Lee Glass: Yeah, boy, boy, boy, boy.
Lincoln: but it was Jalen Hurt's fault. I mean, I'm I'm just saying. I'm just saying.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Who
Lincoln: I'm just saying. Anyway, the the the the the the New England Patriots are coming to town, play the Chicago Bears, Caleb Williams. This is gonna be This is gonna be a good game. Look, Drake May has kind of turned it around a little bit. He was looking a little shaky there. Looked like they've turned it around a little bit. and so we'll see. You know, I don't want to hear any excuses, though, for AJ Brown. The reason why I don't want to hear any excuses is because he was the one that said, now he finally has a quarterback that can make every throw. Can make every throw. And so. He was making the throws, but you wasn't catching it. So that that that's that that's just an indication. So anyway, in this game, man, look, like I said, this is gonna be a tight one. you get you
Lee Glass: Mm-hmm.
Lincoln: you get you get paid to catch the ball, which you didn't do. I'm going with the Chicago Bears in this game. I think the Bears are gonna hold hold farm at home. I think Caleb Williams is gonna do his thing. I'm not saying it's gonna be a blood by any stretch of the means. But I think the Bears are just, you know, gonna get back. Caleb's getting back. They're gonna get on a roll. And you know, they are gonna they're gonna be the Pats. I I think the Pats are playing well. Don't get me wrong. I I I I'm impressed on how they turn it around these last two games. but I think the Bears are just at a at a moment right now where Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams are gonna start clicking again and getting this thing up on track.
Donald "Doc" Glass: I I think the Bears are gonna try to leverage the eyes on them with this Thursday night game to convince Chicago and and Illinois to, you know, put some more money down and keep them in Illinois so they don't go to Indiana and become the Indiana Bears. New England's playing well. I just think the Bears right now are are a bit too formidable for them. So yeah, I I th I I don't like saying it, but I think Chicago's gonna win. And, you know, probably by a good touchdown. I think Chicago's gonna end up winning this game and beating the beating the Patriots. So
Lee Glass: the Bears are the better team, I think. Drake May is playing better. Bears are gonna be at home. I I don't think I I don't know, man. Every time I think I know who's gonna win, the other team somehow pulls it out. Every time. So just for that alone, I I nothing against the Bears. I I think the Bears should win. But I'm gonna pick the Patriots to win it. if nothing else, just so that, you know, we're not all on the same on the same team for this one. So no no no rhyme or reason. I'm just I'm just gonna pick the Patriots. Yeah, I'm just picking the Patriots to win.
Lincoln: No round raising. Gotcha. Gotcha. All right. we got the the the 49ers Falcons. It's another another game. I mean, the 49ers again, okay, they're 6-0. The Falcons are 2-4. 49ers are coming to Atlanta to play. and it's going to be a 49ers home game. I it's it's just gonna be a 49ers home game. the Falcons fans, again, we already talked about them. They're gonna be watching it on TV. They they like to watch it on TV. They they got YouTube TV, you know, they got they got you know, they got their their direct TV, NFL Sunday ticket, you
Donald "Doc" Glass: And I suddenly took it.
Lincoln: know. They're not trying to pay all the fees and stuff like that. You know, parking in Atlanta downtown, it's expensive, man. Thirty dollars, forty dollars for parking, man.
Lee Glass: And and the and the weather's gotten a little bit colder, right? Is it you know, down yeah, yeah, yeah. That's uncomfortable, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Lincoln: The the weather's gotten cold and yeah, the the Falcons don't want to go down there. They watch that on TV. So yeah, yeah, yeah. I I I fully expect fully expect the 49ers to come in here and and continue to handle business against the Falcons. I think the Falcons are gonna put up a fight though. I think the Falcons are gonna put up a fight. I I I I do wanna say that. I think B. John Robinson is gonna have a a good game. I think Michael Pannox is gonna do something. but it it's not gonna be enough for the 49ers. I think the 49ers are just in a different stratosphere. Right now, the the the the pundits have the 49ers as in the NFC championship game with the Chicago Bears. So that's that's that's what it's looking like right now. That's what they're saying. they do look like the best team in the NFC right now. and so you know we'll we'll we'll see but I think the 49ers are gonna come here Tadline and just take business and and do what they got to do.
