OM DENNE EPISODE
April 24, 2025 - Equipped 2025 - Day 1 - 6:30PM Auditorium Session
"Though Your Sins Be As Scarlet" (Isaiah 1:18) by Tim Lewis
Isaiah 1:18 - “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
This episode delves into the profound themes of sin, judgment, and ultimately, the grace and redemption offered by God. Through an exploration of biblical passages from Isaiah, Jeremiah, and stories of the kings of Judah, we see how sin is often underestimated and the critical importance of acknowledging its weight. Despite the grievous sins committed throughout history, God's message of forgiveness and redemption shines through. With vivid illustrations of transformation from "scarlet" sins to purity as "white as snow," the listener is encouraged to embrace the cleansing grace available through faith and the sacrifice of Jesus. The episode reminds us of the power of repentance and the promise that God's mercy is never far from those who seek it.
