ChristCentered Coaches: Everybody loves a good story. And that's why we are going to do a whole series for you that it's all about some of the best stories that we have heard here on our Christ centered coaches channel. We love talking about Christ, testifying about Christ, and meeting other people who are doing the same online. So sometimes we're going to have some episodes where you get the whole thing, but this that we're bringing to you here is some of our favorite stories from our last year of recordings. I hope you enjoy learning a bit from these stories about Jesus Christ.
Zoie olayan: when I first came back from my mission, I came back a little bit early and I was like, oh my gosh, like I failed, like what did I do? Just because you're a fool for Jesus doesn't always mean like life goes how you want it to go. Because I came back and I got two more hip surgeries and got diagnosed with a few random health things. And I think the key point to understand is that do I want to live a life where I can go hiking and do all this? Yes. But more than anything, I want to be a fool for Jesus. I want to make it back to heaven. I want to sit there and be like, I did everything in my power that I could possibly do while living that worldly life where now I can be here. Because this life is not like, we think like, oh, it's so long and it's not that long. Like it is
ChristCentered Coaches: Hmm.
Zoie olayan: such a blimp in our lives. And if this little blimp, we can just truly be a fool for Jesus and do that, then I mean, for the rest of eternity, you can have. utter joy.
ChristCentered Coaches: Yeah, that's so true. We need Jesus so much in our lives. I also came home early from my mission. I transferred to a service mission and had some health issues, mental health issues and things like that. And it was really just through focusing on my relationship with Christ that changed my mission. Like full circle, just completely turned around because He was my strength. It wasn't about me anymore. I was coming to know him and then he showed me all of the joy and light that he has and I was like, I've just been so focused on myself, like poor me, I'm suffering. But with him doing it with me, I just felt so much more strength and I'm sure you've felt that too.
Zoie olayan: Yes, because at first you're like, okay, like this sucks, I'm sick. And my friends wanna go do this, but I can't go do that. And of course I want to go do that. But in the end, it's just what does God want me to do? And as I focused on that, I was able to see like, wow, like as I shared experiences and like my health concerns and all of this, I was- able to share that with other people on my mission and I was like wow like this is crazy and I would I used to have people ask me it was kind of random question but they were like if you could change your life and like all the stuff you've been through and all the health issues would you and I think at first I was like well that's kind of weird like yes but then at the more I thought about it I was like no I wouldn't change it because Christ has made me strong enough to get through it that I love sharing with others that they can be strong enough to get through it because with Christ you can be strong enough and I even if it was just one person that was like wow what you shared helped me and I feel less alone I wouldn't change it because I
ChristCentered Coaches: Mm.
Zoie olayan: want to be able to be a tool in Christ's hand.