Donald "Doc" Glass: So it it sounds like Atlanta got the same problem. Dal Dallas got don't know if it's for the same reason 'cause in Dallas it's more like you buy the expensive tickets and then you, you know, sell on Stub Hub and people make some money selling them tickets to to the visiting teams and and corporate and everything else and then, you know, you wonder why the home team don't really have the home home field advantage. that that and the Niners travel. Niners fans travel, right? So that all that all being said, I think for folks who love offensive football, this may be one of those marquee games to watch because at the running back position you got Bijan and and McCaffrey. You got two quarterbacks who can l light it up. when they're feeling when they're feeling good, hopefully Panix is is throwing well and Purdy is just playing great football. and so as much as I would like to say that the Falcons are gonna beat the Niners and and give them their first loss of the season I just I just I can't in good faith say it out loud. So I'm going with the Niners to beat to beat the Falcons.
Lee Glass: Okay. All right. So I just broke the clinch of the last time with with the two Bears and and and the and the and the Patriots pick. That matchup is a lot closer in terms of the two teams and being evenly matched. Not even, but they they they I can see a competitive game there. I don't see that with this one. I just don't see that with this one. I I don't see that the Falcons can match the intensity. Can match the ingenuity, can match the just the overall skill level of the 49ers. even with Mike Evans, I think Mike Evans is out, right? But it but it does it it don't
Lincoln: Yeah, he's out. Yeah.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Think so. Yeah, yes.
Lee Glass: matter. Everybody out. Everybody's be out for the for the 49ers, it doesn't matter. Purdy, as we said, he's playing at an MVP level. He's playing really good football. As much as I hate that team, he is like watching him play the game. is a joy to watch. It's like he's doing it the right way as a quarterback. Love it. But yeah, I just don't see the Falcons matching up with these guys. Penix, in as much as he's playing really good football, still pretty young, I think the Niners are gonna exploit his his youth and you know his inexperience and I mean and it still feel like they're just one hit away from Tua getting on the field. Bijan is gonna have to really come break out in order for them to to be competitive. But seeing how he was contained this la this last this past week, Raheem Morris with the 49ers, he they they study film. They're gonna they're gonna look into what, you know, how how that happened and probably adopt that. And that defense is flexible enough with all those veterans to be able to adapt and make those changes. So I'm gonna go with the with the trifecta here for this one.
Lincoln: Yeah. In this next game, man, the Monday night game, you got you got two teams, man. Both of them are two and four in the NFC East. and actually still got a chance to win the NFC East at two and four. That's that's just that's just ridiculous. I don't know I don't know how this game is gonna look. because the Eagles don't have anybody. and you know, and the the the the the cowboys don't have anybody in in terms of you know their team showing up and so this is gonna be in Philly and I can't believe that I'm gonna do this. I really I I I can't believe I'm gonna do this on Monday night. I'm going with the Eagles now. I gotta I'm sticking with the Eagles. There's no way home team. I gotta go with the Eagles. There's no way I can pick the Cowboys. so I I just think these two teams are struggling. Hopefully it don't end in a tie. Somebody gotta win. Somebody gotta win. I I don't know. I don't I don't know. Somebody gotta win.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Someone does not have to win.
Lee Glass: No, no, that that's not true. That that that's not true.
Lincoln: I hope somebody win. That's what I'm saying then. I
Lee Glass: That's not true. All right.
Lincoln: This the NFC Eats, man. Anything could happen in this.
Lee Glass: Then if right.
Lincoln: NFC the NFC lease, that's what you say duh. Yeah.
