Shalom World Podcasts brings you reflective journey through the passion of Christ with our podcast series, "Where Were You?" Inspired by the timeless Lenten hymn, "Were you there, when they crucified my Lord?", each episode delves into the lives and experiences of historical and traditional figures who were present during the pivotal moments of Christ's crucifixion.

Through immersive storytelling, we explore the thoughts, emotions, and responses of individuals such as Mary the Mother of Jesus, the steadfast Simon Peter, the beloved disciple John, and the compassionate Veronica. We also encounter lesser-known but deeply impactful figures like Simon of Cyrene, Mary Magdalene, good thief  and the centurion

Drawing from scripture and tradition, each episode not only illuminates the perspectives of these characters but also invites listeners to introspect. How would we have responded if we were in their shoes? What does their journey teach us about our own relationship with Christ and the world around us?

As we journey through Lent, each episode concludes with a compelling call to action or decision, empowering listeners to prepare their hearts for Easter. "Where Were You?" challenges us to consider where we stand in the narrative of Christ's passion and how we can respond to His unfathomable love today.
