfth spot right now that you feel good about because the names we were thrown out before and are not getting the great landing spots or if there was a running back hasn't even been drafted yet. This is a player that we maybe I don't know if we loved, but we certainly liked and there's gonna be a real opportunity here, Bogman, I mean, where should he go in rookie mods?
00:42:40
Speaker 5: Oh, let me ask you this, FITZI you want Ty Simpson and you want Antonio Williams. Oh, Ty Simpson, I think so too, So that would push him down for me into the third round.
00:42:52
Speaker 2: I would have him.
00:42:52
Speaker 5: I think I would have him ahead of Bernard just because of the fact that the Steelers are going to be a run first team. I don't know the quarterback is, you know, so I think I might have him, you know, you do. Burk's had a pretty good year for Washington, and are we getting anything out of Luke McCaffrey.
00:43:09
Speaker 2: I think these are decent questions.
00:43:10
Speaker 5: He's gonna have to beat out these guys right now, and maybe Jalen Lane who they took last year. And they have some gross vets in there in Van Jefferson Tami Brown, But I don't think these guys are gonna keep Antonio Williams out the field very long.
00:43:23
Speaker 8: I agree with you on on Antonio Williams over Jeremy Bernard in Dynasty. Now coming into pre draft, I like Jeremy Bernard a little more, but this is a much better landing spot for Antonio Williams. I mean, the Pittsburgh quarterback situation is just such a you know, it's so opaqu right now, we don't know and they have.
00:43:44
Speaker 5: Metcalfin Pittman and Friarmuth right like, so there's a lot of targets in the passing game itself, and they're run first team, So you know, I think this, uh, this fit for Washington is better than Bernard to Pittsburgh for fantasy.
00:43:59
Speaker 6: Just once you brought up Ty Simpson, I want to ask you guys, you know, sort of the next day that we've had some time to merit in on it, what do you guys make of Sean McVay seemingly like not having been I know they've had some reporting today where they're trying to push back against that narrative, But like, Sean McVay is not a guy who hides his emotions and opinions very well, and he like he just so clearly looked angry. Like I find it very hard to believe the narrative coming out today that he actually was very on board of the pick. At the same time, I totally get the people who say, like, there's literally no chance the Rams are going to make that a pick like that without his blessing, but he sure looks mad about it. Does that change your opinion of Ty Simpson at all?
00:44:39
Speaker 2: Fits?
00:44:39
Speaker 6: I mean, no, we didn't love him that much, but we said, well, now kind of has to be a higher pick because he's got the Sean McVay endorsement. Are we sure he has that endorsement? How do you feel about him? The day later?
00:44:50
Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm I'm not letting myself get swayed by the McVeigh reaction. You just don't know, end of a long day. Maybe it was just the way things caught him, and he was feeling especially perky at the time. So you know, it's I'm still not a firm believer in the player, but it's such a good situation, like maybe we can get him molded into the player we saw for the first ten games of the twenty twenty five Alabama season, because Simpson was really good during that period. So I mean this it does parallel to the Packers' situation in twenty twenty in some ways, where they didn't need a quarterback immediately, they knew they were going to need one in a year or two, and Love wound up backing up Aaron Rodgers for two years, not just one. Love said on the bench for two years on ice when he came in, he was pretty well ready to go, like and you know, we've seen him emerge and become a top ten quarterback. I don't know if Tyson Simpson has that type of upside, but the situations are I think they parallel each other in interesting ways because both teams Packers then, like the Rams now had Super Bowl aspirations at the time.
00:46:12
Speaker 5: Fits are you more upset about Ty Simpson or Max Clair going to the Rams where they already have Terrence Ferguson?
00:46:19
Speaker 8: I know I hated that. Hey, yeah, I mean Ferguson Parkinson. I mean they they still is Higbee there, still vis Allen.
00:46:30
Speaker 6: I mean just a name there, like oh yeah, so you know do you well, let me ask you this fits as you answer, do you hate it more for Claire or for Ferguson? Because I was so excited about Ferguson for for me, for both, I mean I was for me. It's I was really excited about him for next year.
00:46:46
Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm gonna have to drop both of those guys in my dynasty rankings.