Donald "Doc" Glass: NFC Least man. you're you're giving the NFC West a run. NFC South a run for their money. No, I I thought when you was hesitating on picking the team you were trying to pull a George Costanza and do the the the reverse the reverse psychology thing. I thought you actually might have said the C word. this d so this matchup is interesting for a whole bunch of of of ways that folks did not expect at the beginning of the season. this is and you can figure out which one is which one, but this is a dumpster and a cluster f facing off against each other. All right. And so one team got a bunch of injuries, quarterbacks out with a blood clot and
Lee Glass: What the
Donald "Doc" Glass: what you know, what's what's going on there. And then the other team is like Defense having a hard time stopping folks. Offense supposed to carry the team. Offense ain't doing what they're supposed to do. And what's going on there? This is gonna be Tom B tom Birdie Jr. Is he he starting this one? Okay, well
Lincoln: Brady Jr.
Donald "Doc" Glass: it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's junior. So I'm I'm I am going. Only because of of of Fangio there is a coach on one of these teams that seems to have an idea as to what they're doing. So because of that, I think the Eagles are gonna pull it out at home against the Cowboys. Because of def the defense. So
Lee Glass: You're all gonna make me do this. You all gonna make me do it. Come on, man. Is is
Donald "Doc" Glass: Go second next time man. Just go second next time.
Lee Glass: is is is Sa is Saquon playing?
Donald "Doc" Glass: Not sure.
Lincoln: Don't know yet. I don't know yet. I don't I don't know.
Lee Glass: yeah man, I'm I'm gonna go Cowboys. I'm gonna go Cowboys.
Lincoln: boys. Gotta pick away. It's somebody gotta win, man. Somebody gotta win.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Got
Lee Glass: Mm. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm I'm I'm gonna go Cowboys. I you know what I I was I was I
Donald "Doc" Glass: No one has to win.
Lincoln: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Lee Glass: was gonna say I'm gonna go tie, but you know, but I don't wanna I don't wanna do that to you. I don't wanna do that to you. It's gonna be a tie. But I'll I'll I'll go I'll go Cowboys.
Lincoln: Hey, that might just happen, man. That might just happen. Take me out after that if that happened. Take me out.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Okay. Both both these teams in the situational football man, you never know. They may watch up they may watch the tie. They may watch the tie. Yep.
Lincoln: You never know. You never know. Never know.
Lee Glass: I mean, two two qu quest question for you, question for you guys. I i is Sirianni gonna be the Eagles coach next year?
Lincoln: No. No. I can tell you that straight up. No. He's done.
Donald "Doc" Glass: I I think I think more likely than not, he he may get a pass only because there's been so many injuries. That yeah.
Lincoln: Mm mm. Mm mm. Yeah, eagle on man. Eagle.
Donald "Doc" Glass: What do you think?
Lee Glass: You want him gone or you think he's gonna be gone?
Lincoln: I think he's gonna be gone. I mean both. Both. But I but I but I but I think he's gonna be
Lee Glass: Ha ha ha.
Lincoln: gone. You know, he he because I think at this point you could really see the incompetence of of of where he is. I mean it it's it's it's I know they throw a lot on him at a at the last minute, but at the same time, he he he doesn't really bring anything to the game. He doesn't bring anything to the game and and and he's not really being of value in any way, shape, or form. And and I I think he just needs to just needs to go. Maybe go go go down there with Petulo or one of them, you know, and just y'all reunite down there in Miami. but yeah he he he he won't be there.
Lee Glass: And the funny thing is,
Lincoln: All right.
Lee Glass: if if he if he loses, if he does they if they do get rid of him, he ain't he's not gonna be a head coach ever again.
Lincoln: No, no. Who's who wanna who who gonna hire him? Nobody meant.
Lee Glass: Yeah.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Well the the man won a Super Bowl. You don't think he got
Lee Glass: Pin to two.
