In this episode of EngineeringPro we spoke to Madison Smith, a mechanical engineering graduate from BC, Canada, who is currently working as a technical advisor in building technology and energy solutions.
We discuss how she discovered her passion for engineering, and how that led to choosing to study engineering. Madison also shares her insights into internships and how the opportunity led to her first exciting full-time role.
Her journey into social media began during a work-study position at her university, where she discovered her passion for content creation. Recognising the need for more female representation in the engineering field, she launched her own channels to showcase the dynamic side of mechanical engineering and highlight how exciting and impactful the industry can be.
Madison creates a mix of educational, lifestyle, and meme content, making engineering accessible and fun for a wider audience while inspiring the next generation of women in STEM.