00:46:49
Speaker 6: By the way, tight end Oscar Delp out of Georgia goes to the Saints here with.
00:46:55
Speaker 8: Three very very poor man's brock Bowers, Brokens.
00:47:00
Speaker 6: Brock Down, Delp with somebody that some of the Ravens beat reporters thought they might be targeting in round three. So he goes a handful of picks before their Malachi fields at a Notre Dame.
00:47:12
Speaker 8: Who's the Giants?
00:47:13
Speaker 6: That one I actually like he's a player that I liked. I think it's a good fit next to Malik Neighbors once he's back healthy. And by the way, we don't know how like Neighbors. There hasn't been a ton of positive reporting on that, so there might be a real opportunity early on if Fields can hit the ground running. But I think this is a pretty nice selection by the Giants, and one of the first times in a while that I feel like it is a pretty good, pretty good fit here. It fits. This is a player that I know you liked.
00:47:42
Speaker 8: Yeah, just a ball winner. He is a big dude. I want to say. Is he six' four six and a half to eighteen and a thirty eight inch vertical, Jump so like it's kind of odd that he didn't score many touchdowns in. COLLEGE i don't know if he ever had more than five touchdowns in a single, season because he could be a guy who eventually at some point has like a double digit touchdown, season because he is that sort of red zone, weapon a guy you just you. KNOW i know a lot of people complain about how inefficient the fade routes, are but this is the kind of guy you throw all fade route two when you're at the five yard. Line so, YEAH i, MEAN i think he's a good complimentary receiver. TOO i was wondering Whether, malech Whether Malachi fields Or Elijah surat would go, First so, YEAH i Mean, Fields AND i know he ran a four to six four six two something like that at the. Combine it turned a lot of people. Off but in his, size that's still like a seventy second percentile speed. Score he's not slow for a big. Dude four six two is not that.
00:48:51
Speaker 6: Bad, Yeah i'm not particularly worried about the speed with. Him he.
00:48:58
Speaker 5: Do you. Know the thing With fields that bothered me was that he wasn't better in contested situations with his, size AND i think that's why he doesn't have those crazy touchdown numbers career forty seven point three contested catch, rate which is just not really. Good he had issues with physical, Cbs SO i just used to learn that frame a little bit. Better maybe he hit the gym a little bit, more bulk up a little bit more to.
00:49:23
Speaker 6: Be a little.
00:49:23
Speaker 5: Stronger and he really did dominate The Senior. Bowl he dominated practice reps in was good in the. Game So I'm i'm excited to see.
00:49:32

Place use The Dynasty Rookie Draft simulator to dominate your rookie draft today at fantasypros dot Com slash. Simulator all, right do have a super? CHAT i want to get to this From. OVERCOME i Think boston And concepcion is a neutral situation for fan in with The browns being thirty first in first downs last. Season what do you guys think about? That specifically from the angle Of harold Fannin bogman you, first? NEUTRAL i would say it's probably a net negative slightly because you have guys that will take targets away from him and are just better than the players that they have there right. Now so probably a net, negative but Not it's not a killer To fannon's value at.
00:50:34
Speaker 5: All adding these, guys you know it should open up everything in the, offense which is. Nice so probably just a slight net negative for fannin.
00:50:45
Speaker 8: FITS i don't think, YEAH i don't think we can say it's. NEUTRAL i think it does hurt a little bit that they are now credible. WEAPONS i wish we felt better about The browns passing game, overall and maybe we wouldn't worry about. IT i, mean our friend of the, Show Andrew cooper Of Fantasy, alarm always likes to say the key to you, know finding good values at tight end is one of the things is ask yourself the, question can he be one of the top two targets in his team's? Offense AND i still Think fannon can.
00:51:20
Speaker 3: Be.
00:51:21
Speaker 8: Yes wouldn't surprise me if he outproduced Both boston And. Concepcion it's just not the slam. Dunk you, know before the, draft with what they had on their depth, chart it was a slam. Dunk he was going to be a top two target in that. Offense now there's a little more, competition SO i do think he loses maybe a little bit of, value but still got to be bullish on. Him he's really.
