The book of Hebrews is one of the most profound and frequently misunderstood books in the Bible. At its heart is the supremacy of Jesus Christ, the sufficiency of His finished work, and the perfection that can only be found in Him.
In this introductory lesson to our verse-by-verse exposition of Hebrews, we establish the foundation necessary to properly understand and interpret this remarkable book.

• The original audience and why understanding whom the book addresses is essential to proper interpretation.
