OM DENNE EPISODE
In this inspiring episode of Fanatical DreamHer, host April Kemp welcomes Jessica Anderson, Delegate for Virginia's 71st House District, for an honest conversation about resilience, public service, and the courage to keep pursuing your dreams—even after experiencing disappointment.
Jessica shares how growing up with a resilient single mother shaped her outlook on life, how becoming a single parent herself deepened her commitment to serving others, and how working in public schools opened her eyes to the challenges many families face. Those experiences ultimately led her from community advocacy to public office, where she continues working to improve the lives of Virginians through authentic leadership and meaningful service.
After narrowly losing her first election, Jessica refused to let defeat define her. Instead, she returned stronger, built deeper relationships within her community, and ultimately earned victory through perseverance, integrity, and an unwavering belief in her purpose. Her story is a powerful reminder that setbacks are often the foundation for future success.