00:51:42
Speaker 6: Talented another friend of the, Show Tara, ROBERTS i saw sweet at. Earlier she was, like we really Saw kenny and Sadik Omar, Cooper Casey, concepcio And Denzel boston all go to The browns Or. JETS i mean that was picks one oh six through one oh nine for us in our most recent MOCK i believe in some, order and all four of them go to the two worst run. Franchises he feels like pretty annual.
00:52:13
Speaker 8: And our Zest land in the chat asks when are The dolphins going to take a? Receiver like THEY i like what they're, Doing but.
00:52:20
Speaker 6: Just To Caleb, douglas they took takeaway right. Now Caleb douglas literally right. Now it's great timing to bring that.
00:52:26
Speaker 2: Up what the hell are The dolphins?
00:52:29
Speaker 5: Doing he's two hundred and sixteen on the mock draft data based big, Board Caleb, Douglas.
00:52:35
Speaker 8: Well hold on that. FINE i MEAN i don't dislike their draft in general until that. PICK i liked what they were doing before. That, so, oh, No, bogs.
00:52:45
Speaker 2: Is it SOMEBODY i?
00:52:46
Speaker 6: HATE i haven't seen. It oh my, GOSH i can't.
00:52:53
Speaker 2: Wait i'm like five seconds bhying you.
00:52:55
Speaker 8: Guys It's Drew. Aller oh my, Goodness oh, man.
00:53:01
Speaker 2: GOD.
00:53:03
Speaker 6: I When fitz, said oh, NO i was, like who could it? Be that's that you're not throwing? AWAY i hate this P i, No i'm not. Surprised do you hate this?
00:53:21
Speaker 2: Bag?
00:53:22
Speaker 6: Vin you want to let me let me clear the paint here and let you so much worm my, God for those who maybe haven't seen some of our earlier shows and discussions on the quarterback, position can you let everybody know why you hate this pick so?
00:53:39
Speaker 5: Much Because Drew allers. Sucks he's not a good. Quarterback he is a. Statue he is the frame of the quarterback that you, want but he is not a good. QUARTERBACK i there's just something maybe he can. DEVELOP i don't you, know McCarthy develops. Guys So i'm trying to find some positivity, here, Man BUT i just really do not Like Drew.
00:54:00
Speaker 8: ALLEN i, mean he looks like he came out of the you, know off a conveyor belt at the quarterback. Factory but he there's.
00:54:08
Speaker 2: Just somewhere he was last in line for.
00:54:10
Speaker 8: Brains then he can't. PROCESS i mean when he came in when he was At Sean, clifford he replaced LIKE i saw that guy And i'm, like, oh this guy looks like a future number one, pick but then he just never got any. Better AND i mean by the time he, LEFT i actually Thought Christian hackenberg was a Better Penn state. Quarterback AND i know how everyone felt About Christian. HACKENBERG i want to ask On.
00:54:36
Speaker 6: ALER i, mean he obviously he goes before Nuss, meyer he goes before you, know a guy Like Cole payton who deepro Liked Taylor, green like a high upside. Guy obviously Behind Carson beck just given the fact that it's round three and, he's you, know theoretically could learn Behind Aaron rodgers and is Under mike McCarthy and there's no other quarterback really competing with. Him, like does this intrigue you at?
00:54:59
Speaker 8: All?
00:55:00
Speaker 6: All with a third round pick in a superflex rookie draft FITS i, mean we've been pretty strongly avoiding him in those. Mocks is this like they can give him a chance to? Know just a hard, no even hard, No, no he.
00:55:13
Speaker 2: Sucks this is a wasted draft.
00:55:14
Speaker 6: Pick sticking you, know with the receiver. Position The falcons are taking a Receiver zachariah Branch oh gross so he stays in The state Of. Georgia speed Guy Slot merchant. Merchant according to some screen, MERCHANT i should say that, slot but, uh you know he this is somebody who has. Pedigree he was a top, ten you, know recruit in the.
00:55:41
Speaker 5: Class he's very, fast he's got a very very high. Ceiling you, know if he can develop a route, tree that'd be, great but he's never probably gonna be good in contested. Situations he's going to be like a reverse back a screen, merchant like you, said like design scheme touches type of a guy like.
00:56:02
Speaker 6: There there is room for, targets there's there's there are open targets in this offense Behind Drake, London Kyle pitts and then whatever.
