We’re Back! Devils Expectations, Ovechkin Stories and NHL Chirps

Cory Schneider and Brian Boyle are back for the first One-Time All Stars of 2026-27. They size up the Devils, including Luke Hughes’ next step, New Jersey’s forward depth and the questions in goal.
The guys also swap Alex Ovechkin stories, admit that even NHL players get nervous asking for autographs and revisit some memorable chirps. Cory recalls trying to keep Ovechkin from reaching 50 goals, while Brian explains why his NHL trash talk didn’t translate to men’s league.
Plus, family updates, Cory’s African safari, their takes on trade requests and big contracts, and why Devils-Rangers games always meant a little more.
