Alexis Wilson joins the show to discuss her upbringing on the west side of Detroit, the influence her family has had on her desire to serve, her experience at the University of Michigan where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Communications, her entrepreneurial endeavors in Los Angeles, and so much more. Alexis is the founder of The Menternship, which is a nonprofit organization aimed at connecting young, under-resourced women to high-ranking executives at major companies. She is also the Chief Executive Officer at Exalt Management, a company whose mission is to help high-performing professionals tap into their full potential by enhancing their mindset. Alexis is the founder and CEO of TMPL, a natural and non-toxic product line that she uses to remind folks to honor their bodies as a temple. She's all about finding purpose rather than chasing achievements, and prioritizing the internal work in order to sustain external success. This young woman is wise beyond her years, so be sure to take notes as she drops gems throughout the conversation!