00:56:11
Speaker 5: Is going to show most of those short routes like, that, THOUGH i JUST i don't really like this. Pick you could have Taken, brassel you could have Taken, bell you could have some guy with some, Yeah Teddy, hurst LIKE i, THINK i.
00:56:23
Speaker 6: Think a deep threat is a good, move and you see the speed and you think deep, threat but that's not really the way brand is.
00:56:29
Speaker 8: Used so this archetype just so rarely pants out for. FANTASY i, mean the the upside Is Josh, downs that's the upside And Josh downs is not an impactful fantasy, player.
00:56:43
Speaker 2: Right, Man, well let's get some fantasy guys.
00:56:46
Speaker 1: Here.
00:56:47
Speaker 6: COME i was gonna, Say i'm you, KNOW i WISH i could sound more. EXCITED i GUESS i. Was you know HOW i feel about. It but there's just not a lot that we've been really excited. About where do you think with this landing spot? Fits where Does branch sound like the right spot for? You in rookie? Drafts you, know he was sometimes like a late second round pick for us in THE.
00:57:09
Speaker 8: MOX i think he's still gonna be late, seconds late. Second, Yeah i'm not gonna push just because he's in the early third. Round like if If brazzle And hurst And Chris bell And Elijah surratt work their way into this, Round i'm still gonna have all those GUYS i had of Zach Rya. Branch, Probably.
00:57:31
Speaker 6: Oh, man The ravens take a receiver and it's none of those. GUYS i Liked Jakobe, lane but that wouldn't have been my pick.
00:57:40
Speaker 8: Here big big ball. Winner, yeah perimeter, guy red zone.
00:57:46
Speaker 6: GUY i like him not only as a player but as a fit for what The ravens receiving room. Needed but, again there were other RECEIVERS i like, better AND i feel like this doesn't feel like filling the the need with the best player at that position or TAKING. Dpa this feels like neither to.
00:58:05
Speaker 5: Me So i'm not you, know, YEAH i, mean like you, SAID i do like the fit In.
00:58:10
Speaker 2: Baltimore they needed a size.
00:58:12
Speaker 5: Guy he can be an En zoe, target you know him And andrews can be those guys who when it's Not Derrick henry Or lamar down at the goal.
00:58:19
Speaker 8: Line.
00:58:19
Speaker 2: Uh but, yeah just in terms of.
00:58:22
Speaker 5: Fantasy probably not our favorite fit for our run first team to take a wide out that is probably there to block a. Lot so uh, yeah not not the not the greatest fantasy, asset but not bad for Your.
00:58:36
Speaker 6: RAVENS i, MEAN I i'm not gonna say it's a bad pick because nobody really knows anything but ninety nine catches in college over three. Years but LIKE, I i not seeking for, fantasy but speaking as A ravens, FAN i would have definitely preferred one of the bell, well at Least Chris. BELLELE i was gonna Say, BRASSEL i would PREFER i would have Preferred sarat. There there are other receivers that and AND i didn't feel, LIKE i, mean did you guys Expect lane to go in round? THREE i kind of THOUGHT.
00:59:06
Speaker 2: I, did not.
00:59:07
Speaker 5: Dare, YEAH i thought it'd be like a border around borderline fourth fifth.
00:59:11
Speaker 6: Pick that's exactly WHAT i, thought, too like between the fourth and.
00:59:15
Speaker 8: Fifth but then, again all, right so six almost six four and a half two hundred pounds four four sevens being had a forty inch vertical.
00:59:24
Speaker 5: Jump his his mock draft database final like number was one oh, nine so that had been early. Tomorrow so maybe like a round reach based on public, perception but not not like.
00:59:36
Speaker 6: This pushes him up for fantasy at, all like just getting kind of. CAPITAL i, MEAN i like you, said run first.
00:59:43
Speaker 5: Offense but it depends on where the rest of these guys go and how deep they go in the. Draft If Jacobe lane's a third, pick like a mid tier third, pick and you, know Uh sarrat And skyler bellend up in the sixth and that's a massive difference in draft. Capital so, uh it's it's.
01:00:01
Speaker 2: It has to boost him up a little.