Donald "Doc" Glass: it
Lee Glass: Bin to two. One one.
Lincoln: Let me tell you, Kellen Moore was a big, big, big part of that. He did not, he was an experienced offensive coordinator who did not listen let Nick infiltrate his offense. He had little
Lee Glass: Yeah.
Lincoln: pieces of Nick's offense in there, but at the same time, he was able to push back on Nick and say, no, Nick, I'm doing this, this, this, this how this going. This this this how this going. but the other guys, you could see when Nick has the majority influence, this is how it's gonna go. And so if you if if Howie them don't see that, then you know, Howie is not as good a general manager as he thought I thought he was. But yeah, he the he he has to be gone after this. Gotta be so all
Lee Glass: Okay.
Lincoln: right. Let's jump into the rapid fire section, man. Rapid fire section is where we go down these picks real quick and we are going to choose them. And so let's
Lee Glass: Mm-hmm.
Lincoln: start off with the Steelers Saints. The Steelers are four and two, Saints are two and four, the Saints are at home. the Steelers had a big win on this last week. The Steelers are in first place. And and old man got the team clicking. I'm going with the Steelers.
Donald "Doc" Glass: They are playing in f Paris and because of the f the Fleur de Lease, I'm going with the Saints. So
Lee Glass: nice, nice, nice. Yeah, no, I'm I'm gonna go Steelers. They they they they they're running the ball
Lincoln: All right.
Lee Glass: now. I think I think they're gonna keep it up. Keep it going.
Lincoln: All right. You got Bengals coming back from their bye. three and two. They are visiting Baltimore. That's four and two. I'm not sure if Lamar Jackson is going to be playing in this game. I know he was hurt last game. He was out. I'm not sure. but this is gonna be a good one. But I think that the Bengals are going to win the game. They're gonna come in and upset Baltimore, I don't think.
Donald "Doc" Glass: AFC North rivalry games are always interesting and fun to watch. I'm gonna go with the Ravens in this one. I think Baltimore holds sort of at home.
Lee Glass: Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Bengals on this one.
Lincoln: All right. You got the one and five Buccaneers visiting the three and two Panthers. the Buccaneers, while Jalen Williams has been playing okay, I I I gotta go with the Panthers at home Panthers.
Donald "Doc" Glass: in that case Did I miss this? Panthers are playing Buccaneers. yeah, Panthers. I'm sorry.
Lee Glass: Yeah, Panthers.
Lincoln: All right. We got the Giants three, two, and one visiting the Texans. I got the Texans.
Donald "Doc" Glass: I'm gonna go with the Giants on this one. I think that's gonna be an upset. I'm going with the Giants.
Lee Glass: J J McCarthy, huh? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So we we
Donald "Doc" Glass: Yeah, yeah. Now that he ain't in Minnesota he could play. So
Lee Glass: didn't get to talk about that, but J J McCarthy came in last week and he was bawling out. So
Donald "Doc" Glass: Lighten it up.
Lee Glass: he was lighting it up. Yeah, I'm still going with the Texans though.
Lincoln: Speak speaking of the the the former team of JJ McCarthy, you got the Minnesota Vikings five and coming back off their bye, visiting the team Indianapolis Colts who just fired their GM. so they don't know what's going on, Vikings.
Lee Glass: Easy. Easy way. Easy. Vikings. Easy. So Colts just they Colts they they they just fired their GM. The GM is out the door, right?
Donald "Doc" Glass: Can we gotta ask me? Yep.
Lee Glass: they're in flux. Home grid. I told you all at the beginning of the season. She she's inserting herself all over the place, right? So
Donald "Doc" Glass: Yeah.
Lee Glass: yeah, I'm gonna go go Vikings.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Skull, Vikings. Vikings were another one. So
Lincoln: All right, we got the O and five Dolphins visiting the Jets. Dolphins gonna continue to go four, and six, I'm going with the Jets.
