OM DENNE EPISODE
Oregon football is back to game week after its first bye of the season, and the Ducks will return to action with another Top 25 matchup as UCLA comes to town this weekend.
On Monday morning’s edition of the Autzen Audibles Mailbag, Matt Prehm and Erik Skopil answered subscriber questions surrounding Oregon’s matchup with the Bruins, the state of the Ducks coming out of the bye week and some of the biggest storylines facing Dan Lanning’s program.
The discussion starts with whether Oregon could experience a letdown after its emotional 41-27 road win over USC and just how concerned Duck fans should be about a UCLA team capable of presenting some challenges.
Matt and Erik also take a closer look at Oregon’s recent history coming out of bye weeks under Lanning and whether there is any reason for concern about how the Ducks will perform after having an extra week to prepare.
At quarterback, the conversation shifts to Dylan Raiola and how his skill set could potentially change Oregon’s offense compared to what Dante Moore provides. The mailbag also tackles a bigger-picture question about what a loss to UCLA would mean for Lanning and Oregon’s 2026 season.
Finally, the show closes with a hypothetical transfer portal discussion involving Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood and what Oregon’s level of interest could be if one of college football’s most talented quarterbacks ever became available.