01:00:03
Speaker 8: Bit all, Right do we get a running back here With, carolina because you, know you Think brasil Is, carol.
01:00:11
Speaker 1: It is it Is.
01:00:12
Speaker 2: Brasil, yeah that's. Good that's a good.
01:00:15
Speaker 6: Pick that's starting to turn into a fun little receiving. Room it is not it's. Little is not the, right that's the. RIGHT i think of little With. Carolina THAT'S i, KNOW i was trying to describe the. Receivers, yeah that's a fun.
01:00:28
Speaker 5: Room that Is that is a good room because now you have uh, Youah, tet you Have brasel and then you Have lagett uh And coker to share that slot. Role just need a tight end now so and Maybe sanders can open up this, year you never.
01:00:42
Speaker 8: Know, yeah that is a good spot for. Brasl does that spell the end For Xavier?
01:00:50
Speaker 5: LEGAT i don't know if it spells the absolute, end BUT i mean he's definitely third in the receiving pecking order, now BUT I tet and and yeah And. Coker, yeah it might be Behind coker And, cuba so it. Could, yeah he's fourth in a non elite passing. Offense that zero percent interest for.
01:01:12
Speaker 8: Me, yeah that's that's a Rough uh what.
01:01:16
Speaker 6: Do you what do you think About brasil now as in terms of rookie draft value at this landing.
01:01:21
Speaker 5: Spot it's a great, QUESTION i, think do you Want do you Want Antonio williams or do you Want?
01:01:28
Speaker 2: BRAZIL FITZI i THINK i Want. BRAZIL i THINK i THINK i Want.
01:01:36
Speaker 8: WILLIAMS i THINK i Want williams BECAUSE i think there's gonna be more catch volume and you know we're playing.
01:01:43
Speaker 6: A better quarterback and a clearer path to at least top two. Targets, yeah in the, offense.
01:01:49
Speaker 8: Yeah Jadeen daniels Versus Bryce.
01:01:51
Speaker 5: Young but then but you definitely you Want brasl or you Want Jeremy, bernard.
01:02:00
Speaker 8: Maybe.
01:02:00
Speaker 5: BRASEL i THINK i think i'd Want. Brazl, yeah so that would for. ME i Had Antonio williams at. THIRTEEN i think you guys are. RIGHT i think you guys talked me into. IT i think it's Still Antonio williams and Then bernard at.
01:02:15
Speaker 2: Fifteen just of the guys that have been, drafted.
01:02:18
Speaker 8: B's gonna Have Drew aller throwing him. Bogs, SO, m.
01:02:23
Speaker 2: What's the knife? Fits don't? You i'll tell you what if?
01:02:26
Speaker 8: This you might have been massaituating From Jake seey for you On. Twitter by the, Way oh, really we we gave it To jake for. Drafting where did he Take aller and our our mock draft like in the third, round and we were all over.
01:02:41
Speaker 2: Him, YEAH i see.
01:02:43
Speaker 8: It you got some payback come in your, Way Bogs God.
01:02:48
Speaker 5: Uh, yeah Fits Fits bogman openly wept on our live stream After jake tagged, Me oh, MY i was definitely a cry.
01:02:59
Speaker 6: Baby tampa's on the clock pick eighty. Four let me take a moment to remind everybody that we have a day three Stream, saturday that's tomorrow at seven Pm, eastern Where Fitz bogman and myself will break down the whole draft from A dynasty perspective and take your. Questions then next week we've got full draft, BREAKDOWNS q And A's dynasty content and. More make sure you subscribed and locked in to catch it. All will be a very busy week for. Us we have the Stream saturday and then three different days worth of taping shows with the three of, us so it'll be a lot Of Fitz bogman And.
01:03:32
Speaker 2: Worm i'm gonna hate each other by the end of.
01:03:34
Speaker 6: It, yeah we'll already kind OF i already kind of do With this draft takes place In.
01:03:38
Speaker 8: Pittsburgh i'm Gonna i'm gonna hate trying to put together draft rankings for, this because this is like just talking about who's like at the top of our second. Round the top of the second round last year was Like Tyler warren And Cam, scataboo and this is like talking.