Donald "Doc" Glass: This is actually a tougher call than I would have suspected, but I'm going with the Jets at home. I think the Jets are gonna keep the Dolphins winning this.
Lee Glass: Jets.
Lincoln: All right. We got the Browns four and two visiting the Tennessee Titans. Titans picked up their first win this past weekend, but they're gonna lose. I'm going with the Browns in this game.
Donald "Doc" Glass: In Sala we trust they're gonna get two in a row. I'm going with Tennessee.
Lee Glass: Yeah, I've never ever been so confident of c to pick the Browns before in my life, but Browns. I hate this for Salah, man, but Browns.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Sure.
Lincoln: Yeah. All right. Let's jump to the the four PM games. we got the Broncos four and two visiting the Cardinals. yeah, lightning don't strike twice. the Broncos are gonna come in and they are gonna take care of the Cardinals. I'm going to
Donald "Doc" Glass: As much as I would love to pick the Cardinals or Broncos. I think Broncos just be too much.
Lee Glass: Watch how easy the Broncos make this game look. Broncos. It's gonna be sick to my stomach, man.
Lincoln: Yeah. Right. He got the
Lee Glass: Switching.
Lincoln: Green Bay Packers four and two visiting the Detroit Lions. This is a this is a division game. you know, this this this one is this one this one got me in flux here, but I'm going with the Packers. Jordan Love. You know how I feel about Jordan Love, but anyway, I'm going with the Packers.
Donald "Doc" Glass: I chair for two teams in the NFL: the Minnesota Vikings and any team playing the Grim Packers. Some going with the Lions.
Lee Glass: Oof. Lions at home? Yeah, I'll go
Lincoln: I don't know
Lee Glass: with the Lions. Lions.
Lincoln: All right. We got the Rams two and four. Visiting in the
Lee Glass: Raiders, Raiders, Raiders, Raiders.
Lincoln: I know we say I know we say rapid, right? But not too rapid.
Donald "Doc" Glass: It was fast.
Lee Glass: Raiders Raiders.
Lincoln: my goodness. I got you. I got you. I got you. I got
Lee Glass: Sorry sorry, Links, fin finish. You go go ahead. Yeah.
Lincoln: you. Rams Raiders. let me tell you, this this man. boy, Rams, you're doing it to me. You're doing it to me, Rams. Look, I think McVay isn't gonna continue to allow this to happen. McVeigh, McVeigh, he's not gonna allow this to happen, man. I'm going with the Rams.
Donald "Doc" Glass: my heart says Rams, but the more I think of it, the injuries the Rams got, the way the Raiders have been coached this season, I I hate to say it, but I think I'm gonna go with the Raiders.
Lee Glass: In case you didn't hear me the first time, ra Raiders.
Lincoln: I got you, man. I got you.
Lee Glass: Yeah, Raiders, yeah.
Lincoln: man. All right. Sunday night football. this is the last game that in rapid fire. We got the Kansas City Chiefs visiting the Seattle Seahawks. I said this before. Seattle just it it's they're missing that running game. That's what it is. I was trying to figure it out. They're missing the running game. Lee, you said it eloquently a couple times before. I'm going with the Chiefs. They're gonna go 6-0.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Kenneth Walker gets to show Seattle what they missing? Yeah, I'm going with the Chiefs.
Lee Glass: Yeah, this this'll be a nice homecoming for him. But this one of those scenarios where something doesn't go quite right. Yeah, I'm I'm gonna go Seahawks on this one.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Okay.
Lincoln: Okay. All right. Well, that's it for rapid fire. That's it for this week. this was a good slate of games, starting from the Thursday games all the way through, man. I think this is gonna be another interesting season in the interesting week in the NFL. Looking forward to it, man, fellas. So we'll we'll we'll we'll catch up after the games, man.
Lee Glass: All right, fellas. Have a good one.
Donald "Doc" Glass: Good.
Lincoln: All right man. A
