Laura, we've covered a lot of ground on leadership development, specifically in sales organizations with the adoption of AI First Mindset. As we talk through that, any thoughts you can share with us regarding ongoing learnings from adoption that people should keep in mind as they move forward?
Laura Longcore (00:27)
I will reiterate a couple things that I had said earlier and then just maybe just encourage people. One is as leaders, we should recognize that AI is being used in your organization, whether you know it or not. So get curious on what your employees are doing. What are they finding effective? They're using it in their personal lives. They're probably using it in their work lives.
The mode is changing for ongoing learning. The speed is changing. The frequency is changing. And it's also getting much more personalized. I think the formal training that we knew as classroom training and things like that does get much more targeted in the world of AI. It looks at where your weaknesses are, where are your strengths, what skills do you need to go develop? And so things like critical thinking and data analysis
and insights become more and more important. And I guess I would just wrap with saying, embrace learning, because at every level of the organization, whether you're an employee, an emerging leader, an executive, or the CEO of the company, ongoing learning is not really an option anymore. It's something that we all have to lean into. It's what's going to help grow the business.
What's going to help us be better communicators. It's what's going to help us engage with our customers more effectively. And it's what's going to help us succeed.

Fantastic. You know, I take from that is I've had other guests on Laura that talked in similar tones, not as acute as you have. But they said that it comes down to it's not just muscle memory, but it is all of us have a certain generation before we start our days, we do our to do lists and what's going to be knocked out and how we prioritize it. But they'd literally look at their list and say, what new tool can I use to make it better?
Laura, thank you very much for giving us your time today and being a guest again here on Elevating Performance. Your perspective and insights on learning in technology, specifically the AI, are really fantastic.

Thanks, Mark. It's always a pleasure. And, you know, this is an area that I'm super passionate about bringing together business learning, technology like AI and learning itself into the discussions. So really appreciate the time.

Absolutely. Have a great day. Bye.