01:03:55
Speaker 6: About who's at the bottom of the first. Round is gonna be? ROUGH i mean after the top ten, PICKS i don't know what you. Do Ted, hurst by the, way does go here to The bucks with?
01:04:09
Speaker 5: Four not my favorite, fit right because they already Have, godwin they already have LIKE, buca they Drafted jalen McMillan and now Ted, hurst so not my favorite, fit BUT i like at least that he went in the.
01:04:23
Speaker 8: THIRD i guess a vertical guy sort of makes sense though for The Buccaneers brasle Or Hurst, HURST.
01:04:34
Speaker 2: I Think i'm gonna Take.
01:04:35
Speaker 6: BRASL i THINK i go brasel. TO i don't know what to make A Bryce young long, term which makes it, hard it's, true BUT i THINK i THINK i slightly Lean brasl right.
01:04:50
Speaker 5: Now, Yeah it's just THAT i think there's there is like a clearer path For brassel to be on the field more.
01:05:00
Speaker 8: Quickly SO i can't believe The Miami dolphins Took Caleb douglas of all these wide. Receivers what on? Earth, YEAH i mean it is the fact that they took him so, High like would that compel you, guys because, like Did Caleb douglas go in any of our mock? Drafts, no not a.
01:05:20
Speaker 6: WHAT i don't think we said his name a single.
01:05:23
Speaker 8: TIME i, mean do we do we have to move him into the third round because of?
01:05:27
Speaker 6: THIS i probably.
01:05:31
Speaker 5: WON'T i had him twenty six among wide. Receivers, yeah that's about WHERE i have. HIM i mean it's IT'S i, yess he got The day two.
01:05:39
Speaker 6: Capital but it's not like he's stepping into some super strong passing game where it's, like, well the situation's so, good we have to bump him up even if we don't like the. Player, like the situation's not great outside there being a whole lot of, opportunity but it's not gonna you, know we don't expect this to be a prolific passing. Game, yeah tight end here For miami will Cass.
01:06:01
Speaker 8: Merrick, uh but one of the better blocking tight ends in the. Class.
01:06:07
Speaker 5: YEAH i, MEAN i guess if you're going to hand the ball to eight fifty times a, game you need to be able to block for.
01:06:14
Speaker 1: Him.
01:06:15
Speaker 8: YEAH i mean the brain trust is coming from the A packer organization that Had Marcedes lewis on the roster for a long. Time you, know.
01:06:26
Speaker 5: They just need they need offensive, line they need head, thrushers they need interior defensive, linemen and there's guys. LEFT i think you need that more than you need the blocking tight. End AND i think you know you can wait on these. Guys i'm surprised that we've Seen boriker and all these other you, know tight end or.
01:06:43
Speaker 6: SOMETHING i know it has been a lot of picks where my reaction ISN'T i hate the, player it's did they need to take him? There Marlon, Klein that's that's been A. Yeah another receiver not Named bell Or surat X Avion thomas.
01:06:59
Speaker 2: At definitely did not Rank Davian. THOMAS i can tell you to.
01:07:02
Speaker 6: The, bears wow with this, BEFORE i, mean you say you didn't rank. Him, vogman is this more or less surprising to you than like The tesla pick from last?
01:07:12
Speaker 5: Year this is the most surprising pick of this. DRAFT i think this is more surprising Than, borker, like at least if you're looking for a blocking tight, end he's the, best, right what are you looking?
01:07:23
Speaker 2: For Was Zavian? Thomas, Well i'm.
01:07:25
Speaker 8: NOT i, mean does he play a special TEAM.
01:07:28
Speaker 6: I was gonna say he has three career return touchdowns to kick turning gadget role.
01:07:32
Speaker 8: Player he does have four to two eight speed for too eight Freshman All america punt. Returner, YEAH i mean he's a he's a kick, Returner ALL sec kick returner in twenty twenty. Four he's a he's a kick. Returner he was a third rounder on a kick.
01:07:50
Speaker 5: RETURN i, mean they have a proud history of kick, returners but kick returners kind of you, know going out of the, game, right.
01:07:56
Speaker 6: Feel feels like a bit of a heat check from The bears coming off a really exciting. Season, Yeah bell is still on the, board, gentlemen and we're taking a kick.
01:08:04
Speaker 2: Returner what are we? Doing this? Is this is insane to.
01:08:09
Speaker 5: Me this is still the third, Round like you can make these picks in the fourth and fifth even in this.
01:08:13
Speaker 8: Class, well, look this is the franchise that Had Devin. Hester, yeah And Xavian thomas is a distant relative Of Walter. Peyton, okay all, Right Walter. Peyton SO i can't understand the. Third he is a franchise pick for The. Bears here they could have made.
01:08:35
Speaker 5: Even in THE, nfl And Kaylin black goes ahead of all the other running.
01:08:39
Speaker 2: Backs what are we? Doing?
01:08:42
Speaker 6: Well this is the forty. Nine they have a.
01:08:45
Speaker 8: HISTORY a guy who Was Kaylan black was not even invited to the.
01:08:50
Speaker 5: Combine go over all of Those day Two niners picks that you just, mentioned For god's, sake and just just penn, in.
01:08:59
Speaker 6: Is There eddie Chance Cavin black doesn't end up on that. List we're doing a stream two years from now talking About day two picks for The. Niners he's gonna be on that, list? Right what is?
01:09:08
Speaker 2: Happening?
01:09:09
Speaker 8: Guy Klin black is the third running back off the, board and he was not invited to the combine this year ahead of and he didn't. Start he didn't start college team.
01:09:21
Speaker 2: At any.
01:09:22
Speaker 5: Point, Here i'm gonna wake up and it's going to Be day two in THE Nfl, draft and it's not going to. Be The steelers Took Drew aler And xavi And thomas goes ahead of Uh Chris.
01:09:33
Speaker 6: Bell The ravens didn't pass On Chris bell to Take Jacobe, lane, who according To Matt, harmon has the worst separation against man coverage of any receiver the last three, years not this, year the last three, years by the, uh the at least the guy that you hated when they Picked bagman isn't going to be on the. Field, uh my guy is going to be on the field and not contributing the WAY i.
01:09:59
Speaker 2: Want, oh here we, Go here we.
01:10:01
Speaker 1: Go, yeah The.
01:10:02
Speaker 2: Dolphins that's a good. Pick there we.
01:10:04
Speaker 6: Go, yeah that feels like one of THE i mean to answer your question that you just asked, fits that feels like one of my favorite.
01:10:11
Speaker 8: Picks he's, raw, though like he's he is not a good route runner right, now but.
01:10:18
Speaker 6: He's he's really, athletic and he has an. OPPORTUNITY i, mean they hell nobody else how much they need pass. Catchers he's he.
01:10:29
Speaker 5: Is immediately your number one or number two pass catcher behind a Chan so.

Speaker 8: Immediately he can't run right, NOW i, think, yeah but he's he he by the, way he was running a couple of days.
01:10:41
Speaker 5: Ago you saw him on the. Treadmill SO i think he's gonna be fine for. Camp SO i don't know if he's going to be one hundred percent and guaranteed For week, one but he'll be. Close he'll be, like maybe maybe a pup. Stint but what what are The dolphins care about a pup stint this? Year, Right they're gonna float down to the bottom and try to Get arch or Or dante more. Somebody they're they're looking for their quarter or, uh they're they're looking FOR i guess it'd Be Jeremiah smith next. Year so, whoever this is because they sign a, leak so they're gonna sink to the bottom and get a high pick next. Year they're they're not interested in competing in twenty twenty six, anyway so might as well Take. BELL i would have taken him where they Took Caleb. DOUGLAS i think if you switch these, picks they make way more. Sense but they're. NOT i Guess bell's medicals were just not very. Good so they got their. Quarterback, Bogs they're not going to Take, Arch they're going to Take.
01:11:33
Speaker 2: Smith that's WHAT i just. Say, yeah they're gonna Take.

01:12:12
Speaker 5: Henry that's that's a lot of mileage on On Hunter henry because he WAS i, mean he was a big target For, arkansas you. Know so he's got a lot of mileage on. Him and then It's Julian hill who they, sign And Jack westover is kind of a. Tweeter So raredan's a good pick for, them just not very not very fantasy friendly in my.
01:12:34
Speaker 8: Opinion so, yeah four six two, speed.
01:12:40
